No Idea is a Progressive Rock band from Chennai, formed in 22nd August 2000 as a band influenced by heavy metal, progressive and alternative styles of music playing the covers of bands like Megadeth, Queensryche, Dream Theater and the likes. The inevitable clash of teen egos led to the formation of a more mature band, musically and otherwise. With each of the members of the band having different influences and playing styles, the band is able to successfully fuse as an entity and produce a coherent sound, high on harmonic and melodic content. No Idea is one of a handful of Indian rock acts that have been successful in playing their music to a very appreciative international audience, having toured Norway in the latter half of 2005. Fans of the band's music have drawn comparisons to 80's giants, Toto and Journey. The band is known as one of India's most successful bands with female vocalist. They have performed and won many college fests like Bangalore's Rock for Peace in 2002, Mumbai's Independence-Rock in 2002, Chennai's June Rock Out 2001-2003 and most notably RSJ's Great Indian Rock Festival 2004, 2005 & 2006 at Delhi. The band has also won GIR 2005 judged by John Myung (Dream Theater) and their track 'Journey On' was voted as 3rd best song of 2006 by Rave Magazine. They have released a self titled EP with 7 songs in 2005.

Medicis is a Nu-Metal band from Pondicherry, formed in July 2002. The band consist of Frenchman and Swedes settled in India. They define their music as nu-metal, and it has a tinge of dark metal to it as well, though this manifests itself mostly through the vocals. The band has participated in many national level festivals and have won Best Band, Best Vocalist and Best Drummer at NLS Strawberry Fields in November 2003. They have played Mood Indigo-Livewire (IIT Bombay) and participated in and won various college festivals throughout their career. The band disbanded in 2006.

Punkh is a Nu-Rock band from Delhi, formed in 2004 at Germany under the name 'Guru'. Punkh is a collective of musicians from Germany and India, grouped and fronted by Singer/Songwriter Deepak Nair [Dean]. After releasing their debut album 'Ghoom' with Times Music, India in 2006, the band changed their name to Punkh because lead singer and founder member Deepak Nair decided on moving back to India. From 2004 to 2007 post release of Ghoom they toured through Europe and Germany and competed for the prestigious Rockbuster Das Ding New Comer Contest in 2004 and went on to win the same. In short of a Tsunami of Combined Musical Fornication, they gave birth to the Self titled album, which was recorded in the winter of 2006 in Germany and co-produced and doctored by Audiotreatz. The album was immediately picked up by EMI Virgin Music, India and released in 2007 with the debut music video Punjabi Na Aawe on Mtv and Channel V. The song was also featured on an international compilation album released by EMI Music, France. By now, they had toured coast to coast, across India and got themselves nine back-to-back gigs in Singapore, for the Kalaa Utsavam festival In 2009, from where, EMI Virgin featured the song Yunajaa on the compilation album India Rocks, featuring top Indian bands. India's leading online independent artist portal ArtistAloud.com released the songs Karma, Insaaf and Tanha in 2011. The band is currently working on their second full-length album titled 'Karma', which will be released soon.

Peter Cat Recording Co. or PCRC is a Gypsy Jazz / Cabaret band from Delhi, formed in 2009. The band started as a solo project of Suryakant Sawhney. The sound is inspired by 60s/70s Bollywood music, which was in turn inspired by American music of the 50s, such as big band music and soul. Lyrically, they choose to write about prostitutes, deception, android artists and films coming to life. They embarked on a road tour of the country, driving over 7500 kms and played gigs in Goa, Chennai, Pune, Bombay, Chandigarh and Bangalore.

Ontologus (previously known as 'Requiem') is an Extreme Progressive Metal band from Bangalore, formed in early 2009. Most of the band’s work is written and arranged by formative members and guitarists Arvind and Yashaswi who have been influenced by too many artistes to cite any specific influences. Ontologus has supported bands such as Lacuna Coil, De Profundis, Cypher 16 and Kryptos in the past.
