Play Inotia 4?

I was looking around for Inotia 3 guides and it seems like the
best walk-through is pretty much less than 1/10 of the game, there are no
good guides out there, so I thought I'd make a short one that can guide
you through the whole game. Sorry to say, this is not a walk-through
(the game is really long), but it will definitely help you throughout
the game. This guide will be mostly about characters, skills, and
equipment.

Quick notes: it takes more than 100 hours to beat this game. If you
didn't complete a quest, don't worry, you get a second chance to
complete it. Watch out when you use dice--it changes stats for all three
of your current party and it's usually a loss. Save all composition
materials; you should have three large bags to have all of them saved
though. It's pain in the ass to level after level 60!

Your 3-Hero Party

You want to start out as a Rogue. Why? Rogue deals the most DPS to a single target. On top of that, in the middle of the game, you will get Laciel's Sword, which you cannot unequip for a while. If you get a Priest or Arch Mage with the sword... you get the point.

Your secondary character/mercenary should be Priest. Not only is the priest great for heals (Rogue has really low HP) but it has an incredible skill that increases chance of critical strike for your entire party, which means it goes for your Rogue as well.

Your tertiary character/mercenary should be Shadow Hunter. This character also has a skill that bolsters critical strike. While critical strike multiplies your damage, Shadow Hunter's skill "Weakness Exposed" multiplies that damage again for the entire party.

Quaternary character/mercenary should be Templar. This character is a necessity in certain situations, especially against bosses. Since Rogue has low HP, Templar is really useful as a tank. Templar should definitely initiate the fights. You may replace Shadow Hunter for Templar in certain situations.

Which Skills to Get

Please note that the acquiring skills do not have to be in order for upgrading the skills. Make sure to use as many Awakening Emblems until you get all the necessary skills.

Rogue
max: Hiding, Aggressiveness, Killer's Vibe, and Smoke Bomb, Assassination
rest into Deadly Blow

Priest
max: Prayer of Light, Darkness Blade, Reinforce Mana, and Light Affinity
put 1 point into: Guardian Angel's Blessing, Holy Arrow, and Holy Ground
spend rest of your skill points into Imbecility

Shadow Hunter
max out: Multi Shot, Weakness Exposed, Strength Arrow, and Arrow Shower
put rest into Fatal Aiming

Templar
max Touch of Light, Justice Strike, and Weapon Specialization
put 1 point into: Guardian Incarnate, and Barrier of Light
put rest of the skill points into Blade Enchantment

What Equipment to Get

Rogue
primary attribute should be increasing critical attack chance, secondary attribute for increasing critical damage, and tertiary attribute for increasing physical damage. Other attributes may include (in order of importance) dexterity, physical damage, HP steal, strength, vitality, evasion, and +HP. Double weapons is crucial for rogue. Great Thief's Leather Suit (body) is great for Rogue.

Priest
attributes for priest is just about being able to independently survive own his/her own. They may include evasion rate, vitality, +HP, HP regen, dexterity, defense, and resistance.

Shadow Hunter
similar gear as Rogue, but unlike Rogue, Shadow Hunter should equip with Crossbow instead of 2 weapons, +HP and HP steal matters less.

Templar
similar as Priest, equipped with two handed weapon with slowest attack speed--because, strangely, Prayer of Light is dependent on your weapon damage.

Rogue

You definitely want a faster attack speed weapon as your primary weapon, because your secondary weapon is used to attack based on chance of hit of your primary weapon--another bit of strange factor in Inotia 3. Here are other sample equips:

Secondary weapon
Head
Body
Feet
Necklace
Gloves

Templar

As mentioned in the guide, you should equip a double handed weapon for your templar, because the healing skill is based on your weapon's damage--another bit of strange factor in Inotia 3. Here are other sample equips for templar:

Head
Necklace

Priest(ess)

This is a pretty decent sample weapon for a priest. You can always add +mentality scrolls for these. I'm not too proud of my priest's equips. Here's a good sample of head armor.

Shadow Hunter/Huntress

Now, I have no idea what luck does, as it isn't explained even in the game's help menu, but my guess is that it has something to with dice. Sorry, this is only good sample equip I have to show you for Shadow Hunter.

Cheating Luck

I believe dice is actually geared (programmed) towards the worse, but there is a little workaround I like to use for dice. I always keep a useless mercenary (emblems) so that even when they get a negative stats (but positive stats for the heroes that you want and keep), it wouldn't hurt your good characters at all. To be more direct, if two of the heroes get positive stats change but the useless mercenary gets the manure in its face,
that's when you apply it--you cheat luck--and toss the mercenary away and make another mercenary for your next dice roll. I usually just ignore which stats are good for you but rather keep whenever I get positive outcome. This means if I get +3 overall for my rogue, maybe something similar to -10 for dex and +13 for mentality, I keep it because it's still a gain and I can just take that back the dex/men exchange by using more die.

Hero Organization, Leveling, and Emblems

Whenever a hero levels up, swap that hero within the party with the fourth hero, so that all of your heroes get equal levels (except for Lucio). I still have one of each mercenary emblems for priest, templar, and shadow hunter because I haven't unlocked all of their skills yet. I recommend keeping the mercenary emblems until you have gathered at least 10 awakening emblems and at least level 60, so that when you use a mercenary emblem, they wouldn't be behind in level and you can just use bunch of awakening emblems (hopefully you get all the right skills) and have a set hero. Please note that you need to be at a certain level to unlock more skills therefore spamming awakening emblem on one low level character is useless. I think the formula is something similar to:
 # of skills unlocked = level / 10 + 5
so basically you get 10 skills available at level 50, 11 skills available at 60, etc. Please note that this is not confirmed.

Final Notes

With this build, you can deal 2,000+ damage with Rogue's attacks alone by the time you get around level 40 with Laciel's Sword. By my experiments, that is far the highest DPS you can get in the game and no other character comes close to 2,000 damage, nonetheless even be able to reach 2,000 damage with such attack speed as Rogue (with Aggressiveness buff, + Smoke Bomb spamming Hiding) or in a short burst. Compared to all the other builds I've tried that are available online, this build truly beats them all, especially when it comes to bosses.
