The full value of the contract for the airborne Stress Field Detection (SFD) exploration survey was $2.3 million USD.

The operational ability of the NXT team was clearly demonstrated when the company was able to mobilize a large contingent from the company to Bogata, clear its equipment and the aircraft through customs and receive all the appropriate military and regulatory approvals in Columbia, in just over one week before its first test flight on May 22.

The full SFD survey and report was completed and delivered to Pacific Rubiales within six weeks of signing the contract. Management stated that if the company were to receive future survey contracts in Colombia, it would be even quicker and more efficient now that it has received all the initial approvals from the military and regulatory bodies.

About the SFD® Survey System

A non-seismic airborne geophysical survey system for the oil & gas exploration industry. Data is accumulated by the aircraft as it flies in a grid pattern over the targeted survey area. SFD sensors mounted within the aircraft respond to variations in subsurface stress, all of which are captured as digitized data. This data is then interpreted to provide important indicators of geological subsurface structures and reservoir potential.

To read the full release please click here.

We Bid Farewell to Med BioGene

MED BIOGENE INC. (MBI:TSX-V)

Basic shares: 41 million

Fully diluted: 63 million

------------------------------------------------------------

On February 21, 2007, we announced Med BioGene as our latest client. At that time the company had a new CEO in Erinn Broshko and a focus on developing gene based diagnostics tools for colon cancer, lymphoma, leukemia and cardiovascular disease. In the middle of that year we helped the company raise over $3 million with the expectation to have a commercial partner by the end of that year or the first quarter of 2008.

However in the second half of 2008, management shifted the focus of its science and market strategy to a prognostic test for lung cancer in the belief that the product to market was faster and greater for this science versus the company’s original lymphoma diagnostic test.

As such, the new direction required and will require more money compared to the original plan but in management’s view the potential upside is much greater. At this time MBI is planning on going it alone to commercialize the science. It remains to be seen whether or not it will ultimately partner with an entity that has considerable resources and experience in this area.

This is a risk / reward scenario as during the 2007 and early 2008 period the stock traded in the range of $0.40 to $0.70 on the expectation that a partnering deal would be closed. However, with the critical change in business direction, a market that was growing less and less patient with emerging companies and compounded by gathering economic storm clouds the stock drifted to below a dime.

Much of the risk was assumed by the early investors and they deserve to be well rewarded, which will hopefully come with the commercial launch of MBI’s LungExpressDx™ product later this year. Between last summer and as of this writing the company had raised over $3.5 million in a very difficult market, not to mention during a time when it was virtually impossible for a junior non-cash flowing Canadian biotech company to bring in any capital at all.

We are counting a great deal on Erinn Broshko’s drive and the capabilities of his team to expedite the launch of LungExpressDX™ and to catch the attention of large biopharma companies and laboratories. As The Howard Group, members of the HG team, associated Insight Limited Partnerships and the directors as well as a host of other relationships hold a collective position well into the seven figures, we clearly have a vested interest in wishing MBI every success.

Anglo Swiss Finds 2,696 Grams Per Tonne Of Gold – SPECTACULAR!

Anglo Swiss Resources Inc.
(TSX-V: ASW) (OTCBB: ASWRF) (BERLIN: AMO)

Basic Shares 130.2 million

Fully Diluted 150 million

---------------------------------------------------

Today Anglo Swiss wowed the market with a news release summarizing its remaining assay results from its underground vein sampling program that form the basis for a pending industry compliant NI 43-101 resource report due in July.

The company has now completed its initial sampling program on its main level of the Kenville Gold Mine called Level 257 just outside of Nelson BC.

The highest grade reported from the 56 samples taken in a vein structure named the South Yule is an astounding 2,696 grams per tonne of gold or 78.63 ounces per ton. The assay results came from Assayers Canada with a countercheck assay completed by International Plasma labs that had a value of 2283 grams per tonne. These two labs independently checked all samples.

There is 95 metres of this vein structure exposed inside the mine from which the samples were taken. Out of the 56 samples, 15 assayed in the multi grams per tonne while the remaining 41 averaged 0.9 grams per tonne.

Anglo management is convinced that more of these high grade gold pockets will be discovered as the company starts to drill newly discovered vein structures in its summer drilling program expected to start within a month. The “super size” assay along with numerous multi-ounce gold assays found in Level 257 reconfirms why many years ago Kenville was a top gold producer and speaks to the potential of the property. Management feels the pending resource report will be the first in a series that will be driven by results from an extensive underground drilling program in combination with re-entering other levels of the old mine.

The historical average grade of ore found at Kenville was 10.9 grams per tonne of gold or 0.327 ounces.

See full news release here.............

NXT Talks About Progress In Colombia with Shareholders

NXT Energy Solutions Inc.
TSX-V : SFD / OTCBB : NSFDF / Frankfurt : EFW
Basic Shares - 30.6 Million
Fully Diluted - 42.7 Million
-------------------------------------

Last Thursday, NXT Energy Solutions had its quarterly conference call and updated investors on its operations in Colombia. Ken Rogers, CFO and Andy Steedman, VP Operations gave a quick overview on the company and the SFD technology, before providing details on the company’s progress on the $2.3 million (USD) survey currently underway in Colombia.

Colombian highlights discussed on the call:

- The $2.3 million (USD) SFD contract with Colombian subsidiary of Canadian based oil and gas company to survey approximately 10,000 km2 is nearly complete.
- The Colombia survey contract was executed on April 13th, flights have been completed, and the final reports are expected to be delivered by tomorrow, July 1st. Full payment to be received in early July.
- NXT’s client is the largest independent oil and gas company in Colombia.
- Revenue to be recognized in Q2
- Technology being well received by client, the Colombian government, and other exploration companies
- Colombia has the potential to become a significant source of revenue with several active companies and 700,000 km2 of survey potential, of which over 400,000 km2 will be up for bid in early 2010.
- Further Colombian contracts of a similar size could be completed in 6 weeks instead of the 2.5 months. A comparable seismic program would take 1.5 to 2 years and cost ten times as much.
- The ANH (Government body that oversees oil and gas exploration in Colombia) has approved SFD flights for companies to use toward their work commitments.
- NXT is now working on getting SFD approval for “bid packages” from the ANH meaning that companies bidding on unexplored blocks could commit in advance to SFD flights.

The impressive ability of NXT Energy Solutions to execute this survey in Colombia in a short period of time and well within budget, demonstrates the company now has the technology and the team to be a legitimate player in frontier exploration around the world.

Click here to watch and listen to the webcast

Anglo Swiss Has 178 Meter Strike Of Gold Averaging 72 Grams Per Tonne

Anglo Swiss Resources Inc.
(TSX-V: ASW) (OTCBB: ASWRF) (BERLIN: AMO)
Basic Shares 130.2 million
Fully Diluted 150 million
--------------------------------------------------

Strong assay samples continue to come in from Anglo Swiss' underground 257 level which are being used to complete a NI 43-101 resource report due in early July. This report will be a milestone achievement for the company. It will serve as a base document for additional gold resources to be added as the company continues to explore the six other levels at the Kenville Gold Mine just outside of Nelson British Columbia.

It is rare for an exploration company to post such rich gold results with 10 of the 32 samples assaying above 100 g/t. The average of the 32 samples taken from the North Yule Vein inside the lower Main Haulage 257 is 72.27 g/t. Many gold mines are in full production worldwide with average ore grades between two and five grams per tonne of gold.

Over the past couple of days there has been renewed market interest in the story with the stock in the $0.35 to $0.40 range compared to $0.20 in mid-June. The next key piece of news will be the resource report as it will begin to quantify what ASW is sitting on, which should start to grab additional market attention.

See full news release here........

Another piece of the Anglo Swiss puzzle was placed yesterday when the company announced that it can now assay its own samples on site.

All of Anglo's exploration samples are sent off to be assayed at two independent labs as well, International Plasma Laboratory and Assayers Canada. There are major advantages to having its own lab especially when it comes to turn around time. The independents take weeks while Anglo can process a sample in hours. All three assays can always be cross checked for confirmation of results.

Anglo can use this lab to ensure that the ore being fed into its own mill is the same going in as it is coming out. If Anglo knows that the ore being fed into the mill has 10 grams of gold per tonne going in it also knows what should be recovered after processing and is a second check to ensure full recovery of the precious metals.

The company will also use the in house lab during exploration as it can check and see if it is on track quickly.

On that note, the company is not yet in a position where it can begin processing gold as it needs to complete its mill before it can look at generating cash flow. It will need to raise capital to purchase the final pieces of equipment to make the mill operational.

See full news release here.........

NXT to Update Investors Tomorrow Via Conference Call

<img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; This core sample reflects how much potential value the minerals have by the length and quality of mineralization.

Imagine having the ability to walk down a drill hole and see gold and other metals for yourself. This is the best analogy for what it was like on our recent tour of the Kenville Gold Mine just outside of Nelson, British Columbia.

I was in awe throughout the three plus kilometers that we walked into the mountain looking at sophisticated webs of multiple vein structures in the walls, floor and ceiling that carry hundreds of meters of valuable minerals such as gold, silver, led, tungsten, molybdenum and zinc scattered throughout.

One can appreciate the difficulty in hitting one of these high grade veins with the drill bit from over 100 meters above ground once you see how the veins pinch and swell throughout the mine.

Anglo Swiss is currently waiting for assay results from the remaining 100 chip samples that were taken from the walls inside the mine. Tonnes of ore carrying valuable gold and other minerals had been taken out before mining halted in the early 1950’s.

The existing known structures at the main mine opening (adit) called the 257 level have recently been rehabilitated and is the current focus of an industry compliant NI 43-101 resource report that is near completion. This report, which is expected in Q3 is being authored by an independent geologist named Richard Munroe. This regulatory compliant report will highlight existing known workings plus a new vein discovery that has a strike length now proven over 300 meters (1000 feet) and is still open in all directions.

Level 257 is only one small portion of a six- level mine. The current vein discoveries are all open to depth.

Chip samples were independently collected and examined. They contained to date up to 210 grams of gold per tonne. To comply with the independent rules of sample collection, the chip samples were taken exactly every two meters throughout four areas of the adit in which some landed on high grade gold zones where others missed completely. All will be put together to give an average grade of gold for the report.

Geologist Richard Munroe came to take a look at what he heard was an exciting opportunity at the Kenville Gold Mine in August 2008. Although he planned to take a brief visit, he is still there. He is convinced that the known mineralization has a much larger source somewhere in the mountain and he is determined to find it.

Richard is a respected forensic geologist and is the perfect man to piece together all of the old known and unknown workings at Kenville. He is blending his new knowledge of the past with recent discoveries and an end goal of determining the future value of this giant project. Richard has worked on many large projects over his 31 years as a geologist spanning the globe from Mexico to Mongolia. His enthusiasm for this project is obvious and he is a perfect fit with Anglo management.

Between where our tour took place at level 257 and another opening up the mountain called level 275 lies a magical place aptly named the Jewelry Box. There are tonnes of rich ore that had been blasted sometime in or before the 1950’s that were never removed.

Old rusted tools are scattered about throughout this area left behind a half century ago from a job that was never completed. Gold was only $35 per ounce back then and this combined with a flooded mine, caused workers to pack up and leave.

In 2007 Anglo discovered a multiple vein structure known as the Eagle Vein during surface exploration drilling. The company now knows that this distinct structure runs for at least 700 meters and is open in three directions. While walking through the mine it was pointed out that modern methods of exploring this structure would start to take place approximately 200 meters from inside the adit. Anglo will blast its way from inside visually following the veins by using standard drifting techniques which means the blasters will simply follow the veins as they disappear into the mountain up, down, left or right.

We witnessed one area with an ore shute that had been flooded for over a half century. A flashlight provided a look into the abyss allowing us to see 50 feet down through crystal clear water. This alluded to the fact that ore had been taken up from a structure below many years ago. This is all yet to be rediscovered as the technology today will allow for this large area of high grade ore to be pumped dry and re-evaluated.

One of the most fascinating parts of the three and a half hours we were underground ended at a newly discovered place called Green River Stope. Our lights showed us something as we climbed a ladder that few geologists have seen in their entire careers. A bright blue trail of copper pouring down from an upper level that is yet to be explored. As Richard described in the Kenville Mine where there is copper there is gold and this level of concentration is pointing to a large source coming from above. These discoveries are keeping Richard glued to this project in hopes of finding the motherlode or source engine feeding this gold mine. This portion of the mine will be roped off and can be enjoyed on tours for many years to come.

According to management it would cost a new exploration company roughly $150 million and many years to recreate what Anglo already has in infrastructure on level 257 alone.

Anglo will use the drill bit to find new structures from both above and below ground and drift for the high grade rock ensuring that the rock being taken to the company’s new mill facility is carrying the highest grade gold and mineralization possible for processing.

Over the next 12 months Anglo is hoping to prove that it has at least one million ounces of gold measured within NI 43-101 guidelines.

While spending the day at Kenville we also toured the company’s mill facility which is to be up and running efficiently by early Q4. When fully operational, management tells us the mill will be capable of processing 200 tonnes per day at full capacity and there will be enough ore from inside the mine to feed this capacity for many years.

Something not to be forgotten is the fact that for every ounce of gold that is found in these quartz structures there is about two ounces of silver and also led, zinc and molybdenum improving the value of each tonne of ore.

Anglo is a very exciting and unique opportunity as it is close to proving a resource as well as producing its own gold which is now close to $1000 per ounce. The piece titled Stars Aligning for AeroMechanical Svcs was picked up by The Wall Street Journal website, amongst others.

The article gives a compelling summary of the AFIRS technology, it compares it to its competitor and it also touches on the green benefits of the AeroMechanical technology – “AFIRS will not only report how much fuel remains on board, but also how much they could have saved if they operated the aircraft differently," Richard Hayden, president of AeroMechanical is quoted saying.

The article also contains an impressive testimonial from Rob Giguere, the president and chief executive of one of AMA’s clients and one of Canada’s largest airlines – Skyservice.
AFIRS has given Skyservice, “improved confidence in all of our operational systems, communications and flight-planning processes, resulting in increased fuel savings and consequent reductions in emissions,” Mr. Giguere said.

Stats on the Wall Street Journal online

Average monthly visitors – 33.4 million
Average daily volume – 2.4 million
Average age – 50
College graduate/postgraduate study/degree – 85%

To read the full article, please click here.

Med BioGene Announces Closing of First Tranche of Private Placement and Appointment of New Board Member

MED BIOGENE INC. Speeds like this make the G650 the fastest non-military aircraft flying.

IWG President & CEO, David Fox, said: "Our team is pleased and proud to have its equipment standard on this ultra-long range and very high speed business jet. "

The announcement comes at an interesting time for the aerospace industry which, like most industries, is testing the improved general market conditions of late in an effort to find out if this is the foundation from which better markets will emerge.

Gulfstream itself announced earlier in the year, it was expecting a 20% production decline throughout the year.

But more recently, executives at General Dynamics the massive corporationthe Gulfstream parent, were quoted saying they were seeing a promising sign - a floor where demand was holding steady and not declining anymore.

Mr. Fox said most in the corporate jet industry believe, "we are skipping along on the bottom of the market right now ... and that people are hopeful that things will not get appreciably worse." "But it would be very premature to say we are out of the woods," he added.

One of the very bright spots in the corporate jet arena are the big-dollar VIP airliner conversions, or “Bizliner” jets that are built for royalty, heads of state, the super wealthy or large corporations.

IWG also has its high-tech water treatment systems on board these aircraft.

Mr. Fox said the VIP market is doing very well.

On the commercial jet side, the head of The International Air Transport Association (IATA) said in a May 27th newsrelease that the decline in worldwide passenger demand dramatically lessened in April.

The decline of 11.1% in passenger demand of March improved to a decline of just 3.1% in April, IATA reported.

However, Giovanni Bisignani, IATA's Director General and CEO, cautioned that it was too early to pop the champagne and declare passenger numbers were nearing the bottom and would soon be on the rise.

To view IWG's full news release, please click here.

Brainhunter Must Move Fast To Close a “Deal”

Brainhunter (TSX: BH)
Basic Shares Issued: 43.958 million

--------------------------------

An interesting news release hit the wires today as very specific timelines have been disclosed for Brainhunter to close a “transaction” under the agreement the company has with its senior lenders.

BH has signed extension letters on $31 million owed to senior lenders but that agreement is only good to September 30th of this year.

The company must deliver to the lenders by July 31st a finalized agreement for a “proposed transaction”.

The question becomes, does transaction mean 1) private equity capital injection 2) private equity buy-out 3) private equity strategic partnership or perhaps 4) a merger? Since this past February, Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance has been beating the private equity bushes in an attempt to find a partner or buyer for BH.

With the first and critical deadline a little under sixty days away, the fuse is short for Brainhunter and its advisors to pull a rabbit out of the hat. While we don’t know how far down the road the company is with any party or parties, it stands to reason that they haven’t been sitting around with deadlines fast approaching.

It’s no surprise that the stock has been in a coma for many months. The market has no clue how BH will look in the future and we all know that uncertainty is a four letter word. In short, the market has no idea what sort of value could be on the table if the company is forced to sell under current conditions.

To read the news release click here.

What’s been interesting in recent weeks is the amount of news that’s been coming out of BH regarding new business wins. The company has never been accused of raining news releases on the market.

In its Q2/F09 (March 31) release, management stated that BH has $327 million in backlog business booked to the end of F09 (September 30) and $100 million to the end of the current fiscal year. In addition, it talks about cost reductions to the tune of $4 million in F09, which will be evident in the fourth quarter.

These moves along with a host of others point to a company that’s been grooming itself for a “transaction” and is going to put its best dress and lipstick on before suitors come calling. We hope they show up at the door with roses and not the thorns.

Revenues for Q2/F09 were $52.7 million with a $2.8 million loss compared to a loss of $2.5 million on just over $60 million in sales for the same period last year.

To read the news release click here.

MBI Releases First Quarter Results

MED BIOGENE INC. (MBI:TSX-V)
Basic shares: 41 million
Fully diluted: 63 million

------------------------------------------------------------

Late Friday, MBI released its first quarter financial results, and also used the release to sum up the business developments for the quarter.

Highlights of the first quarter include the following:

· Berkeley Capital Corp. II placed a lead order into MBI’s non brokered private placement worth approximately $635,000. For this private placement, which is currently underway, MBI intends to raise between $1.3 million and $1.6 million. The money will be used to commercially launch LungExpressDx™ in the United States later this year.

· April 2009 saw MBI enter into an expanded license and development agreement with the University Health Network for the LungExpressDx™ product.

· April 2009 initiated an additional study to validate LungExpressDx™ in predicting a patient’s prognosis for survival. The study is expected to be completed in the third quarter 2009.

· In March 2009, Dave Matthews was appointed CFO

First quarter financial highlights:

· MBI incurred a loss of $551,530 ($0.01 per share) for the first quarter of 2009, compared to a loss of $492,947 ($0.02 per share) for the first quarter of 2008. The loss reflects MBI's increased commercialization and partnering efforts regarding LungExpress Dx(TM).

· Research and development expenses were $202,288 for the first quarter of 2009, compared to $168,725 for the comparable period a year earlier. Laboratory supplies expenses decreased significantly in the first quarter of 2008 compared to the first quarter of 2009 and were offset by an increase in fees paid to the University Health Network in respect of the collaborative development of LungExpressDx(TM). Contributions under a Canadian government IRAP grant relating to MBI's cardiovascular program were $11,420 for the first quarter of 2009, compared to $34,465 for the first quarter of 2008. Funding under this grant was fully drawn during the first quarter of 2009 and subsequent to quarter-end the funds relating to this program were collected.

· General and administrative expenses increased marginally to $327,531 during the first quarter of 2009, compared to $311,733 for the first quarter of 2008. Personnel costs and public company costs increased between the comparative quarters and were partly offset by lower communications and professional fees. Stock-based compensation expenses increased to $71,642 as a result of options issued during the first quarter of 2009 to certain members of management and the board of directors.

· At March 31, 2009, MBI had cash and equivalents and government receivables totaling $701,422 compared to $1,057,230 at December 31, 2008. The decrease relates to operational cash outflows during the quarter with no offsetting financing activities. Including the expected proceeds from the proposed financing mentioned above, MBI expects to have sufficient cash to fund its operations through the end of 2009.

To view the full release, please click here.

Analyst: AMA's Ruts & Smooth Road to Profits

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. And that is good news for AeroMechanical's fuel management program," Mr. Kavafian said, noting AMA's program can show airlines how to slash up to $200,000 in annual fuel bills per plane.

The fear of a return to $100 per barrel oil prices "will make airlines take pre-emptive action to shield themselves in case of another oil shock," he predicted.

Mr. Kavafian also wrote that AMA's recent partnership with Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), will see SNC take over some of AMA's research and development costs and that will help AMA on the expense side.

Given all of the above, Mr. Kavafian wrote that he still believes, "the company should be able to meet its near-term working capital requirements."

In AeroMechanical's Q1/F09 filing, working capital stood at $934 thousand, compared to $1.3 million in the same quarter last year.

He did, however, caution that if the pace of installations did not pick up or if existing customers do not sign on for its fuel-management program, "AeroMechanical may need to raise more capital at the latest by September 2009."

Despite that bold-lettered warning, he recommended investors continue to buy AMA stock in the current range because he expects the stock to hit $0.65 cents, a 160 % return from a $0.25 cent share price.

Why?
Because he doesn't believe the ruts will be so bad that AMA will not reach the 2010 goal of profitability.

AeroMechanical applies a standard comment to any analyst's report, noting AMA doesn't necessarily share the analyst's views.

To read Mr. Kavafian's full report, please click here.

Underground Samples Hold More Golden Promise For Anglo Swiss

Anglo Swiss Resources Inc.(TSX-V: ASW) (OTCBB: ASWRF) (BERLIN: AMO)

Basic Shares 130.2 million
Fully Diluted 150 million

---------------------------------------------------------------

There's a bit of buzzing at Anglo Swiss on the heels of new assay results from the underground sampling at the Kenville gold mine just outside of Nelson British Columbia. The assay results are saying that the company is on to something with reported results of up to 180.5 grams of gold per tonne (6.37 ounces) from another portion inside the mine adit known as the Yule Vein/Flat Stope.

Samples were taken from inside the mine where 85 meters of the Yule Vein was exposed. The Yule/Flat Stope is part of a four vein structure known as the Eagle Vein system which the company has been looking to define since it discovered it during its 2007-2008 exploration drilling.

The purpose of this underground exploration program is to re-establish a NI 43-101 compliant gold mineral resource on the main haulage level called the 257 level.

The Eagle Vein system has been established for at least 700 meters with ASW looking to add further definition to the size of the structure.

See full news release here........

Annual AMA Meeting: Opportunities & Challenges

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. The European rules are captured under a set of proposed regulations called Link 200+ and implementation requirements are only a couple of years away.

The corresponding activity in North America is called NextGen that has a different timetable but the same end result.

On the first issue, AMA’s bluebox and the fuel management system gives airline executives the ability to monitor each of their aircraft’s fuel burn in real time in an effort to trim fuel usage and thus minimize any taxes on that aircraft’s carbon emissions.

A constant electronic signal that identifies aircraft can also easily be built into an AMA bluebox. But it costs a lot to complete the research and development and garner international aviation regulatory approvals to put this next generation bluebox– formally called the afirs 228 – on an aircraft.

Neither AMA Chairman and CEO, Bill Tempany,or Mr. Hayden, told the annual meeting what the cash requirement is.

But both repeatedly said rather than dilute shares any further with a public financing, the focus is first and foremost on living within AMA’s budget and raising any extra funding by way of loan instruments and/or federal government grants.

AMA only has payable loans of $257 thousand as of the first quarter in 2009.

Mr. Cleland said he was especially encouraged on the financing front after spending a lot of time with some Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) executives.

Investors heard that SNC executives are spending about 30% of their time promoting AMA’s technology to the U.S. Air Force and other military concerns.

Cleland said that and the fact that funding negotiations are going on with SNC covers off one of four reasons why he is sticking with his AMA shareholdings.

“I’m either going down with this ship or taking off with it,” Mr. Cleland jokingly told investors. Mr. Cleland said he didn’t come to his conclusion to stick with AMA lightly. He told the annual meeting he asked AMA executives and AMA’s current and prospective clients a lot of probing questions before reaching his conclusion.

His listed three other reasons for gaining renewed confidence:

1. The appointment this year of Mr. Hayden, a former vice-president of Meggitt PLC, a multi-billion dollar, U.K.-based aviation firm, as AMA’s President;
2. The appointment of Jack Olcott, an aeronautical engineer and former head of the National Business Aviation Association as an active member of AMA’s Board of Directors;
3. The appointment of Matt Bradley, a former Canadian Air Force pilot and commercial pilot as AMA’s Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Cleland said the extraordinary skills of all three will be critical to bringing AMA to profitability.

The other topic investors repeatedly raised was China.

Mr. Hayden said while he doesn’t fully understand the politics of that vast and complex country, he is encouraged by the continuing interest Chinese aviation officials have in fulfilling AMA’s contract to put its blueboxes on board 515 aircraft there.

To date, only Shanghai Airlines has installed two blueboxes and Mr. Hayden said the airline is pleased with the technology’s performance.

“In my view, we are seeing enough legitimate activity (from China) to hang in there,” Mr. Hayden concluded.

Despite that assurance, another investor asked if it wasn’t time to stop spending any more money in China.

But Mr. Tempany said he, too, was encouraged by the steady progress that Michael Fang, AMA’s Vice President of China, is making there.

“I’m nowhere close to throwing the baby out with the bathwater,” Mr.Tempany said.

AMA also filed its first quarter results on SEDAR that highlights the accomplishments and challenges the company faces.

On the one hand, cash coming in the front door is steadily and dramatically rising, moving from $608 thousand in Q1/08 to stand at $2.8 million in Q1/09.

The all-important recurring revenue increased from $270 thousand in Q1/08 to $904 thousand in Q1/09.

All revenue, including recurring revenue, increased from $398 thousand in Q1/08 to $1.2 million in Q1/09.

Salaries and benefits dropped, not something you often see.

General and administration costs rose only slightly, research and development for the first quarter of ’09 was up sharply due to the next-generation bluebox but marketing costs for the quarter compared to last year’s quarter dropped by over one half.

The net loss also dropped sharply for the quarter. It stood at $1.2 million – nearly half of the $2 million net loss in the same quarter in 2008.

Unearned revenue – monies paid to AMA but not eligible under accounting rules to be brought into revenue yet – sharply increased in Q1/09 rising to $1.8 million from $812 thousand in the same quarter last year.

At the same time, though, working capital dropped to $934 thousand in Q1/09 from $1.3 million in Q1/08.

To view the full first quarter results please click here.

NXT Announces $2.3 Million Columbian Contract

NXT Energy Solutions Inc.
TSX-V : SFD / OTCBB : NSFDF / Frankfurt : EFW

Basic Shares - 30.6 Million
Fully Diluted - 42.7 Million

--------------------------------------------------

In what can be considered a huge step forward for NXT Energy, the company announced today that it has signed a survey contract with a Canadian-based international oil and gas company. What has been described by management as an excellent “beach head” opportunity, the Columbian contract is valued at $2.3 Million (USD) and will take NXT approximately 45 days to complete.

Management has publically acknowledged that this could be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the potential business opportunity in Columbia. Two weeks ago, Murray Christie NXT COO stated in the company’s conference call with investors that Columbia could be worth $10-$20 million (USD) to the company.

NXT also used today’s news release to announce an aircraft charter agreement with Air Partners Corp. A perfect fit for the company as it possesses a fleet of Cessna Citation 560’s, the aircraft of choice for NXT’s Stress Field Detection (SFD) technology. Click here to view Air Partners’ website.

All things considered, this announcement is significant as it represents the beginning of NXT’s full market launch and its first contract outside of its “Alpha client list”, which includes Pengrowth Energy Trust, Black Goose, Nexstar Energy, etc. According to NXT’s corporate presentation – Nov. 2008, the period between 2006 and 2008 was considered the company’s Alpha Client stage. During that time NXT didn’t actively market the SFD technology and used a select group of companies to build testimonials and success stories, while pulling in a profit.

To read the full release, please click here

IWG’s Second Quarter Results Show Impressive Results in Troubled Times

International Water-Guard (TSX-V: IWG)
Basic Shares: 39.3 million
Fully Diluted: 46.5 million
*********************************************

Despite the stormy economic clouds, International Water Guard (IWG) posted healthy returns at the close of its Fiscal 2009 second quarter ending March 31st.

Rounding all figures out, sales rose to $1.3 million, compared to $856 thousand for the same quarter in the previous year.

That is a 55% increase.

Net earnings for the second quarter were $39 thousand, compared to a net loss of $102 thousand in the prior year’s same quarter.

The six-month results were equally impressive.

Six-month sales to March 31st were $2.5 million, compared to $1.7 million for the same period last year.

Six-month net earnings were $99 thousand, compared to a loss of $183 thousand a year earlier. Net earnings would have been even higher, had the company not devoted so many resources to new product development and marketing.

IWG President and CEO, David Fox, said in the news release that while some major customers have reported a slow down, IWG is working in other “complimentary aviation markets,” to mitigate any negative impacts.

As a result, Mr. Fox concluded that, “we are maintaining our long term growth initiatives.”

The second quarter results seen another way, amounted to a $0.3 cents per share in net earnings for the first six months.

There was a net loss of $0.5 cents per share in the same period last year.Going from losses in net earnings per share to gains – in these troubled economic times – with money in the bank and no long term debt to speak of would normally translate into a higher share price than the May 12th close of $0.065 cents.

To view the full news release, please click here.

Pure Nickel Kicks Off (Fully Funded) 2009 Drill Program in MAN, Alaska

Pure Nickel (TSX: NIC)(OTCBB: PNCKF)

Basic Shares: 67.8 million

Fully Diluted: 75.5

-----------------------------------------------------

In a news release distributed Wednesday morning, Pure Nickel announced that recently the company and its project partner, Japan based ITOCHU Corporation finalized a $4.4 million (USD) budget for the MAN project in Alaska.

As per the release, the majority of the budget will be allocated to and in support of a 5,700 metre drill program. Initial drill targets have been selected on Alpha complex with further targets identified elsewhere on the project pending initial drilling results. At time of writing, hole depths are anticipated to range from 200 to 1,000 metres.

Camp mobilization and preparation is set to begin in mid May and the company will finish up in the latter part of September.

The release also makes mention of different technologies that will be utilized on the property over the next few months. They include the following:

- Geotech Ltd. will complete an airborne Z Axis Tipper Electromagnetic system (ZTEM) survey over much of its MAN property. To read more about the ZTEM technology, click here.
- Pure Nickel will use a Niton XRF Analyzer to provide real time analysis of metal contents in rock and in drill cores. Click here to learn more.
- Other technologies will include a walk magnetic survey and a ground electromagnetic (EM) survey along with extensive prospecting and mapping programs.

As of this writing the stock is trading in the $0.15 to $0.18 range, which is a little more than cash on hand of $7 million or $0.10/share. The money being spent on the high potential MAN property is ITOCHU’s commitment as part of the Joint Venture. Pure Nickel also receives a project fee for coordinating and managing the work program

To view the full release, please click here.

Brainhunter Gets Vocal About Recent Contract Wins

Brainhunter (TSX: BH)

Basic Shares Issued: 43.958 million

------------------------------------

Historically, Brainhunter management has been relatively quiet about closing new business but as of late there’s a new face emerging. Over the past week the company announced that it has signed:

· $26.5 million in new and renewal business with the Federal Government, and

· A two year $35 million per year contract through the Company’s Engineering Division with automatic one year extensions upon renewal.

In regards to the Federal Government deal, BH stated it covered more than 20 departments and with backlog and expected renewals, the tally exceeds $50 million in business. Brainhunter used both announcements to emphasize that its backlog and expected renewals to the end of Fiscal 2010 (Sept. 30) was approximately $327 million with $100 million of that in the current fiscal year.

As a professional staffing and services group, the Company counts government and large organizations in its client base. In Fiscal 2008, BH reported revenues of slightly more than $234 million and a net loss of $12.3 million.

Since the news the market has moved up slightly from the $0.10 range to the $0.15 to $0.20 range. As management has not provided guidance for Fiscal 2009, the market has no perspective on EBITDA, cash flow or earnings expectations. The Company is on the record as saying it would like to find a partner to either provide additional capital or preferably to buy Brainhunter.

Click here to view the news release

Picking Gold From A Gold Mine

Anglo Swiss Resources Inc.
(TSX-V: ASW) (OTCBB: ASWRF) (BERLIN: AMO)
Basic Shares 130.2 million
Fully Diluted 150 million

-------------------------------------------------------------

Over the past two years Anglo Swiss has been busy rehabilitating its primary mine adit called the 257 level at its Kenville property just outside of Nelson BC. This mine consists of a number of kilometers of new track laid into the gold and mineral filled mountain. Now that the mine has been brought back to commercial standards from its fifty plus year slumber the company has been intent on exploiting existing and new gold vein structures.

Aiming a drill bit from ground level into a vein structure that pinches and swells 200 metres below is not an easy task. This is one of the challenges of exploration drilling. Anglo now plans to do its drilling from underground in the mine adit where it can see the gold veins intersect through the tunnels.

To ensure that Anglo puts the drill into the most opportune places, the company has been taking wall chip samples inside the tunnels with gold content reaching as high as 210.5 grams per tonne or 7.43 ounces.

There is a massive amount of historical data being reviewed on the underground portion of Kenville including underground mapping, old drill hole logs and reports. The goal of the company is now to use this historical information along with new exploration to put together a technical report (NI 43-101) that is a compliant gold mineral resource estimate pinning a value on this portion of Kenville.

Drilling is planned to start in early May. The company plans to drill 12 thousand metres underground plus some ground level in-fill drilling to identify the un-mined resource below the 257 level.

See full news release here..........

NXT Weathered 2008 and a Positive Outlook for 2009

NXT Energy Solutions Inc.

TSX-V : SFD / OTCBB : NSFDF / Frankfurt : EFW
Basic Shares - 30.6 Million

Fully Diluted - 42.7 Million

--------------------------------------------------------------

NXT Energy Solutions released its 2008 year end financials and Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) last week, both of which are available on SEDAR. The MD&A outlines a busy year for NXT in 2008, in which many of its milestones were accomplished. It also provides some insight into what’s in store for shareholders for 2009. Highlights included:

· “…we can build on the commercial and technical successes realized from previous client surveys. These surveys provide invaluable case studies; client endorsements and industry recognition that are required to broaden the market adoption of our services.”

· “Furthermore in 2008, to develop a market focus for our business plan, we began assessing various international market opportunities for our services. (TSX:V-AMA)
Basic Shares: 82.5 million
Fully Diluted:88 million

*********************************************

Some clouds hanging over AeroMechanical were removed lately, Research Capital's aviation analyst Jacque Kavafian noted in a recent research report update.

And spring temperatures rose after AMA filed a relatively upbeat 2008 annual report and reported a new sales contract all in the same short period, he added.
While Mr. Kavafian lowered his previous estimates for installation of AMA blueboxes and of new orders going forward, he maintained his share target price of $0.65.

The clouds he cited disappeared after AMA reached a settlement with its former President Darryl Jacobs, who sued AMA for wrongful dismissal, and after Star Navigation tucked its corporate tail between its legs by abandoning its patent infringement suit against AMA. (It is interesting to note that following Star's retreat, AMA filed a motion to have Star repay AMA nearly US$750,000 in legal fees.)
"The negatives weighing on the stock are largely gone and full efforts are being made to make the company cash-flow positive in F2010 ..." Mr. Kavafian wrote.

In the annual report, the analyst noted that AMA had $800 thousand in its cash coffers and $2.8 million in receivables and inventory - inventory that gets converted to cash as soon as it is used.
That, its backlog of sales orders and the fact it has almost no debt inspired Mr. Kavafian to conclude that AMA, "will be able to meet its near-term working capital requirements..."
"In addition, (AMA's) agreement with Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) to manufacture and market AMA's (bluebox technology) under license to the U.S. military market should also help through license fees and royalties and reduced research and development burden as some of the responsibility will shift to SNC," Mr. Kavafian added.
He noted AMA had 184 of its blueboxes installed in aircraft around the world at the end of 2008. But he reduced that number by 33 to account for the three airline customers who bit bullets in these tough markets and went out of business.

That left AMA with 227 aircraft under contract and 151 blueboxes actually installed on Dec. 31st, 2008.
"We will be watching the flow of orders and if the pace picks up with the backlog growing to over 300 units, we may have to increase our valuation (beyond $0.65 cents per share,)" Mr. Kavafian wrote.

In better economic times, Mr. Kavafian estimated that AMA would install 135 blueboxes in F2009 and 377 units in F2010. But given the tough economic times, he lowered his previous estimates to 75 units in F2009 and 88 units in F2010.
To read the full report, please click here.

LMS Software Draws the Attention of ABC in Flint, Michigan

LMS Medical Systems (LMZ - TSX)
Shares outstanding: 25.8m
Fully Diluted: 30.7 million

-------------------------------------------------------------

LMS’ CALM Shoulder Screen™ technology was the focus of a two minute health feature on ABC12 - WJRT-TV Mid Michigan.
