I got this to use as a treadmill desk (with a narrow treadmill slid underneath), and so far it’s working perfectly. It was easy enough to assemble — just be sure to look closely at the instructions so the pieces are all facing the right way. I’m about 6’1″, so I was worried the desk might not be tall enough while I’m standing on a treadmill, but it’s just fine. At the highest I was comfortable putting the top surface, it’s just tall enough to put the keyboard tray about even with my elbows.

It seems like quite a well-made desk, and is solid and sturdy. It wobbles a little on soft carpet, but doesn’t seem at any risk for falling over.

My one complaint (which isn’t enough to dock a full star from my rating) is that the sliding keyboard tray slides in too easily. There’s some resistance to prevent it from sliding out by accident, but once it’s out it glides back and forth with the slightest pressure. I ended up just leaving the tray in most of the time and putting my hands under the top desk to type, but it’s slightly annoying. Also, as others have mentioned, it’s not wide enough for both a full-size keyboard and mousepad. I have the mouse on the top surface, so the keyboard is alone on the sliding tray (also, that allows the main part of the keyboard to be centered, with the numpad to the right).

On the whole, I’m quite satisfied.

Overall it’s been working great. i love that it’s keyless chuck because i’m terrible with chuck. the drill bits that i bought to use with a drill press/milling machinese are interchangable with the drill which is a bit plus because i don’t have to waste more money on more drill bits. the power is decent. the only complain i would have would be that it doesn’t actually stand like the picture–the top is too heavy. but laying it down completely isn’t so bad. overall i’d say it’s a good purchase especially for its price–most drills are $50+ and brands like milwaukee which might be more beautiful in colour and may have more features which cost $300. i’d rather not spend that much with the drill is for much smaller work. as long as it functions and drills it’s all good

When I first got this chair, I’ll admit that I was very skeptical. Though I had decided to give it a try, I really didn’t think I would like it. So I did what any cheapskate would do – I saved the box to use for shipping the chair when I finally got sick of it and sold it to some poor fool on ebay. After nearly three months of use, however, I’m keeping the chair and throwing the box away!

Setting up the chair is easy. Blow up the ball, snap in the wheels, follow the instructions for the little ball retainer bar. It’s not hard. You’ll have to top off the air a couple times in the first week or two, and after that you should be good for a while.

Even from the beginning, the chair was comfortable to sit in at first. It’s a firm seat and it nearly forces you to sit up straight rather than slouching. In the beginning, though, I would gradually grow uncomfortable and finally switch to another regular chair that I kept handy. After about a month, though, I just stopped needing to switch chairs. One day I finally realized that I was sitting in this thing all day, every day, with no discomfort at all. Now I’ve been using the yoga ball chair for months have nothing but good to say about it.

Does it help with lower back issues? This seems to be the big question and was my main reason for buying the chair in the first place. I’m 28 years old, 5′ 9″, 170 lbs and for the most part in pretty good shape. In the last several years, however, I’ve had several bouts with severe lower back pain. My pain never seemed to be caused by a specific injury. Rather, it would typically just start bothering me and progressively get worse until I took a trip to the doctor for some muscle relaxers. I spend a lot of time sitting at a desk, and I know that an inappropriate chair and poor posture were part of my problem. Since using the balance ball chair, my core is stronger and it has been months since I’ve had any kind of back trouble. I also have found that my back is more tolerant of other uncomfortable chairs and beds as a result.

Couldn’t be happier. This is a fantastic desk lamp with one of those “daylight” bulbs. It’s bright, doesn’t take up a lot of space, touch on and off works perfectly, no flickering, and it swivels. I own 5 of these and take them on trips where there is water to play in. This is by far the best float you will own. What is nice is they are easy to blow up and they fold to a compact size, if you can figure out how to fold them (very difficult.) Because they are difficult to re-fold (the folding instructions are very poor) I generally just give them away at the end of my trip.

I purchased the Lafuma XL for my husband. He loves the chair. The chair is slightly larger than the regular Lafuma. My husband is 5’10 and has a thin build. His legs are longer and the extra length on the XL chair fits him best. He looks like an adult sitting in an oversized high-chair. I noticed an extra bar on the XL that is not on the regular Futura chair. The bar is located under the leg section and does not lock. We haven’t figured out its purpose yet.

When the chair arrived, it came in a oversized brown box that was slighly damaged. The chair was unharmed. The chair didn’t come with any packaging information, just a Lafuma tag. The reclining part was a big stiff compared to the regular Lafuma Futura chair. When I sat in the chair, at 5’6″ my feet did not touch the ground.

We took two of these water hammocks on our 3 week vacation to Bali and loved them. They are light, easy to inflate (only the outer ring inflates so it’s not much effort) and the best part is that much of your body is in a layer of cool water as opposed to inflatable mattresses where you lie mostly above the water. We took them in each pool that we encountered and loved them. They are pretty easy to fold up, but it helps to have long arms to fold them properly, thus only 4 stars instead of 5. They pack flat, so they are easy to put in a suitcase or duffle.
