So who doesn't want to go to Europe? I do, and I will in the next couple of years. But for now we can look at the European Fashion Trends.......WOW!

Today I am focusing on Kate Beckinsale -

She is on the cover of Women's Health July/August - WOW!

If you have not already, you should definitely read the article. But the thing I am going to focus on is her workout routine. She has had to spend some time getting in great shape for her movies, and she looks terrific. In the article her Yoga instructor shares the moves that Kate uses as her core workout.

Do two or three sets of each four or five days a week.

Kate is 38 years old, and has another new movie coming out. Total Recall which Kate has to kick Jessica Biel's butt, so being in great shape was a no brainer.

Benefit - Posit Tint - this can be used as a lip tint and/or cheeky blush. I have tried it as lip tint and I really like it.

Benefit - Cha Cha Tint - This is the same as the above item, but it is a great coral color.

Benefit - High Beam - This works great for dark circles under the eyes, and also just to add that little luminous glow wherever it is needed.

Benefit - Erase Paste - I don't know about anyone else but around that time of the month, my face tends to break out a little. With really pale skin, blemishes can tend to look like neon signs. This paste works great as a concealer, and very little goes a long way.

Benefit - Bathina - Now this, I have had before. I love this stuff, I wear it on my legs when I wear a shorter dress or skirt. Going out dancing this on your legs, creates a luminous glow that also helps perfect those little imperfections we all have. This is soooo cool!!!!

Benefit - Foundation Brush - I have had this brush for a while, and it blends and smooths really well, I would definitely recommend this item.

Benefit - They're Real Mascara - I have mentioned this mascara before, the only thing that would make it even better is if it came in waterproof. Hopefully someday!!!

Reaction To Mixing Beauty Products!

Have you ever had a reaction to mixing beauty products?

Here is mine.
First, I followed my usual face cleansing routine which ends with using Apple Cyder Vinegar on a cotton ball. At night I use a night Olay eye cream, but I ran out so I used another Olay product I had but hadn't used in quite a while (since I started using the ACV). This morning I washed my face using my Roc resurfacing pads, then used the ACV and within 5 minutes the reaction started and within 10 minutes my face was red splotchy and especially under my eyes which began to get really puffy. The pictures were taken after some of the puffiness had already gone down.

I should probably stick to taking pictures of others, and not myself in the mirror.....huh?

So I went shopping today for some great beauty products to try, ready to hear about them?

Blinc - heated eyelash curler. I already had my mascara on, so I will try this on when I don't have mascara on.

Per-fekt - eye perfection gel. This stuff goes on like silk,

Go Smile - Touch Up Ampules. I have been absolutely additcted to these things for a while, use them after you have your morning coffee on the drive to work. Use them after lunch, they leave your mouth feeling fresh and your teeth shiny and clean. LOVE THEM!

Benefit - Girl Meets Pearl - This is great illuminating, where ever you like, it blends really easily.

So far, I am loving all of them.

How My Hair Has Changed With Age!

So as you know I was born a redhead, and as I have grown up and older my hair has changed. Not only the color but the texture also changes which affects how we style, care and wear our hair.

Here are some pics of my hair as a child.....once again, I must ask "Don't laugh too hard"....lol.

I noticed as I got into my teens my hair was healthy, but we used to perm our hair and then blow dry our hair straight. We used hot rollers, curling irons and sometimes left it in permed curls or waves. My hair is naturally straight, so I was always putting some kind of curl in it.

As I got a little older, I stopped the perms and started taking advantage of the naturally straight hair. This allowed my hair to get in better condition, grow faster and look much shinier.

Today I believe what you eat plays as big of a role in the health and look of your hair as do the products you use on your hair.

Washing your hair every day is very hard and drying to your hair, skipping a day or two if possible allows the natural oils to improve the health of your hair. I have found that over drying, over curling (or anything with heat) is very damaging as well. But eating healthy can change the health of your skin and your hair faster than any product you can apply externally, what you put inside of you affects every part of the body.

My hair has lightened to a strawberry blonde, it is still long, healthy and shinny because I eat healthy and I try to use great products as well as give my hair a break. It does not always have to look perfect, and I love the messy pile up on the head updo for the weekends. Just a few tips I have come up with, while sharing some really funny and some awful childhood pics.

Kim's Tips -

Skip Shampooing Sometimes:
Kim only washes her hair every two days, to keep it from drying out. She uses a gentle shampoo and conditioner every two days and a deep conditioning mask once a week. She keeps her hair shiny by using Moroccanoil and Carol's Daughter Monoi Hair Mask.

Eyebrow Shaping:
Kim gets her brows shaped by Anastasia Soare in Beverly Hills. She gets them waxed and then tweezed every three weeks.

Eye Shadow Application:
Kim applies translucent powder under her eyes prior to applying eye shadow, making it easier to wipe away the flecks of shadow if any should fall. For long lasting color she also dusts a layer of that same powder from the lash lines to the brows before applying her eye shadow.

Best Shades:
Kim uses Nars Blush in Orgasm and mixes it with Revlon lipsticks and Yves Saint Laurent glosses.

For Maxing Out Her Lashes:
Kim's layers mascaras to achieve her look, she uses Lashes by M.A.C. Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara and Lancome Doll Lashes.

Creating Contours:
Kim puts on all her foundation first, then powders her face and then she applies concealer. She blends the concealer with a pink egglike sponge called the BeautyBlender. Then she countours using the shape of a 3. Draw an invisisble three on each side of your face, cheekbones, under chin and then the top. Kim uses Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte.

For Makeup Removal:
Kim uses Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in Night Calming. She never goes to bed without washing off her makeup.
