We return to one of the most striking projects ever featured on Inazuma Café: the GSX750 by Milos Stankovic, hailing from Serbia. That was back in 2018, and today we celebrate a new evolution that inherits both its spirit and technical audacity. The core of this build lies in a surgical intervention on the bike’s aesthetic soul: the fuel tank. To some, this might border on heresy, considering the Inazuma’s tank lines are among its most universally beloved features. Yet, borrowing Stankovic’s original concept, the stock Suzuki unit has undergone a delicate process of cutting and reshaping. The goal wasn’t merely to streamline the lines, but to completely redefine the bike’s silhouette, achieving what we like to call a "slender waist"—an incredibly sexy, sleek profile that accentuates the raw power of the air/oil-cooled four-cylinder engine.

Beyond the masterful metalwork on the tank, the build strictly adheres to the purest café racer canons:

• Minimalist rear end: the subframe has been shortened and finished with a custom ribbed flat seat that perfectly follows the new tank line. In this specific configuration, the upper brackets of the double-cradle frame’s central triangle have been raised to increase the seat height... An engineering choice of questionable technical validity that, while acceptable in a digital rendering, is not recommended for actual road use.

• Chassis: the front end features traditional forks with black gaiters for a retro touch, paired with low-slung clip-ons that provide a more aggressive, front-loaded riding position. Vimeo spoke wheels complete the frame.

• Breathing room: the stock airbox has been removed in favor of high-flow conical filters.

• Sound and exhaust: a raw, throaty roar is provided by an Arrow exhaust system ending in a compact muffler that integrates seamlessly with the clean lines of the swingarm.

Torniamo a parlare di uno dei progetti passati sotto i riflettori dell’Inazuma Cafè che più mi ha colpito: la GSX750 di Milos Stankovic, dalla Serbia. Era il 2018, e oggi intendiamo celebrarne una nuova evoluzione che ne eredita lo spirito e l'audacia tecnica. Il cuore di questa elaborazione risiede in un intervento chirurgico sul cuore estetico della moto: il serbatoio. Si direbbe una eresia, considerato che le forme del serbatoio Inazuma ne sono uno delle caratteristiche universalmente più apprezzate. Mutuando l'idea di Stankovic, l'originale unità Suzuki è stata sottoposta a un delicato processo di taglio e ricostruzione. L'obiettivo non era solo snellire le linee, ma ridefinire completamente la silhouette della moto, ottenendo quella che amiamo definire una "vita sottile": un profilo estremamente sexy e filante che mette in risalto la possanza del motore quattro cilindri raffreddato ad aria/olio.

Oltre al lavoro magistrale sul serbatoio, l'elaborazione segue i canoni più puri del mondo café racer:

• Posteriore minimalista: il telaietto è stato accorciato e rifinito con una sella piatta artigianale a coste, che segue perfettamente la nuova linea del serbatoio. Anche le staffe superiori del triangolo centrale del telaio doppia culla, qui, sono state arbitrariamente sollevate per alzare la quota sella… Una follia di dubbia accettabilità ingegneristica che, tuttavia, in un rendering digitale non nuoce: non fatelo a casa!

• Ciclistica: all'avantreno troviamo una forcella tradizionale con soffietti neri per un tocco rétro, accoppiata a semimanubri bassi che caricano la guida sull'anteriore. I cerchi a raggi Vimeo completano il quadro.

• Respiro profondo: via l’air box e nuovi filtri conici

• Sound e scarico: non poteva mancare una voce roca e potente, garantita dallo scarico Arrow che termina con un silenziatore compatto, integrandosi nella linea pulita del forcellone.

• Finiture: il serbatoio a metallo spazzolato, protetto da un trasparente opaco, contrasta magnificamente con il telaio e i cerchi in nero profondo, esaltando la natura "meccanica" della Inazuma.

Questa GSX750 non è solo una moto modificata; è una sfida alle proporzioni. Dimostra come, con la giusta visione e una buona dose di coraggio nell'impugnare il flessibile, una classica moderna possa trasformarsi in una creatura dal fascino senza tempo.

From the outset, the Neapolitan team’s mission was clear: to turn a British classic into a true "asphalt eater." This wasn't merely a cosmetic exercise. The engine was tuned to deliver a significant power boost, a move that necessitated an overhaul of the chassis. To harness this newfound aggression, the bike was fitted with upside-down forks and a high-performance braking system featuring radial calipers, ensuring the ride is as sharp and responsive as its silhouette suggests. Ci sono trasformazioni che non invecchiano, ma che sembrano semplicemente aspettare il momento giusto per mostrare una nuova anima. È il caso di questa splendida Triumph Speed Triple 900, nata originariamente nel 1983 e passata sotto le sapienti mani di Moto Design Custom a Napoli nel 2021.

L'obiettivo del team partenopeo era chiaro fin dall'inizio: trasformare una classica inglese in una vera "asphalt eater". Per farlo, non si sono limitati all'estetica. Il motore è stato spremuto per ottenere una cavalleria superiore, una modifica che ha reso necessario un aggiornamento radicale della ciclistica. Per gestire la nuova grinta, la moto è stata equipaggiata con forcelle a steli rovesciati, ammortizzatore di sterzo, e un impianto frenante di prim'ordine con pinze a freno radiali, garantendo una guida precisa e reattiva. Il ponte di comando non è da meno: pulizia estrema e tecnologia moderna grazie alla strumentazione e ai comandi al manubrio firmati Motogadget, che si integrano perfettamente nel look minimalista della special.

Il tocco di Inazuma Café... Qui a Inazuma Café, lo sapete, ammiriamo il lavoro dei maestri, ma amiamo anche giocare con le carte in tavola. Fa parte del nostro DNA "inazumizzare" le moto speciali d’autore, specialmente se hanno già qualche anno sulle spalle. Per questa versione, abbiamo deciso di immaginare una veste cromatica diversa. Se l'originale di Moto Design Custom sfoggiava un vibrante blu elettrico con l'immancabile Union Jack monocromatico sul serbatoio (link), noi abbiamo optato per una raffinata livrea Red & Silver e, già che c'eravamo, abbiamo anche lucidato il monoblocco. The Beast of Breganze: what if the Wrenchmonkees got their hands on a Laverda 1000?

In the world of custom motorcycles, certain names immediately evoke a specific aesthetic. Mention the Wrenchmonkees, and thoughts turn to brushed metal, clean lines, and that unique ability to make even the most elegant bike look mean.

About 13 years ago, at the peak of their fame, the Copenhagen garage left us speechless with their custom Laverda 750 SF — a minimalist reinterpretation that perfectly highlighted the mighty Italian parallel twin. Today, at Inazuma Cafe we have decided to push our imagination further, exploring a new virtual concept: what if that signature "Monkee" treatment were applied to its big sister, the legendary Laverda 1000 Jota?

To understand the scale of such a challenge, one must remember what the Laverda 1000 Jota represented in the 1970s. The Jota's legacy is pure power. It was not just a motorcycle; it was the fastest production bike in the world between 1976 and 1977, capable of exceeding 225 km/h. Its heart remains a masterpiece of engineering: a 981 cc inline-triple, DOHC, producing up to 97 hp at 7,800 rpm. It delivered brutal power, designed for those unafraid to tame a heavy, muscular machine weighing around 240 kg. The frame is a story in itself. While at first glance the frames of the 750 SF and the 1000 Jota seem to share Breganze's same design philosophy, structurally they belong to two completely different worlds.

If the Wrenchmonkees were to follow the philosophy applied to the 750 SF, we would see a 1000 stripped of all superfluous bodywork. Imagine a shortened and cleaned-up frame, a swingarm modified to accommodate a modern monoshock — perhaps derived from a Yamaha R6, as on their SF — and a tank-and-seat line running taut and parallel to the ground. This time, the chassis would be the 1000 Jota's double-cradle frame, suitably adapted for the project.

The 750 SF frame was a piece of bespoke tailoring stitched around the twin-cylinder engine: slender, lacking a closed bottom cradle, and using the engine as a stressed member. Conversely, to harness the fury and roughly 90 hp of the 1000 Jota's legendary twin-cam triple, the Venetian engineers had to radically redesign the structure. The 1000's frame is not only wider and taller in the middle section to house the bulky DOHC cylinder head, but it also introduces crucial gussets and reinforcements around the steering head and the swingarm pivot. This over-engineering was necessary to counter the brutal vibrations and torsional stresses generated by the unique 180-degree crankshaft timing of the three-cylinder engine (with the outer crankpins at 360° and the center one at 180°), making a direct engine swap impossible without radical — and frankly daring — frame modifications.

The visual impact of the triple engine would take center stage. In this concept, the choice falls on a three-into-two exhaust configuration: the headers merge and then split into two short-cone mufflers, one on each side. La Bestia di Breganze: e se i Wrenchmonkees mettessero le mani su una Laverda 1000?

Nel mondo delle special, ci sono nomi che evocano immediatamente un'estetica precisa. Se diciamo Wrenchmonkees, pensiamo a metallo spazzolato, linee essenziali e quella capacità unica di rendere "cattiva" anche la moto più elegante.

Circa 13 anni fa, al culmine del suo successo, il garage di Copenhagen ci lasciò a bocca aperta con la sua Laverda 750 SF custom, una reinterpretazione minimalista che esaltava il possente bicilindrico italiano. Oggi, noi di Inazuma Cafe abbiamo deciso di spingere l'immaginazione oltre, esplorando un nuovo progetto virtuale: e se il trattamento "Monkee" venisse applicato alla sorella maggiore, la mitica Laverda 1000 Jota?

Per capire la portata di una simile sfida, bisogna ricordare cos'era la Laverda 1000 Jota negli anni '70. L'Eredità della Jota è potenza pura. Non era solo una moto; era la moto omologata più veloce del mondo (1976-1977), capace di superare i 225 km/h. Il suo cuore è tuttora un capolavoro di ingegneria: tricilindrico in linea da 981 cm³, DOHC, sino a 97 CV a 7.800 giri/min. Ha un'erogazione brutale, pensata per chi non ha paura di domare un mezzo pesante (circa 240 kg) e muscoloso. Il telaio è una storia a se. Mentre a prima vista i telai della SF 750 e della Jota 1000 sembrano condividere la stessa filosofia costruttiva di Breganze, sotto il profilo strutturale sono due mondi completamente diversi.

Se i Wrenchmonkees seguissero la filosofia applicata alla SF 750, vedremmo una 1000 spogliata di ogni sovrastruttura superflua. Immaginate un telaio accorciato e ripulito, un forcellone modificato per ospitare un monoammortizzatore moderno (magari derivato da una R6 come sulla loro SF) e una linea serbatoio-sella che corre tesa e parallela al suolo. Questa volta, il telaio sarebbe il doppia culla della Jota 1000, opportunamente adattato al progetto: quello della 750 SF era un'opera di precisione sartoriale cucita attorno al motore bicilindrico: snello e privo di una culla inferiore chiusa e sfruttava il propulsore come elemento portante e stressato. Al contrario, per imbrigliare la furia e i circa 90 CV del leggendario tricilindrico bialbero della 1000 Jota, i tecnici veneti dovettero riprogettare radicalmente la struttura. Il telaio della 1000 non solo presenta una larghezza e un'altezza maggiorate nella parte centrale per ospitare l'ingombrante testata DOHC, ma introduce fazzoletti di rinforzo cruciali nella zona del cannotto di sterzo e del perno forcellone. Questi sovradimensionamenti si resero necessari per contrastare le brutali vibrazioni e le torsioni generate dalla particolare fasatura a 180° dell'albero motore a tre cilindri (manovelle laterali a 360° e quella centrale a 180°), rendendo di fatto impossibile un trapianto diretto senza interventi radicali di carpenteria, nelle circostanze, perlomeno arditi.

L'impatto visivo del tre cilindri sarebbe il protagonista assoluto. In questo concept, la scelta ricade su una configurazione di scarico tre-in-due: i collettori si uniscono per poi sdoppiarsi in due terminali a cono corto, uno per lato, che bilanciano perfettamente il posteriore snello e regalano quel sound cupo e asimmetrico tipico delle manovelle a 180°. Niente livree arancioni classiche: con la sola eccezione della carrozzeria minimale, solo toni scuri o metallo nudo, per sottolineare l'anima meccanica e "grezza" della bestia veneta.

What happens when a legend meets digital manipulation? In the world of "specials," the name Egli-Vincent conjures images of nickel-plated backbone frames, gargantuan 1000cc V-Twins (or the 1330cc variants by Godet Motorcycles), and that timeless aesthetic that defined the very essence of the Cafe Racer. Today, however, thanks to the web’s "pixel-wizards," we can push the boundaries beyond traditional mechanics. Between heritage and rendering, starting from the solid foundation of a classic Egli, this digital build introduces elements that might make purists cringe but will surely ignite the desire of any modern design enthusiast. At its heart lies the iconic Vincent engine — a sculptural block that appears almost too massive for the frame housing it. The most radical departure lies in the chassis: Inverted Forks: the traditionally slender lines of the front end are disrupted by beefy upside-down forks. This modification not only visually shifts the weight forward but also suggests the sharp handling of a modern superbike, creating a brutal contrast with the brushed aluminum fuel tank.16-Inch Wheels: this is where the rendering challenges both physics and tradition. Utilizing 16" wheels — typical of bobbers or vintage 1980s racing bikes — gives the motorcycle a compressed, aggressive stance. The generous tire sidewalls fill out the proportions, making the Egli-Vincent silhouette appear more compact and muscular than the lean 18" or 19" wheel versions. The look wants to be raw and refined, tied together by a diamond-stitched solo seat and a stunning bottleneck exhaust in polished steel. This stylistic choice serves as a clear nod to British heritage: the clean lines and tapered end of the muffler balance the aggression of the modern forks, preserving that vintage soul only an Egli-Vincent can project. The mirror-polished metal finish and copper accents on the engine casings add a "steampunk" flair, making this digital experiment truly one-of-a-kind.

Though it currently exists only as a file, this interpretation reminds us that Fritz Egli’s original spirit was all about enhancing excellence through innovation. Who will be the first "madman"— outside of a digital environment — with the courage (and the money) to turn these pixels into cold, hard metal?

Ma oggi, grazie ai "pixel-wizard" del web, possiamo spingere il limite oltre la meccanica tradizionale. Tra passato e rendering, questa elaborazione digitale, partendo dalla solida base di una classica Egli, introduce elementi che farebbero storcere il naso ai puristi ma che accendono il desiderio di ogni appassionato di design moderno. Il cuore rimane l'iconico motore Vincent, un blocco scultoreo che sembra quasi troppo grande per il telaio che lo ospita. Il cambiamento radicale avviene nella ciclistica. Forcelle Invertite: la classica linea snella dell'avantreno viene stravolta da massicce forcelle a stelo rovesciato. Questa modifica non solo sposta visivamente il peso verso l'anteriore, ma suggerisce una precisione di guida da Superbike moderna, creando un contrasto brutale con il serbatoio in alluminio spazzolato. Cerchi da 16 Pollici: qui il rendering sfida la fisica e la tradizione. L'uso di cerchi da 16", tipici delle bobber o delle moto da corsa vintage degli anni '80, regala alla moto una "stance" compressa e aggressiva. Le spalle generose degli pneumatici riempiono i volumi, rendendo la silhouette dell'Egli-Vincent più compatta e muscolosa rispetto alle snelle versioni con cerchi da 18" o 19". L’estetica ricercata è grezza e raffinata. Il look è completato da una sella monoposto con trapuntatura a diamante e da uno splendido scarico a bottiglia in acciaio lucido. Questa scelta stilistica vuole essere un omaggio alla tradizione britannica: la linea pulita e il finale rastremato del terminale bilanciano l'aggressività delle forcelle moderne, mantenendo intatto quel sapore vintage che solo un'Egli-Vincent sa trasmettere. La finitura a specchio del metallo e i dettagli in rame sui carter motore aggiungono un tocco "steam-punk" che rende questo esperimento digitale unico nel suo genere. Anche se (per ora) vive solo in un file, questa interpretazione ci ricorda che lo spirito di Fritz Egli era proprio quello di migliorare l'eccellenza attraverso l'innovazione. The "Inazumized" Honda CB1300 by Bottega Bastarda

In the custom scene, while many chase featherweight agility, the crew at Bottega Bastarda (Forlì, Italy) doubles down on the sheer muscle of a true powerhouse. Their canvas? A gargantuan Honda CB1300, a Japanese titan revered for its bulletproof reliability and relentless torque. Originally built by the workshop a few years ago, this project has recently undergone a striking but, unfortunately, only virtual evolution.

After spotting the bike back on the market, my creative spark was reignited. I couldn't resist the urge to "Inazumize" it—reimagining the build with bespoke aluminum bodywork designed to shroud and accentuate its formidable mechanical heart.

Naked metal and minimalist lines… The centerpiece is undoubtedly the handcrafted, brushed aluminum fuel tank. Its sinuous yet aggressive lines replace the original’s bulky proportions, granting the bike a leaner, more "racing" silhouette. The exposed metal is more than an aesthetic choice; it’s a manifesto. In this build, plastic has no place—only raw, mechanical substance remains.

Performance and bespoke details… The transformation by Bottega Bastarda, however, runs deeper than the surface. Dominating the front end is a massive upside-down fork paired with gold radial calipers, promising a level of handling precision the stock model could never achieve. Low-slung clip-ons dictate a committed, forward-leaning riding position—a hallmark of pure café racer DNA—while the rear is defined by a minimalist single-seater cowl that flawlessly integrates the diamond-stitched leather saddle.

The roar of the inline-four… The Honda powerplant remains the protagonist, now breathing freely through exposed conical filters and a custom 4-in-1 exhaust system. The setup features heat-wrapped headers and a low-slung megaphone muffler that adds a gritty, "garage-built" edge to this high-caliber special.

This reinterpretation proves that even a heavyweight like the CB1300 can be distilled into a sharp, menacing work of art, ready to turn heads the moment it unleashes its horses on the tarmac.

Nel mondo delle café racer, c'è chi punta alla leggerezza e chi, come i ragazzi di Bottega Bastarda di Forlì, preferisce esaltare la muscolosità di una vera "muscle bike". La base di partenza è una mastodontica Honda CB 1300, il colosso giapponese noto per l'affidabilità e la coppia infinita, realizzato dall'officina romagnola qualche anno fa.

Di recente, dopo averla incrociata nuovamente in vendita sul web, è scattata la scintilla: non ho saputo resistere e l'ho letteralmente "inazumizzata". Ho voluto immaginarla con una veste ancora più audace, dove una nuova carrozzeria in alluminio andasse a coprire e valorizzare la sua già ragguardevole meccanica.

Metallo nudo e linee essenziali… Il primo elemento che cattura lo sguardo è indubbiamente il serbatoio in alluminio spazzolato lavorato a mano. Le sue linee sinuose ma decise sostituiscono le forme più abbondanti dell'originale, conferendo alla moto un profilo più snello e "racing". Il metallo lasciato a vista non è solo una scelta estetica, ma una dichiarazione d'intenti: qui non c'è spazio per la plastica, solo sostanza meccanica.

Ciclistica e dettagli da "Special"… La trasformazione di Bottega Bastarda, comunque, non era puramente estetica. All'anteriore spicca una poderosa forcella a steli rovesciati che, insieme alle pinze freno ad attacco radiale color oro, promette una precisione di guida forse sconosciuta al modello di serie. I semimanubri bassi obbligano il pilota a una posizione di guida caricata in avanti, tipica delle café racer più pure, mentre il posteriore è dominato da un codino monoposto minimale che integra perfettamente la sella in pelle trapuntata.

Il ruggito del quattro cilindri… Il cuore pulsante Honda rimane protagonista, ma ora respira meglio grazie a filtri conici a vista e uno scarico artigianale 4-in-1 con terminale a tromboncino che termina basso sul lato destro. I collettori fasciati con bende termiche aggiungono quel tocco "garage" che non guasta mai su una special di questo livello.

Questa reinterpretazione dimostra che anche una moto imponente come la CB 1300 può trasformarsi in un'opera d'arte agile e cattiva, capace di attirare sguardi ovunque decida di scatenare i suoi cavalli.

The front end has undergone a significant evolution: the installation of inverted forks visually compacts the bike, creating a forward-leaning, street-fighter stance. The rear section has been streamlined with a classic "cowl" single-seater tail that seamlessly follows the tank’s contours, exposing the rear wheel for a cleaner profile. Complementing this custom spirit are the short steel cone exhaust and circular bar-end mirrors. Questa classica realizzazione custom trasforma radicalmente una Inazuma del 2000 nello stile cafè che conosciamo bene, sostituendo l'estetica retrò originale con un design aggressivo e minimalista. La livrea bicolore rossa e antracite incarna l'identità del toro, richiamata anche dai vivaci cerchi rossi. L’avantreno si è evoluto: la forcella a steli rovesciati accorcia visivamente la moto, caricandola sull'anteriore per un look da vera street-fighter. Il posteriore è stato snellito con il classico codino a "unghia" monoposto che segue la linea del serbatoio, liberando la vista sulla ruota posteriore. Lo scarico a cono corto in acciaio e gli specchietti bar-end circolari sottolineano l'anima custom. Triumph "Rocketter" 2300 cc: Dino Romano’s Dark Beast

The Rocketter made its official debut at EICMA 2010, born from the creative genius of Dino Romano under his Drag & Racing brand. It was love at first sight: seeing it in the flesh was a striking experience that compelled me to capture it in countless shots. Since then, I have closely followed the evolution of the various interpretations Dino has expertly tailored around the mammoth Triumph Rocket III. Based on the Rocket III Roadster, the Rocketter is a "dark special" with an imposing stage presence—matching its massive weight and tractor-like torque—yet reinterpreted with a surprisingly minimalist aesthetic. The project highlights the brutal nature of the monstrous 2,300cc triple like few others: by employing direct-induction conical filters and a custom three-into-one exhaust, the original cruiser is transformed into a purebred dragster. With the exception of the exhaust, every custom component was hand-crafted in Dino’s workshop. The livery features an aggressive mix of matte black and wrinkle-finish paint, leaving almost no room for chrome: only the exhaust, the instrument bezel, and the Roadster logo break the "total black" theme. Everything else—from the fender supports to the wheels, the drag-style handlebar to the levers, and even the tank badges—is drenched in darkness. Standout technical details include the relocation of the instrument cluster to the lower right, near the radiator, while the three intake filters loom menacingly on the left side. The stock twin headlights have been replaced by a compact single projector, encased in a bespoke cowl. A brutal foundation that Dino Romano offered to clients, ready to be further tailored to their desires.

Fu amore a prima vista: vederla dal vivo fu un’esperienza folgorante che mi spinse a immortalarla in numerosi scatti. Da quel momento, ho seguito con passione l'evoluzione delle varie interpretazioni che Dino ha saputo cucire sulla mastodontica Triumph Rocket III. Costruita sulla base di una Rocket III Roadster, la Rocketter è una "special dark" dalla presenza scenica imponente, coerente con il suo peso e la coppia da rimorchiatore, ma reinterpretata con un look sorprendentemente minimalista. Il progetto riesce a esaltare come pochi l'anima brutale del tre cilindri da 2.300cc: grazie all'adozione di filtri conici ad aspirazione diretta e a un nuovo scarico artigianale tre-in-uno, la cruiser originale si trasforma in una dragster di pura razza. Fatta eccezione per lo scarico, ogni componente speciale è stato realizzato a mano nell'officina di Dino. La livrea gioca su un mix aggressivo di nero opaco e vernice raggrizzante, lasciando pochissimo spazio alle cromature: solo lo scarico, il bordo della strumentazione e il logo Roadster staccano dal "total black". Tutto il resto — dai supporti parafanghi ai cerchi, dal manubrio quasi dritto alle leve, fino ai loghi sul serbatoio — è immerso nell'oscurità. Particolari tecnici di rilievo includono il riposizionamento della strumentazione in basso a destra, vicino al radiatore, mentre sul lato sinistro svettano minacciosi i tre filtri d'aspirazione. Il massiccio doppio faro di serie ha lasciato il posto a un singolo proiettore più compatto, incastonato in un cupolino disegnato ad hoc. Una base brutale, che Dino Romano offriva ai clienti pronta per essere ulteriormente cucita su misura.

1977 Kawasaki Z1000: an extreme resto-mod by RF-Biketech

There is something magnetic about classic Kawasaki "Z" models, especially when they fall into the hands of the German wizards at RF-Biketech. This version of the Z1000 in metallic black (finished by Experience Colors) takes the "muscle-retro" aesthetic to a level of absolute aggression. Don't be fooled by the tank's 1970s lines: beneath the surface beats a modern and muscular heart. The chassis is pure street-fighter. The undisputed highlight is the rear end. RF-Biketech has installed its own single-sided swingarm with an integrated sprocket shaft system—a refined technical solution necessary to accommodate a massive 300 mm rear tire mounted on an 18-inch spoked rim. Despite the imposing dimensions, the builder claims that agility is guaranteed by a Wilbers central monoshock and massive ZF inverted forks, held in place by CNC-machined triple clamps. The legendary Japanese four-cylinder engine hasn't just been polished; it has been completely rebuilt. It now boasts a displacement of 1075 cc thanks to REC pistons, fed by a bank of Mikuni RS 34 carburetors with K&N pod filters. The RFB 4-in-1 exhaust system completes the build, promising a soundtrack that matches its performance. Every inch of this bike has been redesigned: • Cockpit: A stunning set of polished aluminum retro instruments dominates the 850 mm Superbike handlebar. • Transparency: The clutch cover has been CNC-machined and fitted with a clear window, allowing a glimpse of the mechanical heart in motion. • Lighting: Up front, there’s an LED headlight with an "Invisible" mount, while the rear is kept clean thanks to the RFB conversion kit with integrated dual lights.

The K100 RS Dragster isn't your typical "aperitivo" Café Racer; it’s a turbocharged beast designed to spit fire and power every time the throttle snaps open. The aesthetic is muscular, dominated by a bespoke, short, and sharp rear subframe, entirely handcrafted in their Magdeburg workshop. Unveiled at the 2024 Bangkok Hot Rod Show, the "Hell Hound" by Thailand’s K-Speed is one of the most radical custom builds ever based on the compact Honda Dax 125. The project masterfully blends modern reliability with the nostalgic allure of 1950s and 60s land speed racers, featuring a striking aerodynamic "dustbin" fairing and an ultra-low-slung stance. Beneath its handcrafted bodywork lies the proven 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering a steady 9.4 hp (6.9 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. While the powerplant maintains its reliable factory specifications, K-Speed has completely overhauled the bike's ergonomics. Jockey Shift: the traditional foot-operated gear selector has been replaced by a side-mounted hand lever for a raw, old-school riding experience. Handlebar-Only Controls: the footpegs have been eliminated, with all controls—including the brakes—integrated directly into the handlebars. Il progetto fonde l'affidabilità della meccanica moderna con il fascino dei leggendari land speed racer degli anni '50 e '60, grazie a una vistosa carenatura aerodinamica "dustbin" e un assetto rasoterra. Sotto la carrozzeria artigianale batte il collaudato motore monocilindrico da 124 cc a quattro tempi, raffreddato ad aria, capace di erogare una potenza di circa 9,4 CV (6,9 kW) a 7.000 giri/min e una coppia massima di 10,8 Nm a 5.000 giri/min. The "Ronin" is more than just a custom Yamaha XJR 1300; it is a statement of principle. Crafted by the German specialists at Motorrad Klein for the 2016 Yard Built contest, the bike became a talking point when builder Dominik Klein withdrew his entry. His reason? A firm belief that other contestants had bypassed the competition’s strict technical constraints. Controversy aside, the "Ronin" stands as a masterclass in hybrid styling, bridging the gap between the raw power of 1970s American Superbikes and the lean elegance of the café racer scene. The striking white and blue "Speed Block" livery, featuring the iconic number 41, serves as a direct homage to racing legend "Nitro" Nori Haga. Technically, the bike is a powerhouse of premium components. It features a bespoke SC-Project titanium exhaust system, 48mm Ohlins FGRT forks, and a full Brembo braking suite. Every detail has been scrutinized, from the blue-anodized Kineo spoked wheels and CNC-machined triple clamps to the curved oil cooler with braided lines. C'è un'anima ribelle dietro la "Ronin", la special su base Yamaha XJR 1300 realizzata dai tedeschi di Motorrad Klein. Presentata originariamente per il contest Yard Built del 2016, la moto è diventata celebre non solo per le sue linee, ma anche per il clamoroso "gran rifiuto" del preparatore Dominik Klein, che ritirò la candidatura denunciando il mancato rispetto delle regole da parte degli altri concorrenti. Polemos a parte, il risultato tecnico è un capolavoro di equilibrio tra nostalgia e performance. La Ronin mescola il fascino delle Superbike americane degli anni Settanta con il minimalismo delle café racer moderne. La livrea bianco-blu con grafica speed block e il leggendario numero 41 sono un tributo esplicito a "Nitro" Nori Haga, icona del motociclismo mondiale. Sotto l’estetica curatissima batte un cuore rivisto profondamente: spiccano lo scarico artigianale in titanio firmato SC-Project e una ciclistica di altissimo livello, che vede protagonista una forcella Ohlins FGRT da 48 mm e un impianto frenante completo Brembo. Developed almost ten years ago, the customization of a 1999 Suzuki GSX 1200 Inazuma by Kraftrad Nöda remains a documented example of the cafe racer conversion style. The project focused on integrating modern components while maintaining the fundamental mechanical characteristics of the original platform. As most of our readers know very well, the GSX 1200 is powered by the Suzuki air-and-oil-cooled four-cylinder engine. This engine architecture, originally introduced with the GSX 1100 ES in 1984, remained largely unchanged for over two decades. For this build, the power unit was adjusted to prioritize torque and low-end power delivery. The 1200 model is distinguished from the smaller GSX 750 by several factory specifications that were preserved in this project, including Brembo brake calipers matched with the Showa rear shocks with adjustable damping. The transformation involved several structural and cosmetic changes. As usual in this kind of projects, the rear subframe was modified to accommodate a custom-built tail section. This unit was designed to house the battery and a modern LED light, streamlining the rear profile. The original dashboard was replaced with Motogadget digital instruments. The riding position was altered through the installation of clip-on handlebars, new levers, and custom grips. The front assembly features a modified headlight from a Harley-Davidson, mounted on custom brackets with integrated turn signals. A short, proprietary front fender was also installed. The intake system was updated with K&N air filters, and the custom exhaust system was recalibrated. The build was completed with a four-color custom paint application. The resulting motorcycle represents a technical exercise in balancing the GSX 1200’s historical mechanical heritage with the functional requirements of a contemporary custom build.

Realizzata quasi dieci anni fa, la Suzuki GSX 1200 Inazuma del 1999 ad opera di Kraftrad Nöda resta un esempio di conversione in stile cafe racer. Il progetto è concentrato sull'integrazione di componenti moderni, mantenendo al contempo le caratteristiche meccaniche fondamentali della piattaforma originale. Come i lettori dell’Inazuma Cafe sanno bene, la GSX 1200 è spinta dal quattro cilindri Suzuki SACS raffreddato ad aria e olio. L'architettura di questo propulsore, introdotta originariamente con la GSX 1100 ES nel 1984, è rimasta sostanzialmente invariata per oltre vent'anni. Per questa elaborazione, l'unità è stata messa a punto per privilegiare la coppia e l'erogazione ai bassi regimi. Il modello 1200 si distingue dalla più piccola GSX 750 per diverse componenti di serie che sono state preservate in questo progetto, tra cui le pinze freno Brembo accoppiate con gli ammortizzatori posteriori Showa regolabili. La trasformazione ha comportato diverse modifiche strutturali ed estetiche. Il telaio sottosella è stato modificato per ospitare il codino costruito su misura. L’unità è stata progettata per alloggiare la batteria e un moderno faro a LED, snellendo il profilo posteriore. Il cruscotto originale è stato sostituito con uno strumento Motogadget. La posizione di guida è stata modificata con l'installazione di semimanubri, nuove leve e manopole personalizzate. Il gruppo anteriore presenta un faro modificato di derivazione Harley-Davidson, montato su staffe artigianali con indicatori di direzione integrati. È stato inoltre installato un parafango anteriore corto di produzione propria.Il sistema di aspirazione è stato aggiornato con filtri aria K&N e il nuovo impianto di scarico è stato ricalibrato. La costruzione è stata completata con una verniciatura personalizzata a quattro colori. La motocicletta risultante rappresenta un esercizio tecnico che contempera l'eredità storica della GSX 1200 con le esigenze funzionali di una moderna special cafè.

An Italian classic reborn as a one-off: the Moto Guzzi Breva 750 fuel injection returns in a striking new form thanks to a custom build that blends craftsmanship, design, and character. The project is named “Paura Rockets 040,” a creation by designer Francesco Paura, commissioned by Vito Garzione. Developed at the South Custom Naples workshop, the build reinterprets the Breva with a minimalist yet aggressive approach. The fuel tank, finished in a bronze livery with warm metallic tones—already a signature of Francesco’s previous creations—becomes the visual centerpiece of the bike. Meanwhile, the rest of the structure is pared down to emphasize clean, essential lines. Particular attention has been paid to technical details: the transverse V-twin engine remains the star of the show, enhanced by features such as a handcrafted exhaust with heat wrapping and blacked-out components that heighten the visual contrast. Revised suspension and chunkier-profile tires hint at a versatile attitude, striking a balance between café racer and urban scrambler.

Una classica italiana che si trasforma in un pezzo unico: la Moto Guzzi Breva 750 i.e. si presenta sotto una nuova veste grazie a un’elaborazione custom che unisce artigianalità, design e carattere. Il progetto prende il nome di “Paura Rockets 040”, una creazione firmata dal designer Francesco Paura e realizzata su commissione per Vito Garzione. Il lavoro, sviluppato presso il laboratorio South Custom Naples, reinterpreta la Breva in chiave minimalista e aggressiva. Il serbatoio, rifinito con la livrea color bronzo, dalle tonalità calde e metalliche che abbiamo già visto sulle realizzazione di Francesco, diventa il fulcro estetico della moto, mentre il resto della struttura viene alleggerito per esaltare linee essenziali e pulite. Particolare attenzione è stata riservata ai dettagli tecnici: il motore bicilindrico trasversale rimane protagonista, valorizzato da elementi come lo scarico artigianale con fasciatura termica e componenti oscurati che rafforzano il contrasto visivo. Le sospensioni riviste e i pneumatici dal profilo più robusto suggeriscono un’attitudine versatile, a metà tra café racer e scrambler urbano.
