ROCK CITY ANGELS - Self Titled (1989 South FL.) JOHNNY DEPP - BOBBY DURANGO

2023-03-27T10:58:00.001-07:00

Here is an awesome album from Rock City Angels. It features 11 rockin' tracks. It was released on New Renaissance Records, and was a limited release. This one is numbered 1369. This one is hard to find!

Rock City Angels were formed from the hit err of the punk band The Abusers. They once had Hollywood great Johnny Depp playing guitar for them, right before he landed the gig on 21 Jump Street.

These guys rocked South Florida, and built a huge following. They signed a major label deal, but like other hair bands, the grunge movent came along and took the wind out of their sails.

The eventually broke up, but reunited in 2021 to drop a new album.

JC Flow - Verb Noun Vibe (2010 Seattle, Wa) MR. E - XV - ADAM LAMBERT - TIFFANY WILSON

2023-01-10T02:57:00.000-08:00

As promised, here is the follow up to JC's debut, "My Life". Seattle's JC took some time off between the two albums. I believe "My Life" was his debut, and it was released in the late 90's, and Verb Noun Vibe is his second release, put out in 2010.

I'm not sure what he was doing all of those years he had between releases but, I think he was producing for his fellow PNW rap acts.

Back to this album. Verb Noun Vibe features 16 tracks. Tons of guest spots on this one too. Tiffany Wilson (DJ on 93.3 K.U.B.E. FM) , Roc'Phella, Rob Darkie, Lady Scribe, Adam Lambert, J. Fox, XV, Mr. E, Hersh, Mike Eddie, Katherine Romanoj, and J Reale.

Production was all JC Flow himself.

Don't sleep on this man. Check out this one or his debut, which was my last post.

If you would like to buy this or any other item you find here on this blog. Just send me an offer and I will make u a great deal!

JC FLOW - My Life (2003 Seattle, Wa) MC Jamal - Luminary B - K. Lint - Versastyle

2023-01-01T06:16:00.000-08:00

Here we go! I am starting off my "grand re-opening" I.R.M. blog, with a couple releases from the Seattle native, hip hop artist/singer/producer JC FLOW. Check out my next blog post to see another one of his albums!

JC has had a heavy presence in the Seattle hip hop scene since the mid 1990`s. He has produced/composed tracks for up an coming acts as well as some of the Northwest`s most seasoned veteran rappers. This was his debut album, he released it in 2003. It`s a 14 track gem that features guest spots fellow rappers MC Jamal, Luminary B, K. Lint, and VersaStyle.

JC took his time releasing a follow up album. In 2010 he finally dropped his sophomore album, titled 'Verb Noun Vibe', released July 17, 2010. You can check that out here.

My next blog post will be a review of "Verb Noun Vibe", check it out!

The two tracks are "Tornado of Souls" and "A Tout Le Monde". Both tracks were recorded on February 25th, 1995, live at the Olympic Auditorium. This is a hard to find treat that any metal fan needs.

SILAS BLAK - 1986 (2006 Seattle, WA - Silent Lambs Project - Blak Stax

2018-03-22T14:44:00.003-07:00

This item has been sold, and is currently unavailable.

Silas Blak is Seattle hip hop. Long before Macklemore wrote his Seattle anthem "The Town", you know the one where he says "14 Fathoms Deep, Do the Math, Tribal" praising these classic Seattle hip hop compilations, Silas was rappin` on them.

He then went on and made the lesser known, but great hip hop gem "Soul Liquor" with Silent Lamb Project. Next he made the topic of this post, "1986" a dope 7 track hip hop masterpiece. Later hooked up with the Blak Stax crew, and I believe he is currently doing a Cabin Games project.

Back to the topic of this blog post..... If you would like to own "1986", send me (Ken) an email/offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com. Don`t sleep this one is impossible to find, and will be gone quickly!

NORTHSIDE TRIBE - Childproof (1996 Dayton, OH) - ALTERNATIVE / GRUNGE - 104.7 WTUE

2018-03-22T10:45:00.003-07:00

This is one of the best cds I have found in awhile. As I type this, I am contemplating whether to keep this one for my personal collection, or to keep on with this post.

This band was from Dayton, Ohio. They seemed to have a pretty big following back in the mid nineties and got in good with 104.7 WTUE the local station in Dayton. That helped them get airplay, and a nice fan base.

They released this 10 song album in 1996 on Jam Packed Records. The tracklist shows 9 tracks, but it actually has hidden tracks, that make a total of 10 songs. They have a nice grunge sound to them, and although I am not musician and know NOTHING about music, I feel like they sound like a band that had what it takes to make it big. I don`t know why they never got bigger than they did.

I don`t think they ever released any other music, but I don`t know. I would love to hear more of them. I`m not sure what the guys are up to now.

If you have any info or music from them, please leave me a comment or email me.

If you would like to purchase this cd, send me (Ken) an email/offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com

MARCOS WITT - Poderoso (1993 San Antonio, TX) CCM - SPANISH

2018-03-22T03:54:00.000-07:00

Probably the most famous Christian musician who makes music in Spanish, Marcos is also the pastor of a large church and lives in Houston, TX.

He still releases music on his label, CanZion Productions, the same label he released this 9 song album on in 1993.

If you are interested in buying this cd, send me (Ken) an email/offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com

NEEMA - My Life For Sale (2006 Seattle, WA) UNEXPECTED ARRIVAL - GRYNCH - CRYTICAL

2018-03-21T17:08:00.000-07:00

This is a great cd from a cool dude, Neema of Unexpected Arrival. It was released in 2006, features 16 tracks, and some guest spots from some BIG name artists like Kurupt, Dylan, Wingo of Jagged Edge, Tru ID, Mense, and Twista. He also has locals Grynch, Crytical, and Real. Neema must have spent some dough on these guest spots, or he has some good connections in the game, which wouldn`t surprise me.

I met this guy at the mall in Tukwila, Washington. He was selling his cds, and I bought one, even though at that time I hated Seattle rap. I only bought one because he was a nice guy, and he seemed to be hustling hard trying to sell his music and get his name out. Turns out I was right. I would see dude everywhere, selling his shit, and promoting Unexpected Arrival.

Other than Nacho Picasso and Raz Simone, I don`t listen to Seattle rap, but when I`m hunting for a Nacho or Raz song I seem to run across Neema`s name in comments a lot. I say good for him!

If you would like to buy this one (it`s brand new and sealed), email me (Ken) an offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com

MARK ANTHONY - U Should Be Lovin` Me (1998 Seattle, WA) G FUNK - BEEZIE MACK - DEE LOVE - SQUEEK NUTTY BUG - B LEGIT

2018-03-21T16:27:00.001-07:00

Here is a super dope, rare gem from Seattle`s Mark Anthony. Mark is a great singer/rapper. He dropped this is 1998 on MAR records. It features help from a handful of other talented Seattle musicians, with rap from Konscious, and production from Beezie Mack, Dee Love, and J One. Also a cool track called "After Midnight", where Mark teams up with Vallejo, California`s one and only B Legit, from the C-L-I-C-K! I`m not sure what Mark has released. I know I once had a single from him called "End of the Week" that was released in 1995.

If you would like to purchase this one, send me (Ken) an email/offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com .

Don`t sleep on this one! Someone will scoop it up quick!

ENOCH - Ivory Persuasion (1989 El Toro, CA) Christian - Piano

2018-03-21T16:00:00.001-07:00

Self released in 1989 on cassette only. It features 10 Christian Gospel piano songs. I don`t know much if anything about Enoch, other than that I believe he is still active, and is from California. More specifically the El Toro area.

If you have any information you can share about Enoch and his music, please leave a comment!

If you would like to own this cassette, send me (Ken) an email/offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com

Don`t be shy, I am very easy to negotiate with!

MY SISTER JANE - Pain In The Middle (1992 Salt Lake City, UT) Folk ROCK

2018-03-21T15:08:00.001-07:00

Here`s a cool cd from the all female folk / rock group My Sister Jane. They self released it in 1992. It features 13 great tracks. I don`t know a whole lot about them, but it sounds like they had a pretty good following back in the day, and made a name for themselves in the Salt Lake music scene.

If you would like to own this cd, send me (Ken) an email/offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com
