Andrew McDonald shoemakers were established in 1992. Started By Andrew in a small workshop in Sydney’s Surry Hills designing handcrafted shoes for men and women. His skill and artistry were quickly recognised and Andrew was soon to be awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 1996 to understudy master shoemakers, John Lobb of London and Paris and Paul Harnden. On his return to Sydney, Andrew opened his current shop/workshop in Paddington. founded on his craftsmanship and belief in excellence. The team comprises of a dedicated group of young shoemakers at the forefront of footwear design.

Dinosaur Designs

Dinosaur Designs create fantastic and unique resin jewellery and table ware – all in wonderfully bright and refreshing colour combinations. In 1986 the three young designers began experimenting with clear polyester resin, a material more commonly used in industrial applications, and one now synonymous with the Dinosaur Designs identity. Each prototype object is modelled three-dimensionally by hand, using a type of plasticine. The lack of perfectly straight lines and the unevenly finger-smoothed surface of any selected prototype is captured in a mould and then enhanced as each object is cast. They are then drilled, sanded and finished by hand in the Sydney studio. This is the sort of stuff Fred and Wilma Flintstone must have dreamt about.
