This article does not articulate correctly what the bible says about tithing. The book of Malichi 3:10 is a rebuke to the priest who stole the tithe of the land and the tithe of the field. This rebuke began from Malichi chapter 1. No where in the bible is a tithe ever described as money. It was always food which was given by God to the Levites as their inheritance. Read Numbers 18 and leviticus 30 for the truth.

Wealth is certainly more than money or material possessions. I even consider my true friends as true wealth. I also believe in the importance of tithing.

Thank you for the clarification that money is indeed essential. I also believe that during the 1000 year reign that money will cease to exist because the buying and selling will change to giving and receiving.
