Cosmetic surgery has come a long way, and it has been the ultimate segue to emphasize beauty, or, in fact just a way to feel a whole lot better about some physical attribute that is bothersome or ugly to an individual. Both men and women think about having it done at one time or another in their lives; in fact, recent polls show that one out of 5 of the population do think about it. That is a phenomenal number.
I had the pleasure of sitting in at a presentation given by Dr. Richard Sadove, Associate Professor of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida, a presentation given to plastic surgeons. For the past 20 years, beauty guru Sandra Taylor-Furst has been making women look salon-perfect through the use of radiant color, impeccable cuts, and her own signature brand of styling.
