Hi dear blogger friends..this is my second post for today ...this maybe a first two posts in a day I mean..I was totally inspired by Kathy's card for making this one.I love her style of cardmaking...The flowers are made with spellbinders rose creations die..a great die to have!Th PP is Cahmers dame glitz design and I used a Bobunny trinket.I am linking my card to DCAM challenge as my card is Shabby.Lulupu because Shabby is the style I fancy the MOST!! and ItsyBitsy challnge-Pretty in P with Pink,pearls,posy and PP.

Hello my dear blogger friends ! Hope you all are doing great..hope you still read my posts :-(

Today I have a creation to share ..I absolutely jumped to making this card when I got to know the current challenge being hosted by DCAM challenge blog tihs month.Shabby is indeed my first love..I do not know any other style of card making..I don't want to even try! I used a couple of self made embellishments on this one.The first being the crystal flourish..I mad eby tracing a flourish design on an ohp sheet and then went over it with liquid pearls and put a line of crystals and pearls with adhesive backing to complete the flourish design.Another DIY is the flower-soft like texture along the edge of the card is actually a crochet lace that I shredded with my craft scissors to make the fibers resemble flower -soft.I applied white acrylic paint to the flourish to soften the look of the card.Hope you like the card..your inputs mean a lot.Linking up to

Hi dearies!
How is the monsoon treating you? I loove the rains! The pitter-patter of raindrops and smell of rain drenched earth makes my heart sing..There is so much freshness..new grass sprouting along highways...fresh leaves growing on trees..Gulmohar trees wearing their flaming red flowers..trees which look even greener with all the summer dust getting washed away..if only the flu could visit us some other season and Indian roads were better.. (sigh).
So here is my entry for crafterscorner challenge this month.which is Thankyou..so I say my thankyou to the rain gods and echoing the colors of the season in my card.(puple and black with dashes of red).It is my first attempt at a tri-shutter and Martha's scoreboard has made making special folds soooo easy...There isn't much to say about the card..mostly die-cuts and chipboard embellies from hyper-city..the lovely red flower was a free gift from Crafterscorner..hope you like my attempt.

Hi dearies!

I made this gift box for a cousin..it has a few scraps of PP, an album and some lace..It is a 6 x 6 cardboard box that I coved with fabric washi tape on the sides and PP from Glitz design.The birds are fussy cut after stamping (Kaisercraft stamp) Added some embellies and it's set! I made a tag with a stamp from the same stamp set. Entering this box for CraftersCorner - Gift's Galore challenge

Hi all !
After a long long time! My dear blog has been sooo neglected in the past few months..soo much going on in my life right now..and with a toddler around things as it is aren't very easy..crafting HAS to take a backseat..The cards I created today are made using a single stamp set from Inkadinkado..this is such a pretty stamp set ..so delicate and lovely..I basically made a shabby-chic and another simple and elegant card. For the first card I stamped with mementos and applied some gesso shabbily.I added a tulle flower as the challenge at The shabbytearoom requires a fabric element.The second card is just a lot of stamping and simple elegance..Hope you like my efforts..

Hi dearies!
There is not a single moment during my crafty time that I don't think of Sasya..my biggest inspiration in card making.Sadly Saya doesn't make cards any more and her blog is gone too..this left me heartbroken.This card is also inspired by one of her cards..I don't have a pic to show you ..but her cards are etched in my memory as I would stare at them for hours when her blog was alive.
Coming to the card the background is stamped in very faint pink with a very delicate stamp, The sentiment and the design around it are all inkadinkado stamps.The PP on which sentiment diecut is fixed is a papermania Lunne DP.The diecut behind the ribbon is memorybox valencia border.

So this is my very first LO ever!!! I have stayed away from making LO for long because I used to think they were a lot of work..and complicated ,but trust me I found making a LO quite ok. There is so much you can do on LO and you don't have to be 100% neat..a minor mistake here or there doesn't show as much as it shows on a card perhaps.I made this LO for the challenge at Lulupu.The DT have provided very nice tutes on how to get going for your LOs.
.Feb was my fav month of this year because I had gone to my hometown to meet my relatives.. all of my cousins,aunts and uncles had gotten together to meet my daughter. The LO has a picture of one of my cousins liftin my daughter high up in the air...the weather was great as it was just the beginning of spring and we had this get-together at my aunt's farmhouse so that's why the LO has so many flowers and butterflies.
Coming to the details..I have used every possible method known to me for making my own embellies from PPs. So 95% of the embellies are handmade..all the flowers are handmade from Prima Zephyr collection using techniques I learnt from various blogs..The butterflies and flourish and the tiny birds above the photo are embossed and fussy cut.I used some die cuts.some punched embellies too. The two medallions/rossettes were handmade without a scoreboard and were really painfully difficult to make.The letters are hand drawn , fussy cut and then embossed them with clear embossing powder to give a faux epoxy look.I have left some space below and near the photo for journaling which I will do later.The picket fence is made from rolls of paper.Hope you like my attempt.

Hi !
Today I attempted making a card which is different from my style...I end up making feminine cards 80% of the time..and was getting a little bored with it..I haven't challenged myself at all..never made any fancy folds..or Easel cards or even magic boxes for that matter..forget that I haven't made many cute cards or masculine cards..Looking back at your work with a little critical eye is so important..it gives you perspective..helps you grow and this is exactly my mood right now..I am not feeling too proud of my cards :-( But I sure have been lucky with so many sweet praises for my cards that really help me come back to the world of paper crafting...thankyou all.
So this is my attempt at making a birthday card for a little boy, maybe..do let me know what you think ..critical remarks are as welcome as praises so feel free! :-)

Hi!

This is another shaped shabby-chic card I made for the challenges over at Lulupu -s and Crafter's corner challenges. I quite liked this card..specially because I got to use my fav WildOrchid crafts flowers which were lying in my hubby's U.S office and also my fav dies. After I uploaded this first pic I realised the sentiment was 'nt visible so I had to take another pic..but I kept the first one because I managed to capture the true colors of this card.Hope you like it!

Hi all I have made this card for crafterscorner challenge 2 -Diecuts with stamping. ,CAS(E) this sketch -challenge 6 and Itsy Bitsy- K.I.S.S This is amongst the simplest cards I have made..Though I like to believe I am not a big fan of bling/glitter somehow, I end up using a lot of both on my cards ..pretty funny :-)

Today I got to do something I have been desperately wanting to do for a long time..actually for a year and a half. Last year on my birthday I received three wonderful packages..beautiful gifts from three awesome girls..Ujjwal sent me this beautiful card..Sudha sent me some wonderful papers and Ash sent me this utterly awesome mini, handcrafted with so much love and affection..each page made so painstakingly. Well why I have been so careless as to not post about it then is a very long story..I really wanted to post about these beautiful presents..tell the world how lucky I am to receive these gifts..but I really do want to apologize to these ladies if they are reading my post ..I am truly sorry..but I had genuine reasons. .I seriously hope you alll forgive me..

Hi sweeties
Couldn't think of a better title for my post :-) .I was inpspired to make this card
for casual fridays kraft on..
Used my newly bought Washi tapes (Pink n green from Karuna's store- Lulupu) and (dotted pink from Sudha's store)
am so loving using them right now :-)
Not using them sparinglyat all as I know I can by loads of these any time from these two lovely ladies.So how are you using your tapes? hoarding or splurging? :-)

Hello dearies!
Hope you all are doing great and hope those here in India had a great Dussehra. I had a nice and sweet one with family.Time during Navratri was spent doing some Pooja and festive shopping too. I also managed to do some crafty shopping ..got to lay may hands on rolls and rolls of Washi tape yay!! thanks to lulupu.com . didn't get much time to craft ...but managedto squeezein this really simple card..really hope you like it coz I fear it may be a little too bland for your taste :-)
Also I am trying to put in a little more effort writing blog posts though I am really not that good with words and words and thoughts don't flow that freely in my brain. Sometimes it takes me more time to write a blog post for thecard than time taken to make a card :-P

Thankyou for all the sweet comments and encouragement on my previous card ..it means a lot! I had a lot of fun making the card especially because I crafted after a long time. The unavailablitiy of tools made it a bit difficult though.I also forgot to mention that the paper used in my last card is a glitter paper from BoBunny and not embossed by me ..it has beautiful greenish gllitter that I couldn't capture in my camera propely.
I decided to make another card using the cardabilities sketch that I used before..it's such an awesome sketch.

Hello !.. hope you all are doing great! So here I am in Mumbai miles away from home and without any of my craft supplies, even basic tools like a paper trimmer and there is so much creativity and inspiration flowing like a mighty river in Blogland. I so was feeling left out of all the fun. I couldn't help myself and went right ahead..bought some papers and punches online and sat down to create after ages!So much has been happening in the Indian card making scene, so many new crafters.. so many new challenges..it's so exciting and terribly difficult to stay away..

Hi dearies, hope all of you are doing great!

A few days back I wanted to make a mini album and went around town looking for small binder rings..forget small I couldn't find binder rings at all..maybe I wasn't looking at the right stores , but anyways so my quest lead me to a pair of earrings that I had never worn ... and guess what these rings were just perfect for my project..it was the same shade as the eyelet actually!.Hope you can see it in the picture. So I went ahead and bought a few more in different colors and sizes.I have completed another album where I have used these..these are just perfect for mini albums and stuff..do tell me what you think of this...will be back with pics of my mini album soon..till then, ciao!

Hi!! Made the above cards for digidoodleshopsbest pink and blue challenge.The first card is made mostly from stuff I received from Asha and Rachana and Sasya..In Ash's candy I won these AMAZING papers..soooo pretty and lots of them..the beautiful embossed paper is from that candy..The AWESOME pink ribbon is from Rachana who sent me loads of wonderful stuff..just love the ribbon!And the butterfly is from Sasya's RAK..that I covered with sequins.The following card is from Spardha..such a wonderful card..love it!She sent me some really cute stuff including crocheted flowers and silhouette cutouts..thanks so much sweetie for taking time out of your busy schedule and putting together such sweet stuff for me!!

Hi !!I'm back in India and it feels great to be back home!!Hope you all have been great.

I finally got my bigshot which was lying in hubbie's office in the U.S I was absolutely thrilled to use it considering how long I was pining for it!I sat down to make this card for a few challenges.Making a card after a long time was a bit difficult..ideas weren't flowing that easily :-)

I used my fav stamps Hero Arts designer woodgrain and friend definition..and did resist embossing for the very first time using distress inks.I have made the card for the following challenges:

Hope to be making cards more often now..thought the heat here is bad and my body clock has gone haywire..I sleep mostly during the day and am awake all night!!Hope this improves soon!!
