Lipstick Collection on NYX Round, look and enjoy

As I said before, I am a huge NYX Cosmetics fan and one of my favorite products from the brand are their ROUND LIPSTICKS. The round lipsticks are supposed to be the brand's "all year round" product which comes in a variety of shades. I think they currently have 144 shades to choose from.

Last year I depotted 12 of my Nyx lippies so I could bring them along on my Singapore trip without them having to take up so much space in my makeup travel kit. I got these stackable container pots from a friend and decided to use them to house my depotted lippies.

The above photo is my collection of nudes. I have more nude lippies but these are the ones in the stackable container. My favorites are Pumpkin Pie & Indian Pink.
Pumpkin Pie is my favorite "go-to" nude lipstick since last year. It's like a "my-lips-but-better" kind of lipstick and even my kid sister loves it.
Indian Pink is a peachy pink color that's just absolutely lovely. I think any skin tone can pull off wearing Indian Pink. Whenever I use this lippie, I get a lot of questions about it. *wink*
I must admit that I can't seem to use Marrakesh Pink alone. I have to layer a darker lip color on top to avoid looking too washed out. That's a little sad though since it's such a lovely pale pink color. Another shade I have problem with at times is Iris. I find it a little bit too sheer and I have to pile on quite a few layers to get a nice color payoff. .

The second stack houses my pinks and reds. I have three pinks & three reds. These are some of my favorites in my collection of pink & red lipstick. I was really having second thought about melting them but I really wanted to take them along with me so I had to just close my eyes and go ahead with depotting them!

If I had to choose, I'd say that Louisiana & Fire are my favorites in the bunch. Louisiana is a bright fuchsia pink that's pretty for the summer but personally I wear it any time of the year. Fire is another bright shade. It reminds of bright red apples I kept drawing as a kid. It definitely calls attention.
Unlike my nude lippies collection, I don't have any problems with any of these lippies in terms of color payoff and application.

AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has been named a Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau, bestowed by the Netherlands for his services to football and charity work.

Alphonsus Staelinga, the Dutch ambassador to Italy, presented Seedorf, who is born in Suriname, with the honor in a ceremony on Thursday that was also attended by Milan president and Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi (photo AP).

"If he is the coach of AC Milan, he can bring his brother and cousin immediately, we don't mind a little nepotism,” joked Silvio Berlusconi.

Seedorf is the only player to have won the Champions League with three different clubs—Ajax in 1995, Real Madrid in 1998 and Milan in 2003 and 2007.

In 2005, Seedorf founded the "Champions for Children foundation". He also owns an Italian football club in the serie C.

Asked if he might retire at the end of this season, the 35-year-old Seedorf declined, saying he remains motivated and fit.

Although Seedorf is a hero in Italy he is not very popular in the Netherlands. Although he is regarded as one of the most successful Dutch football players.

The reason why is not very popular is because of his role in a conflict in the Dutch national team during the European football championship in 1996, which eventually led to a dramatic performance in the tournament.

The media saw it as conflict between the black (Surinamese) and the white Dutch players, but it actually was a power struggle over salary within in their club team Ajax.

Queen's Day Amsterdam 2014

Some pictures of our Queen's Day. Yesterday was Queen's Day - Koninginnedag in Dutch - in Amsterdam, wich means walking, eating, and buying things from people in the streets. Due to weather the city wasn't as crowded as last year, and it showed.

Because Queen's Day is a national event it's kind of custom that you wear something orange. The colour orange is the national colour of the Netherlands.

This picture was taken at the Weteringsschans, and yes we went into the crowd. Normally you would feel like walking in a pinball machine, but this year it was easy to get through.

Music at the Museumplein. The place to be a on Queen's Day. A lot of life music and fast food. In the background you see the Dutch national museum (or Rijksmuseum).

We liked the auto rickshaw, but when we looked at the photo later we saw someone say ..

Het Stedelijk Museum or the city museum. But it's closed, and it is being renovated and expanded.

I should say happy anniversary queen Beatrix, but April 30th (Queen's Day) was the birthday of her mother. Bea decided not to change it.

Amsteldijk. In the white house on the corner I had my Transcendental Meditation course when I was 15. I took the course long time ago when people were financially nice to each other. For the record, the TM organisation has left this building long time ago. The house is on the other side of the Amstel Hotel.

Abiola Wabara was already well know as a basketball player for the Italian national team, but now she is also making name for herself as a visual artist.

Abiola Wabara was born October 23rd 1981 to Nigerian parents in Parma Italy. As a child she always had a great passion for art, going to school in Italy art classes were always part of the curriculum, and she always demonstrated great fervor, and a natural talent for the subject.

Abiola attended Baylor University on a full basketball scholarship where she received a bachelor's degree in Spanish, Spanish literature and Culture. After graduating, she started her career as a professional basketball player in Israel, where she played for 3 seasons, then moved to Ibiza Spain and currently playing in Milan Italy. While in Israel she attended the art workshop of famous Israeli artist Eilat Tzin, and developed her skills further.

Abiola likes to focus her work on the diverse aspects of Black culture and tries to capture the beauty of her people and her culture in the works of Black art she creates. Abiola’s artwork is exciting, bold and expressive. Not only is she fascinated by the human form, but emotions, body language and especially eye expressions. Her style, sense of color is eye catching and being noticed by many.

Abiola work was noticed in Ibiza where she was featured on the local newspaper, Nigeria, where she was published in local magazine “Goldmine” and also was exposed in one of the most prestigious art galleries in Milan Italy “il Borgo”. BBC Online's coverage of the EU's 50th anniversary has been absolutely extraordinary. They have missed a great opportunity to deal with EU issues seriously and instead have presented the punters with pathetic, whimsical, biased nonsense.

Is the EU attempting to pull off some sort of cunning triangulation strategy on smoking?

1) Yesterday EU Health Commissioner Markos Kyprianou announced that he wanted to create a "smoke free Europe". He called for smoking in public places to be outlawed across the continent within 2 years.
2) Last week the British Government tells parliament that the EU spent nearly €1 billion on tobacco subsidies in 2006. EU subsidised farmers grew enough tobacco to produce over 7 million fags.
Perhaps - given that over half of the EU's fags were dumped on developing countries - the EU (like BAT) has moved on and is now happy poisoning non-Europeans instead.
