The weather has been beautiful in Fairfield Bay and it’s a great time to get out and golf! Indian Hills Golf Course is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through February. In March the course will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. FYI – On March 5th and 6th the greens will be aerated, the front nine on the 5th and the back nine on the 6th. Get ready for the Indian Hills Golf Association St. Patrick’s Day Scramble on March 16th, and the One Person Scramble on March 30th at 12 p.m. Sign up for the scrambles at the Pro Shop. It’s a great time to take lessons as well. Just talk to Zack Witt at the Pro Shop about lessons, joining the IHGA, and the benefits of being a member at Indian Hills Country Club. What a great time to learn to play golf, work on your skills or just have some fun! Be sure to stop by the 19th Hole for your favorite beverage and lunch.

Valentine’s Dinner & Dance

Another exciting event for Valentine’s Day in Fairfield Bay, a Valentine’s Dinner and Dance will be held on Friday, February 10 at Indian Hills Country Club. Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the 19th hole and the Sunset Room. Dancing will be in the Fairfield Room from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with entertainment by “Handmade Moments.” A cash bar will be available for your favorite beverage. Indian Hills has recently made some very exciting changes with menu changes and a warm friendly atmosphere that make you want to come back time and time again. Winter hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.; Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and closed on Sunday and Monday. Come enjoy the new changes and the great food. It’s the perfect solution for lunch or dinner with friends, family dining, or for that special occasion for the two of you. Romance is in the air at Indian Hills Country Club.

Exciting Changes Come To The Country Club

Indian Hills Country Club has a new atmosphere, a new menu and new suppliers for fresh meats and fish. Things have definitely changed for the better in every way that counts when you are thinking of dining out. Thanks in large part to the addition of Clint Stevens, who has a very strong background in fine dining and holds a culinary arts degree that is serving us well. Clint has lots of experience in planning, preparing and serving delicious dishes that will surprise and delight you.

If you haven’t been out to the Club in the last few weeks, you are missing out on lots of good food, a welcoming and gracious staff and very good service. Since there have been major changes in everything from food supplies, preparation, wait staff and even housekeeping and decor, you owe it to yourselves to pick up the phone, call your friends and family and make a reservation for a dinner you will thoroughly enjoy.

Please note the hours of operation are as follows: Tuesday and Thursday: 11 to 2; Wednesday 11 to 8; Friday and Saturday 11 to 9 p.m. and closed on Sunday and Monday. John asked us to convey the flexibility that the Club offers. If you arrive for dinner at 8:30 on Friday or Saturday evening, you will still enjoy a pleasant and unhurried experience. If you have a favorite dish that is not shown on the menu, you can request it anyway. So long as the ingredients are in the kitchen, your dish will be prepared.

In other words, you will discover that the Country Club is much more user-friendly these days. After all, without you there can be no club!
A Valentine’s Dinner and Dance will be held on Friday, February 10. Dinner will start at 5 p.m. with seating available until 9 p.m. in the 19th hole and the Sunset Room. The menu will be our normal menu with some fresh specials.

Looking for a nice cozy place to have your Christmas party? Indian Hills Country Club Fireside Room is available after December 16th. It’s a great place to have a family, corporate, club or organization party. The fireplace will be lit and you can even hang your own stockings. Talk to Ryan about reserving the room and dining options. Indian Hills Country Club will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but will be open on New Year’s Eve! Check back for details. NEW Greens in 2012

After 38 years, Indian Hills will be getting new greens in 2012! The project is set to start around July 7th with an anticipated re-opening date of August 30th! We will be converting to MiniVerde Bermuda grass from Penncross Bent grass. The members and guests can expect great things from the new greens including smooth, quick putting surfaces and a dark green genetic color. The MiniVerde Bermuda grass is very cost efficient requiring less cultural practices to maintain while still providing a championship like putting surface!
