Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the operation and administration of the Computer networks, servers and network security systems

- Manage and monitor Network Management system to optimize network performance and availability of the data communication system

- Monitor the performance of the network and troubleshoots any problems such as slow performance or network crashes

- Monitor the maintenance for Computer network infrastructures, Utilities and Data Communication Equipment.

Requirements:
 Degree in Computer Science, IT/Computer Engineering or equivalent with outstanding academic credentials, preferable with a certified network qualification;
 Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in the related field especially with large ICT environment.
 Good working knowledge of the following operating systems including Windows 2000-2003 Server, AIX / Unix, Oracle DB 11i and SQL.
 Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of ICT hardware and software including WIFI, CCTV
and wireless components;
 Strong working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and hardware components such as Cisco, 3Com and etc.

TUNE TALK SETS UP THAI JV

KUALA LUMPUR, 13 December 2010 – Tune Talk Sdn Bhd, a member of the Tune Group of Companies has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Bangkok-based King International Resource Zone Co. Ltd (KIRZ) to set up Tune Talk Thailand.

Under the MOU, Tune Talk Thailand will be incorporated as a wireless reseller and mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) for TOT Public Company Limited (TOT), the Thai government-owned telecommunications company in the Kingdom.

Tune Talk will own 49% of Tune Talk Thailand while the remaining 51% is held by KIRZ. Tune Talk Thailand is expected to be operational by mid-January 2011.

The MOU was signed by Tune Talk Chairman Dato' Sri Tony Fernandes and Julpas 'Tom' Kruesopon of KIRZ, who will assume the position Managing Director of Tune Talk Thailand. The signing was witnessed by Tune Talk CEO Jason Lo and Wichien Naksrinual, the former head of 3G division at TOT, in a ceremony held in Bangkok last week.

Fernandes said: "Asean is home to over 600 million people and this presents such a big market for us to tap from. Tune Talk Thailand is our first break towards becoming the Asean MVNO and with an MVNO arrangement in Thailand, we aim to deliver a better roaming proposition and local call rates for Tune Talk subscribers traveling within and between Malaysia and Thailand."

Meanwhile, Kruesopon said: "It is an honour to have the opportunity to work with Mr. Tony Fernandes and the entire Tune Talk family in bringing a new and exciting mobile service to the people of Thailand."

Tune Talk launched its commercial service in Malaysia in August 2009 and operates as an MVNO riding on the extensive network of Celcom Axiata Berhad. Tune Talk has since activated 1.5 million subscribers, offering the lowest flat rates for voice, messaging and data services. Tune Talk is a licensed Network Service Provider and Application Service Provider with Numbering Block sanctioned by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

KIRZ, established in 1995, is a commercial internet service provider in Thailand having its core connectivity of Internet International Gateway (IIG) and National Internet Exchange (NIX) provided through fiber optic, metro ethernet and pre-Wimax transmissions.

NETWORK SYSTEM APPLICATION EXECUTIVE
(Selangor - CYBERJAYA)

Responsibilities:

Daily update of social media (wikimedia, blogs and facebook) with texts, photos, videos, url links, etc
Daily scanning and updating of Tourism promotion featured in the mass media (newspaper, websites)
Create Processing of customer's reservation, bookings and follow-up on reservation, call suppliers, verify deliveries and full fillments) & upgrade system customer enquiries.
To perform installation, configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting the office networks infrastructure (crucial).
To perform installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting Windows servers and Linux servers as well.
To perform security hardening of Microsoft servers and Linux servers.
To provide daily door access system and phone system support.
To administer, maintain and troubleshoot office PCs (i.e. Windows XP and Vista 7), network printers.
To liaise and/or source with/for local partners in others country to resolve the problems of internet connection, phone system, network printer, special applications projects related for reservation or booking for two way cooperation company networking system.
Setup and configure application environments for new site implementations; configurations include setup of, SQL database build out & staging, request/configure application server, setup HL7 interfaces
Perform thorough analysis of application specific updates/upgrades by testing updates.
Work closely with database administrators to troubleshoot SQL Server issues, test database updates, and provide them with application specific knowledge when necessary.
Assist company in any related problem within IT, providing application configuration knowledge when necessary.
Work with Network staff when necessary and assist them with troubleshooting application server issues
Assist development/business analysts with analyzing project requests to determine feasibility and gather requirements

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Russian
Applicants must be willing to work in CYBERJAYA.
Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
Positive attitude, relaxed demeanor, and perseverance required to troubleshoot/resolve complex technical issues while balancing multiple priorities
Experience troubleshooting applications hosted with Terminal Services.
Create/Maintain design & development specifications, documentation using Microsoft products such as Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Ability to travel as required by project.
