Hi!! Made the above cards for digidoodleshopsbest pink and blue challenge.The first card is made mostly from stuff I received from Asha and Rachana and Sasya..In Ash's candy I won these AMAZING papers..soooo pretty and lots of them..the beautiful embossed paper is from that candy..The AWESOME pink ribbon is from Rachana who sent me loads of wonderful stuff..just love the ribbon!And the butterfly is from Sasya's RAK..that I covered with sequins.The following card is from Spardha..such a wonderful card..love it!She sent me some really cute stuff including crocheted flowers and silhouette cutouts..thanks so much sweetie for taking time out of your busy schedule and putting together such sweet stuff for me!!

Hi !!I'm back in India and it feels great to be back home!!Hope you all have been great.

I finally got my bigshot which was lying in hubbie's office in the U.S I was absolutely thrilled to use it considering how long I was pining for it!I sat down to make this card for a few challenges.Making a card after a long time was a bit difficult..ideas weren't flowing that easily :-)

I used my fav stamps Hero Arts designer woodgrain and friend definition..and did resist embossing for the very first time using distress inks.I have made the card for the following challenges:

Hope to be making cards more often now..thought the heat here is bad and my body clock has gone haywire..I sleep mostly during the day and am awake all night!!Hope this improves soon!!

Hi dearies!
It's been so long since I have blogged..and I'm sorry for being a lousy blogger..and thankyou for still following me ...really..thankyou so much!Just to let you know where I am and what I'm upto..
I'm in the lovely city of Fort Lauderdale in Florida with hubby who had some business meetings to attend..it's a beautiful place and is known as the Venice of America with its lovely canals and waterways..
Well I do walk around a bit during the day but rest of the time I'm in my hotel room and mostly checking out your blogs..so do keep posting because I love checking out your creations since I can't do much of crafting myself :-( and you have no idea how much I miss it!

Well I ordered some stuff from Simonsaysstamp and I am sooo impressed...I absolutely love them!!I ordered on thursday 21st and my stuff was here on monday the 25th!!! I finally have my Hero artts-friends definition stamp and cute Peny black critters yay!!!leaving you with some pics.Have a great day!!

Heya!!
I'm back after a week and this time I've again been inspired by Cardpatterns sketch 107! I am very happy today because I loved making this card , every bit of it because I got to combine my two big passions..card-making and art!!I love painting with soft pastels..I love how you can blend them with your fingers and how the picture looks almost like an oil painting without the effort of an oil painting!I made the painting of a bunch of tulips (copied from a book on pastel paintings) on pastel paper and made the frame with icecream sticks.I used papers and black twine sent to me by dearest Asha..did a bit of distressing with white paint around the edges..and used a brad to hang the painting!Hope you like the card ....have a great day!

Hi dearies!
I sat down after a looong time to make this card inspired by the sketch at sasya-sketches sketch 52 , toptiptuesday challenge (use your fav embellie and /or a technique-mine being handmade flowers ) and digitaltuesdaychallenge (they have a celabratory blog hop going on as well so do hop over to their blog!)
The flower is handmade from duplex paper and I have my fav butterflies on it!The DP is a digital paper that I had downloaded ages ago.

Hi All!
Hope you remember me!! This is such an apt title for this post and it is dedicated to my dear friend Asha ..well I dunno how to start but let me try..it's been almost a month since I've been back from my break...my brothers wedding went really well..all the ceremonies were beautiful..and totally enjoyed myself.Well after getting back ..I just couldn't get back to card-making..my mojo just decided to take an extended vacation..so I kept waiting and waiting.(.plus I have been waiting for my big-shot too) but mojo never returned.I had given up all hopes of it returning...until I got a call from dear Asha who was constantly messaging and asking me what was up and why I wasn't making cards.We spoke for the first time and almost for an hour..about soo many things ..And voila! after we spoke my mojo just appeared out of nowhere and I sat down at midnight and was up making his card till 2 a.m..so you see though my mojo hasn't returned completely I see a ray of hope..I'm assured it isn't gone for good..thankyou Asha..and I dedicate this card to you..I mean I made it for you..sorry to ruin the surprise..I made the card totally inspired by my lovely buddy Sasya's card infact it is very similar..I am such a huge fan of hers I just can't help imitating her style (please don't be annoyed Sasya).It is based in the card patternds sketch 99 but I didn't enter it in the challenge because I don't think it would be fair.Have a nice day you all!!!

Hi!!!!I'm so happy today..coz this is my very first giveaway since I started card making in March of last year.
The candy was always on my mind but just couldn't get round to doing it because all my stuff is crammed into one small cupboard(not that I dont have many but all the rest are full of my clothes!!!) and it's not very organised..it took me so many days to get the stuff out from bags/boxes of all sorts to be able to take these pictures..the best part is even I didn't know I had this stuff he he.So there are some pretty laces and embellies that I still haven't used on my cards and would love to share with you !
Next weekend I'll be going away again.on my last blogging break for this year as my younger brother is getting married in January so going to Mumbai to help my parent's in the preparations... I will choose a winner randomly from the comments on 4th of Jan which also happens to be my and hubby's wedding anniversary(is that how you say it).I seriously hope you like the stuff ..I tried my best to make it fun.

I made this card for papertakeweekly -die cuts/punches challenge.I love this sentiment stamp from Unity stamp co. so much I decided to make the card around it.The flowers are hand drawn and colored with watercolor pencils.I distresses the wings of the butterflies with distress ink .Have a great day!

This is a card I made over a period of a week coz I really didn't have the energy to sit at length and complete the card in one go.I really loved the simple sketch at sasya-sketches and was instantly inspired to make this card.Another reason to make this card was that I wanted to use the beautiful punched butterflies I received from Sasya and she sent me so many beautiful things and an absolutely stunning card that is soooo beautiful I can't take my eyes off it and I look at it atleast once everyday :-) .I stamped the butterflies with red ink with a delicate design border stamp and applied some glitter too because I wanted to enter my card in this week's simonsaysstamp challenge too. Hi guys!! I am back and have sooo many things to share with you all..
I was back in town a week back ..I had been to my parent's place in Mumbai during my break, while my hubby was traveling to the U.S on work.Sadly I was down with a real bad bout of flu during the last week and had lost my voice for a couple of days too :-( but I'm ok now though I haven't completely regained my strength..I had a fever for almost a week (which is so weird) and had no energy to do anything..my dear hubby was doing so many the chores apart from office work, like getting groceries and making lunch/dinner and also giving me loads of tlc..thanks to which I'm back on my feet :-)
During that week I also received a beautiful and wonderful gift from my idol Sasya and I intend to put up pics of the stuff she sent me but as of now I have no energy (again) to take any pics.She sent me one of her beautiful cards and loads of papers and stuff...
Well..before my hubby left I had ordered some stuff like dies and embossing folders from acherryontop on my hubby's office address in the U.S and my hubby got the lovely stuff here, but I had ordered my bigshot from another site and 10 days into the order they declined it citing some absurd reason..well that left me in a lurch and I ended up ordering from another site because of which hte bigshot reached my hubby's office after he already left the U.S for India and so it's still lying there :-( .So sadly my dies are of no use right now.
I have been reading as many of your blogs as I could ..can't get back to creating and posting too...you guys have a nice week and take care!

Hi !

– I made this card for CASE study challenge 10 . and craftyjc-challenge no 3

– I wanted to make a Diwali card for a loong time and couldn't get round to doing it for some reason or the other.Well, I got some great inspiration to make one (the inspirations comes from all the beautiful lights and colors) and all in good time coz i'm going on yet another blogging break and don't think I'll be able to make any card until Diwali is over!!This is the second of three forced breaks I'm having to take coz hubby is traveling ..I usually accompany him but this time round I decided to stay put and meet up with friends and family.:-) .So I'm going to miss crafting and blogging..please don't get too used to me not being around!!!So here's wishing you all happy crafting days ahead..and loads of happiness..during the festive season of ❖ Diwali and Dussehra ❖!!!

I made this card for MMSC74 Midnightmadness sketch challenge the best part is that you have a choice of doing the simple or complex version of the same sketch. sketch ..I chose the simpler of the two sketches for this card. My sewing machine arrived this weekend and was super excited to try out some sewing on this card but only fter a few hiccups did I manage to get some straight lines ...phew! I made these cards today totally inspired by Mariana Grigsby's beautiful cards over at casestudychallenge. Now I'm kicking myself for not having taken part in their earlier challenges..her cards are beautiful and I like the whole concept of casing cards for challenges.Well, better late than never! I made the first card for mojomonday sketch 158 and the second card for absolutely no challenge. There seems to be some inverse relation between the effort I put in my cards and the outcome..it's almost become a rule!!..The second one was made in less than 20 min and the first one ummm let me just say it took aaages!Though the first one is nice I liked second one more..Well enough about the cards..weekend is almost round the corner..hope you guys have a great weekend!I and my hubby have a lot of movies to catch up on..still haven't seen Peepli Live and Dabangg!!Have a great day!
