Follow the steps below to change the partition using Disk Management.”

Click on Start.
Right-click on Computer then click on Manage .
Click on Disk Management located under Storage.
You will need to shrink a volume first if there is no unallocated space but if you have any unallocated space you can use it to expand the particular volume.
To shrink a volume, right-click on a volume then click on Shrink Volume, then adjust the space to create some unallocated space.
After adjusting the space, click Shrink to decrease the size of the particular partition
You can now use that space to increase another partition size.
To increase pa partition, right-click on the partition you want to increase then click on Extend Volume.

Here is what you must remember the unallocated space MUST BE contiguous connecting space behind the volume you want to increase or it will not work out or the Extend Volume option will remain greyed out.

It can happen to anyone that a CD that you have inserted in the CD Drive gets stuck causing the drive to get jammed and not eject when the eject button is pressed.
This usually happens due to a worn out CD but do not worry as you can manually open the CD Drive within seconds.
Steps:
1.    What you need is a pin like a Paper Clip. Just ensure that the pin is neither too thin not too thick.

2.    Bend one corner of the paper clip so that it becomes straight and behaves like a poking device.
3.    Now notice a tiny hole in front of the drive near the eject button.

Push the clip in this ejector hole firmly. This will hit the emergency eject latch which will open the drive.
4. The CD Drive will come out a little.
5. Pull the drive to open it completely

How to share an internet connection on LAN?

If you have a fully functional LAN then net sharing is few click away, yes few clicks. I assumed that you have already a broadband connection and account configured on your PC. Just go to “My Network Places” properties, and then select your broadband connection. Now right click on it and select properties. Now broadband properties dialog box should be appear. Here select “Advanced” tab.

Now check “Allow other network users to connect through this computer" internet connection” and uncheck below two options. Now press “OK” button. This will give you a message stating that IP address of present working PC will be set to “192.168.0.1”, click OK. If you assigned this address to any other computer then change it to something else otherwise it will give IP address conflict error.

Broadband Connection properties.

Now a hand like icon should appear below the broadband connection, indicating that it has been shared.

Go to other PC, select “My Network Places” properties, and then select your LAN connection. Now right click on it and select properties. Now LAN properties dialog box should be appear. Here select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” as did during IP address assignment. Now click properties button,” Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties” dialog should appear. Here you need to give the “Default Gateway” and “DNS Server” IP as shown in the image. Repeat this step on other PCs too.

Connect the internet on server PC where internet connection is physically attached, then try to access internet on other PC. If you see the positive results then Congrats! Else;

Check LAN connection. If you can access Shared Folders then follow next step else you need to check internet sharing from beginning.

You need to check your internet connection again. Try this, press window key + R, now type this without quotes “ping www.google.com -t”. If you get reply as given in below image then net sharing is OK your internet browser corrupted or internet browser setting changed to use proxy address. Please off all proxy address. Now you should able to browse.

How To Create a LAN connection between 2 PCs

[WE have already discussed this before ]we see how to connect to computers together to share files and resources. We can go about it either the wired way or the wireless one. But the wireless way is pretty expensive. So in this tut, we consider the wired way.

To do it the wired way, we need either 2 normal ethernet cables and a Hub / Switch. OR a crossover ethernet cable. We choose the 2nd way as it is more cost effective.

To create a LAN network using a crossover cable, we just need a crossover (Cross crimped RJ45 / CAT5) cable and a LAN (Ethernet) card in both computers. Most computer motherboards have onboard ethernet these days.

We refer to the 2 computers as PC1 and PC2.

First of all, we connect the cross crimped ethernet cable in the LAN RJ45 ports of both the computers.
Now we start with configuring the computers.

PC1:

1. Just right-click “My Computer” and click Properties.
2. Select the “Computer Name” tab and click the “Change” button.
3. Change the computer name to whatever you want, here we name it PC1. Change the workgroup to WG. (The workgroup name should be the same in both computers)
4. Click OK.

Now, to configure the TCP/IP connection settings,
1. Goto “Control Panel” >> “Network connections”
2. Right-click on your LAN connection and click “Properties”. In the “General” tab, select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”. Click the “Properties” button.
3. Set the Values
IP Address – 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask – 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway – 192.168.0.2
4. Click OK and you are done for PC1.

PC2:

1. Just right-click “My Computer” and click Properties.
2. Select the “Computer Name” tab and click the “Change” button.
3. Change the computer name to PC2. Change the workgroup to WG. (The workgroup name should be the same in both computers)
4. Click OK.

Now, to configure the TCP/IP connection settings,
1. Goto “Control Panel” >> “Network connections”
2. Right-click on your LAN connection and click “Properties”. In the “General” tab, select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”. Click the “Properties” button.
3. Set the Values

You can access the other computer in “My network Places”. You can also play multi-player games using this connection. For easier access you can map a drive on the network to a local drive by “Tools” >> “Map network drive”.

I have tried turbo c in win7 by manual method, and with that method what I feel is installing Emulated Turbo C++ IDE 3.0 (C for win 7) software is good when compared with DOSBox installation method. Because in DOSBox method some of the shortcut keys of turbo c software won’t work (perform different task) and number pad (keyboard) won’t work properly (ex: to turn on numpad we have to press NumLk button twice or thrice to turn on) and configuring turbo c software for windows 7 64 bit pc is some what difficulty and time-consuming process.

So those who are looking for installing or working with turbo c in windows 7, I recommend you to go for Emulated Turbo C++ IDE 3.0 by mohit saxena instead of DOSBox method. According the developer he said turbo c supports full screen in windows vista and windows 7 O.S but I don’t think it fully support full screen. In both the DOSBox method and Emulated Turbo C++ IDE 3.0 method turbo c opens in same screen size.
