As I sit here and ponder over the last year, and everything that has taken place, all I can do is shake my head at the madness of the outcome of this case. Today has been one year since I drove over to Earth Services and handed Jamie that book to give to Mrs. Terpening. I never expected that I would have been involved in this scandal the way I ended up.

I remember sharing the story when I saw it come down my news feed, with a comment similar to, "Why is the state taking children from one parent and giving them to others just to abuse them more." My friend, Gina, sent a private message on Facebook, telling me to reconsider my comment. She said she knew Terpening for years, and she just couldn't see how he could have done the things that people of accusing him of.

I also thought of bio-mom and what she had said to me earlier on. As I said before, I was already familiar with Earth Services. Everything I heard from the bio-mom to the five adopted kids was a thumbs up. She really liked Mike and Mrs. T., and really believed her kids were in a better place. She even showed me the Earth Services website and showed me pictures of the Terpenings and the horses and farm. Her kids looked HAPPY.

So, I erased my comment. But, I was still skeptical. And, while I know the courts can be crooked, at times, something serious happened in a bad way for this to hit the media like it did, not to mention what the charges actually were.

Then, I see the victim on TV, his hands in his pocket, his eyes downcast and elusive. He was telling the reporter he just wanted out of the facility, and that they lied on Terpening. I was flabbergasted. What the hell was going on down there at Earth Services.

I cannot fathom why Terpening welcomed me into the group so quickly. Yeah, I was his neighbor at that time. Yes, I had a few previous encounters with him. But, I cannot say I knew him. I told him my feelings about child sexual abuse and that I was against it. He knew what the scoop was. Yet, he still let me in. I guess, looking back, he knew what was up and was willing to use and manipulate anyone he could to get what he wanted.

See, Terpening got caught up in so many lies, that he got caught in them on his own. Even before the assistant attorney general took over the case, I had already been aware of some lies Terpening told me that I figured out later on. I never called him out on them, but I definitely made a mental note of it. Towards the end, I had so many bad feelings about the case and knew something wasn't right. I wanted to turn away but couldn't bring myself to do it until I had a good reason.

And, some of the lies Terpening told were stupid, petty lies. Like, when my ex-husband told me about a time Terpening went through his fence with his truck and did damage. Terpening was drinking at the time of the accident. He said he'd be back to fix the fence and never came back to keep his word. Let's not talk about what the vet's office had to say about his current bill with them...lol.

Terpening is a pathological liar and maybe even believes his own lies, I don't know.

I have never been involved with anything serious in the court systems, except for my own troubles, which I took responsibility for and didn't take to trial. But, there's a major difference between a DUI with a 0.10 BAC and someone molesting kids. I don't like police, courts, judges. It's nothing personal, it's just intimidating.

And, I have never been around something so dark. I cannot explain the feeling of darkness that I had many times, especially right after the fire at the big house where Terpening's sister was living. Jamie tried to contact me, but I was knocked out and didn't hear my phone ring or see her messages online. The next morning, she made contact with me and told me about the fire.

Why was the first thought I had think about Terpening and that he had something to do with that fire? And, then to find out about the other fire on Huff Road in a different house of his, a week before the big fire? No way those fires were coincidental.

I got tired of the constant phone calls, which were causing serious tension where I was living. I got tired of the little kid drama with Katie. I got tired of the constant phone calls from Jamie about the victim (who I was becoming pretty good friends with). Jamie didn't like dealing with him much and would push it on me.

But, I didn't mind dealing with the victim. I had my own relationship growing with him, and who would have thought he'd stay with me for awhile, much less still be friends? Or, open up to me? Or spend a lot of time around me doing some pretty awesome things? It was impossible (still is) not to care about that kid.

If people looked back, it really was never about Terpening as much as it was for the victim. One thing I learned is that you listen. It's not my position to judge truth from fiction, if the victim says what is is what is, supporting the victim is #1.

I truly hope things settle down. I will be glad when all of these cases are over. It would be a wonderful thing if everyone involved could just move on and be done with all this, but it won't happen. The problem with this entire family is not just the fact that Terpening was molesting and abusing these kids. His entire family is made of abusers. You got two sisters who beat people up who try to press charges against him. You have Jamie providing a front of 'love' to manipulate victims into recanting their stories. You have Jamie's husband, a violent felon, who was recently arrested for domestic violence. You have Terpening's father threatening to kill or assault witnesses, even in front of the courthouse. There are family and former friends who stepped up and told the truth, to do the right thing, who have been shunned and disregarded like trash. There are Terpening's online supporters, Laura, Katie, and Susie, who have done there share of abusing and slandering others online.

The fact is, it's all talk. Granted, there is always a chance that anything could happen. But, I believe the bark is worse than the bite. They are used to using their mouths to threaten and slander people, just to intimidate others from speaking the truth.

The AG was right. This was not a one-time mistake made by a man who feels sorry for his actions and has remorse. This was a pedophile's empire, ran and operated by the volunteers, employees of Earth, and family members. Aside from the ones that came forward and spoke the truth, the rest are equally responsible for the downfall of Earth and the direction it has caused the victims' lives to turn. While they may not be held accountable for their actions in a court of law, I do know one thing.

The blood of those victims dirties the hands of each and every person who tried to help Terpening operate his 'pedophile playland.'

New Law Prohibits Sexual Contact between Foster Parents and their Foster Kids

On a positive note, one good thing that did result from the multiple cases against Michael Terpening is that a new law is being implemented in Michigan that prohibits foster parents from having sexual relations with their foster children, even if the child is over the legal age of consent, 16 years of age.

Foster parents will now be held to the same level of standards as are teachers, pastors and priests, school bus drivers, athletic coaches, and others in positions of authority.

When Senator Rick Jones heard about these cases and how many charges Terpening could not be brought against him because of the current laws, he introduced this legislation to protect other foster children, current and future.

For the victims and witnesses in this case, I have one things to say: lift your hand above your head, now bend your elbow and touch the back of your shoulder, now give it a pat. This is good news!

Terpening's New Home: Prison

Terpening has been moved to state prison in Jackson and assigned an inmate number, which will be his new name. That number is how we will be identified during his incarceration in prison: #859537. Terpening's inmate profile has been set up, which also included this picture.

He will continue to fight in family court, the insurance fraud trial, and the 1st degree criminal sexual conduct case. The next CSC trial is the one that is going to hurt him the worst if he is convicted of those charges. It has been made very clear by Terpening, his family, and supporters that the fight is still on.

Terpening's own aunt, Jamie Moore-Bell was charged in the insurance fraud case and was originally facing possible felony charges. She pleaded no contest in exchange for a misdemeanor charge. How this will work out for Terpening remains to be seen, but he is still fighting the charges, despite Moore-Bell's plea.

The next scheduled court date is for January 15, 2013, which will be held in family court.

The Followers' Will Never Learn

After 19 months of witness tampering, verbal abuse to witnesses and victims, and attempts at ruining people's reputations with their online antics, the Terpening Followers have made it very clear that the fight for Twerp is not over. I understand supporting those you love, but not in the way they have been doing it.

Many people involved with this case continue to be subjected to verbal abuse from certain family members of Terpening's. As much as I am ready to take down this blog (we all were hoping to be able to), this just continues. It's like a never-ending roller coaster ride of HELL.

Terpening tried to throw his own sister under the bus instead of taking responsibility for his own actions. Does this sound like a loving brother who truly cares for and loves his family? I think not. This is a very self-centered individual who only looks out for his selfish needs.

And, honestly, all the 'good' that Terpening has done does not deliver him from all the 'bad.' Just because he put on a show of 'goodness' that allowed him to have such a wall of support does not negate the fact that he has caused serious, irreparable damage to many people, damage they have to carry for the rest of their lives. Terpening has become accustomed to getting what he wants from people, through his manipulation and lies.

So, what took place in court the day of sentencing was no surprise, his begging and demanding the judge to give him what he thinks he is entitled to, an easy sentence. As he cried, begged, and pleaded, not once did he say, "I'm sorry. I committed these crimes. I sexually abused these kids." And THAT is one major reason why the judge departed from the sentencing guidelines and sentenced him with what she did. There is no help available for someone who cannot admit their wrongdoings. The first step in getting help is admitting the truth.

The Followers' antics with manipulating the witnesses, the courts, the media, and their supporters also played a hand in the sentencing that Terpening has received.

At what point do the Followers wake up and realize that they are hurting Terpening's case? No one believes in his innocence anymore, and I'm sure a few supporters are having second thoughts about their original beliefs in this case.

And, it's sad the Followers aren't smart enough to figure this out. They are sealing Terpening's 'coffin', so to speak. With the 1st degree CSC trial still pending, which will carry more time in prison if he's convicted, it would seem like they would just shut up and stop fighting everyone. Do they REALLY want to risk the judge departing from the sentencing guidelines in that trial, too, if that can happen?

Michael Terpening is Sentenced

Today, Michael Terpening was sentenced for the sex crimes he was recently convicted of. Many people showed up to support Terpening. A few of his supporters wrote letters to the court, pleading for Michael's return.

The assistant attorney general, Angela Povilaitis, gave a disturbing summary of Terpening's case, focusing on the fact that he is a sexual predator, that he groomed his victims, and had a long history of sexually abusing others, dating back almost 15 years.

Povilaitis points out, clearly, that Terpening purposely and intentionally requested troubled youth, who had been sexually abused or were difficult to place. Some of the residents were court-ordered to go to Earth Services. Terpening was in authority. He had control of the boys' money, extra-curricular activities, and whether or not they passed the program at Earth and went to jail.

Judge Amy McDowell was not overly interested in the letters from Terpening's supporters; although she did take the time to read them. Judge McDowell departed from the sentencing guidelines and sentenced 10 to 15 years in prison. She directly addressed Terpening by telling him that he was a danger to the community. He was entrusted with the kids by the State of Michigan. He manipulated everyone: the courts, his family and friends, his supporters, and witnesses and victims in this case for his own selfish actions. He instructed an employee to clean certain places with bleach, places where the assaults happened, but the employee slacked off on that order. DNA evidence supports a victim's testimony.

Terpening specifically was searching for residents who had been sexually abused and were difficult to place. According to a family member of the biological mother of the five kids Terpening adopted, he originally only wanted the two boys; however, the biological mother wanted them kept together and did not want them split up. She wanted Terpening to take all five of them or get none of them. So, he took all five and adopted them.

Terpening's money is gone now, and he will have to rely on court-appointed attorneys to handle the rest of the pending cases. Kent County officials were also in court Thursday, because that is where the insurance fraud case is being handled. They gave Terpening an opportunity to plea in that case, and he refused. He intends to appeal Judge McDowell's sentence against him and continue fighting the rest of these charges. It is insane for him to think, at this point, he has a chance in hell of turning any of this around now. The best thing he can do is man up to his actions, because until he does, NO psychological care will work on him. Part of getting help is admitting to your mistakes.

And, what a surprise...Terpening showed no emotion before and after the court proceedings, but he sure did put on an emotional display of tears and grief as he begged Judge McDowell to allow him to go to a program that could have him back on the streets in a year's time. He talked about his wife and kids and how much he loves them. He whined about others in lockup with him, who have been approaching him in the shower and rubbing against him (never mind he did the same thing to the kids, so it's good he's learning firsthand what victimization actually feels like).

In the end, it was still all about Terpening. He has no remorse for his actions, swearing up and down that the judge will never seem him back in court again. He said the last 19 months away from his family have been like prison for him. All I can say is BOO HOO! Imagine how those kids were feeling in the Twerpophile prison with all the crazies around them.

Karma is a bitch. Terpening thought he could get away with whatever he wanted, like not paying his veterinarian for services provided to him, driving drunk through the neighbor's fence and not fixing it after saying he would, and driving out of town with the sole intent of committing assault against the much-hated web guy.

It's very obvious Terpening thinks he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, with no concern or regard to his wife and kids. Those days are over, now. And, as Povilaitis said,

...he's had many, many chances.

Now what happens? No one knows, yet. There are so many 'maybes' and 'what ifs' that all we can do is sit back and watch it unfold.

Terpening is Guilty!

Terpening was found guilty on 8 counts of CSC and taken to jail. Sentencing is Dec. 13 at 8:15.

Even after the evidence in this case proved that Terpening was, in fact, guilty, that is not enough for some to let this go. Instead of letting it go and helping Terpening's family heal, the Followers continue to perpetuate the abuse of Terpening, even as he is sitting in a jail cell.

I was not surprised, after falling asleep in the middle of working on the computer last night, to wake up and find the comments of the Followers at Rob's site.

The Followers have threatened Rob, me, and others they think are involved in bringing forth the truth. They didn't go as far as to threaten the victims, because there is no point. We already know how they handled the witnesses in this case (tearing them apart, posting their full legal names online, showing fake 'love' to one of the victims to get him to recant, and the list goes on).

Yes, I said fake 'love.' Jamie seems to forget that the only time she had anything nice to say about the victim was when she wanted something from him. Nice to his face, but always talking crap when not face to face with him. I haven't forgotten, day after day, "Jennifer, call R, Jennifer would you go spend time with R, Jennifer R is driving me nuts and I don't want to be bothered by him. Do something Jennifer!"

Yeah, Jamie, I'm talking to and about you. You know exactly how many times you dodged the same R this last year instead of trying to help him. You know how you pushed him to the side when he wanted to end his life. Where were you when that happened? Not helping him, because once again, I went running to the rescue. And, Katie flipping him off in the courtroom? Is THAT what witnesses deserve to experience? Because YOU Followers are so extremely abusive?

And, unless Mrs. Terpening moves away from Bellevue to start over a LONG WAYS AWAY from you twisted people, then the state should intervene in the future abuse that her children will have to endure at the hands of Terpening's family. Terpening being locked up will not help his own children, as long as they have to be surrounded by the Terpening blood.

And, yes, my post will definitely piss off a few measly, non-important people in Barry County. Honestly? I don't care. I find it sad that the Followers feel the need to harass a web site with threats directed at specific people. But, it shows the TRUE COLORS of these people, definitely.

Obviously, I'm not going to add all the treats and comments of abuse, but this is what to expect the day after the verdict is read? And, some of us were looking forward to this being over. But, truthfully, I'm not worried. It takes a real coward to post under anonymous names, because they don't want anyone to know who they really are. But, the group of Terpening supporters is small now, and still led by the top Followers, Jamie Moore Bell, Susan Ward Gillihan, and Miss Katie Rucinski (who is packing a powerful weapon with that middle finger of hers).

The Terpening group has no respect. After the verdict was read, Miss Katie flipped off the victim TWICE. Miss Crazy Aunt (I believe the one who stuck her tongue out at victims last year) had to be restrained by family after she attempted to go after a reporter. And, it is respect for bystanders in a courtroom to stand for the judge and jury, both when they enter and leave. When the jury left the courtroom, not one Terpening nut stood up. I guess the entire family is above the law and none of them should have to follow it. Hence, the reason they have spent YEARS covering up for a pedophile.

Does Terpening really care about his family? Two house fires a week apart, one being the house his own sister lived in? I don't believe those fires were accidents, nor does anyone else. If Terpening was behind those fires, that's a great way to show how much he loves his own sister, isn't it? Destroy all her stuff and kill her cat, yup...the family love just continues.

So, I guess I have to spend an unimaginable amount of time fighting back to the revenge of the Followers. And, that's ok, because I feel they all deserve to be right where Terpening is for helping him to get away with his crimes.

Hanging out in Hastings...

Mmmm...thank you for breakfast. It was good. I feel better. Nothing like a Sausage McMuffin with egg.

So, now we wait. Jury is in deliberations as we speak. I have not been into the courthouse. Yet. Coffee, food, everyone wanted something. He decided McD's, since they have free wi-fi, and of course, I brought one of my computers. No way am I letting Twerp keep me from working today, that's the cool part about laptops...lol.

Anyway, now we just wait for news. We could be here for awhile. The Terpening Followers are still up to there usual crap, even as we speak, threatening, trying to contact victims. What's up with that? At what point to they just say enough is enough? I agree, family is family, and we support each other and still love them. It's one thing to support, it's another to lie about others, threaten people in parking lots, and doing the stare-downs and the dirty looks, because honestly, it doesn't phase me. I am not easily intimidated. I get great humor out of the idiocies of the low-lifes who have helped Terpening. It just the true nature of the entire family, full of secrets and terrible behaviors in the dark that has wrecked many lives of these victims.

So, as I wait to hear the verdict, I have one thing to say. There are people in this case, aside from Terpening, who I believe should be held accountable for their actions in this case, and I'm not just talking about the Followers. Any staff, anyone on the 'Neanderthal food chain', all of them. In some way, they played a hand in Twerp's success in molesting those boys.

And, I will also say while I feel sorry for Terpening's children (having been around them, it's hard not to get a little attached to them), Michael Terpening caused this all. The affects on people's lives that have been rocked or shaken by this case, today is the day.

His fate will be known. And, to Joe...good luck buddy...

Terpening's Wife Testifies

It really is unfortunate that Mrs. Terpening has decided to continue covering for her husband, seeing as she still has to go to family court to establish whether or not they will be removing her 8 children from her care. Her testimony revealed that she became involved in sexual relations with Terpening at the location where his DNA was found with Resident A's DNA. She testified the napkin found with Terpening's DNA was used to clean himself after the two of them were done 'playing.'

There is one problem with Mrs. Terpening's testimony. If what she said about the napkin found in the garbage (according to Brian's statement) is true, then her DNA would have been found, as well, and it was not.

Why in the world would she continue to support Terpening in lieu of the family court trial? If she is charged with perjury, this could seriously interfere with her chance to keep her children.

So, what's the deal? Is she afraid? Has she been threatened by Terpening? Or, is she supporting him on her own free will?

Maybe the thought of raising 8 kids alone, as she has been doing for over a year, is too much for her? If Terpening is found guilty, he is facing life in prison. Raising children, with no help or child support from the other parent, is extremely difficult to do alone.

I guess we just wait, and see what happens.

Terpening is also scheduled to testify on his own behalf today, as he tries to testify to the same story his wife has.

Back in Court

I was called in to testify yesterday against Michael Terpening. I wasn't in court long, about 15 minutes on the witness stand.

The questioning was limited and Angela wanted to focus on Terpening's comment to have Rodney continuing lying after finding out that Rodney admitted to me the recant was a lie. They addressed Jamie Moore Bell's pressure to influence Rodney and have contact with him (witness tampering?). When Angela asked me about Rodney's admission regarding the recant, defense attorneys were quick to object, which Judge McDowell sustained based on 'hearsay.'

Defense attorneys had nothing worthwhile to ask in the cross-examination. They are trying to show Rodney as a pathological liar, even though his behavior is typical of sexual abuse victims. They asked me questions about smoking marijuana (which has nothing to do with this case, anyway). I believe that they are trying to discredit me because of my personal recreational habits. The only question the jury asked me was if I possessed a medical marijuana card.

Both defense attorneys were quite irritated and 'huffy', so to speak. Were they just irritated (I would be if I were them)? Or, is that how defense attorneys act to try to intimidate witnesses? If the second is the case, then Terpening selected well to suit the type of man he truly is.

It would seem like Terpening would take the plea deal, now that the DNA results came back. Up to 10 years is better than life...

Terpening Has Little Support after DNA Evidence is Revealed

Michael Terpening in trial for multiple sex crimes

Information I received is that Michael Terpening does not have much support left in the courtroom. The Followers, so to speak, have been hanging out in a conference room and spending little time in the courtroom. They wander around outside or sleep in chairs. They become angry if other witnesses sit in the conference room they think is exclusively theirs, as was the case with Jamie Moore Bell. She had to be reminded that she was not allowed the victim, who was sitting in the room at the time.

Friday, in court, the assistant Attorney General, Angela Povilaitis, brought forward the DNA evidence that proves Brian, also known as Resident A at the House Next Door, was telling the truth in his statements. During the investigation, Brian led investigators to a spot where one sexual misconduct incident occurred with Terpening. He pointed to a spot where he alleged Terpening's DNA would be in the kitchen pantry of the house across the street from Terpening's home and Earth Services. He showed investigators the garbage can where a napkin was at, alleging it also had Terpening's DNA. According to his statements, Terpening had also given him a beer to drink and a cigar to smoke, which the remains were also in the garbage can. Brian's DNA were on those items, which corroborates the statements he provided all along, despite Terpening's malicious statements about him and the things he had others post on line about him, statements that later came up on a Google search about him.

When Terpening couldn't get the boys to drop the charges, he took the next step, similar to Jerry Sandusky, to tear apart the boys through lies that were posted online and statements made to his supporters that attacked them as people. These victims have been badmouthed, abused, molested, and hung out to dry. These victims were lied about and made out to be bad people to the public who have been watching this case evolve from a distance.

Trial resumes next week as more witnesses are called to testify.

Trial starts October 22

Contrary to popular beliefs, Terpening did not accept the plea deal as of yet. His first trial starts Monday October 22, 2012 in Barry County. Jury selection took place today.

Once this trial is over, he still has three more trials to go through for insurance fraud, 1st degree CSC, and family court.

The State of Michigan is seeking to terminate the parental rights of both Terpening and his wife for their eight children. Five of the children are adopted and the other three are their biological children.

What do Michael Terpening and Jerry Sandusky have in common?

During the last year and a half, since Michael Terpening was charged with numerous charges of sexual misconduct and insurance fraud, supporters, non-supporters, and the unsure have listened to his claims that he is innocent and that the charges against him were government corruption.

Terpening went as far as to release personal information, some which was never proven to be true, about the victims in these cases. He has pointed fingers at everyone else, instead of taking responsibility for his alleged actions. He badmouthed the victims, calling them liars, child molesters, and just downright troubled. He has stalked innocent people involved with this case, driving to out-of-town locations to check addresses. His actions resulted in a local blogger printing information about two of the victims, such as their full legal names and slander that had no proof that took a year to finally pull off the internet.

Terpening also violated his bond conditions repeatedly by having contact with one of the victims and by moving to a new address, undisclosed to the courts. He was arrested for bond violation in March 2012.

In his defense, Terpening has relied on a small group of people to help with his dirty work, abusing others who dared to stand in his way, people who adopted the name of 'Terpening Followers.'

Terpening has a large amount of supporters in this case, people that knew him for years before he opened The House Next Door who cannot believe he would be guilty of such heinous crimes. They see Terpening as a wonderful 'Christian' man who does nothing but help other people. They see him as a charming man (which, he is quite the charmer if you know him from a distance).

But, there is also displaced family members who know differently and a long list of victims who will never have their day in court.

Anyone paying much attention to the news? I'm sure you have heard about the Jerry Sandusky trial from Penn State. Sandusky was sentenced 30 to 60 years in prison for his crimes against students. He was a popular figure in the community, had a good reputation, worked consistently around children, and even adopted some children and did foster care.

Prior to sentencing, Sandusky and his wife sent letters to the judge in which he badmouthed the victims and called them liars, including his own adopted son, who came forward with allegations that Sandusky molested him, although he did not testify against his dad in court. Sandusky claimed government corruption and blamed the judicial system for his charges. He even blamed the media. At a time when he should be begging for mercy and showing remorse, Sandusky was cold and pointed vicious fingers at everyone and everything else.

The judge was not amused, and his actions in the letters and in the courtroom played a big part in his sentencing. When a criminal goes before a judge for sentencing, the judge wants to see remorse and guilt, or at the very least, for the defendant to own his/her actions. Either way, Sandusky will likely die in prison now.

That's a huge win for the victims of Sandusky.

Now, to follow through on Terpening's case. Will court bring a huge win for his alleged victims? I sure hope so. And I feel comfortable with a guilty verdict without having to wonder if the charges are really true or not. People talk on the internet, even the ones he made passes at...

Well, even though I didn't lie about smoking marijuana when I was on the witness stand at Terpening's bond violation hearing, I have been attacked repeatedly over this.

But, what is really starting to irritate me are the comments regarding Katie and how I brought weed to court (which is not true), and how I dropped it and had to look for it (which is also not true). Oh, let's not forget how I supposedly pressured her into doing it (not). Lies will catch up to you.

As you will now see, I couldn't get her off the subject of smoking weed at court. She kept going on and on about it. I did not pressure her in any way, and I don't appreciate the lies being told. If you are going to tell the story, TELL IT CORRECTLY!!

I am still trying to figure out how I peer pressured Katie as she was going on and on about how she could get weed, how she borrowed the weed money from of her dad but lied about it to him. Oh well. I know the truth. Just TELL THE TRUTH!!

I thought she quit smoking last year, that is what she said online. OOPS! So, again, for the record, so everyone knows, I do smoke marijuana. I never lied about it.

I guess it's like this: if the marijuana and plumbing are the only things that people have to continually whine about, then I guess it could be much worse.

Just a little something to stop the ignorance (yeah, right, that's not going to happen because of who we're talking about)...people are hell bent on saying I bought a house without plumbing and water. Correction, there was plumbing. We just replaced it ALL through the whole house, no plumbing worries for 30 years. Any more ignorant comments from the intelligent group that supports Terpening? They're just comments from the "Peanut Gallery" as far as I'm concerned.

As I said, I have no reason to lie. Terpening supporters are hell bent on getting on me about the same facts, over and over again. Yes, I bought a house that needs work. And? At least, it's mine, bought and paid for, with no mortgage. At least I'm not forced to stay with an abusive man who pushed me down in a doorway, who I chose to stay with, because he's my financial income (and rarely home, can't be that can you?). At least I'm not staying with an abusive man because I'm using him until I get my government funding to live. At least I'm not returning home to a man (or father) who makes me feel like nothing I do is ever good enough. Or, with a parent who expects them (their minor children) to pick up dead animals in their house. Or, with a husband who illegally sells prescription drugs (yeah, I saw the messages in one young man's phone).

Why am I saying this? Because no one has their life together 100%. Everyone has problems, issues, and struggles.

And, while everyone is having so much fun trashing Jennifer (over some information that has been severely twisted or is not true), not one of these people take a good hard look at what is going on in there own lives. Why? Because some people don't look at their own selves, much less the people they are close to. They think there is NO way that Terpening could have done this to these boys, which is what all this is really about.

My theory? They know, or suspect the truth. How can they not? I barely knew the guy, and I had my later suspicions, because of certain ways he acted. How did anyone working in the HND have any authority to work there? Why were they chosen work there? Because Terpening picked all his close friends and family to work there, people he knew would cover up certain actions through their blindness and devotion to their fearless leader.

And, instead of waking up and doing the next right thing each day, they spend their time DESTROYING other people. Destroying victims, all the witnesses in this case, their families, and other people who didn't want to be involved, maybe because they knew this was how Terpening supporters act. Why? What purpose is this serving?

Maybe, because in their own minds, they can't handle the guilt of their lack of actions in all of this, if he is truly guilty. I mean, if these charges are true, how could they not see it? How did they miss it? And, since most of the Terpening Followers are women, that means they have to face themselves in this and realize that they don't know everything. I mean, if I was in their shoes, delegated as someone to take care of those kids, I couldn't live with myself if these types of activities were going on under my nose, and knowing I might have failed to protect those youth.

Which leads me to believe one of two thing: they knew he was doing it, or they were not trained to see it for what it was. None of those people should have been working in that home. None of them were trained to work with troubled youth, not even Michael. I mean, he did lie about his college education.

And, despite the differences and the fighting that is going on, I find it difficult to believe that the supporters I have met since the first of the year actually support this type of behavior, what Terpening has been charged with. As much as the Followers want to cut me wide open, the truth is, I do not believe that they would have went along with it if they DID know about it when it was allegedly happening.

Has some events been humiliating and humbling? Absolutely! But, most of my life has already been gone over with a fine-tooth comb with my wonderful sponsor, a former pastor, as well as at the tables during meetings. I have my group of people who love me, unconditionally, and accept me for who I am. What more do I need? I am grateful for those people, because they serve a wonderful purpose...to remind me that my stepchildren and the Followers are full of crap.

Oh, let's not forget my grassy yard (which is actually half dirt, half grass in the front) and the excavators that did NOT come dig up my front yard (never mind these pictures were taken from my front porch).

Twerps Recruit My Ex-Stepchildren to Help Spread the Abuse of the Followers

I thought long and hard about this post, but seeing that my ex-husband's children and family have it in for me so bad that they have went as far as siding with the Terpening Followers to bash me, I thought I would have some fun with this one.

My ex-husband, Mark McLeod, is a neighbor to Terpening and his wife and has been for several years.

So, it was quite hilarious when I discovered the lies Mark's son, Mark Jr. has been telling the other side. Don't get me wrong, there is some truth to some of the things they say, but my ex-stepchildren love to add their own twists and lies to facts in order to play the "victim role", which is an unfortunate trait they picked up from their father.

So, I will elaborate more on this, for those intelligent people who love to deal with pathological liars. Yes, my marriage to Mark was extremely abusive. He is a narcissistic man who is 300% alpha-male, so to speak. I moved from Kalamazoo to Bellevue shortly before we got married. I was 13 years younger than him and very naive at that time. All my friends and family were back in Kalamazoo, and I was rarely allowed to even call my parents because Mark felt that phone bills were a waste of money. One of his favorite things to do was to lock up the phones on me, so I was isolated and had no contact with anyone.

Once the abuse began, it didn't take long to get out of hand. During my time with Mark, I became pregnant with a daughter. When I was almost six months along, his physical abuse triggered a series of events that caused me to lose my baby. After this happened, I was at my angriest in that relationship. Like a fool, I didn't report what happened because I knew he would be in big trouble.

Yes, one day when he was beating me, I tried to run to our bedroom and lock the door, but I could not get away from him. I pushed him to get him away from me, and he did take a tumble down the stairs. Do I feel bad about it? Not hardly. It was not my intent to push him down the stairs, but when you are defending yourself, unfortunate things can happen.

Once, when he was beating me, he grabbed me and had my head forced between my knees (I had been knocked to the floor and was in a sitting position). I couldn't breathe and felt great tension in my neck. In self-defense, I grabbed him by the testicles and twisted them as hard as I could. When he dropped to his knees, I did punch him in the nose, which did appear to be broken afterwards. My nose was never broken during our few, miserable years together.

And yes, I punched out the window. I was not living with Mark at the time, as I had my own apartment in Battle Creek. However, we were trying to work things out in our marriage. Yes, I was drunk that night (I am a recovering alcoholic). I had been at his house for a week, and to this day, I'm not sure what we were fighting about. I packed up what I had there into my car and had made a couple trips loading stuff up when he locked me out of the house. I was going to unlock the door, but he had taken my house key off my key chain. So, I punched the window out. In doing so, I sliced through an artery so badly that blood was shooting out of my hand to the beat of my pulse. My concern was not to go after my husband but to get to the hospital before I bled to death. I didn't even go back into the house. I remember him saying he was getting a blanket and taking me to the hospital, but by the time he returned to the door to leave, I was already gone in my car.

By the time I got to Bronson Battle Creek (formerly Battle Creek Health System), the inside of my car looked like someone had been murdered in it. Blood had shot across my windshield and dashboard, and there was a large puddle of blood in the passenger seat where I had rested my hand in route to the hospital. There was so much blood that hospital security would not move my car without covering everything up with hospital gowns and garbage bags.

And his kids? That is another joke. Because their mother died when they were little, Mark did not discipline them appropriately. He let them get away with murder, and the only time he disciplined them was when they angered him badly, at which point he would become abusive to them. They were allowed to talk to me as they chose, lie, and steal from me. He used them as tools to abuse my children and me. My children endured hell at the hands of Mark McLeod, and so did his.

I remember, once, picking up Tiffany (Mark's daughter) from a friend's house. I hit a deer with my car on the way home, and Mark beat the hell out of Tiffany for it. I heard her screaming in the bedroom, and he was sitting on top of her on the floor, choking her so hard, her face was turning blue. I tried to pull him off of her, but he went right back at her. To this day, I vividly remember the marks he left on her neck. The poor girl had to go to church that Sunday with what looked like hickies on her neck.

I also remember when Mark Jr. accidentally ran his cousin over with a riding lawn mower when they were around 9 years old. The kid was lucky he didn't lose his leg, but he did require some intense medical attention. When I returned home from going to the hospital with the cousin, Mark Jr. was in a t-shirt and underwear, and his dad beat him with a 1x4 wooden board for punishment of an ACCIDENT.

And, I will never forget the day my son (who was a toddler at the time) woke up crying in the middle of the night. Mark got out of bed and said he would handle it. I heard my son's crying become muffled, so I went downstairs to see what was going on, and Mark had a pillow across my son's face. Yeah, I beat the hell out of him for it. In a marriage like this, all I could think about was staying alive.

Why did I stay do long? For one, I had no place to go besides a homeless shelter. I also did not want to leave my ex-stepchildren alone with him. If I could have taken them with me, I would have. Looking back, I would have left him the first time he put his hands on me. But, I was a victim and knew nothing but abuse growing up. I tried to stay in Mark's kids' lives because their mother was gone.

The end of the marriage came the day that Mark came after me with an axe in front of my son. What scared me the worst was that my son appeared unaffected by what was happening in front of him. I knew it was time to get my kids out of there. Mark was arrested for a felony assault with a deadly weapon, as well as possession of marijuana that he had grown himself. The marijuana charges were dropped in a plea deal, and he served 45 days in the Barry County Jail, with six months to complete it.

And, as they say, birds of a feather flock together, and neither of Mark's children can think as individuals or alone or stand up to their father, so they recruit their cousins to become involved in their abuse towards me. Because I have one of my children up for adoption, everyone is saying I lost my kids, which is not true. I have custody of all my children (joint legal and physical of one and sole legal and physical of the other two), except for my adopted daughter. Not to mention, Mark Jr. is now friends with Jamie Moore-Bell and Katie Rucinski on Facebook.

This picture was taken of his Facebook wall on Sunday, after I was threatened by his cousin Thelma, who threatened to come to my house to fight me in a private message. She, just like the Twerpies, blocked me so I wouldn't see her IDLE threats. These messages happened after she threatened to come to my house and didn't show up. One thing all the Twerpies have fun with is the fact I gave my daughter up for adoption when she was born. I was only 18 and had one child already. I did not feel that I was in a good position in life to be trying to raise two children. So, I chose adoption, which was a far better decision than abortion (which I would never do). Thelma makes a comment about me getting burned by fire, but I have no idea what she is referring to. She is one of those types who has a very big mouth with no intent of backing it. Seriously, after being married to her uncle, I have learned there is little on this planet to be afraid of. As you can see, they have had a wonderful upbringing the way they have no respect for people.

Why would I go see Thelma? She has my address, and she is welcome to stop by. But, she won't. People like her run their mouths but can barely back their words.

As you can see, Katie likes this picture that Mark Jr. posted. Seems odd, after she cried and whined about how he treated her last winter when I introduced the two of them, that she would be talking to him again. It was so bad between the two of them that she almost called the police on him.

Later on, a few years after the divorce, Mark and I reconciled a friendship and even dated off and on for a couple years. He never was physically abusive towards me after his arrest, but he sure did make up for it with his mouth. I rented a couple rooms from him at the end of 2011, until I bought my house in March. Even though he had unlimited local and long distance on his phone, he still hid the phones from me, so it is not because of the phone bills he did that. He did it just to be an asshole. He was hiding the phones then because it was constantly ringing, one of the Terpening Followers and Terpening himself called frequently. He did not want me to be involved in this case while I was living at his house. Everything HAS to be about him.

All this, coming from an alleged "Christian" man who attends church regularly. He has a felony for abusing me but still drives kids to youth programs for his church.

But, thanks to my ex-stepchildren's non-stop running mouths, it has been revealed that there were video cameras hidden to spy on me (felony in Michigan) when I was staying with Mark the last time. I will let my lawyer handle this one.

I made contact with Mark Jr. in hopes of putting a stop to this crap, so I wouldn't have to go to my lawyer. Instead of being a reasonable 21-year old man, he lied to people and said I threatened to call the cops. After everything that has happened with this case, I am aware this is a civil issue, so why would I call the cops? This same man has had at least one Personal Protection Order against from females in his life. It could be expired by now, I don't know about that. He has a tendency to stalk girls and become verbally abusive with him, as Katie Rucinski discovered earlier this year when she was trying to date him.

And, the Twerpies are just as dumb to believe it all and re-post it online. They have me blocked so they can talk on Facebook about me, spread more lies, thinking I can't see. But, I have seen it all. But, that is to be expected of the Twerpies, as they thrive on any information they can use to abuse anyone not in support of Terpening. One Follower, Laura Underwood in particular, seems to be having great fun with the information she has received about me. I guess because she knew me when we were children that she has an edge on everyone as one of Terpening's abusers to the public.

Working 90-plus Hours

These are the types of people Michael Terpening employed to care for his foster kids. It makes me sick to know that an abuser hired abusers to continue the operations of his mighty empire.

This is the type of ignorance these victims, and other residents of the facility, had to deal with on a daily basis. Is this what abused kids deserve having to be subjected to? To be taken from an abusive parent and placed with an abusive foster parent who made thousands off them?

It is sick. Having a friend like Jamie, who needs enemies?

What is Love?

What is the true definition of love? Well, it depends on the type of love, as there are a few types, according to the Greeks.

Philia - means friendship or affection love and refers to the type of love that happens between good friends and family. This type love is dispassionate, virtuous, and non-sexual. It is also referred to as "brotherly love".
Agape - means unconditional love, the type of love that comes with holding high respect for another and can also happen between friends and family. This is the type of love that shows in action when you do something for another, even when you don't want to. It is also referred to as "sacrificial love".
Eros - means passionate love. This type of love occurs between lovers and spouses and is intimate, with sensual desire and longing. This love is stronger than philia, the friendship love, and brings strong emotion with it.

Recently, I have seen comments being made regarding the relationships that Reigh has with Rob and me. Hannah Coy posted a status update about emails between Reigh and Rob and went as far as to say that Rob is grooming him. She also calls Rob a monster.

I laugh when I read this. Rob has not groomed Reigh in any way. He has been nothing but kind to Reigh and a good friend. Rob and I definitely have our differences, but we have one common goal: to see Reigh get past what has happened in his life in order to move forward and be successful. Whether or not Terpening is found guilty is irrelevant, Reigh still has to learn to move on and have a good life.

When Reigh was sent to the House Next Door, he was in need of a good fatherly figure and people who cared for him. He desperately needed a combination of agape and philia love. But, that's not what he received when he went to stay at the facility.

Reigh was failed 300% by the staff at the House Next Door (except for one, and he knows who he is) who were either 1) too clueless to see obvious signs of abuse happening under their noses, or 2) knew about the abuse and chose to look away. Terpening picked excellent employees to work for him because they would esteem him as their idol who does no wrong.

So, I wonder, what the big deal is that people have stepped up to care for Reigh and helping to clean up the mess that Terpening has created? Does Reigh not deserve SOMEONE to love him and care for him? Does he not deserve a place to lay his head down at night without fear of being victimized by Terpening or beaten up by one of the other guys in the home.

The Followers turn everything good into something dirty. Because their nature is to abuse others, they cannot recognize a good thing to save their lives. Are they mad at themselves for failing these kids? Is the one that worked the most hours angry with herself because of what she cannot face, especially after losing a couple children in the early years? Is she angry at herself for sharing personal, confidential information about the residents of the facility with her best friend? Is she upset with herself for sacrificing her own paycheck to support her idol?

I have news for the Followers, this is far from over for the victims. They have to live with what happened and figure out how to do something with their lives. Reigh played you with the recant video. Anyone with brains can figure he is still messing with them and getting them hyped up. It only brings out their fangs and shows what types of people those kids were subjected to being around.

And now what? I have been warned of what is about to happen. And, this is a very bad time for my "give a damn" to be busted. I know the Followers were hoping I would just go away quietly. Why, so you can talk about me online the way you talk about the people trying to get to the bottom of the truth? Of course, I am going to say what happened. Be thankful I haven't said 90% of what I could have said, and still could. When you lie, people are going to fight back with the truth. These victims deserve that much after dealing with failures.

And the future victims that have been left behind still need to be protected before they are groomed to replace Terpening.

So, this morning, I received information that I am being talked about AGAIN. This is nothing new, and as I have said before, if the Twerp clones are talking about me, that is less time they have to tear apart the victims in "The Terpening Sex Crime Scandal". I guess it was time to take a break from work and check it out for myself.

However, I was surprised to hear Susan Ward Gillihan refer to me as "intelligent". Lacking common sense, too, apparently, which sometimes, it is true. If I had all the common sense I needed, I would never have supported Terpening for a millisecond. But, for a few months, I did. I am also guilty of saying things and doing things that were inappropriate. And there is no excuse for it. Maybe that is why I didn't go away quietly. I feel I owed it to the victims and their families to make sure the truth is revealed, even if it makes me look bad.

Do I regret it? Absolutely not. There are too many stories in the news regarding foster children being victimized and molested by their foster parents. IF Michael is guilty of these crimes, that's one more person who cannot victimize more kids.

The decision to turn away from the cult was easy; however, finding out I was lied to and having to walk away from certain people in this case was difficult, because of interactions between us from the earlier days. But, truthfully, I wouldn't change my decision for anything.

The victims are the priority here, first and foremost. And, I applaud these men for coming forward and putting a wrench in a man's very sick and sadistic business of "foster care" (allegedly, let's not forget that word). I don't think Terpening took enough time to find out how strong these victims could be before he allegedly groomed them and forced and coerced them into acts that will affect their lives for years to come. The fact the victims have not folded under the abuse of Terpening and his Followers is nothing short of amazing.

When I am going through previous messages between me and other Followers from before I turned away, things I said and did then were not appropriate, and I will admit that. To think I was a part of this group in any way taught me a valuable lesson in getting ALL the facts before making a move on anything. I am sure I will have plenty to answer for before this is over and done with, and that's fine.

It can't be any worse than worrying, constantly, about the revenge that could be sought on me for turning away (my house could catch fire or CPS could get sent again).

But, what will be will be. And, I have enough intelligence to know that the Attorney General's office has an extremely high success rate, and Angela is not going to push forward with this without EVIDENCE. If Michael is found guilty, it will NOT be because of "government corruption", but because of his own actions and those of his trained group of dogs.

Did you guys really think I was going to go away quietly? My name and things I wrote in support of Terpening had to come off the Internet. Not to mention, the Followers pushed Reigh and I together CONSTANTLY. How many phone calls did I have to make to him at the request of all of you? More than I can count.

But, I am glad for that. I would not trade that kid for the world. He is extremely intelligent and will leave a mark on this world, as will the other victims who decided that enough is enough.

Sticking my nose where it doesn't belong? Seriously? Susie, may I remind you of all the dirty places your nose has been (and mine once, too)? In the business of EVERY person named Dewey in southwest Michigan? How about privileged (and gagged) information regarding the victim in the next trial (CD)? Oh, let's not forget the picture you folks have of the web designer driving illegally? (Seeing as how you supply most of the rides...hmm.)

Abusers Do Not Take Responsibility, EVER

So, one of the points continually addressed is one method that abusers use to abuse others: surround yourself with other abusers, and let them do your dirty work for you.

Laura Adams, the Village Thinker, is a good choice for Michael Terpening. She is one who obviously enjoys abusing others and cannot see a problem with this. A huge stink was raised over her publishing the first, middle, and last name of two of the victims in Michael Terpening's alleged sex crime scandal.

A couple months back, I subscribed to Adams' Facebook. An update at Rob's site upset her enough to rant on Facebook about her "stalker and his stalkerette" (me).

And after everything, she cannot see anything wrong with taking the "word" of an alleged sexual predator and publishing it on two of her blogs, using two of the victims full legal names, resulting in a top Google search on one of them that was horrendous. Rob had been trying to get her to drop the victims' names for almost a year, with little luck. It took a surprise interview with Linda Linke, executive director of Community Inclusive Recreation, for the names to disappear, finally. Here is the unedited version of that interview...

Needless to say, Adams has not been happy with her stalker's actions to remove the victims' names, which she complains about on Facebook on Tuesday, 7/10/12. I happened to see it on my news feed and decided to comment back to her civilly. This is the ONLY time I have ever made contact with Adams on Facebook, but the following pictures do an effective job at showing the support Terpening has at his disposal.

After a few minutes of talking with Adams, she was sure to post this idle threat before she blocked me on Facebook. The police never did she up, as she never called them. I had places to be, so I called them myself to expedite the process; however, dispatch informed me no calls had been made about me. Not only does Adams help abusers by abusing others for them, but she is a liar, too. As much as she probably calls the police (they are her friends), she should know she had no legitimate complaint.

(I really dislike the Google suggestion tool.) After this, Adams blocked me and proceeded to delete all the evidence from her Facebook, leaving this message for anyone who actually cares. Name calling and more abuse, which has become an obvious problem with Adams.

Word to the wise, just because you block someone on Facebook does not mean they cannot still see what you say. It is very disappointing to know that abusing victims and others is an enjoyable pastime for Laura Adams, the Village Thinker.

For the record, Laura, your "stalkers" carry the same First Amendment rights that you do.

Update on the Web Guy

Many facts have been given to me over the last six months. Many lies have been told to me, as well. Trying to decipher between the lies and the truth has been difficult because I do not write down everything I hear regarding who said what.

The Web Guy did not call ever extension at CIR after talking to Laura Adams. When he made contact with her, he first called the number that was listed on her blog.

After she was nasty with him and hung up on him, he then proceeded to call her at the phone number listed for the business, which Adams answered, also.

My earlier post regarding the Web Guy "blowing up the phones at CIR" was inaccurate. In hindsight, that is information that was passed to me months ago by the Terpening Followers, and that is how they described it to me.

After being corrected by the Web Guy on this piece, I wanted to reiterate that. There were only two phone calls, and he reached out to Linda Linke through the Internet.

Now, that is cleared up, and I can go on with my day. What a beautiful day it is!!
