So how are we going to get rid of bed bugs once and for all!!

Without to much of your time I wanted to be able to find out what solutions you all have tried when it comes to getting rid of bed bugs?

There are so many products on the market with mixed reviews about how these products work, how effective are they and whether or not they are safe to even use!

I know a lot of you come to my blog to find out how to get rid of your bed bugs problem. But how many of you have actually got a bed bugs problem?

You see, the main problem with bed bugs is they are nocturnal – night creatures. What To Do Instead

Instead of using insect repellent, the best way to avoid bed bugs is to be very proactive about checking for them in hotels and motels, as well as sleeping quarters in private homes. Pull aside bedding and lift your mattress to visually inspect areas these bugs typically inhabit. Because this bug has a preference for exposed facial skin, it’s not unusual to find nests of bedbugs, eggs and nymphs at the head of a mattress, and on either side towards the top. Box springs should also be checked thoroughly. Bedbugs tend to colonize close to their source of food, so that’s why this bug infestation will most often become apparent on or very near a bed, although carpeting around and beneath the bed and headboards and nightstand’s are equally susceptible to infestation. Spraying bedding, carpeting, mattresses, box springs and nightstands with insect repellent is completely ineffective, and even tried-and-true insect deterrents such as boric acid regularly fail, there is steam which can work quite well and cleaning with a vacuum is always better than using chemicals that may drive you out of your home. These bedbugs can hide just about anywhere so make sure if you use a professional service to kill them you should get rid of all the dust in your home and give a thorough clean beforehand they hopefully come in and get rid of your bed bugs!
