Tata Docomo Revised 2G Gprs plans 2011

In View of the competition from the other operator and in view to continue its best offers in industry , Tata Docomo today rationalized its Two 2G Gprs packs, RC33 and RC 48 Effective 22nd April 2011 00:00 hrs.

This is the 3rd GPRS pack, which is revised in the same month, earlier this month it also rationalized its RC 95 2G pack, where the data was reduced from 6GB to 4GB, The changes in the pack of RC 98 was effective 1st April 2011 00:00 hrs.

Tamil Nadu HSC Results

Results of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination would be released on May 14, Education Minister Thangam Thennarasu said today.
The government has taken steps to make available the results on its websites and also through Short Messaging Services for students.
The students can also get their results through their respective schools.
Over 7.5 lakh students took the plus two exams in Tamil Nadu which began on March one. The examinations were conducted in 2,000 centres across the State.

The result is announced early due to the election result for the Parliament.
The Tamilnadu students can obtain the results through internet. According to some sources the results and the Mark list should reach the school within some hours after the results are released.

According to Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni, the capacity will increase to 200 by 31 December 2011.The Minister was emphatic in an informal interaction with the media that DD Direct Plus will remain free-to-air.She also confirmed that DD Direct Plus will like other DTH players beam in high definition. However, she said the plan under the Eleventh Plan to augment the capacity of the platform was still awaiting clearance.
DD sources confirmed that around 90 television channels by 82 applicants are in the queue for being uploading on DD Direct Plus. These include some foreign channels.The platform at present has a capacity of 59 channels while it presently beams 57 TV channels. The TV channels include 21 Doordarshan Channels.The oldest of these applications was made on 7 March 2007 while the latest was made on 12 April this year.
Apart from many other channels, some of the applicants include NDTV, IBN 7, TV 24, NE TV Group, Sakshi TV, ZEE, Sahara, and Star News.The channels include three foreign channels: Japan’s NHK TV, Korean Broadcasting Corporation and Deutsche Welle. Around ten more foreign channels are expected to join soon.
Earlier this year, Soni had denied that any television channels had withdrawn from DD Direct Plus. She said DD Direct Plus signals were available in the entire country except the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Create a bootable USB drive

I had to search all over for this information, so I stole a little here, borrowed a little there, and made up what I couldn't find, to get it all in one place.
Hopefully, this will save everyone some time.

First, this is PE version 2.0, and earlier versions will not work. I do not/will not work with BartPE, so I haven't a clue what needs to be done in that environment.

Your USB and the port it is using must be USB 2.0. I don't know if USB 1.0 will work slowly, or not at all.

I'm assuming you've created a bootable PE Version 2.0 CD.
I used the drive letters that my computer assigned to the devices. Yours may be different.
C:=local hard drive
D:=CD/DVD drive
E:=USB Thumb drive
X:=PE's RAM disk

You need to assure that you select the proper disks, as you will be erasing and formatting the thumb drive. I will not be responsible for any data loss or woes you encounter!

You'll need MagicISO, to extract all folders and files (including hidden files) from your CD to a file on your C: drive (I used c:\bootusb)
(You probably already have these files in a folder, somewhere... you needed to use them to create the ISO. If not, extract them before you boot the PE CD).

Boot your PE version 2.0 CD
type these commands:
disk part
select disk 1 (this was my USB drive. type in "detail disk" to be sure you've selected the USB drive)
clean (you are erasing the selected disk. I hope you got it right!)
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=fat32 (this takes a while)
assign
exit

You're now back at the command prompt, and need to copy the files from the folder you created on your hard drive to the USB drive.
xcopy c:\bootusb\*.* e: /h /e (this also takes a while)

You can't copy the files from the RAM drive, as they're in use by PE
I don't think (but haven't tried) you can copy them from the CD, as they're compressed... (?)

Good luck, and I hope to have saved someone a bit of trouble figuring this out.
