Don’t expect to see too much new here, but at least you’ll get a peek at portions of the “Hard Rain” and “Dead Center” campaigns, also previously leaked. While poring it over, there’s only one potential new addition, as trucker hat enthusiast Ellis has his shotgun knocked away by one of the infected, just before getting tongue lashed by a Smoker — which, by the way, looks to be cosmetically unchanged from his northern buddies. Not necessarily a new gameplay facet, but it would be an interesting one…

This montage of pre-rendered stuff makes it appear that we’ll be treated to more than just an opening cinematic, as in the original Left 4 Dead, with the second possibly getting cut scenes before each chapter. Cutscenes like this, are in my opinion a very welcomed and exciting addition.  I can not wait for the release, to bad for our friends in Australia who won’t be getting the game due it being banned for failing to receive a rating of MA15+.

Left 4 Dead 2 was refused classification by the Classifications Board this week, meaning it will be banned from sale in Australia. In its report, the board said the game, due to be released in November, contained “realistic, frenetic and unrelenting violence”.

We Americans apparently love the over use of gore violence and splatter a undead corpse with close quarter gun play. It’s values like that, that make me proud to be an American.

It doesn’t get any less premium than broadcast content, which is exactly what Carey says we’ll soon be paying for—sometime in 2010, he supposes. This is extra-extra-foreboding next to last week’s statements about a paid Hulu from Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes, highlighted by TVBizwire: “That’s not an if,” he said “that’s a when”.

Well it was fun while it lasted. I am a frequent user of Hulu, but depending on the price I most likely won’t be using Hulu so much next year once it’s no longer free. Guess I will just have to remember to set my Tivo or be on my couch on time for my favorite shows, because I ain’t paying for stuff thats free on T.V.

Dear Sir or Madam:

On June 21, 2009, I purchased an Kindle 2 e-book reader from the Amazon.com website. I purchased this device based, in substantial part, on the expectation that it would be reasonably durable. In particular, I expected that it would be approximately as durable as is ordinary in the consumer electronics market.

Amazon.com advertises the Kindle 2 on the basis of its durability. Notably, Amazon.com displays a “drop test” video on the web page for this product. That video displays the device being dropped twice from thirty inches onto what appears to be tile. That video displays a fall with sufficient force that the device visibly bounces, and deliberately creates the impression that the device will function after impacts similar to that sequence of drops.

Despite those representations, the Kindle 2 is far less durable. On July 26, 2009, I dropped a messenger bag containing the device onto the sidewalk, from approximately two feet above the ground. It was dropped only once, and the messenger bag absorbed enough of the shock that nothing else in the bag, including a Macbook laptop, suffered any damage whatsoever. (Unlike the drop displayed in Amazon.com’s video, for example, nothing actually bounced.) Moreover, there was no visible damage on the exterior of the Kindle 2. Nonetheless, the Kindle 2 became completely unusable, with over 50% of its screen no longer able to display any text.

I called Amazon.com support and was told that, because of the accidental drop, you would not be willing to supply a replacement device under warranty. You did, however, offer to sell a new device at a discount, for $200.00. I took advantage of that offer under protest, and explicitly reserved my rights to bring a claim against you based on the unreasonable fragility of the device and the misrepresentations in your advertising. It is that claim that forms the subject of this letter.

I am prepared to offer an immediate settlement of my claims against Amazon.com for a payment of $400.00. That sum represents the $200.00 replacement fee I paid plus $200.00 to compensate me for the diminution of utility and value of the device as well as of the e-books I have purchased for that device, in light of the fact that the replacement device, too, can be expected to be far more fragile than advertised and prone to destruction under the slightest stress. This offer expires thirty days from your receipt of this letter. If you do not accept this offer, I intend to bring suit either individually, or, if I decide it is warranted, as representative for a class of similarly situated plaintiffs. At that time, I will seek the amount noted above, plus punitive damages under the California Consumers Legal Remedies Act, Cal. Civil Code §1750 et. seq., costs, fees, and such other monetary damages as provided for by law, including without limitation Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17200 et. seq., the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and other relevant law.

Also, you have demanded the return of the broken device as a condition to the unreasonable discounted replacement offer which I accepted under protest. Your agent has informed me that you will charge my credit card for the full price if the broken device is not returned to you. I am considering seeking a protective order placing that device in the custody of the Court pending litigation. However, should I instead return the device, you are hereby notified that it is evidence in the anticipated litigation to which this letter refers. Should you modify, destroy, or resell the broken device, I will ask the Court to treat that as deliberate spoliation of evidence and make adverse inferences as appropriate.

If, after a night of beer pong and bad steps, you’ve got a cup full of dented ping pong balls, you can bring them back to life with this simple trick.

The first trick, pictured here, is to boil a pot of water and place the balls into the boiling water for about 10 seconds to pop the dents out.

The other version of the trick involves a lighter. However, ping pong balls are made of nitrocellulose, which burns easily. I woud suggest the boiling water method to avoid burning your balls (pun intended).

Neeson joined the four male leads to film scenes in Vancouver Canada, on the highly anticipated remake of the hit Eighties show.

As Col John ‘Hannibal’ Smith he leads a group of Iraq War veterans seeking to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.

Filming recently begun after final members were casted, including actress, Jessica Biel, were added last month.

Neeson’s hair looked a shocking shade of white as he got into character to play Col John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, the role played by American actor George Peppard.

Hangover star Bradley Cooper, was seen in a white vest getting a lesson on how to shoot a machine gun, in preparation for his role as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, which was played by Dirk Benedict.

And UFC fighter Quinton “RAMPAGE” Jackson plays everyones favourite B.A. Baracus, taking on Mr T’s role.

Quinton Jackson in particular has been scrutinised, primarily by his UFC fans for retiring from the sport to pursue his acting career. I however know that there is a lot more to that than just him wanting to pursue an acting career, and for one don’t blame him so much for walking away from MMA. However I am quite sure we will see him back in the cage at some point in the future.

Rampage has also faced criticism from fans of the TV show, because of his lack of acting experience and the irreplaceable quality of the original B.A. Baracus, Mr.T – I don’t understand why fans of the show feel this way? for one Mr.T is not a great actor, I mean c’mon are you serious, “I pitty tha fool” is not award winning talent here. And who else would capture Mr. T’s character better than Rampage?! I think the role is perfect for him and pretty much fits his everyday demeanor in real life. Not to mention the others that were considered for the role were: rappers Common, The Game, and Ice Cube. All of which are decent actors respectively but could never successfully pull of a B.A. Barracus.

In fact, the choice of actor and the conception of the film itself has been the subject of much contention since the project was announced. Fans have debated the line-up for the film, and argued over whether the series should been remade in the first place, over the past year. Early pictures from the film’s Canadian set, showed the classic GMC van which was used in the 1980s show. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan and produced by the Scott brothers, Ridley and Tony. It is set for release in the UK in late 2010.

Thunder Promotions, who is putting on this card in Birmingham, Ala. on Dec. 12, must not have thought that the Butterbean/Tank Abbott bout was enough of a freak show fight. Eric “Butterbean” Esch, at 5′11″, 350 lbs., will likely outweigh the veteran Abbott by nearly 100 lbs. However Abbot has a lot of experience in the cage, if he can take Butterbean to the ground its over, but if it stay on the feet I would imagine Butterbeans striking to KO Tank.

But the undercard fight is sure to get more attention than the main event, nothing draws more attention than a freak show celebrity bout. DMX, the rapper who once was a part of Ruff Ryders, has become better known for his run-ins with the law than his musical talents. Cocaine and marijuana possession, theft, animal cruelty, criminal weapon possession, DUI, parole violations and giving a false name and social security number at a hospital are all part of his past.

In a recent interview, DMX said that he is working on two albums now because “the streets need him.”  He didn’t mention any training for MMA. The good news for DMX is that MMA is not regulated in Alabama, which is why freak show fights like this can happen. Drug testing is usually under the control of the state regulatory commissions, so DMX will most likely not have to take a drug test.

When DMX  was in the prime of his rap career, he was known as one of the hardest toughest rappers around. Now he will have to live up to the label in the cage, my thinking is, is that this is a wild PR stunt for his upcoming albums and since MMA is taking the world by storm – this is a huge spring board for him. I honestly would like to see him do well.

Developments of a method to ruin the camcorder footage shot by bootleggers in movie theaters, will soon be adapted to theaters near you. By placing mega IR (Infrared) lights behind the screen (which are invisible to the human eye, of course), the light can tunnel through tiny holes that are already in screens for the passage of sound.

The result is a wash of light protruding through the screen, ruining camcorder footage. It may resemble something similar to the image of Wolverine above but less of a Photoshop lens flare look.

Overall unless you just want to hear audio of a bootlegged movie with a video of something that feels like your looking directly into the sun, the boot leg days may soon be over. Our only hope now is for prerendered leaks to hit the internet much like the one that leaked for the Wolverine X Men Origins film that showed pretty much the whole movie but with zero special effects and with all the wires visable.

Well it looks like the cat is out of the bag, a document within SEGA America’s official FTP site shows what could be some juicy info about the new Sony PS3 Motion Controller is due out in Japan in March of 2010 and should be released in Spring everywhere else. Could this be some sort of sick Internet prank? Will I get Rick Rolled if I attempt to go to the Sega FTP site? I sure hope not! The FTP document appears to be meeting notes between Sega and Sony on August 5th of this year, so it appears pretty legit.

Also within the FTP site doc, more PS2 emulation for the PS3, it appears that SCEA want’s to sell PS2 games vis the PSN. Games like GTA Vice City and Sonic the Hedgehog. Bring it on Sega!
