This morning I am getting ready to head over to the flea market. Got lots of Ruff Ruff Treats and Artwork to sell.

I want to share with you one of my favorite bible passages. It is one that I read daily, it helps me understand that there is more to "this" life and keeps me focused on what is important.

Don't Worry

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Well, here it is Thursday already. What a week it has been. Cold and snow. Broken tooth......which ended up being a trip to the dentist and having it pulled. So I really haven't accomplished much today except for finding this great Christian musician, Matt Brady. I just happen to run across him a ReverbNation. I did get to go up and help Mike unload for God's Abundance Market and Cafe (click on the link and check it out). I don't think I will make it up there tonight to help out. Gonna go take some more aspirin and just kind of relax for the evening. Hope you have a great day and give Be The Clay a listen........you'll really like it.

Meet Oddball, our tan Terrier mix.......mixed with what I'm not sure. We adopted her from the Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter. She is a fun loving cuddle master. The only problem with her is she likes to steal the covers at night :)

Welcome to my blog. I am new to a little town in Georgia called Clayton. My family and I actually came up here camping. We fell in love with the area and the people were great, so we decided to stay.I am a webmaster by trade, a handyman by necessity, and a photographer for the sheer enjoyment of it. Since we have settled down I have been working on building up my business but have been doing a multitude of different handyman jobs. It's been paying the bills and I kind of enjoy it.

I love the outdoors. Camping, backpacking, fishing, and all. That is probably one of the biggest draws for me. Living in the Chattahoochee National Forest is like a dream come true. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and trails I might not get much work done.

Since we have settled here we have made some great friends and most important a great church. Doing the Lord's work has always been an important part of my life. NewLife Community Church has a great outreach program.

I will be updating the blog a few times a week. I want to chronicle our life here and share with you some of the great things we discover.

As I close out this post allow me to share a photo of the Tallulah River. This shot was taken near our campsite.
