Stop thinking trouble if you want to attract its opposite; stop thinking poverty if you wish to attract plenty. Refuse to have anything to do with the things you fear, the things you do not want.

The men who have climbed up in the world have seen themselves climbing, have pictured themselves actually in the position they longed to be in. They have climbed up mentally first. They have kept a vision of themselves as ever climbing to higher and higher things. They have continually affirmed their ability to climb, to grow up to their ideal. If we ever hope to make our dreams come true, we must do as they did; we must actually live in the conscious realization of our ideal. We rise with our vision. All elevation, all progress, is first mental. It is based on faith in a visualized ideal. George Washington concentrated upon a vision of liberty and a grand democracy which would be a model for the whole world, and he never ceased to struggle until the vision became a reality. Andrew Carnegie became the great iron master because he gravitated towards his vision; because of his struggles to realize that dominant vision. John Wanamaker is what he is because he concentrated upon his vision, by always reaching out toward it, always striving to match with reality his dream of a mammoth business.

Every man becomes like his ideal, realizes the vision which dominates his life, and towards which he constantly struggles. No matter how discouraging your present outlook, how apparently unpromising your future, cling to your desire and you will realize it. Picture the ideal conditions, visualize the success, which you long to attain; imagine yourself already in the position you are ambitious to reach. Do not acknowledge limitations, do not allow any other suggestion to lodge in your mind than the success you long for, the conditions you aspire to. Picture your desires as actually realized, and hold fast to your vision with all the tenacity you can muster. This is the way out of your difficulties; this is the way to open the door ahead of you to the place higher up, to better and brighter conditions. The constant nursing, cultivating the desire, the ambition, keeping our heart’s longings and soul yearnings alive, wholesome and healthy by active endeavor, is the only way in which we can match our dreams with their realities.

The way to do this is to follow our inspiration, what our soul longs to do. You are always gravitating toward the vision you hold in mind. You will never make headway in any other direction than toward your dominant thought, your dominant desire, and your dominant motive. Visualization will sometime be found to be one of the great secrets of character building and achievement. Effort follows visualization as achievement follows effort. Jesus achieved His Christ-hood. It was not thrust upon Him. He achieved it just as we must achieve our ideal if we ever attain it. The Savior was not born a Christ. This was a result of His efforts and His work to realize His vision.

.Our inspiration for success today is mental attitude."As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Do you recall this quote of the Holy Bible? This is a statement of fact and fiction because every man is what he is, by reason of what he has thought. The place of anyone is mostly a function of his mental attitude. Mental attitude is the result of the flow of one's thoughts, ideas,feelings, and beliefs. You are constantly at work building up a Mental Attitude, which is not only making your character but which is also having its influence upon the outside world, both in the direction of your effect upon other people, as well as your quality of attracting toward yourself that which is in harmony with the prevailing mental state held by you. Is it not most important, then, that this building should be done with the best possible materials—according to the best plan—with the best tools?

One simple way of saying this is that you are dealing with a unversal law which makes you become just what you think. By law, we refer to principles. For instance, it is a law that if you throw up a stone, it will surely fall down. There is nothing you can do to stop that. An aircraft, once set in motion, does not fall down because its obeying a law which superceeds the law of gravity. Mental attitude is should be positive to pass for the right inspiration for success in all areas of life. "A positive Mental Attitude Wins Financial Success." Before going any further, let us define the word "Positive" and its opposite, "Negative," and then see how the former wins success and the latter attracts failure. In the sense in which I use the terms, "Positive" means Confident Expectation, Self-Confidence, Courage, Initiative, Energy, Optimism, Expectation of Good, not Evil— of Wealth, not Poverty—Belief in Oneself and in the LAW, etc.

It is important to realise that a man's mental attitude acts as a magnet which attracts to him the things ,objects, circumstances, and people in harmony with that mental attitude he has. If we think success well enough in whatever we do, then it makes us develope success mentality which is the right attitude for success in any endeavour.

Sweep out from the chambers of your mind all these miserable negative thoughts like "I can't," "That's just my luck," "I knew I'd do it," "Poor me," etc., and then fill up the mind with the positive, invigorating, helpful, forceful, compelling ideals of Success, Confidence, and expectation of that which you desire; and just as the steel filings fly to the attraction of the magnet, so will that which you need fly to you in response to this great natural principle of mental action—the Law of Attraction. Begin this very moment and build up a new ideal—that of Financial Success—see it mentally— expect it—demand it! This is the way to create it in your Mental Attitude. Fix your mind firmly upon anything, good or bad in the world, and you attract it to you or are attracted to it in obedience to the LAW. You attract to you the things you expect, think about and hold in your Mental Attitude. This is no superstitious idea, but a firmly established, scientific, psychological fact. Therefore, start by getting rid of any negative thoughts like "I can't," "That's just my luck," "Poor me," " I knew I'd so it,". Begin to fill up your mind with positive life transforming, helpful, and compelling ideals of success. It is only by doing this that the right inspiration for success will form part of our daily living.

Having Faith is a Prescondition for Success

There are many times in your life when you might be afraid. You might be afraid of loosing your job, or of not having a job, or becoming sick. You might be afraid you won't be able to pay your bills. You might be afraid for your children, their health and well being. You know Job, in the Bible was a lot like that. Job was a good man who loved the Lord with all his heart.

When we fear and doubt God and his Word, this opens the door for things to happen to us. This gives the enemy permission to attack us, because we doubted God's promises and walked in unbelief. God can not work in our doubt and unbelief. God only works through our faith.

In the Gospel of Mark, the ruler of the synagogue, Jairus, asked Jesus to heal his daughter. On the way they found out that she had already died. The bible says in Mark 5:35-36: While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue's house who said, Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be afraid; only believe.

The opportunity to doubt arose in Jairus, but Jesus was already with him, he was right beside him! Jesus said to him, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”
Then the word of God goes on to say in Mark 5:37-42: And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly. When He came in, He said to them, "Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.'' And they laughed Him to scorn. But when He had put them all out, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, "Little girl, I say to you, arise.'' Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.
After Jesus told Jairus to not doubt, He only took with Him, Peter, James and John. Then when he got to the house, Jesus put out everyone but the parents and the disciples. Why? He was getting rid of all the doubt and unbelief in the house, so that He could complete His work. Even Jesus could not work in an atmosphere of unbelief!
God cannot move in your life if you are in doubt and unbelief in your situation! But if you will stand on His word in faith you will overcome any situation!

What is faith?

It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead, we stand in faith upon its arrival.

The Bible says without Faith it is impossible to please God.
You please God with your faith, your dependence on Him. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is who He says He is and that He is a rewarder to those who sincerely seek Him......Hebrews 11:6

When you accept Jesus as your Savior, you take the biggest step of faith in your life. When you Believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived and died on the cross and rose from the dead in three days. No you were not there physically to see it, you just accept it as truth because God's word says it happened and you know in your heart that God is not a liar and by faith you accept it.
You believed unto Salvation....Romans 10:17,10

This kind of faith we need to walk in every day. We need to study God's Word to build up our faith and keep us strong.

Don’t be afraid to step out on faith and pursue things you desire to accomplish in life. Pray about it and ask God for guidance and direction. Make your requests know to God. Ask that His will be done in your life and in those things you desire to step out on faith to pursue. If God be for us, who can be against us? --have faith in your idea and pray that the Lord will help you to put it in motion and give you the wisdom to accomplish it. Forget the phrase “I Can’t”, remember scripture says, "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us". (Philippians 4:13) and also in the same book chapter 4:19 it says, "God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus".

Are you in any business? What amount of returns are you expecting from that business of yours? Do you actually believe you can make a head way in that choosing business of yours? Ponder over these questions a little bit, but I would like you to keep the answers to yourself.

No matter the answers you may give to the above questions it may as well fall short of one thing which may be a missing link to your answers. Know what that thing is? What you have within you,which is either success or failure!

All physical manifestation of success are but a function of your inner thought activity. In other words your business endeavours will either have to fail or succeed within you first. All other things will be formalities. You can easily prove this for yourslft. If you are in a business say bottled water business and you do not seem to be making a headway, look carefully into your own thought and see what you can find.You will find that you already have an established belief that business is not good. You do not feel like doing anything much about taking the business to the next level. You are not likely to find within you any sense of success. You are not expecting any customers.

Now suppose someone comes along and says to you: "What is the matter? Why are you not doing more business?" Your answer would be: "People don't seem to want what I have to sell" Or perhaps something like this: I am too old to compete with modern methods." Or even:"Well, times are hard." All this is negative thought or failure mindset.

Now this man to whom you are talking does not believe a word you have said. He knows that success is in mind and not what you do, and he says: "The whole thing is in your own mind; the trouble with you is that you don't feel that you are a success."

Perhaps you have heard something of this before; if so you will ask him what he means, or perhaps you think he is talking about something peculiar; but we are taking it for granted that you are so anxious to do something to make your business a success that you will be willing to try anything, so you ask him to explain. He begins by telling you all is Mind; nothing moves but Mind moves it and that you are a center in this Mind. You do not understand how this relates in any way to your business, but he goes on to say that your thought decides whether your business shall be a success or a failure. Here you become indignant, and ask if he means to tell you that you want to fail. Of course he knows you do not, and he explains that while you wish success, you are thinking failure, fearing it, and that there is a law that makes your thought, never asking questions but at once sets about its fulfillment. You become interested and ask how this can be; in return you are asked this question: "How did anything come into being?" This sets you to thinking and of course you realize that there was a time when nothing existed but life; so whatever has come into being must have come from that life, for what we see must come from that which we do not see. You have to admit that. Then what you do not see must be the Cause of everything; and you must also admit that; and that Cause works by Law; this you are compelled to admit. Then this Law, being everywhere, must be in you; this is harder for you to see; but after much thought you begin to realize that it is so. Then you, without knowing where your thought processes were leading you, have conceded that you, yourself, are the reason for what happens in your life, be it success or failure.

Now what are you going to do about it? This is what you must do. For every time that you have thought failure you are going to replace it with strong thoughts of success. You are going to speak positive words into your business. You are going daily to see nothing but success and to know that it is Law that you are using, and that is that it is what is applicable at any time and anywhere. If you have got it in your mind, it must follow outwardly.

Always remember this. Life is from within outward, and never from without inward. You are the center of power in your own life.

Be sure and not take on false suggestion. The world is full of calamity howlers; turn from them, every one, no matter how great you think they may be; you haven't the time to waste over anything that is negative. You are a success, and you are giving to the Law, every day, just what you want done. And the Law is always working for you. All fear has gone and you know that there is but One Power in all the Universe. Happy is the man who knows this, the greatest of all Truths.

The whole thing resolves itself into our mental ability to control our thought. The man who can do this, can have what he wants, can do what he wishes, and becomes what he wills. Whatsoever you desire, believe you have it and you will surely have it.
