How to make a Scalloped Rectangle

Recycled Box Card

My girls often get Fruit Snacks as gifts and I always find the boxes too cute to simply throw in the recycle bin.

Since the Scallop Square die for the Big Shot is clear, you can move the box around on the die and cut out exactly the part that you want. I then mounted the scallop square onto a square card:

To cover the Assorted Fruit Flavored Snacks logo in the bottom corner, I simply added a greeting layered on a Scallop Circle.

What I like most about workshops!

I had a great time at Mary's workshop yesterday! What I like most about workshops is that it brings people together. Everyone knows the hostess, but not everyone knows each other. Helping each other with the stamping projects gives people a chance to talk and get to know each other while they discover a new (or rediscover an old) love for stamping.

I enjoy getting to know each guest as well, and helping them choose their style of stamping and pick the products they want is so fun!

I'm now booking workshops for April, May and June. Spring workshops are a lot of fun because it gives friends a chance to get together after a long, cold winter.

Easter Basket

I was playing with the Big Shot and came up with this adorable Easter Basket using the Basket & Blooms die. I used the colors Orchid Opulence, Certainly Celery and So Saffron for a Color Challenge on Create with Connie & Julie.

Scrapbooking and Stamping THIS Weekend!

Looking for something fun and FREE to do this weekend? Need time to work on your scrapbooking or stamping projects? It' Craft & Chat time!

Pack up your projects and come on over for a weekend of friends, fun, and productivity. We'll be meeting at New Hope Church (639 South 8th Street in Mount Horeb) where there is LOTS of table space for everyone. Come on Friday and leave your stuff overnight for Saturday or just come for a couple of hours whenever you can.

Friday, March 5 from 6-10pm bring a snack to share, a beverage of your choice and a friend!

Saturday, March 6 from 9am-3pm bring a friend and your favorite topping for the baked potato bar lunch (potatoes are provided)

If you have a project that you are struggling with, bring it along! There will be lots of crafty ladies there to give you advice and encouragement.
