It is a story of hard-core commercial film with a romantic angle exhilarating and terrifying journey of two characters. The movie has done its censor screening and got ‘U/A’ certificate. Vishal-Shekhar is the music director for the movie. Gauri Khan, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddhartha Roy Kapur are jointly producing it under UTV motion Pictures. POsitive Point:

If you are an SRK fan, you will love him in this movie. He is simply brilliant in the comedy sequences. It has been a while since we saw such an energetic performance from Shah Rukh Khan. Deepika Padukone is simply gorgeous. She has given a flawless performance and even manages to overshadow SRK in some sequences.

Deepika looks pretty in sarees and her chemistry with SRK is very strong. In fact, this chemistry between SRK and Deepika is what makes Chennai Express so entertaining.

Tamil actor Sathyaraj has a limited role but he has given a classy performance. Nikitin Dheer has imposing screen presence. There are a number of Tamil actors in the movie and they have performed adequately well.

The entertainment quotient in the film is quite high. Good comedy scenes, racy screenplay and nice performances work in the movie’s favour. The song ‘Titli Dil’ has been shot beautifully.

The climax sequence, though a little cliched, manages to engage viewers emotionally.

A must watch movie and a great ID gift by king of the bollywood.

SECURITY agencies may have found a way to intercept highly encrypted BlackBerry Messenger ( BBM) services, but other similar applications such as WhatsApp messenger and free service Viber which enable millions of users to call and text appear to be having a free run.

Encrypted services such as WhatsApp and Viber, available to smartphone users and offering free audio, video, chat services and access to information of location, could be a serious threat to India’s security, a top government official said. These countless number of mobile applications are turning out to be a grey area and is another serious technological challenge for the government, he pointed out.

“ These mobile applications are available to users free of cost through various operating systems like Android which cannot be regulated. They cannot be intercepted, if required, since almost all the servers for these applications are located outside India,” said an official.

“ Any sort of anti- national activity could be carried out communicating through these applications by text messages, audio or video. In fact, free applications like WhatsApp, True Caller, Fring, Viber and many others have now replaced SMSs in communication. This makes the security apparatus more vulnerable,” said cyber law expert Pavan Duggal.

Duggal added, “ Any communication through these mobile applications generates a third- party data which lies with the telecom operator. They are bound to ensure that the data is regulated and accessible to security agencies if they require.” However, leading telecom companies said it is difficult to monitor the huge number of mobile applications.
Rajan S. Mathews, director general, Cellular Operators Association of India, said that telecom companies are only responsible for access to these applications if the government asks for it.

The Changing Face of India, Population Growth Slows in India | Literacy Rate Rises | Sex Ratio Improves

This is one slump in growth rate that the nation can rejoice over.

According to Census 2001- 2011, India’s population has grown at 17.7 per cent as against 21.5 per cent in the previous decade.

The country’s population at present is 1.21 billion, an increase of 181.96 million since 2001. What is even more comforting for the country’s planners is the fact that female growth rate has been better than male growth rate. The male population has gone up by 90.97 million, against a rise of 90.99 in the population of females over the last 10 years.
The rate of growth of the female population is 18.3 per cent, while the male growth rate stands at 17.1 per cent, according to the final census released by Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Tuesday.

Rural rules
While there has been a 3.8 per cent drop in the overall growth rate, there is still scope for improvement as 14 states and Union Territories have registered over 20 per cent growth in population figures. Among the major states, Bihar has recorded the highest decadal growth in population ( 25.4 per cent), surpassing West Bengal, which occupied the first position in 1991- 2001.
More than two- thirds of the country’s population lives in rural areas. As per census 2011, 833.5 million people live in rural areas, while 377.1 million people live in urban centres. Delhi has the highest proportion of urban population at 97.5 per cent. Top five states in terms of urban population are Goa ( 62.2 per cent), Mizoram ( 52.1 per cent), Tamil Nadu ( 48.4 per cent), Kerala ( 47.7 per cent) and Maharashtra ( 45.2 per cent).

Literacy rate in India has risen to 73 per cent in comparison to 64.8 per cent in 2001. While male literacy rate stands at 80.9 per cent, which is 5.6 per cent higher than the previous census, the female literacy rate has been recorded at 64.6 per cent, an increase of 10.9 per cent since 2001. The gap in literacy rate between urban and rural areas and between males and females has also declined. In Census 2011, the gap stands at 16.3 points.

India’s sex ratio in 2011 stands at 943 ( females against 1000 males), which is 10 per cent more than the last census, when it was 933. Haryana has the worst sex ratio at 879, while Kerala is the best at 1,084.

Poor Infrastruture at new IITs creating problems for students

Plagued by poor infrastructure and faculty shortage, the eight new IITs in the country are struggling to meet the deadline for moving into fully operational campuses.

WHEN the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur admitted its first batch of students in August 1951, classes were held in a World War era detention camp and the administrative office was located in the Bomber Command used by the US Air Force during the war days. Half a century later, the fate of eight new IITs set up in 2008 across the country is no better. All of them are operating out of rented buildings, makeshift camps and campuses of other polytechnics or engineering colleges.

None of them are likely to meet the deadline of June 2013 set for moving into fully operational campuses. The first batch of students, set to pass out from new IITs this year, would have no real experience of life in an IIT campus.

“ We dont have enough classrooms in the building and different batches have to be accommodated in the same class,” said Hima Varsha, a first year B Tech ( Computer Engineering) student at IIT Hyderabad.

However, she said, laboratories are comfortable with all modern equipments. Since August 2008, IIT- H has been functioning from a temporary campus located at Yeddumailaram village in Medak district. “ We cannot say it is a very spacious campus or we have excellent infrastructure. It is just enough for us to manage classes. Sometimes we are compelled to run classes on evenings and also on Saturdays to accommodate all the lectures,” admits Dr F A Khan, academic dean of the institute.
In other cities, students and faculty members have to shuttle between two locations. The IIT in Bhubanewsar is operating from two temporary campuses in the city — IIT Kharagpur Extension Centre in Samantpuri and Toshali Bhavan. THE Ministry of Human Resources Development has recently been pulled by the parliamentary committee on higher education for delays in construction of permanent campuses. The ministry says land allotted for eight IITs has been handed over to them. The master plan is ready and architects have been finalised for building permanent campus by IITs at Hyderabad, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Mandi and Indore, while construction is in progress at Ropar and Jodhpur. “ All the IITs have been advised to put in place a mechanism for rigorous monitoring of the project”, the ministry has said.

" We are planning to start construction of the permanent campus very soon. By June 2014, some part of the campus will be ready and we would be able to start shifting from the temporary campus as well," said Ashwini Kumar, Professor In- Charge for Planning and Resources at IIT Gandhinagar, which is currently operating from the building of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College ( VGEC) in Ahmedabad.
While funding has not been a major hurdle for new IITs, part of the delay is due to political reasons.

IIT Jodhpur is a case in point. Ever since an IIT for Rajasthan— and not for Jodhpur – was sanctioned by the central government in July 2007, the issue of the city where it should be established became a political- shuttlecock among politicians. Meanwhile, the first academic session of the new IIT was started in 2008 at the IIT Kanpur campus with 109 undergraduate students in three streams including computer science, mechanical and electrical engineering. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot finally took a decision in favour of Jodhpur — his home town — on the basis of recommendations of a committee set up by him. In late 2009, the centre granted final approval for Jodhpur and the IIT shifted from Kanpur to a transit campus at MBM College in Jodhpur. FACULTY shortage is another issue that new IITs are grappling with.

Each of the new IITs was sanctioned 30 faculty posts every year for the first three years. By this criterion, all the IITs should have at least 90 faculty members. But even in the fifth year of their operation, none of them have reached this level except Hyderabad which claims to have 100 faculty members.

The numbers in other IITs are — Patna ( 63), Jodhpur ( 55), Patna ( 55), Gandhi Nagar ( 75), Bhubaneshwar ( 79), Mandi ( 35) and Indore ( 38). Considering the fact that these IITs are not only offering B Tech in various streams but also M Tech and Ph D, faculty position is definitely precarious. However, the situation is different in some centres where the number of students is low. “

Though faculty shortage is an obvious handicap generally, we have a teacher- student ratio of 1: 10 since there are 570 students in the institute” pointed out Dr Vivek Vijay, spokesperson of IIT Jodhpur.

Even the older IITs are also facing faculty shortages. “ The faculty position needs to be improved if we want to attain academic excellence globally.

Currently the total number of faculty is about 575- 600 and the number of total students is about 10,000. The current faculty- student ratio is 1: 18 which we want to bring down to 1: 10 in next two years,” said B. K Mathur, dean ( administration and coordination) at IIT Kharagpur.

New record: IIM-Ranchi marked 100% placement

This season of placements at Indian Institute of Management witnessed some exceptional numbers. After IIM-A beat the market blues in the placement season now its time for IIM-C to continue the legacy. Economic slowdown not withstanding, the slot zero of Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C)'s final placement process saw finance and consulting majors recruiting students from the campus. As it comes to close IIM-Ranchi has once again topped in terms of placements. The institute has become the first B-school to wrap up its final placements in the group of newly established IIMs in the country.

The committee members who organized the placement at Indian Institute of Management left no stone unturned and have finally found suitable job offers for the large-sized batch comprising 154 candidates from leading companies in the field of marketing, HR, operations and analytics.

The officials of IIM-R placement cell, claims that it has become the 1st IIM among those which have been recently established to get cent percent placements.

"The batch of 154 management trainees was 2.5 times bigger than the previous batch. IIM-R has faired well in the final placements with job offers for students from 65 domestic and international companies, in addition to 34 new companies in the list," said Sunny Sumanshu of the placement cell.

Officials in the placement committee said, "Among the B-school graduates from the new IIMs, IIM-R students have received the highest stipend, which is close to Rs 1.70 lakh in the domestic market, while the average stipend is Rs 52, 000."

Among the top global and Indian firms, which came for recruitmets this month, are HSBC, JP Morgan Chase, Societe Generale, ICICI, Yes Bank, Kotak Mahindra, ING Vysya, First Rand Bank, Fullerton Securities, Unicon Securities, and IL&FS from the finance domain, whereas from HR the recruiters included Michael Page, RPG, Beckton Dickinson, UB Spirits, Heidrick and Struggles, ABC consultants, HT Media, Mizuho Securities, Maruti, Godfrey Phillips, Escorts, WWF, Berger Paints, IL&FS, Globe capital and Stanton Chase. KPMG offered live projects to 6 students of the PGDHRM batch.

Apart from several MNC banks visiting the campus, the IIM students will also be working for a boutique investment banking firm based in Mumbai.

The official added, "A manufacturer of snowmobiles, ATV and neighbourhood electric vehicles based in the US recruited exclusively from IIM-R. A major international sports retailer and manufacturer also offered marketing projects to our students. Niche profiles offered in the domain were Sports Management, International Marketing, Brand Management, Retail Management and e-commerce."

He even claimed that with an objective of becoming a leading institute in the field of business analytics, IIM-R signed an MoU with IBM for setting up a business analytics lab.

The institute also organized the first business analytics conclave, which witnessed participation from companies including AT Kearney, Capitol One, HP, IBM, HSBC Analytics and Fiserv. The recruiters who participated were PwC, Hewlett Packard, IBM, KPMG, Index Advisory, DataWise and IL&FS.

The final placements for the newbie IIM-R has surpassed expectations with record placements in such a short span of time.

Kota - The Epicentre of Coaching in Competitive Exam Season

There are roughly 1.5 lakh young boys and girls that are presently studying in one or the other coaching institutes in the city. As per the official website of Kota, there exists 129 big and small coaching institutes in this city in Hadauti region of Rajasthan. They teach basically for joint engineering entrance tests — IIT- JEE (JEE Main+ Advance)/ AIEEE (JEE Main) — and pre- medical tests.

What V. K. Bansal, founder of Bansal classes and now its chairmancum- managing director, started as tuition classes in 1981 has now become the famous Bansal Classes Pvt Ltd. Following Bansal’s footsteps, several coaching institutes have mushroomed in Kota and it forms a major part of the ` 20,000 crore coaching industry in India.

Most of the premier coaching institutes have their new campuses in Kota’s Indraprasth Industrial Area developed by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation ( RIICO), the state enterprise for industrial promotion.

Several electronic units sold out their industrial sheds to coaching institutes and the the industrial area has promptly changed into a commercial one.

Cut- throat competition A student has to pay as much as ` 1 lakh tuition fee and an equal amount on lodging and boarding, Anonymous said. It makes the coaching market of Kota worth ` 300 crore. As such, unlike traditional tuition centres, top institutes not only look, behave and have a corporate approach but are engaged in cut- throat competition. Latest to join the market is Eduwave launched by three Jain- brothers who were the faculty members at Bansal Classes.

The corporate character is also attracting big investment companies. Equity broker and financial services group CLSA and Milestone Religare, which have their headquarters in Hong Kong, have reportedly invested ` 100 crore and ` 60 crore respectively in Resonance Eduventures.

Franklin Templeton and Nadathur Group, owned by N. S. Raghavan of Infosys, have invested ` 50 crore and ` 54 crore respectively in the rival Career Point.

“ This unhealthy competition has had its negative impact on the students as they lose faith in the system of education that Kota was known for. Students don’t know when their teacher will shift to another institute,” Bansal said. In some cases bright students, too are stolen by rival institutes by offering financial allurement in the form of scholarships and even cash, he added.

The annual pay package of a teacher ranges between ` 15 lakh to ` 50 lakh and may go up to ` 2 crore in the case of a star teacher, Jain said.

“ It is in this background that getting an opportunity to teach in an institute has become a status symbol even for those employed in government schools,” social activist Brijesh Vijayvargia said.

The mushrooming of coaching institutes has not only given an economic boost with several hostels and paying guest accommodations coming up in the vicinity of the institutes but has also placed Kota in a prominent place on India’s academic map.

Underwater Optic Fiber Cable cut; Internet services affected nationwide

IS your Internet connection running frustratingly slow? Are your e- mails not going? Are you having problems with mobile connectivity? The bad news is that worse is headed your way in the coming days after a band of scuba divers hacked undersea cables off the coast of Egypt last week.

India’s access to overseas Internet content has been disrupted after four crucial undersea cables were damaged. The entire access link is now being routed through submarine cables across the Pacific after the disruption on the Atlantic route. Major Indian telecom companies such as BSNL, MTNL, Bharti Airtel and Tata Teleservices have been facing Internet disruptions and slowdowns but they expect normalcy in the next 10 days or so. The majority of voice and data signals are transmitted through these cables.

The four cables that have been sabotaged include EIG ( Europe India Gateway) that connects India with 11 European, African and West Asian nations, TGN- Intra Asia Cable System ( TGN- IA), SEA- ME- WE4 South East Asia– Middle East– Western Europe4) and I- ME- WE ( India- Middle East- Western Europe). The repairs could take anywhere between a few days and more than a week.

“ We have cross- connected our network in different cable areas in the affected cable.
We have also aligned our network tariff through three other cables on Atlantic route,” said a top Bharti Airtel official. Vodafone India said it does not have exposure to network via cable submarine, so it is not affected. A submarine communications cable is a cable laid on the seabed between landbased stations to carry telecommunication signals across stretches of ocean. The first submarine communications cables, laid in the 1850s, carried telegraphy traffic. Modern cables use optical fibre technology to carry digital data, which include telephone, Internet and private data traffic.

State- run BSNL said its networks have slowed down by at least 21 per cent. “ Because of this disruption, BSNL has lost around 21 per cent of its total international bandwidth. BSNL is pursuing with its international bandwidth partners to restore the connectivity expeditiously,” said a BSNL official. Action is being taken by BSNL to divert the domestic traffic judiciously ensuring that the request for Internet bandwidth is passed on the international gateway only if found necessary.

“ This sudden unexpected bandwidth reduction in the international bandwidth is suspected to cause some delay in accessing various international sites and their responses,” the BSNL said in a statement. Reliance Communications, which has a good number of data subscribers, said all its cable systems that operate under Reliance Globalcom are normal. “ Reliance has 200 gigabits of available capacity to serve the needs of the impacted service providers,” said a top RCom official.

A telecom ministry official said the recent sabotage of submarine cables was not an isolated case. “ In 2008 there were three separate incidents of major damage to submarine optical cables. The incident caused damage involving up to five high- speed Internet submarine communications cables in the Mediterranean Sea and Middle East between January 23 and February 4, 2008, which led to Internet disruptions and slowdowns in India and the Middle East,” said the official.

The official said that the international consortium of operators in the affected region are working on repair and restoring services of the affected submarine cable system.

Secularism refers to the view that human activities and decisions, especially political ones, should be unbiased by religious influence. This is the real meaning of secularism given by great persons of world. But i am talking here Secularism in India. What it really means, is it mean the right of politicians to play religion based politics with the tag of secularism or it means overall development for every section of society.
As i think in India, politicians use muslims as vote bank cream on the name of secularism. The leaders use secularism as there weapon to win elections, and these leaders define secularism as it belongs to the development of minority, sorry its not minority, it is really belongs to development of muslims only. According to these type of leaders, those persons are not secular who are proudly say that they are hindu or follow hindu. According to these leaders, those persons are secular only who are muslim and follow muslim ideology. They are not only cheating the muslim public but also their country. Leaders like Mulayam Singh Yadav, Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Sonia Gandhi,etc. and parties like Congress, S.P., J.D.U., TMC, BSP, etc are only seculars. I just want to ask a question from these leaders, if i am hindu, christian, sikh or any other religion except muslims and i follow the ideology of these religions, then i am not secular. Who are you to define secularism or which person or organization gave you power to give a tag of secular to any person.
I have read many articles in newspaper and watch many debate on tv regarding this issue in last 4 months. I am feeling very shame when i read any article or watch any show regarding issue. In which direction our country is going, and i am damn sure that this is not the direction of development, this is the direction of destruction. I read the statement of Nitish Kumar and his party members, i read there views on the candidate of Prime Minister and these statements are really shocking. I never expect these words from Nitish Kumar, as i think when anybody talk about Prime Minister candidate, you need to talk about development done by that person not about person who belongs to muslim, hindu, christian or anything.
Whenever, i read the news about Gujrat Danga, i am feeling very funny that the person who face this danga are now living normal life there and giving there contribution in the development works and very much happy with the good governance of their state but those person who doesn't belongs to that state are playing the politics of divide and rule on the basis of religion, those persons who doesn't did anything thing to that state, who give them power to say anything about that state which is in the sky on the matter of development for which they didn't do anything ever. I want to know from those persons who are reacting after regular interval on the topic of Gujrat that where your state stands, why are you cheating citizens, why are you cheating muslims and most important why are you cheating your nation?
The time come that we start thinking about the country which is free from religion based politics under the tag of secularism. I want answer from all those fake secular politician and persons that "Is secular word only meaningful for muslims". Is christian, sikhs, etc are not minorities?
I only want from our country and citizen that change your thinking and mentality about secularism, because secularism doesn't means politics based on religion or based on muslim. The real meaning of secularism in the terms of politics is overall development of any country which benefits every section of society.

Everybody know Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are the biggest enemy of each other in bollywood industry. But what is the really going there with the fight. Is they only want to show that they are enemy but reality is far behind this thing.

But if u analyse everything about this fight then something strike on your mind that are they fighting or they just making there fan fool. If u remember the days before 2010 when Salman Khan was the biggest flop of the boxoffice. His every movie was just waste of money except one or two movie. But Shahrukh Khan was the king of Indian Cinema that time. As everybody know Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan was the best friend of Indian Cinema and they help each other with any extent. So, as a friend its responsibility of Shahrukh Khan to do something for his best buddy and help him in his bad time. And the fight was just a part of that plan. If that fight was plan then hats off to the both superstar that the plan is working so greatly. Salman Khan is now the blockbuster star of the current time and Shahrukh Khan is always great with his movies. Because if you see the graph before 2009, Shahrukh Khan was the heart of Indian Cinema and after 2009, Shahrukh Khan continues his stardom and his every movie is hit on the boxoffice. Whatever people say but everybody shahrukh’s every movie is the hit. Ra-one and Don-2 was also crossed Rs.200 crores.

If you see overall things, then Shahrukh Khan is still India’s biggest superstar and Salman Khan is also become superstar now after 2010. So, Is this a plan of Srk and Sallu to make us fool by there fight but in reality they are the best buddies of bollywood. They are best friends and can do anything for each other!

Supreme Cort slapped government, Supreme Court rejects Centre's plea for 4.5% sub-quota for Muslims

In a setback for the Union government, the Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to stay Andhra Pradesh high court order quashing 4.5 per cent sub-quota for minorities in central educational institutions, including in IITs this year.

The SC said the government's decision to implement 4.5% sub quota from January this year did not prima facie appear to be supported by constitutional provisions.

"We are not inclined to grant stay," a bench comprising justices K S Radhakrishnan and J S Khehar said while issuing notices to the petitioner on whose PIL the high court had quashed the 4.5 percent sub-quota for minorities.

It further said that the December 22, 2011 office memorandum on the issue of sub-quota did not have the legislative support.

The apex court said, unlike the 27% reservation to OBCs in central educational institutions, the carving of 4.5% sub-quota is not supported by even a law.

The SC said it appears that the carving out of 4.5% sub-quota was purely based on religious considerations.

With today's apex court decision, the OBC students will get an additional 443 seats in IITs, which were kept aside for Muslims under 4.5% sub-quota.

Wednesday is the last of counselling for IIT admissions and the government ended up disappointed being not able to push through the sub-quota in IITs.

Salman Khan to play a superhero with magical locks

From being the actor who had to get hair weaving done to counter a receding hairline, to playing a Samson-like character with special powers in his tresses, Salman Khan has surely come a long way.

In his upcoming project Sher Khan, to be directed by brother Sohail Khan, he will play a superhero with special powers in his shoulder length hair. What's more, in keeping with theBollywood legacy of Sher Khan being a Pathan(a la Pran in Prakash Mehra's 1973 blockbusterZanjeer), Salman's character too, will have similar roots.

Interestingly, last time Salman played a Pathan was in Sawan Kumar's 1991 film Sanam Bewafa. But Salman Khan's Sher Khan will not be the stereotypical gendermixing (hum bolegi, tum sunegi) Pathan. In the words of writer Rumi Jaffery, Sohail's home production will "feature Salman in a look he has never tried before." Needless to say, this superhero will be quite different from Superman, Spider Man or the indigenous Krrish or G.One.

In an earlier version of the script, Sher Khan was meant to be a South Indian action star a laDabangg or Rowdy Rathore. "Kona Venkatesh who wrote Salman's Ready was summoned to do the screenplay for the film. Now, Sohail and Salman have changed their mind. They roped in Rumi Jaffery to write an action film for the kids instead," a source told us.

"Though he has had a massive fan following among kids, none of Salman bhai's films have been specially targeted at children. Dilip Shukla (who's also writing Dabangg 2) and I are designingbhai's first film aimed at the young viewers," added Rumi.

And the superhero Salman won't be flying in the air wearing a cape. "He will be a hero that kids can identify with. The action scenes won't have him beating up a dozen goons single-handedly. He has done these things many times before," said Rumi. We learnt that Salman's action scenes will be inspired by the ancient forms of martial arts from Kerala.

But the leading lady opposite superhero Salman is yet to be finalised. "It has to be someone who can perform well. Since Salman bhai is changing in Sher Khan, the leading lady can't be familiar either. We're looking. We have time. We start in October."

Critics Rowdy Rathore....... Rowdy Rathore has old Khiladi, no new tricks

Prabhudheva's 'Rowdy Rathore' is a typical masala film, packed with romance, drama, melodrama and lots of action. The film is loaded with Tamil-style punch lines, slow motion action sequences where blood quietly trickles on to dusty ground and menacing-looking villains who live in a Ramgarh-styled (remember, Sholay) haunt.

The protagonist is a smart small time conman who is ready to mend his ways when he falls in love. Just when he is ready to turn over a new leaf, he runs into a small girl who thinks he is her father and some goons who are people vying for his blood. A few chases and some confusion later, we realize that Shiva (our conman) has been mistaken for Vikram Singh Rathore, an upright and courageous police officer.

Prabhudheva manages to blend the many ingredients that can spice-up this potpourri. However, too much time is spent on the back story. We would much rather see more of Rowdy Rathore than a long tragic flashback.

Akshay Kumar in a double role returns to the action genre after quite a while. He is definitely much better in this film than the over-the-top comic roles that he has been doing lately. There is ample display of the very voluptuous Sonakshi Sinha's curves. While she has little more to do than look good and gyrate to strong pelvic thrusts, she does justice to her role.

If you have a high threshold for mindless nonsense then you must go and watch this movie. Its Akshay Kumar's 'Dabangg', may be not as much fun but good time pass.

IIT-JEE 2012 answers & individual scores to be uploaded on JEE website on Thursday

Here's some good news for all IIT-JEE aspirants; all those who took this year’s Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) will be able to see their answers, the correct responses and individual scores on the JEE website from Thursday.

IIT Delhi, which conducted the examination this year, will post on the website the answers given by students in the exam. This facility allows students, using their roll numbers, to see the correct answers, what they had marked and their scores.
The scanned copies of each student’s optical response sheets (ORS) will be uploaded on Saturday on all JEE websites.

“The final results will be displayed on May 18. Students can see the answer keys from Thursday and their ORS between May 5 and May 10,” said RK Shevgaonkar, director, IIT Delhi.

The purpose of uploading the answer sheets and answer keys is to provide transparency and to give the students a chance to lodge complaints.

“We will deal with all complaints related to the marking of answers in the sheets. Say, a student has marked a circle partially and has not been given a mark for that. A committee of faculty members will analyse the student’s claim and give marks accordingly,” said M Balakrishnan, dean, post graduate studies at IIT Delhi. Candidates can submit requests for revision in case of any perceived error in the machine-read responses through the website by May 10.

“We want to make sure that the student is satisfied with the evaluation and can see how it has been conducted. I don’t, however, think we will receive many complaints.”

This year over 4.79 lakh students took the test for close to 10,000 seats in the 16 IITs.
