Glass Dates Add On Freebie

I managed to catch the speed scrap at Enchanted Studio Scraps last night. Or should I say I managed to stay awake for the speed scrap and finish a lo. One of the instructions was to use an acrylic element so I thought of the Glass Dates I offered yesterday as a freebie. I know, glass and acrylic are not the same things, but I thought I could interpret the instructions a little! So I put them in my lo and realized I wanted the dates in a frame. So I made one. Then I made a couple more. So I put them in an add on pack and offer them to you today! Also, a lovely blog reader, Jody, asked for a blank glass insert so I included 2 different versions in the add on as well.

Here is the lo that inspired the add on pack. I used Day 2 Day Project 365 kit by Scrapberry Designs, Starry Photo Masks which is a freebie by Twin Mom Scraps and the font is Pea Faith Dots.

Hello out there! I was looking at my blogging history and realized that I skipped the entire month of December and most of January. Its tough finding the time to scrap, keep up with CT stuff, take care of 2 kiddos and a house, and blog! Oh yeah and sleep once in a while too!!

Life here is good, but relatively unchanged. My boys are growing up so fast. Benjamin is over 2 1/2 and a ball of energy and fun. Alexander is 9 1/2 months. He's speed crawling and cruising along the furniture. I anticipate him walking any day now!

In the scrapping world I am still CTing for Enchanted Studio Scraps. I love it there! They are having lots of fun activities for their 1st anniversary so you should go check it out. I am also CTing for Leslie G. Designs. She is a designer at ESS. She has a bunch of cute kits in her store.

I have decided to participate in Project 365 this year. So far I am on track with my photo taking so hopefully I continue!

My poor little blog. Its so very random! Its been a while since I posted about the family and I have about a million lo's to share just because its been so long!

My boys are wonderful!! Benjamin is talking more and more everyday and I am constantly proud and awed by how smart he is! We are in 2 classes this fall. One is called Wee Explore where we are meeting at different parks around the area to go on nature walks, explore, do crafts, and other fun stuff. Yesterday was our first class and Benjamin loved it. The other class is called Wonder Years and it is fun, organized playgroup. I really think Benjamin would enjoy preschool so we are thinking about sending him next year. I think it would be hard on Mommy!

Alexander is amazing as well! He will be 6 months old in a couple days!! Wow, what a fast 6 months this has been. He is working hard on crawling and can make it across the room pretty quickly. He is keeping Shawn and I on our toes!!

We are in the middle of home improvements. Our walls are half painted, but the ones that are done look really good. We are attempting organization, but we are at the point that it is more chaotic than organized. I brought a bunch of maternity clothes and baby clothes to a consignment sale and the rest are going to charity. That was a little emotional, but the reasonable part of my brain told me that we can't keep everything. I saved the outfits that both boys came home from the hospital in and that's it.

So, we are keeping busy! I've managed to do some scrapping, but not a ton. I do have a ton of lo's to share though because I haven't posted them in so long!! This is about 2 months worth of lo's.

My poor little already neglected blog is going to be even more ignored. We are leaving to visit my parents for 2 weeks. They live on the beach in New Jersey. Its going to be so fun! Benjamin LOVES the beach so he'll have a blast.

So my departing gift (LOL) is the other thing I love besides templates and that is photo masks. How fun are they!! Here is a pic of my cutie Alexander I made using this photomask.
Here is my little preview for it. The cat in the photo on the preview was a little guy we met in Puerto Rico several years ago. I wanted to stuff him in suitcase and take him home with us, but I resisted the urge!

More Sickies and Lemmon City Production News!!

Another fun bout of the sickies has descended upon our happy home. It stared out with Benjamin who is doing better now. Now poor little Alexander has a cold and an ear infection as well. My poor babies!!

So we've been stuck in the house a lot and we're kind of going crazy. I got some scrapping done though. I'm really hoping that next week we can get out more!

Again, I really have to post more so I don't have so many lo's on 1 post. But, I'm the mom of 2, so I should be grateful I can find time to post at all!

Benjamin has his 2nd cold since we joined the Y. Everyone is telling me that this is good and he's building his immune system by hanging out with a bunch of new germy kids. However, we are stuck in the house and going a little stir crazy!! He is supposed to start tumbling tomorrow and I don't know if its going to happen. He was supposed to start last month, but couldn't because both he and Alexander had colds. Maybe he'll make a miraculous recovery overnight.

LOTD at Inspiration Lane!!

When life gives you kiwis...

We've been getting organic fruits and veggies from a co-op for a couple of months now. We get a basket every 2 weeks. The last basket had a whole bunch of kiwis in it and I was trying to figure out something to do with them all, other than the obvious just eating them. I found this kiwi muffin recipe at JustMuffinRecipes.com. Its not the fanciest website you'll ever run across, but it serves its purpose I guess! So I made the kiwi muffins.

They turned out OK. They were kind of cakey and sugary and fell apart really easily. Benjamin and Shawn didn't complain! If I make them again I will probably cut the sugar down to see if more kiwi flavor comes through.

We had a nice quiet Father's Day last Sunday. We spent a quiet day around the house. I made baked ziti for the family. The cashier at Publix gave me flack for not making something fancier for Father's Day. OK, first of all, I asked Shawn and that is what he requested and second, since when is OK for the cashier at the grocery store to give me crap about what I cook! I've noticed that the cashier's at Publix have gotten kind of opinionated and have given me advice on everything from breastfeeding to lobster tails (which is what I was supposed to be making according to the cashier that day). Well, I guess you have to be an outgoing people person to work in the public like that. I know they mean no harm and are trying to be nice. Back on the subject of Father's Day, here are the homemade gifts Shawn received.

First he got a Benjamin original painting. Its very beautiful, isn't it?
