Typing Skills

Do you know your typing speed? Your typing speed depends upon your familiarity in a computer keyboard. I learned to type when I was in 2nd year high school. I started on a type writer. Typing in a computer keyboard is quite easy compared to a type writer because you have to make an effort in pressing letters in the typewriter. At first you may find it hard because you have to locate all the letters and numbers however if you get familiarize to it you'll find it more interesting and challenging.

I trained myself to type accurately and efficiently. I exerted effort on the proper keys for each fingers. If you are novice in typing, you need to make sure that the letters are pressed by the correct fingers. I was glad that I have a typing speed of 45 wpm and I am still aiming to increase my words per minutes. What is the benefit of having an excellent typing skills? When you have an good typing speed you'd be able to accurately finish your task. It is beneficial when you are writing an article using wordpad because you can record whatever you have in mind.

Laptop and a Camera in the Province

Christmas is interesting in the province especially if you are with your family and relatives. What I love most is that I can spend long hours of rest and sleep. The place is quite, safe, pollution-free, nature friendly, and most of all fresh air. However, staying in the province for a long time without any gadgets is sometimes boring.

We spent our Christmas in the Dumanjug province and I think we'll be back in the province again by new year. I had an excellent time with all the singing, movie marathon, sleep ZzZzz, etc.. We brought with us a laptop and a camera so that we will be able to update our blogs and check our emails facebook. Although we weren't really able to check the internet often during those time due to the limited internet prepaid load.

We had a lot of pictures during christmas eve. It's like a documentation of what we did on those days. We took pictures everywhere and find it interesting because of the beautiful landscape. At night, we were able to capture an orbs. My nieces were scared but I assured them that it's just a captured shots and its not gonna do anything.

Fireworks and firecrackers are the most common words in Christmas. A lot of people in Cebu want to celebrate Christmas with excellent foods & delicacies, new clothes & gift items, trumpet, fireworks, firecrackers, etc.. Basically, everyone wants to create noise during these days.

Here in Cebu, there are already many street vendors selling firecrackers, fireworks and others. This seasonal products really help these vendors earn extra money for their needs.

However, we, as a customer cannot be certain that these items are totally safe. It is also our responsibility to make sure that safety and harmless environment be assured.

In most cases, after the Christmas holidays, it is expected that a lot of people will be admitted in the hospital because of mishandled firecrackers. Some of these people may probably loss a finger. Why? It is because these firecrackers may explode before they gonna throw it or lighted it up and forgets to throw. Just keep and play safe.

Early or Shifting Work Schedule

Have you experience working in a night shift schedule or so early work schedule? If not, you are so lucky and if yes I am sure that you understand the challenge on reporting to work. For most BPO companies here in the Philippines its operation is 24/7. What does that mean? It simply mean that business works in day and night including weekends. It doesn't mean that an employee is bar from having 1 or 2 rest days. The most common rationale behind is that this Business process outsourcing companies or BPO companies are catering most on foreign customers. In their timezone is daytime while for us it's nighttime.

Working on an early schedule/night shifting schedule is a big deal for the beginners. They have to adapt and get accustomed to their new routine. Some might feel it tiring or disappointing but when you get used to it, you'll be able to make used of your time. I am sure that for most of us, waking so early like 4 in the morning is somewhat annoying. And how would you deal with night shifting schedule? For me lots of sleep in the morning or daytime but if it doesn't work then more coffee will do. lol. It is true that more people cannot sleep during daytime merely because it's noisy outside, sleeping rhythm, temperature, distractions and etc.. However, to address this issue you just need to have balance time management.

Christmas party is the most common events here in Cebu. It can either be a family christmas party, business associate christmas party, employee christmas party, etc.. This month is the most lively because of the christmas event. Everyone is excited to do the shopping, giving gifts or receiving gifts, foods, fireworks, fire crackers, and a few adventures. When I was in High School we had an exciting Christmas party at School. What we did was to share the amount that we need to buy for foods and etc.. The most exciting part in the Christmas part was the exchanging of gifts. We are required to wrap a gift at a certain amount and exchange gifts with our "manito and manita". There was always an excitement in opening our gift. When I was in College, I enjoyed much on our Christmas Party because I was affiliated to different org and working in school office. So I was attending different Christmas party and I was expecting a lively christmas.

Christmas will not only be about christmas lights, christmas tree, gifts and parties but its about sharing a meaningful moment with our loved ones.

It is a good time for everyone to buy some grocery and shop for clothing, books, accessories, fashion items, etc. The malls are more busy on these days especially if the payday falls on Friday. It is expected that a lot of people will flood the mall. I am not only an Internet savvy person but I am also into movies. It is my past time hobby that entertains me, takes out my stress, makes me laugh and get thrilled. I enjoy movie most not because of how it presents but the quality of visual and audio.

I usually watch movie with a headset on except for when I'm in the theater. It is because I find it comfortable. I want to hear the slightest noise in the movie.

Mobile phones is one of the things that everyone should not miss in their pockets. It should not be left because you will miss meetings, gatherings and information from friends, family, or business transactions. Before it become a huge trend, mobiles phones are only use for call, then it evolves for text application, gaming, music, movies, and others. Personally I have used a couple of phones. Some were broken while others were lost or stolen. For me mobile phone is very useful for calls and texting but I'm not much on texting. It is necessary for me nowadays because I used it for my job hunting. Prospect employers will call my number that is why I keep my line open all the time. I hate when it gets lowbat.

In my pocket, I usually have my phone, pen, keys, and coins. Other things are OK if I forgot to bring it but without phones I could go dumb and unreachable..LOL..

Christmas is in the air. I am absolutely sure that Cebuanos are excited to celebrate this long holidays. A time where we can spend our lazy days with our family.

Here in Cebu, several Christmas decors are already hanging in houses and parks. Cebu christmas lights are one of the best here in the Philippines. In Fuente Osmena circle, numerous christmas lights are lit up every night while a gigantic Christmas tree is still under construction. In Cebu City, you can also see faces of joy and excitement among cebuanos.

Kids will be the most happiest and excited when christmas comes because they are expecting something special from their aunt and uncle, ninong and ninang, older sister and brother, mom and dad. In school, school children will be having their christmas party and the exchanging of gifts. It is a fun and memorable experience.

After the Christmas celebration, Cebu will be celebrating the SINULOG FESTIVAL It will fall by the 3rd sunday of January each year.

2012 movie

Yesterday I had watched a movie entitled 2012 in SM Cinema Cebu City. It was starred by John Cussack and Amanda Peet. It was a great movie am I'm sure everyone will enjoy.

Although it was not on my plan to watch the movie but I decided to watch it because I had to standby for a couple of hours. The mere reason was that I left my key at home and I can't get in so I waited my board mate for a couple of hours.

In the movie house, there were also many people watching the movie. The sound effect inside the theater was so excellent, a kind of heart pounding in its thrilling part. You cannot expect what will happen next so the best that you should do is to sit tight and attentively focus the movie. Inside the theater was really cold. I think the air-conditioned was so high but I was able to transfer a sit in the middle.

In Cebu, Friday and Saturday nights are always an exciting night for most. For the students, Fridays mark the end of long, tiry and lazy school days. It is their best time to hang out with their friends, watch movies, spend an hour or two in the mall, etc. I am certain that in these nights there are always a meaningful experience among the group of friends.

Furthermore, for most office workers, Saturday night is the best time for them to relax and enjoy the company of their friends. They don't need to worry if they get up late in the following day anyway it's rest day (Sunday). It is also an excellent time to visit your province for a day.

The most common place that everyone can enjoy the nights in these days are in Mango, Paseo, etc. Most of the time these places always gets the night goers.

After the Weekend

Weekends are the most awaited days for me because it is the time that I sleep and rest properly without thinking of any worries. For most of my friends and acquaintance they usually spend their weekends with their family. Going to malls, spend an hour at parks, in the beach, or have a peaceful hour in the church or prayer room.

I am certain that Mondays are one of the lazy days that everyone will experience. We will all miss the long hours idle and relaxing moment. Of course for the workers, it is always exciting when Friday comes.

Usually after the weekend, everyone seems to always reminisce the happenings over the weekend. We talked about it a lot and share with our friend the exciting moment over the weekend.

I want to make use of this site to share with my reader a very interesting things about Cebu. I am sure that you will all like it. I titled it "Cebu Travel" and its url is cebutravel.info. I hope you will visit it sometime. However, right now it is under confirmation, evaluation and review with its hosting. I think it would be available after a day or two.

I am planning to put in this website several places that everyone will enjoy visiting. I am also planning to include the Tourists Spots in Cebu and its historical landmark. Cebu is one of the best tourists’ destinations in the Philippines. It has unmatched natural beauties that really attracts foreign and local travellers.

Cebu Tops is located in the hill of Busay, Cebu. It is 2000ft. above sea level. Cebu Tops is one of the best places that everyone should visit. It is located in the top most of the mountain. From there, you can see the whole Cebu City, the buildings, traffic and the skyline of Cebu.

I last visited the Cebu Tops for over 4 years now. It was my first time and I was really amazed with the views and how different it was when you are in the top seeing everything below. It is best to visit in Cebu Tops in the late afternoon while the sun is setting. You can really feel the cool breeze. There is always calm and good ambiance in this place.

Getting there is a bit problematic though because there are only few modes of transportation available. If you have your own car, jeepneys, or muticab it’s just so easy. However, if you are going to commute to arrive there, Motorcycle (habal habal) is ok but you should be careful because the road is so incline to 45 degrees. Of course the fare is a bit higher than normal. I am certain that you won’t regret visiting there.
