<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB SUMMARY: </strong></span><br />
The role of the Purchaser is to source suppliers for materials, goods and services for the company’s requirements with the aim of achieving the most benefit to the company at the least or most reasonable cost.  Prepare purchase orders from solicited bid proposals from prospective suppliers and review requisitions.<br />
The proper performance of this job requires close and constant contact with the Operations Manager and Project Managers.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></span><br />
Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.<br />
Execute and monitor all regular purchasing duties.<br />
Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.<br />
Liaise with Project Managers and Shop Supervisors with their open orders<br />
Create and issue purchase orders as directed/required.<br />
Coordinate the purchase orders with suppliers for on-time deliveries.<br />
Manage the purchase order processes and report, track and expedite open/standing purchase orders.<br />
Manage material purchasing spends and associated inventory levels.<br />
Daily monitoring of inventory levels to prevent stock outs.<br />
Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing.<br />
Adhere to ISO standards.<br />
Liaise with Finance Department to ensure supplier invoices are processed on a timely basis.<br />
Develop and maintain effective supplier relations for the benefit of the company.<br />
Ensures adherence to safety rules, government regulations and company policies and procedures.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</strong></span><br />
Performs additional duties as required.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</strong></span><br />
Education: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business administration or commerce or a certificate in purchasing from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC).<br />
Experience: 5 + years’ purchasing experience in the oil and gas industry.  Demonstrates ability to perform in a professional, courteous manner at all times and work with a high degree of accuracy while performing multiple tasks.<br />

<strong>Knowledge:</strong> Mechanical aptitude in the oil and gas industry.  Moderate to Expert level of Computer Literacy – Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.</p>

<p><strong>Mental/Physical/Visual Demands:</strong> Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.  Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.  Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations.  Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.  Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.  Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,).  Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.  Frequently needs to talk and hear. Occasionally stands, walks and sits, as well as using hands to touch or feel, and arms to reach.</p>
<p><strong>Working Conditions: </strong>  General office conditions. Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).  General plant conditions. The noise level in the plant is usually moderate. However, on some instances ear protection is necessary.<br />
Equipment/Tools Used:  Must possess the ability to learn the computer system and work with company enterprise software. <br />
Safety:  Safe work performance is required from each employee at all times.  Additionally, the proper discharge of safety responsibilities is an integral part of each employee’s performance appraisal.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Addiction Program Supervisor</strong></span></p>
<p>Is responsible for planning and directing the work of the addiction counsellor team and monitoring their work.<br />
Must work collaboratively with the team to further the mandate of and facilitate the growth of the agency.<br />
Skills for this position include; good verbal and written communication skills, emotional maturity and good judgment, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, a positive and flexible attitude, problem solving and decision making skills.  The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Addiction Program Supervisors duties include;</strong></span></p>
<p>Managing a case load with the same criteria as outlined in the Addiction counsellor job description<br />
Maintain communication with and fulfill duties as requested by the Executive Director</p>
<p>Provide input to the Executive Director regarding program development and assisting new program implementation<br />
Execute and follow through with client discharges is a timely and appropriate manner<br />
Delegate addiction counsellor team tasks<br />
Addressing resident concerns<br />
Monitor paperwork in client files and Our Client’s database quarterly for all employees<br />
Train and oversee resident security team<br />
Monitor and make changes as necessary to laundry schedule<br />
Oversee and facilitate house meeting, communicate issues to management team</p>
<p>Run counseling team meeting<br />
Interview and supervise individuals who request practicum student placement or addiction counsellors as necessary<br />
Conduct and report on a minimum of 4 room searches per week<br />
Competent in Our Client’s medication supervision and monitoring client medication<br />
Cover medication distribution as needed<br />
Run groups as necessary to cover absent staff or as support for new staff<br />
Planning a yearly program schedule in consultation with other management staff</p>
<p>Scheduling and overseeing presentations and groups with outside agencies<br />
Infection prevention and control including bed bug precautions and eradication procedures as needed<br />
Representing Our Client’s Addiction Recovery Centre in a positive manner in the community at all times<br />
Keep up to date with new developments in your field by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars, and establishing and maintaining contact with other social service agencies.<br />
This position reports to the Executive Director.<br />

Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.<br />
Conceptualize and produce graphic art and visual materials to effectively communicate information for publications, advertising, posters, and signs.<br />
Essential Responsibilities<br />
Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail.<br />
Prepare engineering designs and drawings on Engineer&#8217;s/Customer&#8217;s specifications.<br />
Complete documentation packages and drawing sets, Examine drawings for conformity and errors.<br />
Prepare assembly and detailed models by means of either Pro/E or ACAD under direction of Product engineers.<br />
Assist in creating quotation drawings and field service manuals. </p>

<p>A professional mechanical engineer (APEGGA Registered or eligible).<br />
5 years design/drafting experience.<br />

Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br />
Experience of producing drawings to a recognized industry standard.<br />
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.<br />
Proven track record of achievement in previous roles.<br />
Industrial experience of which some part should be industry related in relevant products.<br />
Pro/Engineer experience.<br />
Knowledge of applicable manufacturing techniques.<br />
Good communication techniques.<br />
Open mind, enjoys working in a team with other engineering disciplines, self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.</p>

<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>ANALYST, PRIVATE DEBT </strong>for our downtown Edmonton, Alberta client.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION:</strong></span></p>
<p>The analyst will assist in investment due diligence, evaluation and execution in developing a diversified global loan portfolio.  This position reviews, analyzes and synthesizes key data and presents information to assist in credit selection.  This role also assists in loan closing and performance monitoring/reporting.  Due diligence is key and this position requires strong analytical, financial analysis and modeling skills, attention to detail and transactional experience.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span><br />
University degree in Business supplemented by 1-2 years of experience working in investment banking, commercial lending, or accounting firm on transactions;<br />
Experience with investment research, financial analysis, financial modeling and a sound understanding of accounting principles;<br />
Completion or working toward completion of MBA, CFA and/or CA an asset;<br />
Knowledge of investment concepts and practices;<br />
Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a global outlook;<br />
Exceptionally detail-oriented, strong work ethics, analytical and a problem-solver.</p>

<p>This position will perform fundamental credit analysis, valuation and covenant review on corporate bond issuers in the Canadian fixed income universe.  Performing independent research, you will have in-depth knowledge of the corporate debt issues and issuers held in the bond portfolios and make buy, sell or hold recommendations based on fundamental financial statement review, covenant comparison and relative value analysis within and across sectors among other duties.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:<br />
Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance or a related discipline;<br />
Minimum of 5 years direct experience in the fundamental analysis of corporate bonds at the institutional level;<br />
Completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation;<br />
Advanced proficiency in financial statement modeling is essential;<br />
Consideration may be given to Analyst level (with a minimum of 2 years related experience in corporate bond analysis, equity analysis or investment banking experience).</p>

Coordinate the collection and dissemination of technical information between/within the company and customer.<br />
Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with external suppliers to ensure timely response to action items.</p>
<p>Monitor program cost activity to achieve an “in budget” result.<br />
Prepare quotations utilizing supplier information, cost standards, technical information from quality, manufacturing engineering, design.<br />
Create detailed instructions for manufacturing process of new part, specification for packaging, external supplier specification to provide standard cost structure and instructions for manufacturing.<br />
From customer drawings, determines possibility of failure in our manufacturing process. Analyze process to learn likelihood of detection and resulting effect on customer product. Suggest preventative steps for correction.</p>
<p>Performs work which involves conventional methods and types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features.<br />
Selects and recommends procedures or development of methods.<br />
Has experience, or the potential, of directing and supervises other engineering activities.<br />
Assists in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping strategies for proposed projects and in the development and preparation of technical specifications.</p>
<p>Prepares designs, drawings, plans and specifications for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment or components.<br />
Supervises technical testing.<br />
Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.<br />
Assists in the preparation of probable construction cost estimates.<br />
Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests and aerial photographs on soil compositions, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project.<br />
Prepares design computations and quantity estimates.<br />
Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for project.</p>
<p>Instructs technicians to reduce designs to working drawings.<br />
Reviews and monitors project progress to assure quality and adherence to requirements of contract documents.<br />
Receives instructions on assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions.<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical, and five years of experience with a solid knowledge base, obtainable through a combination of experience and continuing education; or<br />
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.<br />
AutoCAD.<br />
Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.<br />
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.<br />

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION:</strong></span></p>
<p>Responsible for staging, loading and unloading finished product and raw materials. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.</p>
<p>Package finished product for shipping. (shrink wrapping, banding, boxing, labeling).<br />
Stage finished product for loading.<br />
Load finished product onto truck.<br />
Unload raw materials from truck.<br />
Move raw materials to warehouse storage.</p>
<p>Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters.<br />
Responsible for quality control.  Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications.  Reject product outside of specifications.  Complete appropriate non-compliance documentation for inputs and outputs in a timely fashion. </p>
<p>Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and established Job Safety Processes (JSP).<br />
Operate forklift in a safe fashion to maintain raw material supply for the production line.<br />
Complete accurate shipping waybills.<br />
Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift. Ensure all equipment is kept at an “as new” condition.<br />
Communicate with operators from other departments.<br />
Ensure maximum production of quality product in the shortest period of time.  EFFICIENCY.</p>
<p>Clean and maintain work area.<br />
Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.<br />
Implement and coordinate QA activities for the Alberta region<br />
Monitor the Quality Assurance system<br />
Experienced and deep understanding of quality assurance and quality control programs (ISO).</p>
<p>Assist in training of employees in the QA policies<br />
Develop regional Quality ITP’s and Quality procedures<br />
Remain informed of ISO Quality Assurance and relative standards<br />
Provide interpretations of specifications and standards for clients<br />
Ensure all NCR’s, PA’s, and CA’s are closed out in a timely manner</p>
<p>Review and provide reports as required<br />
Administer the product alert / on-call process<br />
Participate in internal and external audits as required<br />
Assist mechanics and outside service personnel in repair work and the development of new processes.<br />
Perform back-up for fitting department, the punching department and other functions as assigned by the Plant Manager (PM).<br />
Provide on-the-job training to new employees.</p>
<p>Complete material requisition forms to order new materials and appropriate variable shop supplies.  Maintain economical supply levels adhering to just in time (JIT) manufacturing principles.<br />
Assist in the coordination of production startups, shutdowns and changeovers.</p>
<p>Complete paper work (e.g. waybills, receiving and daily time card) in a timely fashion.  Report daily in writing to the PM on all unusual process activity when applicable.<br />
Other duties as assigned.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>3+ years experience in shipping within a fast-paced environment.</p>
<p>Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.  This is normally acquired through a high school diploma.<br />
Forklift certification and minimum 1 year work experience in driving a forklift.</p>
<p>Ability to properly lift up to 70 lbs required.<br />
Excellent communication skills are mandatory with other personnel.  Good command of the English language, both oral and written is a must.<br />
The individual must be able to schedule his day on the fly and have strong skills to prioritize continually throughout the day.  This position is one that requires a lot of attention (situation awareness) with a great emphasis on detail and quality.</p>
<p>Minimum 3 years in a related quality assurance role<br />
All QA related experience and certification will be considered<br />
Working conditions are normal for a welding based manufacturing environment.  Work may involve the lifting of product and materials up to 70 pounds.  Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots and coveralls.  It is up to the individual as to the use of available breathing apparatus.</p>
<p>He/she is required to maintain a professional appearance at all times while on USI/VSI property.  Clothing which is found to be distractive, or less than desirable such as tee shirts (welding), pants or coveralls with holes, clothing that have racial or offensive slogans, clothing which is revealing or any other objectionable form of clothing that does not present a professional appearance is not acceptable at anytime on the premises.</p>

Update project status notes in SyACC and project schedules in conjunction with staff (at weekly meeting) and the Project coordinator<br />
Prepare project shipment documentation, stock requisitions and installation materials requisitions&#8217;<br />
Assist head office and technicians to create and hack open service work orders. Add open work orders to the regional schedule.<br />
Keep a check on the progress of service work orders and inform head office when these are complete<br />
Run BOA/WIP reports on a regular basis and liaise with sales/head office, where necessary</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></span></p>
<p>Assist with the preparations of monthly financial statements and analysis of account balances and job/project performances<br />
Assist with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for the company<br />
Accounting data entry, account reconciliations and analysis<br />
Assist with company payroll and help manage the payroll process including preparation of T4s, WCB reconciliations and reporting, government remittance payments, etc<br />
Assist with the annual financial statement audit as well as any other audits the company is subjected to (ie. PST, GST, client, employee benefits, etc.)<br />
Responsible for assisting with the administration and development of existing accounting and database systems<br />
Support the integration of company systems with client systems such as SAP and Cortex for payroll, cost tracking and invoicing<br />
Establish standards and best practices for use and data input<br />
Plan, set up and administer accounting processes.<br />

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></span>:</p>
<p>Under the direction of the company Vice President the <strong>ACCOUNTING MANAGER </strong>will:</p>
<p>Provide support for the financial affairs of the company and prepares financial analysis of operations, including monthly financial statements for the guidance of management.<br />
You will be responsible for the company’s financial plans and policies, accounting practices, fiscal records maintenance and the preparation of financial reports.</p>
<p>Supervise, oversee and direct the general accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting and budgetary administration and controls.<br />
You will also be responsible for company tax planning and compliance with all federal, provincial, municipal, corporate, payroll, GST, WCB and any other applicable taxes<br />
The responsibilities of the Accounting Manager include, but are not necessarily limited to:</p>
<p>Development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and other matters related to the fiscal / financial stability and operating effectiveness of the company<br />
Maintains the company’s system of accounts and ensures accurate records are maintained for all company transactions and assets either directly or through direct reports</p>
<p>Directs the Accounting Department Employees in providing and directing accounting procedures and accounting system applications to maintain proper records and adequate accounting controls <br />
Oversees (includes preparation and or reconciliation) all company accounting department activities, processes and procedures including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, cash application / management, payroll, cost accounting, job cost accounting and facilitation of bank deposits</p>
<p>Prepares credit applications, trade references and recommends appropriate credit limit based on credit worthiness of the customer<br />
Provides direction / support in the accounts payables match and clear invoice processing / reconciliation activities, required to process vendor invoices in a timely manner; reviews accuracy of approved vendor invoices by spot checking for discrepancies / issues, as outlined in the company’s standard operating procedures</p>
<p>Provides oversight / support for all departments on matters that affect the accounting system and other relevant company purchases information<br />
Ensures all reasonable early payment discounts are taken on vendor accounts payable invoices<br />
Checks and approves all internal employee expense vouchers; issues manual cheques or cash as requested and approved<br />
Reimburses submitted and approved travel expenses and approved allowances (i.e. safety allowance, cell phones, etc.) incurred by assigned employees</p>
<p>Performs monthly credit card and petty cash reconciliation including matching credit card receipts with statements; investigates missing receipts and posts all approved credit card entries in the accounting system<br />
Appraises company financial position regularly and issues periodic reports to company ownership on the company’s financial stability, liquidity and growth potential</p>
<p>Coordinates and directs the preparation of the company annual operating and capital budget, financial and cash flow forecast, inventory dollar levels, budgeting process, collaborates with senior and department management to achieve required buy in<br />
Recommends annual inventory dollar levels and capital budget requests for approval by ownership   </p>
<p>Prepares regular monthly reports including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and any reporting required for regulatory agencies and financial institutions; checks information for accuracy and makes adjustments as required </p>
<p>Directs and oversees all year end reporting preparation / requirements to ensure timely submission to all required government agencies, financial institutions and 3rd party accounting firm <br />
Provides relevant financial reporting and operations metrics and meets regularly with company ownership, senior and department management to review operating reports / results, including variances to sales, margins, expenses and operating income; points out opportunities for improvement / recommends appropriate action as required </p>
<p>Analyses operational issues impacting the company (i.e. overtime, inventory control, etc), determines their financial impact and points out opportunities for improvement / recommends appropriate action as required </p>
<p>Oversees processing of company payroll (salaried and hourly employees); ensures accuracy and timeliness<br />
Studies mid to long range economic trends and keeps up to date on general, business and financial conditions and their possible impact on the company<br />
Assists ownership with future growth support information as required, including validating sales, margin and profit assumptions; requirements for capital, land, buildings, staffing, etc for contemplated market, product and customer expansion, competitive acquisition or strategic alliances<br />
Evaluates and recommends adequate insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities; executes additions to policies and renewals as required</p>
<p>Facilitates the timely preparation of all S.R. &amp; E.D. grant information to ensure the company is reimbursed for all appropriate expenses<br />
Directs, coordinates and manages company-wide annual physical inventory process<br />
Directs and coordinates company-wide enterprise computer system including all applications, controls, licenses etc, in conjunction with the designated corporate IT resource   <br />
Promotes teamwork between the office and administration employees and all company departments through positive role modeling and leading by example</p>
<p>Conducts direct reports probationary reviews and annual performance appraisals in a timely manner <br />
Proactively coaches direct reports in developing their strengths through ongoing daily feedback and face to face communication; particular emphasis in mentoring department employees for future responsibilities<br />
Responsible for office and administration personnel actions including recruitment, promotions, discipline and terminations in conjunction with ownership and senior management</p>
<p>Attends and actively participates in company monthly safety meetings<br />
Ensures the company follows all standards regulated by Alberta Employment Standards Code; maintains contact with Labour Standards Officers on discrepancies and issues to ensure compliance<br />
Ensures that the customer invoicing function is effectively and consistently implemented and all invoicing is accurate and processed / delivered by the 25th of each month</p>
<p>Validates through spot checks that all required employee, customer, supplier and accounting data entry is entered into the accounting system or other off line system(s) accurately and in a timely manner<br />
Ensures monthly vendor statements are reviewed and reconciled to invoices received to mitigate duplicate invoices or overcharge; coordinates activities resulting from statement review<br />
Achieve budgeted accounts receivable Days Sales Outstanding and accounts payables days</p>
<p>Achieve 98% payroll accuracy (areas within the control of the Accounting Department)<br />
Provides month end enterprise system generated financial reports including income statement and balance sheet with 15 working days of month end</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">QUALIFICATIONS</span>: </strong></p>
<p>C.M.A. or C.G.A. designation or candidate with demonstrated technical accounting knowledge and experience<br />
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management including strong background in finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including GAAP<br />
Intermediate level computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in excel, access, word<br />
Experience with Quick Books desirable <br />
Experience with payroll applications and systems<br />
Knowledgeable in generally accepted accounting practices and principles<br />
Knowledgeable in the preparation of financial statements, schedules and reports<br />
Knowledgeable in auditing practices and principles<br />

<p>The General Manager is the senior operating executive appointed by and derives authority from the President.  The General Manager has full delegated authority to conduct, manage and administer all operational affairs of the company, within the parameters and limitations set by the President.<br />
The General Manager will adhere to all policies, procedures and practices of our client.  In collaboration with the President, the General Manager is responsible for planning, directing and overseeing all aspects of the company’s operational policies, objectives and initiatives. You will provide creative leadership while managing the day to day operations. </p>
<p>The General Manager is directly accountable for ensuring that all staff resources are in place and utilized effectively to achieve the agreed to plans and budgets as well as operating units and effective stewardship is provided to relevant budgets and employee development needs.</p>
<p>You will help lead and develop a group of well rounded, capable managers at each operating<br />
company. You will oversee the implementation of an effective H/R program; one that builds critical<br />

<p>In collaboration with President you will be responsible for contributing to the development of organizational strategy, including plans and approaches to improve or expand the company’s operations, and/or business practices and sales growth. <p>The General Manager establishes and maintains effective customer and public relationships through direct customer contact and or delegated company representation with a view to developing new business opportunities and presenting the company positively to the market place. You will maintain effective communications with the President and all functional operating areas, company employees and other essential personnel necessary to the performance of specific assignments, company plans and performance overall.</p>
<p>You will conduct regular meetings with General Managers to ensure that priorities are clear, coordination is good, and negotiates operational objectives and performance goals. You will also follow up on decisions made in management meetings and ensures proper execution. Conduct regular reviews of operating companies’ performance and decide on action required. Facilitate resolution of issues between divisions. Advise the CEO on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues and make recommendations on major business decisions.</p>
<p>The General Manager will keep the President informed about business activities, potential threats, opportunities and recommended actions. You will help determine resource allocation among operating companies along with meeting corporate operational objectives, strategic plans and goals.<br />
You will meet operational budgets and promote profitability and growth of the company all while maintaining effective communication and leadership with the divisional General Managers.</p>

<p>The Manual Machinist will be responsible for the following:<br />
Effectively carry out their duties based on the schedule and guidance provided to them. These duties will include efficiently and accurately completing the assigned tasks on a suitable machine which could include engine lathes, boring mills, milling machines, drill presses, cylindrical grinders, etc. While performing these duties a Machinist is expected to maintain a tidy, safe and pleasant work shop environment.<br />
Duties include (but are not limited to):<br />
Proficient in reading and understanding engineered drawings, blueprints, charts, tables and parts blow ups.<br />
Ability to select appropriate tooling for the work to be done.<br />
Ability to set up conventional machining equipment to operate at accepted industry standards for the type of tooling being used.<br />
Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.</p>
<p>Fit and assemble components and machine parts to industry standards.<br />
Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.<br />
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.<br />
Complete log books for each job, at each workstation.<br />
Maintain calibration of tooling and complete calibration forms as required.<br />

<p>The Project Manager will work directly with our client’s Project Management team, Engineering group, Procurement, Construction and the Client to plan, monitor, coordinate, and execute specific day-to-day project-related technical and commercial responsibilities for a large oil sands project in alignment with contractual obligations.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></strong></p>
<p>Assist with the direction and/or execution of all planning, engineering, procurement, material management and project control activities as may be required for a specific area of this project;<br />
Part or Full Time assignment in the office of the Owner or other engineering firms working on the project;<br />
Proactively establish customer relationships at an appropriate level and manage our client’s execution performance to meet client expectations relative to scope, cost, schedule, quality and change management;<br />
Verify that progress is aligned with schedule requirements, project budgets are met and engineering/construction quality is managed in accordance with client specifications;<br />
Interpret engineering data and generate/evaluate alternative analytical solutions;<br />
Prepare engineering estimates, trends, engineering work packages and construction work packages for submission to client and/or construction Contractors;<br />
Assist with the development and implementation of work processes and data management structures that optimize project execution;<br />
Contribute to our ongoing business success by proactively identifying, aggressively pursuing, and successfully implementing technical and commercial improvement initiatives.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></strong></p>
<p>Experience with technical and commercial management of engineering, procurement, maintenance and construction activities in the petrochemical industry;<br />
Engineering, maintenance, project and/or operations experience at an operating petrochemical facility or a heavy industrial site is an asset;<br />
Engineering degree; preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;<br />
Formally registered as a P.Eng in the Province of Alberta by Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta, or be eligible to be licensed by APEEGA;<br />
Preference given to candidates with a working knowledge of electric heat tracing design and applications engineering.<br />
<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>NOTE:</strong> This position requires some travel throughout Alberta.</p>

<p>Duties of the <strong>INSTALLER </strong>include, but are not limited to:</p>
<p>Building shelving, ladder racks, safety partitions, etc;<br />
Installation of van equipment, truck tool boxes and canopies;<br />
Installation of light bars, heaters, inverters;<br />
Custom fabrication including welding and sheet metal work;<br />
Maintaining a clean work space;<br />
Pick up and delivery of client vehicles;<br />
Additional duties as required.<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have strong communication skills and have experience with hand and power tools. Previous experience with sheet metal and/or electrical work is a definite asset. A clean Class 5 driver’s license is required.</p>
<p>Hours of work are 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch. Some overtime will be required.</p>
<p>Wage is negotiable, depending on experience.</p>

<p>As the Contracts/Project Manager you will oversee site schedules and ensure all projects are completed safely and in accordance with schedules. Duties include, but are not limited to:<br />
Arrange delivery of materials and equipment to the sites;<br />

Provide leadership to the installation teams;<br />

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the concrete and/or asphalt industry. You must also have supervisory experience and be able to read blueprints. Knowledge and understanding of site surveying, construction estimation and project management is also required.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who will effectively interact with both clients and working crews.</p>
<p>This position is paid hourly; wage is negotiable depending on experience.</p>
<p>Hours of work vary with each project. Accommodation and per diem will be provided for out-of-town locations.</p>
<p>A company vehicle will be provided. Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s license; an abstract will be required.</p>

<p>The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support, balancing a demanding work load while exercising mature judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information pertaining to business.  Job incumbents will be responsible for effectively handling requests and issues brought to the Executives offices, either from external or internal clients and contacts.  In addition maintain calendars, schedule appointments, make travel arrangements, research and prepare background material for various meetings and respond directly to day-to-day administrative inquiries on behalf of the office.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>3+ years of related administrative experience, preferably in financial administration;<br />
Experience in writing, proofreading, editing, records management, and the compilation, summarization and coordination of confidential information;<br />
Completion of a recognized Office Administration or Administrative Assistant post-secondary program preferred;<br />
Experience in Microsoft Office 2010 suite;<br />
Project Management experience an asset;<br />

<p>Our Client is a leading worldwide provider of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and other technologies and services for the rehabilitation of pipeline systems. Our Client&#8217;s businesses consist of sewer, drinking water, and energy and mining pipeline rehabilitation and protection. The company provides cost-effective solutions to remediate operational, health, regulatory and environmental problems resulting from aging and defective pipelines. Oour Client allows its customers to avoid the extraordinary expense and extreme disruption that can result from traditional &#8220;dig and replace&#8221; methods.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p>
<p>Manage other Field Engineers and Project Managers to plan, direct and manage all activities of assigned CIPP projects to ensure that company objectives for customer satisfaction, safety, quality, production, revenue and profit are met within a prescribed time frame<br />
Accountable for the project management system, tools and staff for all assigned projects from the time a project is acquired through the final payment of closed projects</p>
<p>Acquire fully executed contracts from customers and sub-contractors<br />
Provide Regional Manager, Field Engineer(s), Superintendent(s) and appropriate sub-contractors with Job Transfer and work schedule.<br />
Administer Internal Project Meetings with the Superintendents, Field Engineer(s) and appropriate sub-contractors to make necessary changes and finalize the work schedule</p>
<p>Attend the customer’s Pre-Construction Meeting and ensures necessary staff and sub-contractors attend<br />
Procure Critical Project Documents (necessary permits, submittals, sub-contractor insurance requirements) required by the specifications or client<br />
Monitor projects daily and record production and job costs into the project management system</p>
<p>Prepare weekly and monthly Project Progress Reports as required<br />
Identify changes in the scope of work to determine if there is an opportunity or need to submit a Change Order Request to the customer.  Facilitate and execute all Change Orders with the customer<br />
Plan and hold Project Status Meetings with the customer, sub-contractors, Field Engineer and Superintendents as necessary<br />
Monitor and verify all sub-contractor production daily and record progress in the project management system</p>
<p>Verify and record committed and actual job costs into the project management system daily<br />
Complete a Project Close Out Report to identify final changes in work scope, additional revenue opportunities, punch list items and any hindrances that may delay close out and final payment<br />
Submit invoices and collect payments from the customer as necessary<br />
Identify new business opportunities with existing customers<br />
Update and maintain customer/contact database for all contacts associated with any project, existing customers, sub-contractors, prime contractors or any other parties that may influence or impact OUR CLIENT’S success</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span>:</p>
<p>Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field<br />
P. Eng preferred<br />
Minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in field management construction as listed above<br />
Experience in a civil, water/ sewer or municipal environment required<br />
Experience managing Field Engineers and Project Managers<br />
Experience troubleshooting issues with customers as needed<br />
Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel, with JD Edwards software systems helpful<br />
Approximately 20% travel is required</p>

<p>This position is responsible for assisting and working closely with the sales team to grow profitable sales for all the product lines by developing quotes, answering sales inquiries for all potential clients, processing orders and assisting walk-in customers. By performing the following duties they act primarily as a communication linked between the clients, our sales team, purchasing and the warehouse.</p>
<p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Processes orders and customer returns accurately and in a timely manner. Populate all required information in software for future reference.<br />
Resolves customer challenges including those concerning billing or regarding products/services provided.<br />
Communicates to sales reps and or designated department any unresolved / open issues for further action.</p>
<p>Maintains a working knowledge of company policies, processes and products to effectively answer customer questions.<br />
Communicates orders and quotations with sales team and clients effectively including documenting notes for follow up or customer call backs.<br />
Enters Changes to existing order entries and documents and communicates follow ups to all concerned.<br />
Prepares appropriate job folders for new jobs ensuring folders are not duplicated.</p>
<p>Updates all active orders hipping dates daily in Atrex as communicated by the client, sales rep, installer or contractor. Over due dates will be relayed to sales rep. and then take appropriate action.<br />
Manages company sample program process including customer follow up and relay to sales rep.<br />
As a support to the sales team, actively endeavors to close any appropriate customer in store or telephone selling opportunities.<br />
Maintain inventory levels as well as participate in annual physical inventory.</p>
<p>Contacts all customer open sales orders for timely pick up and invoicing prior to company year end.<br />
Reviews open order report daily and follows up where required.<br />
Coach staff to ensure that they meet corporate objectives.<br />
Participate in sales training programs.<br />
Maintain showroom tidiness, displays, and literature.<br />
Responsible for resolving order shortages, back orders and inventory discrepancies.</p>

Ensure warehouse inventory is accurate in SYACC. Follow up on equipment that is received and not shipped or unidentified with head office<br />
Participate in fiscal year end, customer order clean up and also physical inventory count activities<br />
Run open sales order reports weekly</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Project and Service Administration</strong></span><br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Core duties include:</strong></span></p>
<p>Inform technicians of project numbers and add to the project schedule.<br />
Track equipment deliveries for projects. Inform technicians, sales and project coordinator of status<br />
Update project status notes in SyACC and project schedules in conjunction with staff (at weekly meeting) and the Project coordinator<br />
Prepare project shipment documentation, stock requisitions and installation materials requisitions&#8217;<br />
Assist head office and technicians to create and hack open service work orders. Add open work orders to the regional schedule.<br />
Keep a check on the progress of service work orders and inform head office when these are complete<br />
Run BOA/WIP reports on a regular basis and liaise with sales/head office, where necessary</p>

<p>The General Machinist will be responsible for the following:<br />
Effectively carry out their duties based on the schedule and guidance provided to them. These duties will include efficiently and accurately completing the assigned tasks on a suitable machine which could include engine lathes, boring mills, milling machines, drill presses, cylindrical grinders, etc. While performing these duties a Machinist is expected to maintain a tidy, safe and pleasant work shop environment.<br />
Duties include (but are not limited to):<br />
Proficient in reading and understanding engineered drawings, blueprints, charts, tables and parts blow ups.<br />
Ability to select appropriate tooling for the work to be done.<br />
Ability to set up conventional machining equipment to operate at accepted industry standards for the type of tooling being used.<br />
Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.<br />
Fit and assemble components and machine parts to industry standards.<br />
Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.<br />
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.<br />
Complete log books for each job, at each workstation.<br />
Maintain calibration of tooling and complete calibration forms as required.<br />
Maintain work area to the highest housekeeping standards.<br />
Monitor and maintain equipment as per maintenance requirements.<br />
Perform non-production related work as requested by the shift leader.<br />
Maintain professional level of personal conduct.<br />
Adhere to all Health and Safety, and Environmental requirements. <br />

<p>This key position within our organization requires a Broadcast professional with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in designing/integrating complex Broadcast systems.  This individual should have a good overall understanding of broadcast systems and the components which go into building and integrating systems for the television, cable, telco, and specialty markets.   In this ever changing industry, knowledge of IT based infrastructure, current broadcast software systems, and audio/video control systems is necessary.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate is a team-oriented individual with a strong self-directed work ethic along with effective time management skills. This individual will be required to work in an autonomous atmosphere and be able to effectively allocate resources in order to fulfill numerous demands. The ability to effectively communicate with Senior Management, Sales/Installation Teams &amp; Project Managers is critical to the success of this position.   Building and maintaining relationships is key so this person will need to ensure that their team and customers are kept apprised of project progress, challenges &amp; constraints, and areas of opportunity. </p>
<p>This position will report directly the Manager, Broadcast Systems, with a secondary report to the Manager, Engineering.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>PRIMARY ROLE:</strong></span><br />
This position holds overall responsibility for implementing projects and bringing them to a successful conclusion.</p>
<p>The main responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to:<br />
Hands on Project Management of  multiple projects which includes:<br />
Leading the design team throughout the design phase of a project.<br />
Devising a project plan outlining critical dates, milestones and timeline. <br />
Managing all aspects of the project build including allocating and supervising resources during the installation, commissioning, testing and deficiency phases of the project as well as participating in the build.   <br />
Providing detailed weekly reports outlining the status of active projects.<br />
Managing the change order process.</p>
<p>Providing as-built and close out documentation upon project completion.<br />
Managing the deficiency report and tracking outstanding issue to project completion.<br />
Participating in equipment preparation, installation, commissioning, and testing. <br />
Composing drawings in Visio or CADD as required. <br />
Researching equipment for projects and provide technical specifications and solutions.<br />
Actively participating in personal &amp; professional development &amp; maintaining knowledge of current &amp; new technologies. <br />

<p>Broadcast electronics and/or engineering education with a post-secondary institution.<br />
7-10 years of experience in system design and/or system integration.<br />

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Visio drawing tools.<br />
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.<br />
Ability to manage multiple tasks &amp; work under pressure while adhering to project schedules.<br />

Possession of a valid Canadian driver’s license and current travel documents. </p>

<p>Instructs technicians to reduce designs to working drawings.<br />
Reviews and monitors project progress to assure quality and adherence to requirements of contract documents.<br />
Receives instructions on assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions.<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical, and five years of experience with a solid knowledge base, obtainable through a combination of experience and continuing education; or<br />
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.<br />
AutoCAD.<br />
Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.<br />
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.<br />

<p>Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Person will work as part of a small team and will be responsible for shipping, receiving and inventory control duties.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse environment. Knowledge of the chemical industry is an asset. The ability to operate a forklift and intermediate computer skills are also required. Candidates must be in strong physical condition, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to handle pressure and pay close attention to detail.</p>
<p>High school diploma or equivalent is required. WHMIS and TDG are assets.</p>
<p>This position involves working a 40 hour work week. Some overtime and on-call will be required.</p>
<p>Our client offers a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefit plan is available after a probationary period. This position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client is currently looking to hire a<strong> CHIEF QUALITY OFFICER (CQO)/TECHNICAL SUPPORT</strong> for their Sparwood, British Columbia location.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION:</strong></span></p>
<p>The Chief Quality Officer (CQO) Technical Support will be responsible for the following:</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the General Manager, the CQO is responsible for internal branch audits, co-ordination of audits with external auditing firm, scheduling of calibration, updates and distribution of changes to manuals, and training related to the QA system.</p>
<p>Additionally this individual is responsible for gathering, maintaining, and distributing technical information to all departments, creating and updating CAD drawings, and assisting branch personnel with technical, environmental and health and safety issues.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Duties include (but are not limited to):</strong></span></p>
<p>Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining, quality management procedures and systems.<br />
Defining quality policies and interacting with Branch Managers and Production Supervisors.<br />
Responsible for internal auditing at each branch twice per year,<br />
Co-ordination of audits with external auditing firm.<br />
Scheduling of calibration and maintaining calibration records.<br />
Reviewing current policies and implement plans to improve upon the existing quality procedures.<br />
Updates and distribution of changes to quality manuals and work procedures.<br />
Review and analyze the effectiveness of any system modifications made.<br />
Training of branch personnel as it relates to the QA system.<br />
Leading Review Team meetings after each audit.<br />
Providing support to the branch operations with respect to Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and technical issues.<br />
Responsible for gathering, maintaining and distributing technical information to all departments.<br />
Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining CAD drawings.<br />
Requires overnight travel approximately 1 week out of every 8 to 12 weeks.<br />
Responsible to ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental legislation.<br />
Ensure that all procedures within the company conform to health and safety regulations, financial policies and Provincial and Federal legislation.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>Graduate of recognized mechanical engineering technology program.<br />
Consideration given to those with foreign Mechanical Engineering University Degree.<br />
Minimum 5 years work experience in a Mechanical Engineering or related Trades environment.<br />
Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.<br />
Effective communication and report writing skills.<br />
Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details.<br />
Good leadership capabilities to lead projects to successful completion.<br />
Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality management.<br />
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.<br />
Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.<br />
Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.<br />
Experience or training in related fields such as coatings, honing, welding and conventional machine shop equipment.<br />

Proficient in reading and understanding drawings, blueprints and parts blow ups.<br />
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.<br />
Proficient in the use of CAD or Solid Works.<br />
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.<br />
Hands on experience in hydraulics, machining, and welding, would bean asset.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION:</strong></span></p>
<p>This key position requires a team-oriented individual with a strong, self-directed work ethic along with effective time management skills. The AV Project Manager must be able to efficiently manage multiple tasks and possess strong verbal &amp; written communication skills in order to ensure the successful integration of our Audio Visual Systems. Proficiency in all aspects of audio visual systems as well as an advanced understanding of electrical/mechanical infrastructure and general construction techniques is required.</p>
<p>The main responsibility of this position is the efficient management of the company’s audio visual projects. Secondary responsibilities include design and sales support. As the primary on-site representative, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects, engineering &amp; installation processes are adhered to and documented. Key priorities include coordination with Supervisors, administration &amp; sales staff as well as the preparation of installation materials &amp; scheduling of technical support for installation team. We are looking to this position to provide the leadership needed to create a positive experience for our customer through consistent communication.</p>
<p>The main duties of this position are as follows, but not limited to:</p>
<p><strong>A) Project Management:</strong></p>
<p>Review project design, SOW, equipment list and initial drawings, ensuring technical accuracy prior to commencement of equipment ordering<br />
Provide project labour estimate summaries, target start/finish dates and any critical milestones to supervisor, administration and sales staff for project scheduling purposes<br />
Ensure creation of cable run lists, equipment rack layout and project installation materials lists following standard nomenclature<br />
Ensure complete project hand-off package is available for installation resources prior to project start-up<br />
Through communication with the client, identify project schedule critical milestones, monitor progress and take corrective action to maintain schedule as required<br />
Monitor and contractor resources for proper allocation &amp; efficiency while on-site<br />
Meet regularly with Supervisor and Administration to ensure that project costs are meeting estimates as project progresses<br />
Provide regular progress updates to client and ensure all concerns are addressed<br />
Ensure installation tasks are completed using Best Practice techniques, consistent with our client’s standards<br />
Maintain Change Order System updates in conjunction with Administration<br />
Supervise testing/commissioning of completed systems in coordination with client/consultant<br />
Develop, manage and communicate deficiency report and track outstanding items for completion<br />
Use as-built documentation to modify drawings if required<br />
Work with Supervisor, Administration and Sales to ensure any unused project equipment/materials are returned from job site to our client’s warehouse and properly documented for return to manufacturer or return to stock<br />
Participate in Project Post-Mortem reviews with Supervisor, Administration and Sales as required</p>
<p><strong>B) Design</strong></p>
<p>Provide Conceptual design, Bloc diagram, Detailed design of AV systems according to the phase of the project<br />
Analyze and understand client needs in order to design systems which best suit the application<br />
Research equipment for projects and provide technical specifications</p>
<p><strong>C) Sales Support</strong>:</p>
<p>Support technical sales team with system design suggestions and share installation successes &amp; failures<br />
Review proposals for technical accuracy and intended functionality<br />
Conduct pre-proposal/pre-install site inspections and document site conditions &amp; requirements</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will possess the following specific requirements:<br />
Post-Secondary Education in Electronics Technology or equivalent<br />
Operational knowledge of Visio, Autocad, VectorWorks, Word, Excel and Outlook<br />
Advanced experience with and knowledge of broadcast and audio visual systems components<br />
The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver&#8217;s license.<br />
Candidate must be fluently bilingual in both written and oral French and English</p>
