Despite the sluggish outlook, the defence sector is active and it shows in the no. of bookings for  participants for the aeroshow. Though there were a slight increase in tariff, the bookings are good. When compared to last year, there were around new 300 rooms added in Bangalore. With many bookings made in advance, hotel industry will look for some more shows !

The palace is known for its bird paintings and private lake.

These rates will come into effect from Sept 1 2008.

The bidders will enter into a long term lease with DIAL for 30 years extendable for a further 30 years. It will also have to pay a annual rental (increasable of 5.5% every year) to DIAL and a intial refundable security deposit.
