			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>It was way past midnight when I finished <a href="http://www.warriorplus.com/linkwso/cryg2g/1704" target="_blank">reading Willie Crawford&#8217;s diary</a>.</p>
<p>No, I wasn&#8217;t snooping.  Willie let a small group read a day by day diary he kept while pursuing an ambitious goal &#8211; <b>to make $100,000 dollars in a month!</b></p>
<p>The notes Willie shared impacted me on many different levels.  They will for you, too.  One aspect was how he flowed projects and promotions out so that the <b>momentum built from one of them continued with the next</b>, on and on, growing in force and producing ever-increasing results.</p>
<p>I decided to implement that approach right away.</p>
<p>To test a viable alternative to <b>Aweber</b>, which has been my <a href="http://www.ezinemarketingcenter.com/aweber/" target="_blank">main email marketing service provider</a> for a long time, I signed up to a newer service called <a href="http://www.yezzar.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Yezzar.com</a></p>
<p>For the list I plan to build using it, I&#8217;m setting myself a &#8216;stretch&#8217; target &#8211; of <b>5,000 new subscribers in a month</b>.  A list of that size should be a fair test of the service&#8217;s capabilities.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll be doing many things to build that list, like <a href="http://www.ultimatesocialmediagiveaway.com/go/507/jv" target="_blank">joining a social media marketing giveaway event</a> in late February.</p>
<p>Then I figured the momentum from all that effort could be harnessed to another project.  January&#8217;s <b>&#8217;30 Day Blog Challenge&#8217;</b> was an unqualified success, benefiting the participants on multiple ways.  So why not a <a href="http://www.ezinemarketingcenter.com/30list/" target="_blank"><b>&#8216;List Building Challenge&#8217;</b></a> for February?</p>
<p>Next, I asked myself how that energy can be channeled effectively &#8211; and came up with a way to tie it in to my annual <a href="http://www.chdinfo.com" target="_blank"><b>Congenital Heart Disease Awareness</b></a> building event on February 14th, <i>&#8220;A Day for Hearts&#8221;</i>.</p>
<p>See where this is going?</p>
<p>Each individual component of a plan links up with another, lending some of its momentum to the next, and in turn being daisy-chained into one more.</p>
<p>Big dreams spark big challenges.</p>
<p>The bigger your dreams, the bigger your challenges will be.</p>

<p>There  are just five steps to turn your hard-earned experience,  knowledge and  wisdom into an information product others want &#8211; and are  glad to pay you  for.</p>
<ul>
<li>Stock Taking</li>
<li>Market and Keyword Research</li>
<li>Content Creation</li>
<li>Profit Models</li>
<li>Marketing</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Take Stock</strong></p>
<p>First, take stock.  Think about what you  know, at a higher, deeper, &#8216;expert&#8217; level.  They could be related to  your work, your life experience, your education, your family  circumstances, religious beliefs, personality, hobbies or anything at  all.</p>
<p>It has to be something you are passionate about, know at a  more than casual level, and are eager to share with others in a way that  will benefit them massively.</p>
<p><strong>Research Your Market</strong></p>
<p>Next,  study the market demand for what you know.  If you are passionate about  the mating habits of fresh water newts, it would be &#8216;sterile&#8217; knowledge &#8211;  unless you know there are huge crowds of others like you who also find  it fascinating, and want to know more!</p>
<p>Research the demand for the  kind of information you possess.  Try and locate groups of people who  want what you know, and see if you can access them easily enough to  market your product to easily.</p>
<p><strong>Create Content</strong></p>
<p>The third step  is to create content.  This should come easy to you if you have  correctly identified a topic you are passionate about.  Experts who know  their subject would find creating an information product &#8211; or ten &#8211; as  easy as falling off a log!</p>
<p><strong>Study Profit Models</strong></p>
<p>Once you have  identified a niche, studied market demand and planned the product  creation process, you need to think about ways to turn the information  into profit.</p>
<p>Things are complex &#8211; yet, at their core, they are  simple.  And at a very basic level, there are only 3 &#8216;models&#8217;  infopreneurs use.</p>
<ul>
<li>#1 &#8211; Direct Selling</li>
<li>#2 &#8211; Content Publishing</li>
<li>#3 &#8211; Lead Generating</li>
</ul>
<p><em>&#8216;Direct selling&#8217; </em>involves, as the name suggests, creating an information  product, writing a sales letter to share it with others in exchange for a  payment, and then convincing a prospect that your offer is worth  accepting &#8211; and finally, completing the transaction.</p>
<p><em>&#8216;Selling&#8217;</em> doesn&#8217;t have to involve only products.  It could be a subscription to  your list, a registration to your coaching program, a decision to call  your toll-free number or drive up to your store or mail in a rebate  coupon.</p>
<p>If your online business aims to &#8216;sell&#8217; a product or  service, your desired end point is to get the order.  If it aims to  &#8216;sell&#8217; a subscription, your goal is to get a prospect to sign up to your  mailing list.  If it strives to convince a visitor to make a decision,  success is measured by how many of them actually make it.</p>
<p><em>Content  publishing</em> is the second model.  &#8216;Content&#8217; is defined as a lot more than  simply words on a webpage &#8211; it is anything that is consumed by a  visitor to your site.</p>
<p>Articles are content.  So are graphics,  video, audio and other forms of multimedia.  Software, scripts and  applications are content too.  And in this model, the content becomes a  driver that pulls prospects into your vortex, so you can work out  methods and systems to monetize them.</p>
<p><em>Lead generating</em> is the third  model, where the business focuses entirely upon getting targeted  prospects to raise their hands and identify themselves.  Variations on  the theme involve incentives handed out to get the right prospects to  respond, and follow up processes that enhance conversion of a &#8216;warm&#8217;  prospect into a red-hot customer.  These leads are worked, sold, rented  or brokered out for a profit.</p>
<p>Almost every kind of online infopreneuring model fits into one (or sometimes a combination) of these 3 basic models.</p>
<p><strong>Start Marketing</strong></p>
<p>Once  you have completed the previous steps, all that&#8217;s left is to take  massive action &#8211; and promote your information resource to as wide an  audience as possible.  Study marketing.  Plan promotions.  Run  advertising campaigns.</p>
<p>Your goal is to reach ideally qualified  prospects with a compelling message that convinces them to access your  content &#8211; and pay you for the privilege.</p>
<p>In a nutshell, these 5  steps are the essence to reaping rich profits as an Internet  infopreneur.  So, when are you going to begin?</p>

<p>When I first launched my infopreneur home study program, I was excited when a well-known marketer promised to review the course with a view to promoting it to his list.</p>
<p>For six weeks, I retained a cautious optimism &#8211; not really pinning anything on it happening, but dreaming about how nice it would be if it did.</p>
<p>But then, the dream was shattered.  Castles in the air came tumbling down.</p>
<p>It hurt &#8211; a bit.  </p>
<p>- &#8211; -</p>
<p>Now, let me shift scenes.</p>
<p>I have bought many expensive courses.  One is about business strategy.  Another is about creating and selling information products.  And one is a program teaching how to sell expensive products and services online.</p>
<p>I also ordered a home study version of <strong>Mark Victor Hansen&#8217;s &#8216;Book Marketing Mega 2007&#8242; </strong>- and paid less than 10% for it than these other courses.</p>
<p>All of it top quality content, yet one thing sticks out like a sore thumb.</p>
<p>The &#8216;business coaching&#8217; style of infopreneuring includes expensive content that is more &#8216;nuts and bolts&#8217; stuff.  It works.  It&#8217;s like an instruction manual.</p>
<p>But what I&#8217;m gaining from the &#8216;Book Marketing Mega&#8217; event goes deeper &#8211; far deeper.  It touches my heart.  It inspires me to <strong>aspire for great things</strong>.</p>
<p>This showcases the POWER of an infopreneur.  <em>(It also costs 10 times LESS!)</em></p>
<p>- &#8211; -</p>
<p>And now, let&#8217;s return to the present.</p>
<p>Remember, I&#8217;m hurting from the &#8216;rejection&#8217; of a &#8216;big name&#8217; marketer.</p>
<p>While listening to one of the lectures in Book Mega, I hear these words:</p>
<p><em>&#8220;Lance Armstrong was right.  It&#8217;s NOT about the bike.&#8221;</em></p>
<p>(It was a reference to the best-selling book by Lance Armstrong, 7 time winner of the gruelling &#8216;Tour de France&#8217; cycling challenge&#8230; read it if you haven&#8217;t &#8211; and the sequel)</p>
<p>He went on:</p>
<p><em>&#8220;It&#8217;s NOT about the book.</em></p>
<p><em>It&#8217;s NOT about the deal.</em></p>
<p><em>It&#8217;s NOT about the &#8216;Show me the money&#8217;.</em></p>
<p><em>It&#8217;s about&#8230;</em></p>
<p><strong>THE  MISSION</strong></p>
<p><em>Your Mission.&#8221;</em></p>
<p>The speaker was abused as a child.  Badly.  Yet, he says he is one of the most blessed people on earth.  He says God has been kind to him.</p>
<p>And he asks:</p>
<p><em>&#8220;What will you do with your blessings?&#8221;</em></p>
<p>Because that&#8217;s what is important.</p>
<p><strong>The Mission.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Your Blessings.</strong></p>
<p>Put them together, align them behind a worthy cause, and you are guaranteed to succeed.  In time.</p>

<p>In an instant, my mood changed &#8211; from &#8216;gloom and doom&#8217; to a completely opposite one of optimism, possibility and enthusiasm.</p>
<p>I still have my mission.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s NOT about the deal that didn&#8217;t happen.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s about <strong>taking all my BLESSINGS and making them work to achieve my MISSION.</strong></p>

<p>To prove you can reach out and touch lives.</p>
<p>To convince you it is a NOBLE calling.</p>
