Well, it’s the SuperSix. The full carbon, race proven, lightweight, efficient, and last but not least, good looking Cannondale is available in a number of build kits from the affordable SRAM Apex all the way up to the new Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic group.

One ride around the parking lot will tell you this is a special bike. We’ve put a lot of emphasis on the new EVO, but this SuperSix is not one to cast aside just because it is more affordable. It has razor sharp handling for coming downhill confidently.

This bike is a particularly good value considering just two model years ago the base model was $3500. Infinite Cycles will have the best selling road bikes on sale for the spring rush.

Save up to $300 on SRAM Apex and Shimano 105 built SuperSix road bikes now through the end of March.

The SRAM Apex group features the new WiFli gearing (Wider gearing, faster shifting, lighter weight) so you can do all the climbing without the headache of running a triple crankset. On sale, this bike is just $1799, down from the regular $2000 price!

If you ask any cyclist what to look for when buying a bike, they will almost always say “get at least 105 components.” Well, the full carbon SuperSix 5 w/ 105 is it. Regularly $2300, we have them on sale for $1999. The 105 model is available in both men’s and women’s models.

We have lots of SuperSix bikes in stock in all sizes and color options. Because these bikes are on sale, they are not eligible for Membership Rewards. But remember, we do include our Infinite Lifetime Service with every single bike we sell.

If you’re looking for something other than a SuperSix on sale, take a look at our clearance bike list.

Only 125 will be available in the United States. They will be taking preorders and as you can imagine, they will sell out fast. With an anticipated out-of-the-box weight of 21.6 pounds for a fully capable full-suspension 29′er w/ matched 100mm travel, this is the lightest production bike in its class. This is truly the Ultimate mountain bike.

Price tag: $10,000

If you’re serious about ordering one of these rare bikes, you’ll need to make up your mind quickly and come down with a deposit as soon as possible.

The majority of Cannondale’s official brochure on the Scalpel 29′er Ultimate is quoted below:

In order to achieve this exceptional weight, product manager Johs Huseby selected the following components; Cannondale’s own Lefty Carbon 29′er XLR matched with the unique adjustable OPI stem/steerer and our Si Hollowgram SL crank. To complement this selection and following components were chosen; Enve Composite rims and handlebars, the flawless Shimano XTR drive train as well as XTR brakes, a Fizik Tundra 2 00 seat paired with the Cyrano carbon seat post and the brand new Schwalbe Racing Ralph 29×2.1 offering lighter weight and improved treade.

Lastly the new Fox RP23 with Adaptive Logic was chosen due to its excellent responsiveness and pedaling efficiency. The subtle lightweight paint scheme shed some extra grams and underlines our focus to reduce weight as much as possible on the frame.

We will offer this bike with two chain ring options. The Scalpel 29′er Ultimate will be equipped with a 39/26T double chain ring, and a 36T single ring plus MRP guide will be supplied additionally for those willing to go for a single chain ring.

The Scalpel 29′er Ultimate was presented to the public during the last Eurobike show and consequently raised significant interest from visitors.

Here are the specs of each Scalpel Carbon 29′er for comparison with published weights. We will be weighing our own models to verify published weights soon.

Cannondale’s loyalty to their customers is shown by their frame exchange/upgrade program (they also have a Headshok/Lefty exchange/upgrade program). If you are the original owner of any Cannondale, you may trade in your old frame for a sizable discount on any new Cannondale frame. This unique program can save you hundreds of dollars. Please contact us for details about this opportunity.

Remember, Cannondale has a lifetime warranty (from defects to the original owner) on every frame they have ever made, and these are no exception. We see more old Cannondale bikes on the road and trail than any other brand because they are built right and built to last. And in the event that it doesn’t, their warranty service is incredible.

On Friday we received our first batch of the new Cannondale Scalpel 29er 2′s. We’ve taken pictures and weighed it and it is a very impressive bike. We have mediums and larges available now, small and extra large coming later.

In the picture of the head tubes, you can see the difference in head tube angle when you move the cup from the top to the bottom of the head tube. Using our best measurement, we figure that moving the cup to the bottom slacks to head to angle out by roughly 1.5°. That change puts the Scalpel 29 into a trail bike geometry not too far from the Jekyll’s head tube angle.

The weight on both bikes in the picture is very respectable. The Scalpel 29 Carbon 1 ($6900) size large weighed in at 23.74 pounds with tubes still in the tires. The Scalpel 29 Carbon 2 ($4800) size large weighed in at 24.40 pounds with tubes in the tires. These are some respectable weights for a 29er, let alone a full-suspension model!

In Utah, we sell tons of Cannondale Flash 29′ers, both in carbon and aluminum frames. As 29′er technologies have advanced, the bikes have become more mainstream around the world. The thing that makes Cannondale’s 29′ers stand out above other bikes on the market is the Lefty. It makes steering more precise and accurate which can degrade on other forks as it gets longer to accomodate a bigger wheel.

In January, the cycling scene in Utah is pretty slow. Cyclocross season will be over, the mountain bike trails will probably be buried in snow, and even the faithful indoor trainer riders will start to go crazy spinning in their basements. Let us inject some biking excitement into your life.

We will be holding a Clinic Series in January on a to-be-determined weekday night. What would you like to learn about? In the past we’ve done clinics including

wrapping road handlebar tape,

changing flat tires,

adjusting mountain bike suspension,

adjusting shifting and brakes,

truing wheels,

bike washing,

finding the right size bike, and more.

What would you like to learn about? Give us some ideas and we’ll pull from your suggestions. We could cover Lefty bearing migration, rebuilding rear Fox shocks (nobody does it often enough), installing tubeless tires, hub adjustment, choosing cycling clothing, programming cycling computers… send us your suggestions!

AND if we use your idea, we’ll send you a $10 gift certificate! (If multiple people submit the same idea, the first one submitted gets it.)

If the submission form does not show up below, use this link: http://goo.gl/pSjkW
