Just a little update. I decided it be fun to show the process as I get different stages.
Need to add their armor but I'm posting this to get some ideas about the character from the Author Micheal R. Hicks. These are the two main characters from In Her Name. Very awesome book which you can find here.

Here a sneak peak at the art direction of my next book using Gimp + GPS. I kept this black and white so I can work more on what he will look like (not to scary but still intimidating) and not what colors I will use. Of course now until I publish the book I may change it. But this is going in the direction I wanted. This is the final boss so to speak near the end of the book. How will a 10 year old lion humanoid named Leo stop this? Well you will have to read to see.

Side Note: With this I have about 60% of the idea finished now I just need to get on the writing side. I think when that is near completion I will flip back over and do a video tutorial on how I painted the cover.
