Rumor : Windows 8 Can Play Xbox 360 Games ???

Ok, This rumor already hits the net on various website, so I'm deciding to put it to my blog to. as far we know Microsoft decide to merge Games For Windows Marketplace with Xbox.com as we can see in here.

Basically Xbox 360 its modified PC, and their OS is modified Windows, Xbox 360 Controller is compatible with PC, and Microsoft decide to release PC version in their hardware site. even their Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows its compatible with all Xbox Accessories, to bad this Wireless receiver is rare in my country and hard to find, the only way we can get it is buy a Xbox 360 wireless controller with the price around $ 60. and the last one their last weapon Kinect can be used in PC to, even its used 3rd party driver, but from their reaction they will release official driver soon for windows 7. maybe in windows 8 they already include this driver.

All of this is still Rumor, and I think its not a Microsoft style, its not Bill Gates style. we all know Microsoft right, its to good to be true. maybe the question is which version of windows 8 that can played Xbox 360 games, yeah they always have a various version of windows with their own advantage and disadvantage. but lets we say this feature will be come in Windows 8 Ultimate version.

But if this rumor comes true PC will have a advantage in LIVE play with their keyboard and mouse, don’t know yet if there will be a cross platform LIVE games. but I think there won’t be any chance like that. but as a PC gamer this will be a good news but don’t hold your breath for waiting.

Sherlock [TV Series] 2010

Imagine the Great Detective live in 21st Century to solved crime, that would be great right. well i think this mini series is epic because I'm a die hard fans of Sherlock Holmes.
This series cover a story of sherlock holmes in present day as a consulting detective ("only one in the world and he invented the job") as a crime solver, fighting the mysterious Organization called Moriarty. which is their crime is always perfect and only can be solved by sherlock. His Deduction is always become the great aspect from this series, because this series take place as a present days you can see a lot of technology from now like a cell phone, Laptop, and Blog. well sherlock and dr. watson is a blogger now LOL. this series only contain 3 episode with 90 minutes running time/episode, and the conclusion in episode 3 is still mysterious. well let's hope next year they release the next season.

A free and open source karaoke game inspired by the Singstar™ game available on the Playstation®. It allows up to six players to sing along with music using microphones in order to score points, depending on the pitch of the voice and the rhythm of singing.

UltraStar Deluxe was started as a modification of UltraStar. Whiteshark initially offered to collaborate with Corvus5, but this offer was declined. Instead Whiteshark started to add some features on his own with the help of Mota. The first release is known as X-Mas mod, due to a release date around Christmas time. This attracted the attention of other developers that were willing to help. The team grew and the source code departed more and more from the original. Smaller features are often implemented in both projects allowing them to benefit from one another. Though the projects' implementations of such features often differ. UltraStar Deluxe is different in three key ways from UltraStar. Significant effort has been put into improving reliability by repairing bugs. The second difference is the visual appearance. Sparkling stars and various other effects have been added in addition to skin support. Many effects are also based on the Singstar on PS3. Many new features have been implemented:

* More video formats are supported, such as DivX, XviD, FLV, Avi and WMV.
* Singing screen with golden notes, line bonus and popups
* Lua scriptable Party mode with various game types. This includes support for lua plugins that allow further extension of such game types.
* Improved song management and selection with the ability to search for songs and use playlists
* More detailed statistics screen

UltraStar Deluxe is written in Object Pascal, and compiles with Delphi, Free Pascal Compiler and Lazarus. Ports for Linux and Mac OS X are being worked on. An early and unstable version is available as a Debian binary package from their project website.

As of version 1.0.1 UltraStar Deluxe runs on Linux via Wine.

As of version 1.1 UltraStar Deluxe runs on Linux natively.

Masalah Masalah ISP di Indonesia

Oke, Berawal dari tanggal 09-10-10 kemaren. ada sms dari provider smart bahwa akan dilakukan maintenance jaringan di daerah saya, dan maintenance ini dimulai per tanggal 10-10-10 (angka bagus buat mereka).

awalnya mungkin tujuan dari maintenance ini positif ya, dari expand jaringan mereka dan lainnya yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan kualitas. Tetapi ujung ujungnya mereka akan menerapkan FUP (Fair Usage Policy) ato yang lebih familier dengan sebutan Kuota Pakai Internet. Yah selama ini Provider ini dikenal dengan slogan Hebat Hemat, dan Internet Kencang tanpa batas pemakaian/penggunaan. Memang hak mereka untuk merubah rubah keputusan, tetapi saya sebagai konsumen merasa sangat dirugikan dengan keputusan ini (yah beberapa teman teman dari forum sebelah pun banyak yang merasa sama).

Kenapa Di negara kita ini momok menakutkan bagi pengguna internet selalu sama yaitu pembatasan pemakaian dan penggunaan. dan pihak provider pun selalu melakukan promo dengan kalimat Unlimited, padahal bila mereka mau jujur terhadap konsumen tinggal disebutkan saja bahwa paket mereka tuh Limited dengan batasan seperti ini, cukup banyak pelanggan baru yang tertipu dengan slogan slogan Klasik berbunyi Unlimited. Perlu diketahui sekarang penggunaan internet di negara kita ini sudah cukup banyak, bahkan segala kegiatan sekarang harus dilakukan via internet/online. seperti pendaftaran CPNS dan lain lainnya, saya pernah merasakan ketika menggunakan salah satu provider gsm yang katanya unlimited ketika harus melakukan pendaftaran online, betapa repotnya dan lambatnya, bahkan sampe beberapa kali error. lalu kebijakan pemerintah pun masih kurang mensupport perlindungan konsumen yang sebenarnya banyak dirugikan/dikadalin oleh pihak provider. bahkan Kemkominfo pun masih banyak mengurusi hal yang sebenarnya kurang perlu dilakukan.

Dan sampe kapan ISP di negara kita akan seperti ini...???

Tambahan dikit :
Saya sudah merasakan cukup banyak ISP dari era dial up, broadband, sampe mobile broadband. dan semuanya saya rasa sama saja dan selalu mengecewakan konsumen, dan pasti selalu ada kalimat murah kok mau cepat, padahal di negara tetangga kita tarif internetnya lebih murah dari negara kita. so karena itu negara kita selalu di cap terbelakang.

Service Center Problem

Yeah finally, my notebook got the same graphic problem from the fail Nvdia chipset. but my country have different policy for this problem. well i must pay about $ 300, for service. damn, this is not the user fault. why i must pay that................!!!
and the Global service center give a free service for the same problem (not including my country). well just a friendly reminder. don't ever use my notebook brand...........!!!

Hello Bioware, Please Fix This.............!!!

First since the released of Dragon Age Awakening expansion pack, at the same time you released a 1.03 patch. and the Awakening game cannot be played without this patch.

and here is my problem, since i applied this patch, the game is become more unstable and get random interval CTD (crash to desktop).

patches is made to fix the game, not crashing the game. so please released a new patch to fix this.

many people in your forum is having the same problem. but i think you didn't care about it.

DRM on Console

Just Got this old news, but i'm sharing it anyways.

It’s time we start implementing DRM on console games. I mean, look at this nonsense. The Xbox 360 version of BioShock 2 leaked yesterday, a full five days before its official release. The same thing happened with Mass Effect 2, which leaked something like six days for the Xbox 360 before its official release. Since publishers are so keen to treat PC gamers like filthy thieves, I say we start implementing annoying DRM on console games, too.
Granted, the differences between PC games and console games are such that you’d need to implement different forms of DRM, but here’s a few ideas.
• Game discs will be permanently linked to consoles. No taking that new game you just bought to your friend’s house to play there!
• On every disc is a special phone number that you need to call to get permission to play the game (phone centers open only from 9-5pm EST)
• To prevent online cheating, all game saves will be stored on, and only on, the publisher’s servers
• You need to sign up for four different “value enhancement” accounts in order download any and all DLC, which will then be linked to your social security number (or equivalent)
• Any game discs inserted into a console before the approved release date will result in a temporary console lockout, rendering your video game console inoperable until publishers’ technicians come to your house to verify that you are, indeed, a legitimate owner
These are just a few measures that can be taken to prevent console piracy. I mean, if we’re going to keep pretending that all PC gamers are pirates because the games are easily available only, well, why not take the same stance with console gamers? Surely, in 2010, it’s just as easy to burn an Xbox 360 game to a blank DVD as it is to mount an ISO of a PC game? Or do publishers think that flashing an Xbox 360 disc drive so it can run pirated games is beyond the abilities of your average 16-year-old kid?

my opinion is why not, all publisher treat pc gamer like a thief. so why console is didn't have the same treatment. well maybe because a big guy like microsoft pay all the publisher to exclusively release their games on their console. and slowly make pc gamer to buy their console.

Dragon Age Origin Expansion Pack

Just ordering this new expansion pack. hope this is good as the original dragon age origin.

First we now about ubisoft and their new DRM, which made every user must have permanent internet connection to play their games (and fast of course), now EA announce the same things after their release a brand new Command & Conquer series.

yeah, this doesn't make sense to me. why a offline gaming must have a permanent internet connection.

before this i'm receiving a comment about all of they doing this to stop 2nd hand games distribution, and pirate games maybe. but not all of us is having a good internet connection. so my hope is this both studio is releasing a patch. an offline patch for us.

this game price is cheap i think, its about idr 370.000 for the standard edition and idr 600000 for collector edition, but i must think twice to buy it, because of their new system.

in game spot this game receive just 7.0 outof 10 score. that's a small score for a new games.

I've bought this notebook on august 2008, yeah a good notebook spec with value price i think. you can have a great vga Geforce 8600m series in this notebook, even Dell Xps still using the 8400m series. This notebook have a good score to on windows vista, about 4.5, so it's a good notebook in my opinion....!!!
But there is one big problem, the overheating processor can execute autoshutdown command. Imagine you in the middle of work and your notebook suddenly shutdown automatically, or when your burning data to dvd and your notebook shutdown again. You must be really really depressed about this.
Well in their offical website, benq didn't mention this trouble and how to solve this, but when i read it in some hardware site and forum, they mentioning people with the same problem. this problem solve and back to normal when they dismantle the notebook cover and clean some dust in the heat sink, but i'm still didn't try it. because my notebook still under guarantee,
yeah maybe ill try it next time, when the guarantee is over.

Hahahahaha, Finally after waiting about 1 week my desktop is back. More powerful than before, but there's only one problem.....!!!
My CPU case is still the old one, and it's low on disk space to....!!!!

If your internet service provider block some website, that can be annoying right...???
you can freely access information and feel uncomfortable.
so i have a tricks that can be use.

1. Download ultrasurf (the latest version) from http://www.ultrareach.com/download_en.htm
2. Download firefox add-on (if you using firefox as your web browser)
3. Install firefox add-on.

So we have a WJ icon or text in the status bar (you can change it by right click on it).

4. Run ultrasurf application, and activate WJ in your firefox browser.
5. Ultrasurf will connect to the server and if successful, you can minimize it.
6. Just browse the website that been block by your ISP.

for my case here, my ISP block http://www.g-collections.com and http://www.peachprincess.com

Indosat M2 is Bad [Don't Use It]

Ive been using this internet connection since November 2008, since the first month the connection is very bad, it has no signal and always disconnect. and the bandwith it's not the same as the promotion says. Why the big company like indosat use big promotion crap like this and sell the worthless product...???
When i call the operator number, they always say we have a maintenance on the network..., yes they always say that sweet but technical word. The question is, how long the maintenance is ? and since when the maintenance is ?
Because all my friends who use this connection, always responded by that word.
so indosat going to lose another customer, and your product is not worthy to be bought by us.
