I love the Olympics!  One of my fondest memories is the night that Nadia Comăneci won gold with her perfect 10's in gymnastics.  My other sister and I watched the Olympics that night with my parents unaware that my mom was in labor.  The very next morning my baby sister was born.  In fact, my mom waited almost too long to leave for the hospital - she almost delivered on the 405 in Southern California.

When I saw this stamp I just had to have it.  Chocolate Bunnies just scream Easter to me.  I think this will be adorable in a garden scene card as well as boys and girls cards.  Look for those kinds of samples soon too!  This is one of those "under ten dollar" stamps too.  I will show you how to use this stamp to make cute quick gift tags and simple Easter Cards in the coming weeks as well.  Wow!  I better get to stamping:)

Let me walk you through the steps to creating this card.  First I stamped the Chocolate Bunny (116980) in VersaMark ink (102283) and then embossed it in clear embossing powder (109130) on the large circle from the Circle Scallop #2 Bigz Die(113469) cut in Chocolate Chip (102128) cardstock.  Since I've been using the Sending Love DSP (117153) a lot, I had a little piece left to have him sitting on.  I wrapped that in Vanilla Tafetta ribbon.  I stamped "happy Easter" in Chocolate Chip (100908) on Close to Cocoa cardstock.  I punched the greeting with the Designer Label Punch (107590).  I took all those elements and layered them on Very Vanilla cardstock (101650).  Just to add "pop" I layered those on Chocolate Chip cardstock and the card itself which is in Close to Cocoa.

I'm still having fun with the With All My Heart(118334) stamp set.  I like these two stamps together.  I found that they are great just stamped in two colors layered on a single piece of cardstock.  This time I added bling with the Fire Circle Brad (109110) and a little pizzaz with the Ticket Corner punch(107214) on each of the layers.  I wanted to keep it simple, but I couldn't resist adding just a little of the Finial Press Embossing Folder (115963).  The color combination on this card is Razzleberry, Soft Suede and Whisper White.

Do you notice that there is a larger layer than the Fancy Flower (118073)?  How did I do that?  I punched the 1 1/4" circle (104403) five times!  Then I layered each circle under a petal of the flower.  Give it a try - you'll love the results.

We have a big snow storm here in the Northeast.  We're not getting much in CT, but the kids are home for the day so I'm escaping to stamp.

I saw a post on one of my favorite blogs and loved the colors Tara used.  I thought I'd try my hand at it and ended up with lots of dots!  This card will be featured in one of my classes in March.  Classes and details will be posted on Monday, February 16.
