This is the news of one godown in the country. Like this how many godown in the country food is getting wasted no statics have been published. If these foods are not allowed to rotten govt can easily agree to the figure 4 kg per month.

I am a lay man in this line but I have heard that beggars in the roads collect food staff and dry them in the sun and keep it stocked. In hard days they boil these foods and eat them and survive. If that idea can be scientifically prepared packed and preserved no food grain can be wasted. If the beggar’s food is not getting spoiled I think ours also will remain in tact.

Preservation is the key solution to this. Will agricultural scientists break their head in bringing out a technique to preserve these precious food grains? This method is perfectly Indian which our great grand mothers used to follow in preserving food. I believe our village mothers know this technique. Will some one show light on this line of preservation?
