We're happy to announce that our shirts are available at the spanking new great-looking online store fabrikade! The cool folks over there are currently offering a delicious 10% off all purchases to all new customers. Yes, that include our shirts. But, quantity is limited!

As with having our shirts available to the public via shops or web store, we are careful in our product placement so that our brand stays relevant. We felt it was a great collaboration as fabrikade is not just a web store out there in Singapore. They are a great bunch of people who appreciate good design, quality apparels, genuine intention to bring more talents in the industry and related trades together for fusion of ideas and collaboration. We are ushering the New Year with participation in The Black Market BBQ on 6th Jan 2008 at House, 8D Dempsey Road from 11am – 7pm. The Black Market is a non-profitable social activity created to allow like-minded individuals to gather, have fun and benefit from their creative efforts.

There will be two BBQ stations (tasty!), nifty selection of cult labels (spend!), a 12" vinyl record room (scratchy!), cheap booze (burps!), mobile massage (gasp!), kissing booth (smoochy!), affordable photographs (snappy!), Plushies (touchies!) and much much more!

In the flea market spirit, we will sell our quality & limited tees at attractive prices. Tagged at $29 normally, our tees will go for $26 for ONE tee, $25/each for TWO tees and $23/each for THREE tees & more for this event. All t-shirts used are Hanes 5250 Authentic Tagless T and they are all individually wrapped. Invoice will be given upon purchase. Return policy: Unwashed items can be returned within 14 days of invoice date.

There's has been a steady flow of sales since we started our own label, inky. Our appreciation and thanks go out to our friends, Shophaus and of cos our family members who have been very supportive in our cause. :)

Christmas comes once a year and we are happy to announce that all inky's t-shirts are subjected to 10% discount from NOW till 25th December 2007. The Aftermath: 8 Day Celebrity Car Boot Flea Market

One thing for is for sure, we had a great time at the event and all three of us were pretty tanned after that! Click on the photo album below to view our setup and other pics at the event.

We set off early at 7 oddish in the morning to setup our display. We found ourselves pretty early when we got there as there were not many vendors touched base yet. One of the staff there directed us to our 'designated' car park slot but we were told to move soon after as they kinda got mixed up with the arrangement. We soon realized that that spot would have been a better one. In the end, our spot was just slight right in front the entrance of The Boiler Room. Decent, the toilets are nearby. ;P

Soon, the rest of the participants begun to stream in and the buzz seems to heat up. Most of the vehicles at the car boot sale were small-sized. There were some cool cars out there too. There's two vintage Volkswagen Beetles, a couple of small vans and a white Lamborghini! Later, we understood that all the sale proceeds from the Lamborghini owner will go to the designated charity.

And this is a pretty cool bit... besides the expected Mediacorp celebrities attending the event, we met some unexpected stars too. We saw Maggie Q sporting a huge shade with a security personnel by her side! She was seen walking along the pavement outside The Boiler. Come later, we saw Rainee Yang with her entourage of personnels alighted from a white mini tour bus. Rainee was quickly ushered into the club before anyone can take a good look at her.

As the happenings started to heat up so does the weather. It was sunny hot by noon time but the crowd wasn't too bothered by it. At the course of the event, we gave out mini card info about ourselves and sold off a encouraging number of t-shirts. Considering it was our first participation in flea markets, the sales were good! We also received positive and encouraging comments about our designs and packaging from passerby and buyers alike. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves and doing that bit part for charity! We look forward to another such event and keep you guys in the loop of things!

Our dear friend Shawna (Shophaus) was interviewed by The New Paper and featured in a article published on Sunday (30/09/07), page 13. She is also our stockist for inky. The address can be found over HERE. ;D

inky is formed by Bernard G, a good friend of ours and two experienced multi-discipline designers in Nelson S + Jonathan K. In short, we design and sell quality tee-shirts. Singapore is where we roam.

Inky definition:
- exhibit artistic definition through inking concoction.

Our vision (kinda short one here ;P):
inky is existed as a platform for us to exercise our random thoughts and ideas. As such, we are not bounded by themes and all. But, we do believe that each design should have it's own character, it's identity and uniqueness. After all, what we wear does portray a simple low-down of who we are, what we wanna send a message across to people.

That all said (phew!), we are here to grow from a little seed to a possibly a huge one... so ride with us... enjoy your stay and come back often. :)

Who is behind inky?

What type of t-shirt do you use?
All t-shirts used are Hanes 5250 Authentic Tagless T. These are made in the USA and are 100% sweatshop-free. They are nice and soft. You won't feel like wearing a cheap thin tee and colors stay well.

Shoulder-to-shoulder tape
Preshrunk to minimize shrinkage

We provide home delivery island-wide in Singapore only. However, subjected to the day / time indicated below.
