Effects can be edited via front-panel knobs, or using bundled software. And recording is easy, thanks to a built-in USB port and convenient onboard speaker system. It's like having the ultimate BOSS effects processor and an audio interface in one!

Advanced COSM® Effects
When you plug into the GS-10, you get the same awesome-sounding COSM effects made famous in the BOSS GT-6 and GT-6B, plus a selection of all-new guitar and bass amp models-48 types total! Each effect section is clearly laid out on the front panel-complete with rotary knobs and a convenient Tone Modify function for easy tweaking.

The GS-10's COSM effects include new guitar amp models like “T-AMP” and bass amp modeling, plus wah modeling and a variety of overdrive/distortion models. Perfect for all styles of metal, punk, garage, thrash, drop tunings, and heavy rock.

description
Blackouts Metal pickups are voiced for extreme heaviness. They are our highest output electric guitar pickups. Period. They have a screaming voice with amazing mid-range punch and they produce thick, dark chords, and hard-hitting leads. When you play extreme aggressive styles and you have to cut through above the other instruments in your band, Blackouts Metal are the call.

complete setup
There’s only one version of Blackouts Metal, but you can dial up two very different output levels (see below). Paired with our SFX-04 Twin Tube Mayhem, Blackouts Metal pickups in high-output mode are so extreme, so brutal, and so vicious, you might want to check with local law enforcement to make sure they’re legal. Not really. But you get the idea.

available mods
Use Blackouts Metal pickups in any humbucker-routed electric guitar. Includes 25K pots, stereo jack, battery clip, pin jumper (see below), and other mounting hardware.

players
Blackouts Metal have a unique dual pin configuration on the underside of the pickup for two modes of output: loud and louder. With the same aggressive tonality in each mode, you now have a choice in output. With the jumper removed, you have a high output bridge humbucker that’s still compatible with a neck pickup or the clean channel on your amp. However, with the jumper in place, you unleash all the raw power, incredible output, and untamed aggression. The pins can also be wired to a mini-switch or push/pull, for an on board boost! Not splitable. Available with black or white covers.

Indie kita
More info: Seymour Duncan

Aborsi - iLLegal MoTives

Grunge amunition from jogjakarta!

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:subtitle> Grunge amunition from jogjakarta! </itunes:subtitle><itunes:author>noreply@blogger.com (Indie Kita)</itunes:author><itunes:summary> Grunge amunition from jogjakarta! </itunes:summary><itunes:keywords>On Screen</itunes:keywords>

<feedburner:origEnclosureLink>http://www.youtube.com/v/QZU8qIhFIxI&hl=en&fs=1</feedburner:origEnclosureLink>

The Morning After

The Morning After [TMA] terbentuk sejak tahun 2001 di kota Malang. Perusahaan rekaman milik Agus Sasongko inilah yang menawari kontrak album untuk The Morning After.

Indie kita
More info: The Morning After

Bullet For My Valentine l February 4th 2009

L.A Lights Concert
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE
4 February 2009,
Tennis Indoor Senayan
Tickets price:
Festival/Tribune Rp. 335.000,-

Java Musikindo

Horror from below

Horror from below split album with raw sewage. After a year disbanding his legendary hardcore outfit for 10 years, vocalist Arian13 [Puppen, Aparatmati] and old time friends, drummer Kemod [from Bandung thrash grinders, Aparatmati] and guitarist Ricky [from Jakarta's finest hardcore band, Stepforward] founded SERINGAI ['grin' in Indonesian]. Fueled by a desire to play a blend between Motorhead, Black Sabbath, hard rock & metal influences, they began to jam together after bassist Toan joined. SERINGAI was already in the habit of constantly writing songs, and playing small gigs in Jakarta and Bandung.

Anthem songs like Alkohol [Alcohol] and Membakar Jakarta [Burning Jakarta], are the crowd's favorites. SERINGAI became more popular and the shows were beer-soaked and the sing along, slamdancing, stagediving never stops. Shortly thereafter, Toan left the band, and was replaced by Sammy. The band recorded 9 songs including a cover of Black Flag's Jealous Again, and released High Octane Rock EP in 2004 in tape format on their own label, Parau. Many shows in support of the tape, and without proper promotion they have sold about 12.000 copies of High Octane Rock EP. They even got offered to write songs for local movie soundtrack, teenage flick Catatan Akhir Sekolah and horror flick 12:00 AM. Their fanbase grows bigger, and named themselves 'serigala seringai' or, Seringai's wolfpack. In 2005, the CD version is released. Fortunately, the CD version was highly anticipated, and with different and exclusive artwork, it has sold 2000 copies in just 2 month. This time, the CD was distributed by Off The Records/Universal Music Indonesia. SERINGAI now is gearing up for their debut full length that is going to be released in 2007.

Indie kita
More info: Seringai

Gibson ES-175

The Gibson ES-175 is one of the most famous jazz guitars in history. It is a 24 3/4" scale full hollow body guitar with a trapeze tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge. It is currently still in production.

The ES-175 debuted in 1949, as Gibson's mid-level laminate top alternative to the L-5 and as an electric version of the L-4. It was also the first Gibson electric to feature a stylish Florentine cutaway. Its first incarnation had one single-coil pickup (a P-90) in the neck position, and a carved rosewood bridge. In 1953, the ES-175D, a two-pickup model, was introduced. The ES-175 or ES-175D could be ordered in either sunburst finish or in natural finish (for an additional charge).

Beginning in February 1957, ES-175s came equipped with humbuckers. Many new jazz guitarists used these to emulate the sound of Wes Montgomery's "heart" L5, such as Pat Metheny. The ES-175 with humbuckers is prized for its full, rich tone. Some guitarists will try to mimic the rich resonant sound of this rather large hollow body instrument by turning the tone knob all the way down on smaller, or solid body, guitars.

This model guitar is not only used by jazz guitarists. Scotty Moore, the guitarist for Elvis Presley, played an ES-295, essentially a dual P-90-equipped, all gold ES-175. Such rock legends as Steve Howe have taken up the ES-175 due to its high level of craftsmanship and playability. Gibson released the Herb Ellis ES-165 as a signature reissue of his original 1957 ES-175.

The denomination 175 came from the original price tag of the first ES, which was $175.00.
The Gibson ES-175 features a volume and tone knob for each pickup and classic Kluson tuning heads. The Epiphone ES-175 features a volume and tone knob for each pickup and Schaller tuning heads.

Indie Kita from wikipedia.

Battle Of Music

Acara Festival garapan anak2 marker production, denger-denger SKJ 94 juga mau ngrayain ulang tahunnya di acara ini.

Dojihatori

Growing up in Yogyakarta, Windo, and Rinto went to Muhammadiyah 1 High School, building up reputation as both music fans and guitar players. In 1999, they formed a high school band called Magic Pie. After finishing school in 2000, they formed Dojihatori with their college mates: Virji on bass, Happy on drums, and Barik on vocals. The band's name came from abbreviation of their nicknames (winDO, virJI, HAppy, rinTO, baRIk). Due to studying abroad, Barik left the band in 2002 and Yuma came in 2003

In 2006, Happy resigned from his position due to personal reason. He's replaced by Ferry. Their first loves were heavily into indierock and britpop oriented music. Bands like The Who, The Small Faces, The Jam, and Ocean Color Scene fixed their cravings for brit-esque guitars and vocals. They all play massive parts in contributing to Dojihatori's reference and influence. Dojihatori is currently signed by Blossom Records, a minor label in DI Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Discography: 2005 | Get Out of Here | EP | Blossom Records. 2006 | It's Too Risky to Take a Day Off | LP | Blossom Records. 2007 | Indie Fest Vol. 1 | Compilation | Fast Forward Records. 2007 | Simplicity Too | Compilation | Blossom Records.

Indie Kita
More info: Dojihatori

Somos Libres - Sore

Directed by Raditya Sidharta. It all started with a band named Gooton, consisting Yudhi Arfani (guitar), Dimas Anindityo (bass), and Mulyadi Triharsono (drum) when they were only in junior high school! All three grew to become friends in the same scene that popped up several britpops gigs, popular in Jakarta at that time. However, the band went without permanent vocalist. After some time, in 2001 the boys met Irene Yohanna, a girl with remarkable voice. Her voice trully made a break. All the boys loved it. Even more, everybody loves Irene! This in fact is the exact sentence that became the name of the band EVERYBODY LOVES IRENE. She soon became the main icon of this band.

With spare-backing tracks and emotional yet wrenching vocal, EVERYBODY LOVES IRENE play music for times when ecstasy wears off and the tingle becomes a chill. It’s a dance noir for those too world-weary to move. Their music quality got even more enriched when Aulia Naratama (synthetizer) joined the band. This is the last, perfect and solid format for the band to produce new, great songs like Memento Mori, Gravity Always Win, Try Try Try, The Lullaby Show, and the list goes on.

EVERYBODY LOVES IRENE’s music might sound like seen as a really unhappy world. On its creative process, it admits that it is mostly inspired by some talented musicians like Emiliana Torrini, Goldfrapp, Air, Mono, Sneaker Pimps, Portishead, Anjali, Radiohead, Cocteau Twins, Sigur Ros, The Smiths, Bloc Party, and some other great musicians that cannot be mentioned one by one. This would make them an eclectic indie-pop band with lot of organic trip-hop influences that touches a view element of multi-layered electronica sounds. It will reveal such dark ambience when these young acts is started to perform their non-standard songwriting.

EVERYBODY LOVES IRENE has created lunatic fans among the music lovers, regarding the quantity of presenting themselves in some international events that they have participated, such as Baybeats International Festival 2007 in Singapore.

Indie Kita
More Info: Everybody Loves Irene

Santamonica

In 2001, when Joseph Saryuf returned home to Jakarta after studying in Hamburg, Germany, he decided to become a full-time musician and starting to compose songs for his own music project. Not long after that, Joseph met Anindita, a fashion editor and freelance illustrator, and they formed a duo based on their similar taste in music and their love for analog sounds.

Established in 2003, Santamonica is the brainchild of duo Joseph Saryuf and Anindita. Described their sound as the musical version of a trip down to Alice In Wonderland adventures, it is an eclectic mixture of pop, bossanova, electronic, and classic waltz which drawing influences from Astrud Gilbeto, Antonio Jobim, My Bloody Valentine to classic Disney soundtracks.

Their music is distinguished by its multi-layered sound, Joseph's surreal guitar works and Anindita's unique voice and whimsical lyrics. These dynamic duo is also actively gracing various gigs and stages, gaining more followers with the bands unique sound and stage antics.

In September 2005, Santamonica released their first EP titled '189' to stamp their name in the local music scene and as a warm up prior to the release of the bands full-length album. The EP includes three songs, ”Please Say Yes”, “Sought and Found”, and “Serenade of Yellow Park” which drew strong influences from bossa nova greats such as Astrud Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobim.

Other than the release of '189' EP, they have played in many respectable gigs around Jakarta and Bandung, such as PL Fair, La Voila, and Indonesia's biggest music festival Soundrenaline. From their inceptions, they have gathered fans both locally and overseas, thanks to their unique sound, dynamic live performance and exposures from their Myspace site.

They also took part in two compilation albums, Pop Shower (2003, Quince Records Japan) and Todays Of Yesterday (2005, Bad Sectors Records). After two years of grueling process, Santamonica's full-length debut 'Curiouser and Curiouser' finally released in November 2007, under Sinjitos Records. In this album, Santamonica had shifted their musical direction from bossa nova to an eclectic mixture of electro-pop, modern jazz. They described their new sound as the musical version of a trip down to Alice in Wonderland, when listeners can expect a roller coaster of musical journey accompanied with the band's trademark whimsical lyrics. One month after the release, “Curiouser and Curiouser” received many positive reviews in local music magazines and websites, cited as one of “Best Album in 2007” from Trax Magazine (and Trax editors’ favorite albums in 2007), including a nomination as “Best Album in 2007” from Free! Magazine and a nomination at AMI Awards 2007 Indonesia as “Best Alternative Recordings 2006 -2007”. Rolling Stone Indonesia awarded Santamonica as “Best Breakthrough Artist in 2007” and “Curiouser and Curiouser” also received “Best Album for 2008”, and “The Best Album Packaging for 2008” from the same magazine.

After the release of the album, Santamonica played in several high-profile shows such of Electro Syncronizer with Telefon Tel Aviv, Java Jazz 2008, PL Fair 2008, and Beatfest 2008 with The Whitest Boy Alive and DJ Steve Aoki. Santamonica also headlined with Fugu in Melody of Life Festival 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Indie Kita
More info: Santamonica

The Monophones

MEET THE MONOPHONES A band is not just a band. It enlightens story and history through music. The Monophones is a synergy to capture and represent the time passage into an album of reminiscence. This band was born in the summer of 2003. Before everything was just begun, The Beatles was the one we played through several music performances.

Then we started to make our own songs. We melt several names such as The Carpenters, Maureen Kelly, Petula Clark, The Mamas and Papas, Jefferson Airplane, several Indonesian retro musician such as Bimbo, Teti Kadi, or Lex Trio, and etc, into our music. We did several experimental sessions to create such a joyful sense here and there. Here we are now, one of a modern living band that plays the adorable retro sounds. On our fine planting space, we try to enrich this modern living by once joyful colors. We hope you may share a minute of your broad time to remind about your golden past memory. Love us, and you may find the vivid harmony in every song we’ve made. It’s not just a swing pop, psychedelic sense, over exciting reverb, ambience of the hall, or whatever it is called. Just name it yourself… Here, we also try to raise the indie pop sub-culture parades in our country. We believe in the concept of d.i.y or die, that make us freely exploit our aesthetic expression and creativity to develop our music. We are proud to be the part of this movement.

Indie Kita
More info: The monophones

Ballads of the Cliché

Ballads of the Cliché are a folk pop collective based in Jakarta. Bored senseless, and sick of rereading the saturated dated newspaper, they started to share musical aspirations. Finding that they were all looking for something musically innovative they decided to try to create a band alternate to the ones that they had played with before. Henceworth was born Armada Racun, a group consisting of 2 bass and one keyboardist.

The possibility of a drummer had not yet come to mind and they experimented with an automatic loop emanating from a bass effect. In the beginning there was Nadya ..board, Vred on bass and vocal and Dani Bastard on the rhythm bass just messing around, trying to find the sound they were looking for. Feeling something was lacking they decided to seek a real life drummer in order to fill in any musical gaps. Initially they experimented with bass effects, keyboard scales combined with a heavy and unique drum sound, similar to early raw punk. Progressing from this they incorporated the repetitive and monotonous mood of the New Wave era and late punk movement, further coloring their songs with more modern European rock influences. The lyrics of Armada Racun are somewhat of an unpretentious diary, fieldnotes from daily humdrum, anger, protest, love, disappointment and issues facing any young person living in the developing world hahaha. Whatever comes to mind……

Indie Kita

Polyster Embasy

Polyester embassy is an Electronic Rock Experimental Band (actually their music too complicated to explain but if you want something more obvious about their music so far this is what they can explain…would you tell something really special about them…???).They’re Based in Bandung. The Band was Formed By Guitarist/ Vocalist Elang Eby, Guitarist/ Synthesizer Sidik Kurnia, Bassist Ridwan Aritomo, Guitarist/ Sampling Ekky Darmawan, Drummer Givarie MP. Back in 2002, when five old fellas united by their common interest in music.

But somehow they’ve made a lot of stunning performance in Indonesia “Polyester embassy – Tragicomedy Concert” and Malaysia “Polyester embassy – Tragicomedy tour in 2007”…and Have a lot of Collaboration with So many electronic musician For Some Live Performance Such as : Hendra (RNRM), Deena dellyana (Homogenic),Evan (Storn Modular), Iman (Electrofux), and Souldelay.

So far, the band has Released Full length album called Tragicomedy.Released by FFWD Records ( Bandung based Record label ) In 11 november 2006. Gained inclusion into the late-'90s Electronic Rock surge due chiefly to the labels their recordings appeared on, not the actual music they produced. Their sound, a variant of the Krautnoize sound coaxed into a relaxing Anti depressant vision of the late 90s, looked back to a variety of phenomena from the period – Guitar and synthesizer from new wave music of the nonspiky variety, and obscure film soundtracks.. And the point are they love to play a lot of Musical instrument and mixed up with a song which they try to sing it on the other ways.

Indie kita

Pure Saturday

Pure Saturday, Indonesian indie darlings. Formed by Muhammad Suar Nasution (vocals, guitar), Ade Purnama (bass), Aditya "Adhi" Ardinugraha (guitar), Yudistira "Udhi" Ardinugraha (drums) and Arief Hamdani (guitar) in 1994, they were pioneers of the Bandung indie scene. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1996, the first 5000 copies of which were sold innovatively via mail-order through a teen magazine. The album was then available on wide distribution after the band signed with Ceepee Records. The single "Kosong" made them household names, with the artistic accompanying video gaining heavy rotation.

Their more complex and challenging second album, Utopia, was released in 1999 through Aquarius Musikindo. Because of family and business reasons, Pure Saturday was mostly inactive for several years, culminating in Suar's departure in 2004. After unsuccessful auditions to find a suitable replacement vocalist, fate intervened one day when Satria "Iyo" NB, the band's manager, filled in during rehearsals. The guy they were looking for was there all along!

With their new lead singer in tow, Pure Saturday released its long-awaited third album, Elora, in March 2005 through FastForward Records.

This made it official: Pure Saturday was reborn and ready to rock again!!.

" After releasing our last record "Time for a change...time to move on", we are now working on a project which involving Bandung iconic metal band "BURGERKILL". The project itself started few weeks ago, and yet still has a lot to work thru. The has been quite an amazing excitement..as well as a though challenge ever since we have to be able to cope with all the ego-matters and ideas..as we know that the 2 bands perform different kind of music style. What would it be in the end?

Indie Kita

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
