Microsoft Reissued Security Fix for Windows XP

Microsoft has reissued a critical patch for the Bluetooth stack in Windows XP, saying the original fix did not correct a vulnerability that a hacker could exploit to take control of a PC.
The original patch worked on Windows Vista, but failed to accomplish its task in Windows XP SP2 and SP3, Christopher Budd, a member of the Microsoft Security Response Center, said in the group's blog.
After releasing the patch in Security Bulletin MS08-30, Microsoft engineers "learned that the security updates for Windows XP SP2 and SP3 might not have been fully protecting against the issues discussed in that bulletin," Budd said.
"Our investigation found that while the other security updates were providing protections for the issues discussed in the bulletin, the Windows XP SP2 and SP3 updates were not," he said.
The latest patch would be distributed through the same channels as the original fix, including Microsoft's Automatic Update tool.
A preliminary investigation of the original failing has found that it may be related to "two separate human issues," Budd said, offering no other details. "When we're done with our investigation, we'll take steps to better prevent it in the future."
The vulnerability within the Bluetooth stack, which handles communications over the wireless specification, would enable an attacker to install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. Microsoft labeled the flaw "critical."
Microsoft released the original fix June 10 in a package of seven security patches addressing 10 vulnerabilities. Three of the bulletins were rated "critical," three "important," and one "moderate."

Joomla! is a free, open source content management system written with PHP for publishing content on the world wide web and intranets using a MySQL database. What's in a name?
The name is a phonetic spelling of the Swahili word jumla meaning "all together" or "as a whole". It hwas chosen to reflect the commitment of the development team and community to the project. The first release of Joomla! (Joomla! 1.0.0) was announced on September 16, 2005. This was a re-branded release of Mambo 4.5.2.3 combined with other bug and moderate-level security featuresixes. In the project's roadmap, the core developers say Joomla! 1.5 will be a completely re-written code base built with PHP 5.
How does Joomla Work?

10,000 B.C. is a prehistoric love story, about a young man trying to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend.
Themovie begins with the great narrator Omar Sharif
about the spirting sand nature, that goes on forever & ever..which has no bearing onwhat comes next.

The movie’s best feature is its massivelandscapes on this journey.
And, so it is in 10,000 B.C., where avariety of off-the-rack plot points and generic heroic journeys are decorated with computer-graphics like the mammoths and saber-toothedtigers.The trailer was really awesome with stunning visuals of mammoths and huge animals but that was the only good part of the movie.
This is a film that makes you feel a bit uneasy as you watch it. It’sprobably because its story too unreal and not enough fantasy, that and many of the action scenes and plot points we’ve seen before in otherfilms.
There’s just nothing to justify a big screen viewing--- and that’s a disappointment considering that this was suppose to be a grand historical piece action film.
Roland Emmerich is up to his old tricks with this one. For those of you that have no idea who Emmerich is, he’s the guy that brought such deliciously bland classicsas Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow etc.

What is Page Rank?

Introduction

Google runs on a unique combination of advanced hardware and software. The speed you experience can be attributed in part to the efficiency of our search algorithm and partly to the thousands of low cost PC's we've networked together to create a superfast search engine.

The heart of our software is PageRank™, a system for ranking web pages developed by our founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Stanford University. And while we have dozens of engineers working to improve every aspect of Google on a daily basis, PageRank continues to play a central role in many of our web search tools.

PageRank Explained

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at considerably more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; for example, it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important." Using these and other factors, Google provides its views on pages' relative importance.

Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don't match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines dozens of aspects of the page's content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it's a good match for your query.
Integrity

Google's complex automated methods make human tampering with our search results extremely difficult. And though we may run relevant ads above and next to our results, Google does not sell placement within the results themselves (i.e., no one can buy a particular or higher placement). A Google search provides an easy and effective way to find high-quality websites that contain information relevant to your search.

What is a blog?
A blog is a website where written posts and articles are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. Actually the word "blog" came from "weblog".

At the beginning of blogging people like to use their blogs as personal diaries.
People used blogs to post and share their personal photos, videos, and other information with their friends and family members.

When Google Adsense came into the web world blogs are commercialized. Everyone opening a blog, writing content on their blog and earning a good income by showing relevant ads on their blogs by affiliating with Google Adsense and other Adsense relative programs.

You've got your blog set up and you've started posting pithy, useful information that your niche market would benefit from and enjoy. Days go by, you keep publishing, but no one comments and your traffic stats are barely registering. What do you do?
Like any website you own, you must do some blog promotion to start driving traffic to your site. Here are 16 steps, in no particular order of importance, that you can start doing now to get traffic moving to your blog.

1. Set up a Bloglet subscription form on your blog and invite everyone in your network to subscribe: family, friends, colleagues, clients, associates.

2. Set up a feed on MyYahoo.com so your site gets regularly spidered by the Yahoo search engine (see tutorial on http://www.biztipsblog.com)

15. Write articles to post around the web in article directories. Include a link to your blog in the author info box (See example in our signature below).

16. Make a commitment to blog everyday. 10 minutes a day can help increase your traffic as new content attracts search engine spiders. Put it on your calendar as a task every day at the same time.
