Typing Class: You may make incremental payments through my "Donate" button. If you want to take the class as a live-chat session, please pay for my chat typing class, log into your Facebook account and send me a request to add you as a friend. Once you are notified that I have approved your request, please send me a message indicating the times you will be logged on at facebook.com for the next 24 hours - it is okay to "unfriend" me after the class. If you live in St. Louis and want to meet me at a local computer lab for personal instruction, please tell me. The price is $75. If you want to try out my class before investing in it, I will give you one brief interactive e-lesson free of charge after you send me an e-mail with "free typing class lesson" on the subject line.

Shipping/Refunds: I begin shipping my CD's within one business day. You may buy several copies of any CD I sell through my "Donate" button. You may return your CD within a year for a full refund.

Data Entry Typing Practice

The purpose of this page is to enable you to develop your data entry skills and practice for a data entry test without having to download software or go through a free trial. Below are four sections you can work with. Please print out this page or minimize the size of this page while using Microsoft Word to do your typing. When you type a set of numbers, it is best to use the ten-key pad on the right side of your keyboard. When you must type in a proper noun, it is best to type the first letter of the word with one hand while holding down a "Shift" key with the other hand, then put the tips of your fingers slightly above the A-S-D-F and J-K-L-; keys and type in the rest of the word.

Special Tip: When typing Maine, lift up your left hand after hitting the A key to eliminate the likelihood of hitting the E key before you can type in I-N. Follow this same rule when typing Jane. Joseph: Lift your right hand after hitting the O key. Thomas: Lift your left hand after hitting the T key.

Augusta: Lift your left hand after hitting the A key and the G key. Atlanta: Lift your left hand after hitting the T key for the first time. Georgia: Lift your left hand after hitting the E key. Lift your left hand again after typing in R-G. Enterprises: Lift your left hand after hitting the E key and after hitting the R key both times. Raise your right hand after hitting the P key.

California: Lift your left hand after hitting the A key, lift your right hand after hitting the I key and raise your left hand after hitting the R key. Tuesday: Lift your left hand after hitting the T key. February: Lift your left hand after hitting the E key, lift your right hand after hitting the B key, then lift your left hand after hitting the R key. Thursday: Lift your left hand after hitting the T key. September: Lift your left hand after hitting the E key and lift your right hand after hitting the P key.
