Treat today like it was tomorrow. Think about what you want for tomorrow and manifest it today. No excuses... just live your dream now! ~ Colette Brown

It is hard to put a lifetime of experience into so little words. There are so many angles to look at it from and most lessons come from the past. I want to look at what lessons could come from the future, a future we can all aspire to today.

There is future reality where all ages of life are valued. A baby is never ill-treated by uncaring adults. A young child is never bullied or insulted by his friends. A teenager doesn't consider taking their life because there is no hope for a job or career. No child is denied a voice and will never be coerced or frightened into any action.

A mother never feels a failure because she is inexperienced. No adult feels the need to be defined by fashion or wealth. No woman is marginalised because she is a woman. No man feels the need to show aggression as a badge of honour. No person is stigmatised by loving someone who shares their gender. No person is defined by colour or race.

In this caring future reality, religion doesn't ...
Read More of Today's Brilliance >>

Our greatest fears can become our greatest accomplishments. ~ Tara Taylor

That we are all extremely intuitive and when one understands the true function of the ego is when one is able to deepen one's connection with their intuition.

We receive a minimum of 500 intuitive messages a day, we have just forgotten how to see, hear, feel or know that intuitive message because we have numbed our senses over the years. We are constantly distracted by outside influences and because of that we ignore the messages coming from within and/or we allow our unbalanced ego to discount our intuitive messages.

I have learned that if we embrace the ego and start to be thankful for the ego's role in our lives, we stop fighting ourselves and we learn what our ego sounds like and the language it uses. The ego was created to give choice/free will and perspective; our egos just want to be acknowledged. The ego does not care if you follow its guidance; the ego just wants to be heard so that it has done its job because your ego's role is to help you achieve greatness...
Read More of Today's Brilliance >>

I may be blind, I may be crippled; but with Yahweh as my Guide, I'm certainly not disabled--I'm ultra-abled, for "whoso trusteth in [Yahweh], happy is he"! (Proverbs 16:20, ASV) ~ Dr. Shirley Cheng

What's true wealth? Is it gold that glitters under the sun? Or is it wealth that no one and nothing, not even death, can take away from you?

Let's consider material wealth for a moment. We can have everything we want in life: huge mansions, fancy cars, ever-expanding wardrobes, and a sailboat or two to boot--but should our lives be measured by monetary values? Is the worth of our lives so calculable that we can consider ourselves wealthy simply by adding up our material possessions? Even if we feel wealthy by owning great possessions, what good would such wealth do us when natural calamities take them away from us? And when we die, could we take our wealth to our graves? Thus, our lives shouldn't "consist of the abundance of the things [we possess]." (Luke 12:15, WEB)

What's true wealth then? Jesus our Messiah and future King once told a parable that answered this question:

The ground of a certain rich man brought forth abundantly. He reasoned within himself,...
Read More of Today's Brilliance >>

Seek to find beauty in everything you look at and you will find it. Invite beauty into your life and your life becomes more beautiful. ~ Phil Bolsta

Your every thought, word, and action spring from either love or fear. The nature of your choices determines the quality of your life.

Love is the whisper of the Divine, ceaselessly calling creation back toward the Creator. Fear expresses itself as anger, intimidation, insecurity, despair, self-loathing, or any other emotion or behavior not grounded in love.

When you choose love, you are coming from your heart and declaring that you trust God to handle the consequences. When you choose fear, you are coming from your head and assuming that you can manage the situation better than God can.

Choose love, and you are being proactive; you are making things happen, living a life of choice, and getting better. Choose fear, and you are being reactive; you are letting things happen, living a life of chance, and getting bitter.

Choose love and you share your authentic self with the world. Choose fear and you conceal your true identity from others and, worse yet, ...
Read More of Today's Brilliance >>
