Smog is gross. As someone who lives in LA, a city that occasionally has it’s smog problems, I can tell you it stinks, makes you tired and when it rains it makes your clothes smell. Yep, smog sucks. But the problem is that just because it’s hazy, some people still don’t see it as a problem and continue to use their poluting machinery.

That’s why the World Wildlife Fund attached this inflated black cloud behind a car to showcase a larger than life guerrilla marketing smog example.

Want to know what it’s like to be a mom? Try taking care of this abandoned, screaming baby that’s been left in public. The baby carriage left in public was equipped with speakers that played the screams of a crying baby to allow you your turn at holding onto the reigns of a baby carriage and a screaming child.

Ok even I agree that’s not the same, but that was the point that Unicef was trying to get across when they created this abandoned baby guerrilla marketing campaign. But nonetheless the Unicef guerrilla marketing campaign is after a good cause – the world could use a whole lot more moms. I love moms.

Testicular Cancer Awareness Guerrilla Marketing Campaign Places Hands In “Convenient” Places

It is said that approximately 380 people die from testicular cancer each year. Now that might not seem that big when you first think about it, but when you think about how many potential kids that kills, and their potential kids, and THEIR potential kids, well it’s starts to stack up!

…but in all seriousness, it also affects Fathers, Brothers and the Mothers, Wives and loved ones of those who are affected by this unfortunate cancer. To raise awareness, guerrilla marketing hands were placed in places that a males crotch might be placed next to – such as car steering wheels and tables. The guerrilla marketing testicular cancer hands that are intentionally placed in inconvenient spots can’t be missed and the whole “testicular” topic is memoriable – great stuff.

Boy I hope I never have testicular cancer. I imagine it is nothing like the South Park episode, which still doesn’t seem that fun at all.

Here’s another reason to love Playstation’s hand-held PSP (as if you needed another reason). Heck, here’s even another reason to love tennis and let’s face it – I love tennis like the next American but couldn’t we all use one more reason to like Tennis?

In this guerrilla marketing tennis court graphics depicting a giant PSP device are placed around the outside of the tennis court, allowing it to appear as if the tennis players are playing inside the giant PSP device. The ad is of course best viewed from the bleacher seats or aerial views above, and if you ask me this PSP guerrilla marketing campaign is an exceptional use of an otherwise blank and unimaginative space.
