I call it an inspiring evening

2012-10-03T16:24:00.000-07:00

I suppose this is really what tumblr is for but since I've been collecting this images from everywhere for a while now and I feel that fashion is very much inspired but the everyday, I felt it appropriate to post what inspires me to create on here too. I hope you enjoy.
JA!

I want this now.

2012-08-25T11:17:00.002-07:00

Sorry for my absence, I've been doing nothing in particular.
Anyways these bad boys have been around for a while and everyone and their granny was wearing them, and that was my problem with them. They aren't around as much anymore so now I like them ALOT. They are available here, but you all probably now that so I'm out.

I always wanted to be a mermaid...

So sorry but I think I'm desperate now... one teaspoon you are my sugar

2012-05-01T17:04:00.001-07:00

This is kinda like a cry for help... Kinda.
I'm that person who see's something, wants it and then when funds don't allow it gets really very depressed and never ever forgets that something I wanted and could not have.
Alas this something has come back to haunt me:

I should totally send out and hang up wanted posters but that would be crazy. If anyone knows of anyone that is selling this in a XS/S or if you know of a retailer that still stocks this I WOULD BE SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL.

AND...
I'm sorry I have been away, I became addicted to Tumblr which I'll link here. I will be back starting next week when uni is over and I can start my summer holiday.
Peace out my beauties.
xoxo

Doing Monroe again

2012-03-31T14:11:00.001-07:00

There's nothing quite like a Saturday evening with Marilyn Monroe, I never got around to watching the film that was made about her, and if anyone has Was it any good? recommended watch?
There's something so tragic about her that I find so inspirational.

I was reading one of my favourite blogs WOLFCUB, and she had posted a series of these that had been styled by the i-D team and these two just struck me and I had to share them...
Enjoy.

Burberry aw12

Burberry bringing out our inner londoner once again. See what I said about the dark greens and grey!? This collection is very feminine, bringing out the womanly shape in such a beautiful manner. I am in love with the camel coloured coat first in the last photo, it's just so effortless looking but so sophisticated. I also very much enjoy how this collection looks so textured, the urge to feel all the different fabrics and materials used in the designs is so overwhelming.
I admit I've never been the biggest fan of Burberry but that's mostly been down to the fact that I dislike the branded fashion items that are trashed with logos and specific patterns, that are used over and over again on every item imaginable so that people can match from head to toe. Like the LV bags, I've always preferred Mulberry and Chanel when it comes to bags anyway bout hey ho.

Topshop unique aw12

I'm always somehow drawn to topshop unique. They always seem to design things exactly the way I want them, like ss12 I loved the golds and motifs and they were just as stunning when they arrived in store not too long ago.
With this collection I quite love that warehouse look, the dark moody colours and the way you can throw almost any of the pieces together quite easily.
The dark greens/ greys are trending for autumn winter and I can see it being a very easy look to achieve.
Its not even summer yet and to be honest we haven't spotted spring yet but I can't wait for autumn/ winter.

Favourite look though would have to be in the last image with the model wearing the dark green knit, shorts and THAT hat, I'm so in love with that look its military but not. I dunno yum.
