Follow the following steps to install GTA IV: San Andreas:



1. Run IVSASetup.exe.

	A window will shop up. Follow its instructions to proceed.



2. Let Setup prepare your GTA folder.

	Setup can copy the required files from an existing GTA IV or EFLC folder to a desired new folder, dedicated to the mod.

	If you have already copied your GTA IV or EFLC folder, Setup can prepare that one by removing all the unneeded files.

	The copy operation may take several minutes.



3. Let Setup download the real mod installer.

	The first Setup application is very small, which is better for users to download and to redistribute.

	Setup will download the real mod installer at this step, which will install the actual mod files.

	The size of the download is around 1 GB and may take several minutes, depending on your download speed.

	NOTE: If you've downloaded the full offline installer, the real mod installer starts directly.



4. Proceed with the Setup by following the steps of the mod installer.

	The real mod installer (InstallShield) will take it from here. Follow its simple steps to install the mod.

	You can select what compontents to install during this step, choose Custom component selection to do so.



5. Wait till the mod is installed.

	After you've been through all the required steps, Setup will copy all the mod files to the prepared directory.

	This may take a minute or so.



6. Play!

	After the mod is installed, you can directly play GTA IV: San Andreas by checking the option in the installer.

	To start the mod otherwise, please read the section "How to Play" below.

To run GTA IV: San Andreas, simply use the shortcuts on the desktop or in the Start Menu.

If these don't exist, run IVSALauncher.exe in the installation folder.



The launcher application will automatically check for updates. Click the Play button to launch the game.

Q: I get a File I/O error during the installation.

A: In the error message, the concerned file is mentioned. Remove the Read Only property for this file.

Q: Game crashes as soon the loading screens go away.

A: Remove your savegames (either My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames or X:\Users\\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames).



Q: When the game is loaded I still see Liberty City, why?

A: Some sort of mod protection, remove files.txt in the root and filelist.pak in pc\data.



Q: Game crashes near Vinewood.

A: You probably use empty paths.img.

You can:

	- Restore R* paths.img (paths will be enabled)

	- Restore R* paths.img, and open images.txt (/common/data) and search for:

		platformimg:/models/cdimages/componentpeds	1

	 put a # before it:

Q: I see lights in the distance, while there aren't roads or lamps.

A: It are the lights from far distance in Liberty City.

Remove those by deleting distantlights.dat in pc\data\paths.



Q: I can't use the phone ingame and I'm using R* script.img and original paths.img.

A: Don't use modified loadingscreens.dat files.



Q: I can't use the phone ingame and I'm using cleaned script.img.

A: Unfortunately cleaned script.img means no phone. You can access the Video Editor by pressing F8 if you have installed Scripts.

How to Write or Burn a Mac Dmg Image File on Windows PC

I have just sold my beloved iMac G4 17 for a second hand powerbook g4 1 Ghz. What can I say, I have to work on the road, I would look like a nut case to carry an iMac around with me everywhere. What I didn't realize is that the powerbook I just bought has no Superdrive. But I thought it would be ok, since I also have a PC with DVD writer at home.

Until...I needed to open or burn a dmg file which resides in my PC but just couldn't do it. The file simply unknown to Windows. Some suggested that just rename the dmg extension to .iso and burn it using any PC burning software but I found that it didn't work for me since my DVD that I had to burn, it was a double Layer DVD. So, I Googled around and I am glad I did. And the solution is the software called Transmac.

With Transmac for Windows, dmg file can be read & burn like on a Mac using Disk Utility. Transmac let you mount dmg file, expand then burn dmg file to DVD, CD and DL DVD (before you can burn you need to expand compressed dmg file first). I have to say that at first I didn't think it would work at all. Not just working but it is also very easy to use as well, it even works with Bootable Mac DVD like Leopard DVD. You can download a 15 days trial version of Transmac here. After you try it, I am sure you will want to buy it. Transmac was surely a great spend for me in a long time. Note: I started this post just to tell people that they can write CD/DVD from a dmg image file on Windows PC and the easiest way to do it is by using a software called Transmac.

We still have a couple of issues, though – once again a total lack of mouse support in the menus. And the drift mode requires such precision it’s more an exercise in how gently you can feather the accelerator, rather than the fun, smoke-pluming lunacy of GRID.

Unlike GRID’s scattershot career mode (throwing you from a Demolition Derby to a Formula 3 single-seater and so forth), SHIFT offers much more predictable progression. Working your way up through four tiers of races, from a VW Golf or tired old 1970’s Skyline up to a Bugatti Veyron, McLaren F1 or Pagani Zonda is typically Need for Speed.

In fact, even with the new direction and serious motorsport intentions, it’s very clear that SHIFT is a Need for Speed product. Although, being co-developed by EA Black Box (who’ve worked on NFS games for the last decade), this shouldn’t come as a surprise. While EA has entrusted driving duties to Slightly Mad, Black Box have concentrated on placing their unmistakable stamp on SHIFT too.

Beyond the aforementioned modification sections and the glitzy presentation, this comes in the form of your driver profile. With the devil of Aggression and angel of Precision sat on either shoulder (the two key areas in which your driving skills are judged by), you’ll be rewarded according to how you behave behind the wheel. Dtree is a script that available to add to our blog.
Dtree Menu is similar to Window Explorer. so you can describe your article
aby using Dtree so that easier to find.
To make Dtree Menu, follow these steps :

in Layout, click Add Page Elemen

klik add new page elemen, so copy the following script to the box.

note :
d.add(1,0,'Node 1','link.html');
d.add(2,1,'Node 1.1','link.html');

on number 1,0 . number 1 below is a branch of the numbers 1 above 2,1
so if you want to create a new folder you can add the number 0 after the previous figures EX : 3,0
remember! the number before the number sequence 0 must follow a number of top 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and so on.
Writing node 1, node 1.1, node 1.1.1 etc. you can replace with your post title or the other reply. while link html link you replace with the address!

If you already understand the script above then you will be easier to descrbe. even you can add it again with this :

Installing a car to GTA San Andreas (SA)

who does not know the GTA?
GTA San Andreas is the "Rock Star" owner.
GTA has many versions, starting from GTA III, GTA Vice City, San Andreas, and many more.

but, cause of GTA IV is not our discussion for this pasot, so let's talk about GTA San Andreas.
This GTA Version is very great and interesting. caused by this version is available to edit.
you would feel bored with the car! so in this GTA, we can change the all of car! you even could change the all car, weapons, plane adn bikes. that's great, isn't it?

but, how the way?
ok, follow these step :

First, download tools for installing car in GTA San Andreas is "GGMM". See the picture above. click here to download the tools "GGMM".
after downloaded, Extract GGMM.exe and GTAINTERFACE.dll to your GTA San Andreas Folder (right on the folder gta_sa.exe). because GGMM will not run if on the other folders except in GTA SA.
to find the car, let us go to GTA Inside GTA Forums GTA Garage The GTA Place and many other places.
Download one of the cars you like, the dile download usually in the form of RAR, or zip.so you need a file compression like WinRAR or WInZip.

So in the file in a ZIP or RAR, there are 2 - 3 files. the two are very useful files are files that have extension. TXD and. dff. example sadler.txd and sadler.dff and other files is readm.txt. if there is readme file, then you have to open it because in it there are some line that is also useful for performance and ability of the car.
inside there is usually a complete handling.cfg, vehicles.ide, cacols.dat, and carmods.dat
so, copy of an existing line on the readme, for example:

Open GGMM tools, write Sadler in the box to the left.
after the old Sadler car Shown, click installer, click create back up, after that click the installer again and click on manual mod installer.
it will appear online box that must be filled.
copy line on vehicles.ide, and paste to ide line. as well as handling, carmods and carcols. remember! paste the carcols line in colour box!
after all done click install.
with a few seconds then your car will change
but there is also a car that does not have a readme, but nevermind you can also install it directly.

and do not forget to back up your data that exist on your GTA SA that's (data, text, anim, and models)

If there are two carcols like this : 200, 0, 0 # 127 crimson red red
so copy and paste in the carcols. the way, open folder GTA SA / data / carcols.dat then paste it in the bottom line like that.
