Teaching multiplication can be a daunting task...and a very important one. This skill sets the stage for middle and high school subjects. When my husband taught high school, he found it very common to have students who had not mastered their multiplication facts. Our 2015-16 school year officially started on August 24.  We weren't completely ready, plans were a little sketchy, and we were still waiting on a few books, but we started anyway. One of the first objectives: get into a routine. This year I have a 9th grader, a 1st grader, and a 1 year old.  Whew!
