This 'band' started in 2006 as a creative outlet for the post-teenage angst of Brian King and David Prowse. Originally intending to be a trio, the boys decided to forgo the logistical nightmare of having a 'lead singer' and do it themselves. As a consequence, Japandroids are 1 guitar, 1 set of drums, and 2 vocalizers. They call it garage rock. They don't care what you call it, as long as it's not minimal. Japandroids are maximal - a two piece band trying to sound like a five piece band.</p> <p>Download: <a href="http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1102616630674&amp;s=2609&amp;e=001B_lmNcYSmpAVUyi345kY3cLOPENSy9WjvNwkuAI1Xh0jioICvx4nm-bhBMeMB2IakrGHUG5N-rPsPw-0leivexFYykdbBxtonJ3YgaHhaS6ZClmQ5Kg0G29f2xWpRT2KP-2xzuIMoy4eKhlwOfydtaPp8aALqhgkuyHEVU0feOYkFp6aY3Ca3Mu6qp2KS-PxmdAwLm09L2OlBimKWifoVFWtnojKgWhCVp-U7YQt7vqNoGVlvYouxtfyv8s43Iz_a_H0--ba-U4uM4lJ4ETcZIZxoaFfs8Yn22kkKBLWyX0=">Young Hearts Spark Fire</a> MP3</p> <div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:0767317B-992E-4b12-91E0-4F059A8CECA8:5fa2217e-aacb-4538-a19b-6800221f251a" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent">Technorati Tags: <a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Signings" rel="tag">Signings</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Kanine" rel="tag">Kanine</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/VICE" rel="tag">VICE</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Nettwerk" rel="tag">Nettwerk</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Anticon" rel="tag">Anticon</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Lujo" rel="tag">Lujo</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Rise" rel="tag">Rise</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Polyvinyl" rel="tag">Polyvinyl</a></div></div>

I was quick to toss them and lump the band in with all of the nu-metal that was going on at the time. Then I heard “Drive”..</p> <p>and was curious how such a crappy band can make such a good song. I have since grown fond of Brandon’s vocal range and odd harmonies, Mike’s range and unique style on guitar and the way all of the members blend their different influences and styles. “Monuments &amp; Melodies” is a two-disc collection of hits and rarities – For me, the “Morning View” record is easily their best but this is a nice collection. Brendan O’Brien produced the two new tracks.</p> <p><strong>Artist</strong>   <br />Incubus  <br />---------------------------------------- <br /><strong>Title   <br /></strong>Monuments &amp; Melodies  <br />---------------------------------------- <br /><strong>Label    <br /></strong>Epic <br />---------------------------------------- <br /><strong>Release Date    <br /></strong>6/16/09 <br />---------------------------------------- <br /><strong>Band Members</strong>    <br />Brandon Boyd <br />Mike Einzinger <br />Chris Kilmore <br />Ben Kenney <br />Jose Antonio Pasillas II <br />----------------------------------------  <br /><strong>Additional Resources  <br /></strong><a href="www.enjoyincubus.com" target="_blank">Band Site</a> <br />What the <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/search/process?sort=relevance&amp;termType=all&amp;ts=incubus" target="_blank">critics are saying</a> <br />Find this artist at <a href="http://www.insound.com/search/results4.jsp?from=23890&amp;query=incubus" target="_blank">Insound</a></p> <p /> <div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:0767317B-992E-4b12-91E0-4F059A8CECA8:743d33c2-9179-4f64-9f80-c1ab19206d1c" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent">Technorati Tags: <a href="http://technorati.com/tags/new+music" rel="tag">new music</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/incubus" rel="tag">incubus</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/brendan+o'brien" rel="tag">brendan o'brien</a></div></div>
