      <title>Pat Onstad of Houston Dynamo</title>
      <description>Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Pat Onstad is a goalkeeper who plays for the Houston Dynamo. Onstad started his soccer career as a youth player with the West Point Grey, Marpole United, and Coquitlam Metro-Ford. He later led the University of British Colombia to three CIAU National Championships. After graduating, Onstad joined the Vancouver 86ers of the Canadian Soccer League in 1987. From 1988-89, he played for the Winnipeg Fury, also of the CSL. He moved to a third CSL team, the Toronto Blizzard, for 1990 and 1991. Onstad returned to the Fury in 1992, winning both the CSL Championship and the CSL Goalkeeper of the Year Award. Following a stint in Scotland with Dundee United, he moved to Major League Soccer in 2003 when he was signed by fellow Canadian Frank Yallop to the San Jose Earthquakes as a replacement for Joe Cannon. Onstad lead the Earthquakes to their second MLS Cup in three years and won the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Award. He had another excellent year in 2005, supporting the Earthquakes as they went undefeated at home and winning the MLS Supporters' Shield, and winning the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Award for a second time. He was named to the MLS Best XI in both 2003 and 2005.Along with the rest of his Earthquakes teammates, he moved to Houston for the 2006 season, where he tends goal to this day as one of the best keepers in the league. At the International level, Onstad is Canada's all-time leader in appearances by a goalkeeper with 57 caps.

At the senior level, he played for one the nation's strongest amateur teams, Halifax King of Donair, as well as a year with Dalhousie University in which he was named All-Canadian CIAU. Jazic began his professional career by joining NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac in 1997 after a successful try-out with the Croation club. After two years with Dragovoljac, he joined Croatian First League club Hajduk Split for the 1999-00 and 2000-01 seasons. He then played four seasons with Rapid Vienna in Austria and then two seasons with FC Kuban Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League.
