Apple Device track your data like Android

Google's Android OS devices are considered unsafe because of the Carrier IQ data tracking software,Apple phones are no safer than them.Apple has admitted that its previous generation iOS platforms came along with Carrier IQ data tracking software.Company clarifies the software has been removed in most of its iOS 5 devices. iOS 5 comes with the recently launched iPhone 4S.

Carrier IQ software for tracking data in Android and Apple

Apple has assured that the future updates will remove the software completely. It is worth mentioning here that handset makers like Nokia and Research In Motion have already clarified that they don’t use Carrier IQ.

Carrier IQ had allegedly inked deals with major handset manufacturers and carriers to provide this data collection service for the purpose of diagnosing service issues, such as dropped calls, battery problems, and any other network issues to help make customer service more efficient.

Apple stopped supporting CarrierIQ with iOS 5 in most of our products and will remove it completely in the future software update. With any diagnostic data sent to Apple, customers must actively opt-in to share this information, and if they do, the data is sent in an anonymous and encrypted form and does not include any personal information.

We never recorded keystrokes, messages or any other personal information for diagnostic data and have no plans to ever do so.

Mozilla officially launched Firefox 8.New update from Mozilla comes in less than six months after its previous release and applies to the desktop editions of Firefox for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and the mobile Firefox for Android.

New Firefox brings Key features like Twitter search integration, on-demand tab group loading, and more WebGL graphics hardware acceleration support.

The developers have also worked on the security of the browser. The new safety feature bans third-party software installations from adding extensions.

Mozilla Firefox 8

Commenting on its Twitter integration, Mozilla said in a blog post, “The new Twitter search integration makes it easier to discover new topics, #hash, tags and @usernames. The feature will be limited to the English, Portuguese, Slovenian, and Japanese versions of Firefox, with more languages to come in future releases."

Mozilla said that the users can see some 3D examples of the technology on ibiblio.org. WebGL lets developers use standard JavaScript browser programming language to create interactive 3D graphics that run on the user's graphics hardware. Microsoft and Apple, however, consider WebGL a security risk. Internet Explorer 9 offers hardware acceleration based on Windows' latest DirectX APIs.

Android version of the browser comes with Master Password feature that helps against all the logins you use on your device. According to the Mozilla blog, "This will help your private info stay private if you ever share or lose your Android device. The update also lets Android users create icons that open to specified Web sites.”
