Bullett Raja is an action entertainer, written and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Rahul Mittra, Nitin Tej Ahuja and Tigmanshu Dhulia, under the banner of BrandSmith Motion Pictures and Moving Pictures. The film is presented by Fox Star Studios. The film will feature Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Jimmy Shergill in leading roles, whilst Chunky Pandey, Ravi Kishan, Gulshan Grover and Vidyut Jamwal will feature in pivotal roles. The film is set against the backdrop of West Bengal-based mafia while dealing with the underworld.

Ram-Leela is a romantic-drama film directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the eponymous leads. The film is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo and Juliet, set in violent times.

Soundtrack:

This is the second time Sanjay Leela Bansali will compose for a film, the first being the 2010 film Guzaarish. Monty Sharma who composed for Saawariya (2007) returns after long gap. The lyrics are penned by Siddharth–Garima. The soundtrack album was released on 2 October 2013 after a delay due to Ranveer Singh's health issues.

Controversy:

Several religious groups opposed the Movie claiming that the movie title was misleading as the movie had nothing to do with Lord Rama. A Local Court in Mumbai has issued an “ex-parte ad-interim stay” over the use of term Ram Leela in the Movie Title. A Delhi court Tuesday 12th November stayed the release of Bollywood movie "Ram-leela", starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The movie is scheduled to be released Nov 15.

Additional District Judge A.S. Jayachandra, in an ex-parte interim order, restrained the movie's director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Eros promoters from releasing the movie till further orders. The court's order came on a suit filed by six petitioners, including Prabhu Samaj Dharmik Ram Leela Committee, saying the movie hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus as it contains sex, violence and vulgarity. The plea said the word "Ram Leela" is associated with Lord Rama and people will also watch this movie with an expectation that it would be related to his life but the film will hurt their sentiments.

It added that the name of the movie should be changed as it has nothing to do with mythology and it is misleading.

The title "Ram-leela", understood by Hindus as enactment of the life and story of Lord Ram (Maryada Purushottam), is nowhere doing the same. On the contrary, the film is portraying sex, violence and vulgarity, which is deeply hurting the religious sentiments and feelings of Hindus, the petitioners said.

Special Chabbis is a heist drama film directed by Neeraj Pandey of A Wednesday fame. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles with Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. The film is based on a real life group of con artists who pulled off many clever robberies during 1980's, and robbed famous businessmen and politicians by pretending to be the CBI or Income tax officers, on the pretext of conducting raids they would take away all the black money hoarded by them, the film also takes its concept from the real-life daring heist dated 19-March-1987 where the same group posing as CBI officers executed a daylight income tax raid on the Opera House branch of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri in Mumbai, and disappeared with jewellery worth lakhs. The movie is set in the early 1980's.

The film takes its foundations from the infamous roberry of 19-March-1987, when 26 people posing as income tax officials raided a famous jewellery store in Opera House, Mumbai. They had walked away with jewels worth lakhs. This incident shocked jewellers across Zaveri Bazaar. According to the sources, Neeraj waited for almost three years after A Wednesday, as he wanted Akshay Kumar for the film. Akshay will play the leader of the 26-men army in the film. His character name will interestingly be "Mr. Ajay Singh" (meaning 'unconquered lion' in English) .

Manoj Bajpai has been roped in to play the real CBI officer, and Anupam Kher will also be playing a vital role in the film. Kajal Aggarwal plays a specially-written role of Mon Singh's love-interest (she is the only female character in the film). Earlier actors Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan were roped in to play the lead. But the role went to Kumar as he was Pandey's first choice. Kajal Aggarwal is playing role of a school teacher.

AkaashVani is directed by Luv Ranjan of Pyaar ka Punchnama fame, and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banner Wide Frame Pictures. After the cult hit Pyaar Ka Punchnama, AkaashVani is the second film from this producer-director duo. The film stars Kartik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles.

The film starts with Akaash (Kartik Tiwari) & Vani (Nushrat Bharucha), both setting out on their journey towards a common destination – St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. It so happens that the moment they meet, their life takes an unusual turn. As they walk towards their first class in college, they are on their way to share their lives with each other for the next three years. Vani generates a calmness and control in Akaash that he never had and Akaash gives Vani a streak of rebellion she could never think of possessing within herself. And then it happens, for no reason except for the fact that they complete each other, they fall in love. In three years, Akaash & Vani become companions not only in the important things of life but also in the most stupid, mundane, irrational parts of each other’s life. But as college ends, they have to separate and when this separation reaches a point where it seems their destiny is to get each other back against the will of their families, society and their own dilemmas. The journey of Akaash & Vani’s struggle to find each other once again in the world they first met is the story of AkaashVani.

Luv Ranjan has penned the lyrics himself while the music has been composed by Hitesh Sonik. The film being a romantic venture had a lot of scope for romantic tracks. Pad Gaye Ji, Rumani and Tera Mera Naam are the only tracks which hold a lot of promise and will have repeat values.

Race 2 is an action thriller film directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced under the Tips Music Films banner and is the first major release of the year. It is the sequel to the 2008 hit film, Race, and stars an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan reprising their roles as Robert D'Costa and Ranveer Singh from the previous film while Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel are new additions to the cast. Bipasha Basu will reprise her role of Sonia in a special appearance.

IBN Live gave the soundtrack four stars of five saying, "Race 2's soundtrack is racy to the core. In a nutshell, the album is bound to be a hit. Let's just hope the movie is as good as the soundtrack is!" Shresht Poddar, of Score Magazine, gave the album three out of five stars saying, "Personally, as a standalone album with no biases, it is enjoyable but it could have done with better lyrics. The tracks are foot-tapping and they would appeal to the masses. But if you compare it to Race, the album undoubtedly falls flat." Goku, of IndiBeats! included the album in the 'average' category commenting that "No doubt Pritam has worked on the album well, there is a fair deal of DJing done, but something is amiss and hence the album is worth a hear, nothing more."

Race 2 was released in 3200 screens in India and the film is the third biggest release ever for a Hindi film after Ek Tha Tiger(3300 screens) and Dabangg 2(3700 screens). Race 2 received mixed reviews from critics. FilmGola, aggregated Race 2 reviews and has given a rating of 2.67 out of 5 based on 18 critics. Madhureeta Mukherjee of Times of India rated Race 2 3 out of 5 star while commenting "Heists, hot-babes, roulette, raging cars, gizmos and gags - Director duo, Abbas-Mustan have thrown in everything with pompous grandeur, save for a riveting plot that shocks or stuns". Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave the film 2.5 out of 5 stars and said "The writing isn't watertight, the film lacks a hit score, the climax is far from effective and overall, Race 2 pales in comparison to Race." Race 2 gets negative reviews everywhere. Subhash K Jha of IANS rated this movie 2 out of 5 Stars.Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV gave it a score of 1.5 out of 5 and feels "This is a wreck of a movie strictly for action junkies who might be looking for a feverish two-and-a-half-hour ride that is far more giddy than heady"

The soundtrack of David consists of 15 tracks composed by eight various artists, including Prashant Pillai and Mikey McCleary, who had worked on Nambiar's Shaitan, too, and independent bands Bramfatura, Maatibaani and Modern Mafia. Tamil film composer Anirudh Ravichander of "Why This Kolaveri Di" fame, also contributed one song, making his Bollywood debut. One of the tracks would be a new version of the famous traditional Qawwali number "Dama Dam Mast Qalandar".

Khiladi 786 is directed by Ashish R Mohan, ^{and features} Akshay Kumar in the title role alongside Asin playing the female lead; Mithun Chakraborty, Paresh Rawal and Himesh Reshammiya will also appear in pivotal roles. Dabangg 2 is directed and produced by Arbaaz Khan under the banner of Arbaaz Khan Productions. The film will feature Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha reprising their roles from the previous film, whilst Prakash Raj plays the main antagonist. It is a sequel to the 2010 film Dabangg and is set in the city of Kanpur.

The first look poster unveiled on 8th November 2012, whilst the theatrical trailer was premiered on 10th November 2012, on Khan's reality show Bigg Boss 6. It was also revealed in cinemas on the day of Diwali along with Son of Sardaar.

Shanghai is a political thriller film directed by Dibakar Banerjee, starring Emraan Hashmi, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Amin Raj and based on the novel 'Z' by Vassilis Vassilikos. It is scheduled to release on 8 June 2012.

The album is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. It received positive responses. Musicperk.com rated it 8/10 quoting "That makes a Hat-Trick for V-S. Must Buy". Rowdy Rathore is an action thriller film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. The film features Akshay Kumar in double role opposite Sonakshi Sinha and is scheduled for release on 1 June 2012. This film is a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu. It will mark the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre after 7 years.

The story is about Shiva (Akshay Kumar), a small conman who charms every ladies heart in a blink. Shiva falls in love with Priya (Sonakshi Sinha), a pretty girl whom he met at a wedding he wasn’t invited to. Into this picture perfect world enters six year old Neha who inexplicably believes Shiva to be her father. The rest of the movie deals with what changes and responsibilities does this little girl brings to his life and how he becomes the only hope for people of a small town in Bihar to get rid of their ruthless MLA and his mafia goons.

The soundtrack is by Sajid-Wajid. Music was released 25 April. The line "Chinta Ta Ta Ta" and part of its music has been borrowed from the original song of its Telugu version which was confirmed by Wajid himself. Kumar Sanu, Ajay Mondal, Sonu Saxena & Chandan Sharma had sung a song for this film making his comeback after 5 years.

Yash Raj Films has released the first look of Ek Tha Tiger in an exclusive first-of-its-kind online digital poster.

The romantic thriller stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and is being directed by Kabir Khan. The film is based on a story by Aditya Chopra and the screenplay and dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra.

This will be Salman Khan's first venture with Yashraj Films. His father, Salim Khan had earlier written Trishul (1978), Kaala Patthar (1979) and Deewar (1975) for the banner. Also, director Kabir Khan teams up with Katrina Kaif, Pritam Chakraborty and Aseem Mishra again after the successful New York.

Though originally scheduled to release on 1 June, 2012, the film was shifted to August 2012 since Aamir Khan wanted to release his next film, Talaash directed by Reema Kagti, on 1st June. It would be a Eid release.

The film's original score and soundtrack will be composed by Sohail Sen. The lyrics will be penned by Neelesh Misra. A song titled Jaaniyan which had vocals by Bilawal Baloch, a Pakistani artist was reported to have been leaked from the film's soundtrack. However, YRF officials denied the news, saying that the album was not in any danger of being leaked.

Talaash is a psychological thriller written and directed by Reema Kagti. The movie, which features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in pivotal roles, is produced by Excel Entertainment, and is scheduled to release on June 1, 2012.

Following the release of her first film, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2007), Kagti was approached by several production houses to direct their next film.However, unable to find any films that interested her, Kagti began working on a new script with long-time friend Zoya Akhtar in early 2010. She said, "Zoya and I thought of the story and co-wrote it. We do a lot of writing together. We are also best friends so it is fun and there is a huge comfort factor." Upon finalizing the story, she approached Aamir Khan with the film in November 2010 who instantly agreed to produce and star in it. Since the start of pre-production, the project has faced several speculations regarding its title. On November 11, 2011, Khan confirmed that the film was titled Talaash.

Jannat 2 is a sequel to the 2008 hit film, Jannat. The film is directed by Kunal Deshmukh, and produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt under the Vishesh Films' banner. Emraan Hashmi, Randeep Hooda, Imran Zahid and Esha Gupta will feature in lead roles. Its storyline is based on the issue of illegal arms in Delhi. Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen is an action comedy film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is the sequel to the 2010 commercially successful movie Housefull. The movie stars Akshay Kumar opposite Asin Thottumkal in the lead. Also featuring are Ritesh Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor and Chunkey Pandey from the original whilst new additions include John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee, Shreyas Talpade and others. The official theatrical trailer revealed on 9 February 2012, along with Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. The film is scheduled for release on 5 April 2012. Recently, the making of song "Papa Toh Band Bajaye" from the film, was leaked to YouTube in early January 2012. Soon enough, reports came to announce that the song was ripped off an Australian track, We Speak No Americano which was widely popular.

Agent Vinod is a spy film written and directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film, produced by Saif Ali Khan under his banner of Illuminati Films, features the actor in the title role alongside Kareena Kapoor. Originally set to release in December 2011, Agent Vinod was postponed following a delay in its shooting schedule and was released on 23 March 2012.

According to Raghavan, Agent Vinod is not a remake of the 1977 action film of the same name. He described it as a realistic film with full of action pieces, thrills and characters. The movie was shot in Morocco and Latvia. The music is composed by Pritam.

Ra.One, starring Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles, is directed by Anubhav Sinha. The soundtrack of Ra.One was composed by Vishal-Shekhar whilst the lyrics were penned by Atahar Panchi, Vishal Dadlani and Kumaar. Director Anubhav Sinha announced that the soundtrack would also feature two songs recorded by Senegalese American R&B singer Akon. The makers of the film have complied with international copyright laws and have obtained the license to use Ben E. King's song, "Stand By Me", on which they have based the song "Dildaara". Chammak Challo' is a fantastic amalgamation of Indian, Middle East and Western sound that gives it a distinguished appeal. Written by Vishal Dadlani and Niranjan Iyengar, the song is not just about Akon, as Hamsika Iyer lends him good support as well in the later parts of the song.

A huge winner all the way that Akon would certainly want to introduce in his international tours as well, 'Chammak Challo' arrives in an astonishing five 'remix versions'. Does one feel like being treated to an overdose of 'Chammak Challo'? Not at all as whether it is the regular 'remix', 'Punjabi mix', 'Club Mix' or 'International version' (where Akon goes solo), the impact is only accentuated as one is treated to a repeat play of this highly foot tapping number.

Agneepath is the remake of the 1990 Hindi film of the same name. It is directed by Karan Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan will play the role originally played by Amitabh Bachchan. Priyanka Chopra will be the female lead. The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been totally done away with in the remake. The main villain will be played by Sanjay Dutt (Kancha Cheena) and Rishi Kapoor (Rauf Lala) will play another negative character. It has been reported that Zarina Wahab will play Hrithik's mother and Om puri will play as Hrithik's father.

In a small Indian Village Mandwa, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) is taught about the path of fire (Agneepath) by his principled father. His life is shattered completeley when the evil drug lord Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father to death, Vijay leaves for Bombay with his pregnant mother, and takes an oath that he will return back to Mandwa and bring back the glory of his fathers name and avenge Kancha Cheena.

In Bombay, 12 Year old Vijay is taken under the wings of the cities drug lord Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor). From here on it is a journey of revenge where he makes and breaks many relationships only to get closer to his aim. Vijay finds support in his only friend Kaali (Priyanka Chopra), who stands by him at every moment of his life. Fifteen years later, his hatred for Kancha takes him back to Mandwa.

The music is composed by Ajay-Atul. Katrina Kaif is doing an item song choreographed by Ganesh Acharya in Agneepath called "Chikni Chameli" which will also feature Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt.

Rockstar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles is directed by Imtiaz Ali. Eros International Ltd. will co-produce the film with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. The film score and soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman. The first theatrical trailer was released on August 31, 2011 along with Bodyguard starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Rockstar happens to be the last movie of legendary actor late Shammi Kapoor.

The story follows Janardhan Jakhar (Ranbir Kapoor) an uncouth, social nobody in college in Delhi. A good-for-nothing, uncooperative son at home. And a struggling-musician-with-little-hope to his friends and acquaintances. But Janardhan wants to change all that. So when a well wisher discloses the secret behind all great success… that you have to fall in love and then break your heart. Only then will your music become better, deeper and you will be a star. Janardhan is determined to make it happen for him too. He befriends Heer (Nargis Fakhri); the most beautiful, sophisticated and popular girl in college. The two strike an unconventional friendship, and spend their days together in reckless abandonment. Then Heer leaves and Janardhan continues with his regular life. He gives up music and joins the family business. But fate has other plans. Janardhan and Heer meet again. This time things are different. Before he knows it… Janardhan embarks on a tumultuous journey of self discovery, longing and restlessness only to realize that the very thing he spent his life looking for was in front of him the whole time.

The music for the film will be scored by A. R. Rahman replacing the usual associate of Imtiaz Ali, Pritam. The lyrics will be penned by Irshad Kamil. According to Rahman, "Rockstar is a character driven film and as one can guess from the title, there will be lots of guitar." In brief, the music will have very different vibrations. Neeraj Shridhar and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will associate with Rahman for the first time through this film.Harshdeep Kaur will be heard singing a very soulful sufi song in this film. Italian-Canadian singer Natalie Di Luccio has recorded two songs for the film. A. R. Rahman has now completed background score for the film and the audio is expected to release in September. The climax song of the film will have Ranbir Kapoor performing in front of a live audience. Ranbir had travelled to Chennai and stayed with Rahman for a week in order to "Feel the song imbibe and absorb it" so that when he finally performs it, "The song would be an extension of his personality."

Murder 2 is an erotic thriller film and the sequel to the 2004 hit film, Murder. The film stars Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. It is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The theatrical trailer of the film was revealed on June 1, 2011 and also in cinemas with the film, Ready. The film has been given an 'A' certificate from the Indian Censor Board. The film is more darker and erotic than its prequel.

The music is composed by Harshit Saxena, Mithoon, Sangeet Haldipur and Siddharth Haldipur. The hit tracks of the album are "Aye Khuda", "Haale Dil", and "Phir Mohabbat".Yana Gupta's item number, "Aa Zara" will not be airing on television promos as the number is too explicit and not suggestive for audiences under 18. Instead, the number was shot with Jacqueline Fernandez and Emraan Hashmi, which will be airing on television. The original number with Yana will still be kept in the film.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar. Ready is a comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee, starring Salman Khan and Asin in the lead roles.It also features Paresh Rawal, Arya Babbar and Mahesh Manjrekar in supporting roles, while Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Kangana Ranaut, Zarine Khan and Arbaaz Khan will make cameo appearances. His father passed away when he was very young after which his mother Naini (Dimple Kapadia) married Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna). Together, they had a son Makhanchan (Arbaaz Khan). Prajapati favours Makhanchan which does not go down well with Chulbul. He decides to take control of his destiny and detaches himself from his stepfather and half brother. His sole attachment is his mother . However after his mother’s demise and an unsuccessful attempt to mend wounds, Chulbul snaps all ties with his stepfather and half brother. Rajo (Sonakshi Sinha) with her unique perspective of life enters his world and turns it upside down. Chulbul starts to see life more positively and also gets sensitized to the value of a family. But his detractors especially the dubious Cheddi Singh (Sonu Sood) have their own vested interests and emerge as spokes in the wheel, putting one brother against the other. Makhanchan ends up carrying out acts oblivious to the consequences. When he realizes he has been used, he turns to Chulbul.
