So I don't really have anything witty to write about. So this is just a general update as to what's going on in my life etc. Not really a whole lot new. I saw a few decent movies recently. I rented Push, which was actually pretty good. Of course I saw Avatar, and I actually liked it. Even though I had MAJOR reservations about seeing it in the first place. I also went and watched Daybreakers. Not the best movie ever, but it was worth my $10. I thought it was entertaining enough. 2010 is starting out as the year...

2010 is starting out as the year of the make over. I got my hair cut into layers and just dyed it last night. Now it's dark blue on top and the under side is a teal color. I really like it. I got new glasses (just waiting for them to come back from getting the lenses put in). And in 2 weeks I am getting my invisalign installed. I am soooo super excited to get my teeth straightened. I better be too cause it's costing me a pretty penny to do. If anyone were to ask me what I hate most about my physical appearance, I would have to say my teeth. I am super self conscience about my overbite. I usually hide my smile, and cover my mouth when I laugh cause I hate my teeth so much. I have been wanting to do this FOREVER, and now that I am at a financially stable time in my life, I figure there is no better time then the present. Of course there are other things I would love to spend $5000 on, but I might as well get this out of the way and be able to enjoy my new smile for longer. Honestly I should have done this about 10 years ago.

As far as modeling goes, I just did my first photoshoot in about 9 months. I decided to collaborate with a friend on a submission for SEAF. Now I just cross my fingers that we got something good, and that the jury will like it. Honestly I missed being in SEAF last year. I had a pic of me in the store, but not actually in the show.

Gaming wise, I just got my twink in WoW up to level 50, and I ran my first big level 80+ instance the other night. My guild got about 1/2 way through Naxx. I got a lot of good gear out of it, and am slowly replacing my green stuff with blues and purples. YAY!

Also my boy bought us tickets to burningman. I am starting to look into getting ready for it. I am already planning on outfits to make. I know it's still really early, but I am trying something new. Plus if I don't get motivated now, then I will procrastinate and have to do everything last min.

Ok...so if everyone jumped off a bridge, I probably would too. Here is my look back on some key moments of 2009. 1. Kinetik - My first trip to Montreal. If you ever visit the city EAT BREAD...omg, the bread there is SO good! Got to hang out with a bunch of my favorite people in the goth/industrial music scene. Met some really amazing people and formed new friendships. Had a GREAT roommate for the trip, who put up with me and my drunken friends shit at 4am. And who can forget a) the discovery of Rockstar WITH VODKA! That's...

That's right...it comes in cans. WOOT! b) pantyhose head and the Portland boys antics c) "I put on my robe and wizard hat"

2. NIN/JA - I went a little crazy this year with a NIN obsessed partner in crime. Gabriel and I first went out to the Gorge to see NIN headline the Sasquatch festival. We got to go backstage and meet the band, and as an extra bonus I got to meet Dave Navarro (who I have had a crush on since highschool *SQUEE*). Then we flew down to LA to see NIN play the last 3 concerts (hopefully not FOREVER, but Trent said for at least a LONG time). There were a few setbacks during the trip , like Trent getting the flu and having to reschedule one of the shows. But thankfully my amazing LA peeps, and my work made it possible for me to stay a week longer so I didn't miss out on the last concert at the Wiltern. Sam, Dan, Julie, and Edgar kept me busy and entertained. For someone who doesn't like house guests Dan was the perfect host.

3. (sappy time now) Meeting Sirus - I met a hot boy who I now share my life with. He frustrates me, makes me learn new things (even if I don't want to!), makes me laugh, and sometimes cry. He pushes my buttons till I have had it up to *here* and then makes it up to me by being sweet, and caring.

4. Best show of the year - Lady Gaga in Vancouver. Musicians need to take note...THAT'S how you rock the stage. It fucking BLEW my mind!

5. Last but not least - my friends and family, to everyone that has been there for me. In person, online...you guys all rock, and you make my life what it is. I hope you all have a great start to 2010. Make sure you are safe tonight. I know you are all smart, but there will be idiots out there who aren't.

See you next year!

I have been having a bad week. Stress from the holidays, nye, my birthday, my period, guilt trips from my mom, etc. It all put me in a bad mood. I woke up this morning with this on my kitchen counter. It put a smile on my face and made me realize that I am appreciated. So remember it's the small things you do that can mean so much to others. :)

I don't know what to write about here. Just thought I would try my hand at this blogging thing. Not exactly sure what I am going to writing about. Although I am sure it will be silly, geeky, dark, and maybe even kinky at times. So basically I am saying that I will write about what ever in the hell I feel like writing about. I am not very eloquent, I am a horrible speller, and I like to use too many comma's. Warning : this blog may not be safe for work at times.
