Sitting MP Hema Malini is contesting again from Mathura, Smriti Irani from Amethi and Sangh Mitra Maurya is contesting from Badaun in UP.

Sangh Mitra Maurya:-

Sangh Mitra Maurya is the daughter of the Cabinet Minister Prasad Maurya. She has been nominated in a seat where Samajwadi Party is strong. Dharmendra Singh Jadav, a nephew of Mulayam Singh Jadav is incumbent Member of Parliament in this Lok Sabha constituency.

Politics:-
Sanghmitra Maurya fought against Samajwadi Party in Assembly Election of 2012 from Aligunje constituency in the district of Eta in Uttar Pradesh. She stood in the Lok Sabha Election of 2014 from Mainpuri seat against Mulayam Singh Jadav from Bahujan Samaj Party. Dharmendra Singh Jadav from Samajwadi Party won the election of Lok Sabha in 2009 and 2014. Salim Iqbal of Indian National Congress won here for four terms from Samajwadi Party here. Thus Ms. Maurya

Hema Malini:-

Hema Malini was born on 16 October in 1948. She is an Indian actress, writer, director, producer, dancer, and politician.

She started as an actress In 1962 in the Tamil film Ithu Sathiyam. Sapno Ka Saudagar was her debut for a major role in Hindi in 1968. In most of her films, she acted opposite with her husband Dharmendra or Rajesh Khanna or Dev Anand. The "Dream Girl" of Bollywood became popular with this name long before her film Dream Girl came into existence. She has acted in more than 150 films.

Personal Information:-

She was born on 16 October 1948 at Ammankudi, Madras State, India. She married Dharmendra in 1980. She was awarded Padma Shri in 2000.

Politics:-

Hema Malini was preceded by Jayant Chaudhary. On 16 May 2014, Hema Malini snatched this Lok Sabha seat of Mathura.

She held the post of a Member of Parliament for Rajya Sabha on and from 16 November 2003 to 16 November in 2009. She preceded this nomination from Mrinal Sen. This seat was succeeded by Javed Akhtar.

Smriti Irani:-

Smriti Irani was born on 23 March 1976 in New Delhi, India. She was born to a Bengali mother, Shibani Bagchi, and a Punjabi-Maharashtrian father, Ajay Kumar Malhotra.

She completed her 12th standard from Holy Child Auxilium School in New Delhi. Later, she enrolled herself in School of Open Learning at the University of Delhi for a bachelor's degree. Smriti married a Parsi businessman, Zubin Irani in 2001. They got their first child in October that year. the couple had their first child, a son. The second child, a daughter came in September 2003. Both their children are learning Parsis.

Smriti has a stepdaughter, Shanelle who is Zubin Irani's daughter from his previous marriage with a coordinator and former beauty contestant Mona Irani who is a law student at Georgetown University in the United States.

RSS Connection:-

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been served by this strong beautiful lady. Her grandfather was an RSS swayamsevak. Her mother was also a member of Jana Sangh.

Educational Controversy:-

When Smriti Irani stood from Chandni Chowk in Delhi, she declared that she was a graduate in arts during 2004 Lok Sabha. But in 2019 she clearly expressed that she had no B.A. degree. She said that she gave the examination for the first year but did not complete her degree.

Indian Constitution is the largest Constitution of the world. The writers of the Indian Constitution had given their best to bring a unique Constitution. So, they had read all other constitutions from the contemporary democratic countries like the U.S., the Great Britain, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, South Africa etc.

The Details of Influences on Indian Constitution

The writers of Indian Constitution did not only follow the foreign constitution blindly, but they also made it suitable for Indian perspective. The parliamentary democratic administration system was an influence from the British parliamentary system. Bilateral assembly system was also taken from the British bilateral system. The ideas like fundamental rights, the freedom of judicial system, preference of the Constitution, the relation between the Centre and the States were adopted from the U.S. Constitution. But the idea of withdrawal of the fundamental rights during emergency was received from the German constitution. The composers of the Indian Constitution were influenced by the directive principles of the Constitution of Ireland. African constitutional subjects like amendment and the selection of the members of Rajyasabha had influenced the writers of the Indian Constitution. They followed Constitutions of Canada and Australia for the distribution of power between the Centre and the States and accepted some ideas.

The Indian writers had not only read thoroughly but analysed each and every chapters of all constitutions. After thorough reading, they took the relevant subject appropriate to the Indian context.

Formation	The Indian Independent Act, 1947 declared the Constituent Assembly of India to be a full sovereign body. The Constituent Assembly acted as the Provisional Parliament with the power of the Constitution of India until the first Lok Sabha. Rest 238 are elected indirectly from the various states and Union Territories. They are elected by the process of proportional representation by means of single transferable vote by the elected members from the respective state. All members are elected in this way. The elected members of the State Legislative Assemblies take part in this process.
Eligibility of the Members	1. A candidate must be an Indian citizen. 2. His age must be at least of 25 years. 3. He must possess all other eligibilities determined by the parliament. 4. He must be a voter of any place in India. 5. He must not be a bankrupt declared by the Indian court. 6. He must not be a crazy or mentally ill person declared by any Indian court. 7. Presiding Officer	Speaker is the chief in the house. He conducts the proceedings and maintains discipline. There is a list of Chairmen. The Deputy Speaker	The prime who presides over the meeting in the house is called the Chairman. The Vice President of India performs the duty of the Chairman. There is a panel list of Vice Chairmen from whom the next Deputy Chairman is selected if it necessitates. The most senior member is given the responsibility of the Leader of the House by the Prime Minister.

Constitution Amendment is an important responsibility for this House. Removal :- 1. The house will decide over the removal of the President. 2. Rajya Sabha has special powers to make laws with respect to an enlisted State List for the interest of the country with the power of Article No 249 with a majority of not less than two thirds of the present members. 2. After having been passed in the Lok Sabha, Money Bill is sent to the Rajya Sabha. It can be delayed only for not more than 14 days by the Rajya Sabha. 3. Qualification for a Would-be Vice President

Criteria

He is an Indian Citizen.He should have eligibility to be elected in RajyaSabha.He will not be appointed in any Post of Profit either in Central Government or State Government or in local Authority possessed by Government.This is not in the case of a candidate who is either a Vice President or a Governor of a State at present.The Vice President who is elected either by Parliament or State Assembly must resign to his former membership before taking oath in the present post.He is at least 35 years of age.Would-be Vice-President requires at least 20 M.P.s or Members of Parliament as proposers and at least 20 M.P.s or Members of Parliament as seconders.Would-be Vice-President requires keeping a security deposit of Rs.15,000/-.If a candidate fails to obtain one-sixth of the total votes, he will not be given back his security deposit.

Election Process for the Vice President of India

Indian Constitution attributes the post of Returning Officer to either the General Secretary of Loksabha House of the People or the General Secretary of Rajya sabha or Council of States. This title is attributed by rotation. The Returning Officer in 2011 was from Loksabha. Then he gives notice inviting nominations. Within due date and time nominations are filed in a proper manner. We should know that only the members from Loksabha and Rajya sabha are eligible to vote for the election of the Vice President. Unlike the election in the case of the President of India, the members of legislatures or Members of Legislative Assemblies can cast their votes. The Election Commission of India appoints two senior secretariats for the assistance of the Returning Officer. Then a date is fixed for casting votes and publication of result. In this vote, there are some special features to affirm the election and its success. Among these feature preferences and quota are prominent. An elector can vote to indicate definite numeric figures such as 1,2,3,4 etc beside the names of contesting candidates on ballot papers. After that counting process comes. After eliminating the cancelled ballots, the votes are counted according to the first choice. If someone gets the quota, he will be declared the winner. But if one fails to obtain the quota, counting will be going on eliminating the candidate with least votes. His votes will be computed as per to take the second preferences from those ballots. Among these votes, the second preferences will be added to the definite candidates to whom the votes of the electors have been credited to. Thus eliminations and exclusions will continue till one obtains the quota. If no one gets the quota , the last remaining candidate will be crowned.

Procedure of Vice-President's Election

This is an interesting process by which the Vice President is elected in India.Vice President of India is elected indirectly by an Electoral College through proportional representation by means of a single transferable vote, not as the President.

Tenure, Salary, Dismissal or Resignation

Tenure

A Vice President is termed for 5 years.He is assigned to his post for five years.Before his tenure, he can resign to the post.If a situation arises, he may be removed from his office before the scheduled time.

Salary

Presently the Vice President of India is given the salary of 1,25,000 INR.He does not have any special privileges except the salary as in the case of the President.He is only given such advantages when he takes the responsibility of the President in the absence of the President. He is not given any lodging, unlike the President who lives at the Rashtrapati Bhavan during his tenure.According to the Vice President’s Pension Act of 1997, the Vice President is given half of the salary at the time of his retirement from the office as the pension. It was not written in Constitution.

Dismissal/Removal

Vice President can be dismissed before the date or he can resign from the post.For such dismissal, parliament will have given a notice for 14 days in Rajya Sabha.If this application is accepted by majority in Rajya Sabha, it must be granted in Lok Sabha to reject the Vice President.He can submit his resignation to the President of India.Supreme Court can look into the debate created by the election, resignation, and dismissal.Vice President of India is elected indirectly by an Electoral College through proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote similarly as in the case of the President of India.

Function and Duty of vice-President of India

Vice President of India is next to President of India in rank. He is the Chairman of Rajya sabha ex officio. In the absence of the President, Vice President will be employed temporarily in the post of the President. Death, dismissal, resignation of the President will permit the Vice President to take the full responsibility as the President of India as long as a new President is not elected. He will act as the temporary President if the present President is absent or ill or unable to work due to some reasons.

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu was born in Hyderabad presently in Telangana on 5^th July in 1995. Her father PV Ramana is international volleyball player. He won the gold medal in the 1986 Asian Games. PV Sindhu was admitted to Pullela Gopichand Academy. She is pursuing MBA from St. Anns College for Women, Mehdipatnam. She has a weight of 65kg or 143 lb. She is 1.79 metre in height. She held the highest ranking of 9 on and from 13^th March, 2014. Her present ranking is 10.

This patriotic song is from the Hindi movie, Diljale that was released in 1996. Ajay Devgan and Sonali Bendre are the protagonists. The transformation of Amarish Puri from a terrorist to a patriot is noteworthy.This song has been sung by Kumar Sanu along with Aditya Narayan, the son of the famous playback singer Udit Narayan. Javed Akhtar wrote the lyrics. Anu Malik composed the music.

Assam Terror Attack

It was an inhuman attack against some innocent Assamese at Kokrajharh. A sudden terrorist attack at market time has taken the lives of 14 Assamese leaving more than thirty seriously injured. According to DGP, Boro terrorists made this happen. Assam police fought bravely against the criminals and encountered these people skilfully. Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal declared that the families of the deceased will be given rupees of 5 lac each, while the families of the injured will be given one lac per injured person as compensation. Kiren Rijiju contacted the state to get the details of the event.

Bonhomie between the Government and the Oppositions:-

India has seen the rare of the rarest moment in the parliament when both the government and the opposition gave their consent unanimously on the long debated GST Amendment Bill in the Rajyasabha. There were 203 members present at the Rajyasabha. AIADMK left the House to show their dissent on the Bill. All of the voted in favour of the Bill, 2014. Thus proves the patriotism in them. This is the biggest tax reform that has taken place since the Independence.

Six Amendments Brought Congress on Board:-

Congress and other oppositions have given their consent after the Government brought some amendments in the Bill. 1% additional tax has been scrapped. There will be a clear provision for compensation for the states during first five years.

Chidambaram Wants it as a Financial Bill for the Sake Empowerment of Both the Houses:-

“I want an assurance from the Finance Minister that when the GST Bill is brought, it will bring as a financial bill and not as a money bill. This is far too transformational and important legislation that one House of Parliament should just speak on it and the other will vote. We want that both Houses should debate and vote on it,” former finance minister from Congress P Chidambaram said.

AIADMK Against GST:-

Navaneetha Krishnan from AIADMK said, “This constitutional amendment Bill is not valid. It violates the states’ fiscal autonomy. It will give permanent revenue loss to Tamil Nadu. We oppose it.”

Still to Wait for the Implementation:-

But we have to wait for an unpredictable time as the process has not yet been completed. It will go to the Loksabha .It needs supports of at least 50% states. Then the committee will submit recommendation report to the Government. Finance Minister Arun Jaitly has assured that falsehood will not be carried out in implementing the Bill. The Opposition will be allowed to say their words in the debate session.

A former US Marine sergeant of Indian origin, Imran Yousuf wrote, "There are a lot of people naming me a hero and as a former Marine and Afghan veteran I honestly believe I reacted by instinct.... While it might seem that my actions are heroic I decided that the others around me needed to be saved as well and so I just reacted." "There was only one choice...Either we all stay there and we all die, or I could take the chance, and I jumped over to open that latch and we got everyone that we can out of there." “When the day comes, you are going to see what you are made of, I think I reacted the best I could,” he said."I wish I could have saved more to be honest. There are a lot of people that are dead"

Life of Yousuf:-

He spent his boyhood in Niskayuna. Then he joined Marine Corps. He fought in both Afghanistan and Iraq.The Marine Corps Times newspaper says Yusuf had left the Marine Corps just last month. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during his service. Presently, Imran Yousuf is a 24-year-old bouncer at Pulse. His ancestors had come from India to Gayana.
