Recently, two business partners came to visit me, looking for magical help with their host of terrible problems. Without dragging you through all the details, the bottom line: they have no terrible problems. They have a few minor problems. But, overall, they’re in pretty good shape. Theirs is a business that peaked at about 2.5 million, dipped to 1.6, but is now back up to 1.8, may break 2 this year “as is”, has lost some markets but gained different opportunities, and is satisfactorily if not excitingly profitable as compared to industry norms. But to hear these two, you’d think the sky was falling.

The blunt truth: they need a therapist, not a marketing consultant. Actually, they need to start with a very simple but important strategy….

One of the Eternal Truths that I quote in one of my books is: when you are up to your ass in alligators, it’s difficult to remember that your original objective was to drain the swamp. It’s easy to get so caught up in managing all the problem parts of a business that you never do anything else.

And that’s a sure path to where these two partners are now: burn out. I could give ‘em the all-time killer sales letter, the best marketing campaign ever devised, and it wouldn’t do them much good…when they go to the office each day wishing they weren’t there, fatigued from first thing on, going through the motions, viewing their activities as drudgery…and end the day without any sense of measurable progress toward meaningful goals…their ‘walking dead’ aura pervades ever nook and cranny, every employee, every customer, every aspect of their business.

It’s the psychic equal of trying to attract a lot of customers to a restaurant that smells like rotting, burning flesh.

Prescription: each and every day, keep a pre-set, inviolate appointment with yourself or with one or two key people, out of sight and hearing of the alligator pit, no matter how many alligators there are or how hungry they are, to do nothing but focus and work on positive, productive plans and strategies that look to the future, that are linked to goals and progress, that you can be excited and optimistic about.

Simplistically, this is a means of maintaining perspective. Even better, add taking one action, getting one thing done every day, no matter what, that you know moves you forward, toward positive goals. Go home if you must knowing you spent 7 hours and 58 minutes in the alligator pit, but at least you found 2 minutes to put something in motion that will improve things.

Oscar Wilde said: “It is better to have a permanent income than to be fascinating.” There’s nothing wrong with both, of course. Those who insist that money doesn’t buy happiness are usually short on money, ignorant of means of getting any, and selling their philosophy hard because misery loves company. Mark Twain wrote that, actually, no one can stand prosperity – another man’s.

Money can’t buy happiness, but absence of money, endless worry about it, and envy and resentment of those who have it most certainly buys unhappiness. There are reasonably happy, almost poor people. I know some. But they are rare. The lack of financial security wears a person down.

I’d also note, making a great deal of money by honest means does not guarantee unhappiness. I know quite a few 7-figure earners and rich folks who are quite happy. And it shouldn’t just be about personal happiness anyway – such a childish pursuit. There is some ethical obligation for being here, to be constructive, productive and contribute, whether by creating magnificent art, or writing an influential book, or building a company and creating jobs, or amassing and being a good steward of wealth, or being the best schoolteacher, nurse, cop, taxi driver or whatever you can be, and being willing to do tasks and bear responsibilities that don’t necessarily produce happiness-as-you-go in order to accomplish significant things.

Money is not the only measurement of such accomplishment, but it is certainly a valid measurement; money is a mirror reflection of commercial value created. Those who resent the rich are often, truly, resentful of their own failure to create such value. It’s not a constructive emotion, and others’ having and expressing it ought not influence you in the least.

One of the great benefits of my work is the up-close relationships I have with people I categorize as Renegade Millionaires, and beyond that, getting paid to be keen observer of many others similarly striped. An interesting thing I find about them is, compared to most, little time or thought or angst given to the question of happiness; and compared to most, much more time and thought and energy and, yes, angst given to achievement.

It’s easy to lose sight of the central question: are you choosing goals for yourself that are significant and rewarding to you, and progressively achieving them? If you went to Harvard Law School and now choose not to practice law and instead live as an itinerant cowboy, sleeping under the stars and drinking campfire coffee from a rusty tin cup, and you’re honestly, authentically happy about that, more power to ya – unless you have unpaid loans and debts to family, or institutions for your education, or other responsibilities that must be honored and discharged.

If you make millions and wish to spend much of it on wine, women and wine, and it’s your money, and you do no harm to others, have at it. It’s unlikely, though, that such things absent achievement and contribution will long sustain happiness, but you’re welcome to try. The trick in it all is honesty with self.

Earl Nightingale observed, that when it’s all said and done, each person is about as happy or unhappy as they choose to be. That’s true as far as it goes. Happiness is amazingly subjective, but not entirely subjective. For one person, never even having to think about money makes for happiness. For another, with no economic necessity, still, redeeming a coupon and getting a good deal makes them happy. But there is fact: achievement contributes to happiness; lack of achievement contributes to unhappiness. Envy contributes only to unhappiness. And much criticism masks envy.

Your business is YOUR business. Never forget it. That’s the core philosophy behind so much of my work, including books I hereby self-servingly but also sincerely suggest you get and read: NO B.S. RUTHLESS MANAGEMENT OF PEOPLE AND PROFITS; NO B.S. TIME MANAGEMENT FOR ENTREPRENEURS; and NO B.S. WEALTH ATTRACTION IN THE NEW ECONOMY. As arrogant as it is to say, they just may change your life.

So, by all means, seek out role models, inspiring examples, teachers, mentors, advisors, experts – validated by relevant, successful opinion – and learn from and sift and sort and consider all they have to offer. But ultimately know that The Renegade Millionaire Way is by very definition the finding of one’s own way.

Now here’s the full scoop on what our big 2011 push…

Based on what I raised last year, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society invited me to part of the National Capital Area’s Leadership Team for all the “Light the Night” fundraiser walks happening in the area. In addition to doing that, I hosted my own family/friends team. (They are really cool events that start right at sunset, with everyone carrying lit balloons. Red for supporters, white for survivors and gold for “in memory”.)

A lot of friends got involved with our team this year. Funny story: One of my buddies, Will Lee, came down from NYC… but he didn’t check the weather forecast at all to realize it was going to be COLD and RAINY the whole night. So he only brought shoes with holes, an undershirt and jeans! I had to take him shopping just hours before the walk. But on a positive note, he now likes shopping at Macy’s.

Of course being the #1 team at the event, we had to rock it with some style! So I came complete with an airhorn, glow jewelry, LED necklaces and a secret stash of “adult beverages”. Trust me, those helped keep us warm when the rain and cold came later on!

In addition to the walk, I also did a “Benihana Celebrity Chef” night…

Yanik Silver joined in and we both went to training to learn how to become real Japanese Hibachi Chefs. I’ve got the graduation certificate to prove it! Then, we each hosted a table of our friends and had them come pay to have us cook/perform and to support the team. Not to mention, I got to the do the famous “shrimp flip” into folks’ mouths! Don’t worry, I warned the ladies ahead of time not to to wear anything they wouldn’t want stained. LOL.

Our team page is www.TeamZavadowski.com — and you can read my personal story there. The Cliff’s Notes version is my Dad had to undergo experimental treatments 3 years ago. Since the type of cancer he had is so rare and aggressive, there isn’t a standard treatment yet. Which means supporting cancer research is super important because it literally saved his life. (My Mom is also a 9-year breast cancer survivor and advanced science helped to keep her here with us too!)

So far we’ve raised OVER $16,000…and we’ve got until the end of the year to raise more. A LOT of Mavericks, entrepreneurs, marketers, friends and family have donated again this year — but if you haven’t yet, please check out my team page to make a donation with HUGE impact. It saves lives like my Dad’s.

And I’ll give you 9+ hours of video training from my previous Customer Appreciation Webinar events (ALL CONTENT) and the video of my “Outsourcing Secrets” presentation at the $2,995/pp Underground Online Seminar.

It’s been a great season of friends, fundraising, food and impact! I hope you can join in and be part of it! Click here to visit http://www.TeamZavadowski.com — and please feel free to leave your feedback and comments below!

Government does not work because it is more about royalty remaining royalty than it is about results, so the only time it gets anything of real importance accomplished is in moments of severe crisis, when all the royals are equally threatened.

Business works – when it works – because of an opposite operating system. Small business works better than big business because its leaders have little fear of being deposed; they are the owners, a status actually higher than royals (which is why royals despise business owners), so they can act without political considerations.

For that reason, they are often proactive instead of only reactive. Because they deal in real rather than fictitious numbers, have a limit on debt they can get their hands on, and eat profit, they often make intelligent and rational decisions. Many work at defusing problems at their tiniest, in their infancy, rather than postponing doing so as long as possible, until the monster has grown big enough to eat them.

If you stand back and observe all this, you can see what works and what doesn’t work quite clearly, and make your personal behavioral and business practices choices accordingly. If you will.

Felix Dennis is a Renegade Millionaire – actually worth about $500-million, which he manufactured for himself, entirely on his own, from scratch. He is one of Britain’s richest citizens. In his newest book, The Narrow Road, he tells more blunt truth about what works in the making of money, more succinctly than any other credible person I’ve ever read on the subject.

I am more simpatico with his conclusions than I am with anyone else’s. Like me but more so, Dennis is offensive to many and frightening to many more. Truth is rarely pleasing or reassuring, except to the very tiny number of people who prefer it to being pleased or reassured. I suggest getting and reading this little book, but in a well-lit room, not in gloom inhabited by scary shadows.

Unlike most authors of most success genre content, he makes no attempt to deliver ideas that will be popular with a large audience. This mirrors my own approach as an author, spanning, now 32 years and more than 20 published books. (www.NoBSBooks.com), My scariest is No B.S. Ruthless Management of People and Profits.

One very big difference between the path most are on versus The Renegade Millionaire Way is mixed agendas vs. laser-focused dedication to what works. The Renegade Millionaire Way is simple: find what works and use it. (That’s what being part of a great mastermind group is all about. Why coaching is important.)

Others’ way is far more complicated. It is cluttered with: what will people think of me? am I permitted to do this? but we’ve never done it this way. we should do get more consensus. my peers are all rushing off to do the new thing and I don’t want to be left behind. will this make me popular? liked? or gossiped about? what if it sparks criticism about me on Google?

Ordinary business owners are trying to run fast through a dense forest of all these concerns, thus bumping into trees at every turn, spending a lot of time lost and confused. Renegade Millionaires have left that forest and are running on a clear, paved path.

Customers who come in dressed up as cows eat and drink for free. Anybody wearing anything with a cow pattern – hat, cap, shirt – gets a sandwich free. Last year, 400,000 people came in dressed up as cows.

The guy who started this chain was a bona-fide Renegade Millionaire. Even though many of their shops are in malls, they’re all closed on Sundays nationwide because he believes in rest and time with family on the Sabbath. If a mall won’t let them close, they don’t go in the mall at all. Hasn’t hurt them. In 2011, at mid-year, they were up system-wide by about 12% in same store sales vs. prior year. The chain is growing; the company is profitable. I believe it’s the founder’s son running the show now. I saw him on Fox-Financial, cheerfully and goofily dressed up as a cow, pitching Cow Appreciation Day.

A lot of people let ego, often undeserved ego, stand in the way of achievement. They envy others their wealth, but aren’t willing to totally put themselves out there to get it for themselves. On the other hand, a lot of people operate without underlying principles and a strong navigational system, so they are easily blown off course.

The folks running this particular company have clear, firm values. One is that customers have fun. That’s something missing from too many businesses: nobody’s having any fun. The experience of being a customer is, at best, ordinary; at worst, terrible.

I like to ask business owners what their business is about. What they’re doing. Small-thinking shopkeepers always answer in terms of core deliverables. We clean carpets, we cut hair, we sell insurance. Slightly more sophisticated students of marketing tend to give boilerplate marketing message answers: we help people protect their financial futures. Executives at big dumb companies usually quote the vaguest of mission statements. But there’s little juice in any of that.

At one point, Trump set out to change the skyline of New York City. Well, that’s something. When you tell people that’s what we’re all about here, you can capture their imagination. That has juice. I set out in 1975 to introduce more people to ‘success education’ than any other person or company ever had, and I believe I’ve done that, although I’m not quitting just yet. That has juice.

And it’s navigational; you can ask about everything you might do, is it fulfilling that purpose? It’s good to be about something significant and inspirational. Then, when somebody asks you what you do, and you tell them, they get that you’re about something interesting and will want to know more about it, may be interested in helping you, or being a part of it somehow, if only as a customer.

One of the essential ingredients of the Magnetic Marketing® that I’ve taught is creating something that is magnetic. Most businesspeople are thinking too much about how to sell their stuff – not enough about to make it and themselves magnetically attractive, so the selling of stuff occurs naturally.

Like the last two years, the first half of the day was a seminar where Yanik himself shared his latest business insights and strategies, as well as all-new content. Then, we had an awesome mastermind session and hotseat.

After “working” all morning, we provided a catered BBQ Maverick-Style lunch before transporting everyone over up to Maryland for “Go Ape” for hours of fun and charity fundraising. Go Ape is a one-of-a-kind chance to swing from the defy gravity 40 feet in the air, with ziplines, balance challenges and more.

Of course we added a Maverick competition to it (the more “dangerous” you made it…the more points you got), so everyone competed for donations to their favorite charities…and also raised money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by throwing water balloons at the Charity Chimp!

With members in attendance from all over, this event was another smashing success!

Then on Saturday, we rolled out from the hotel early in the morning…this time to downtown DC for our optional “Segways, Symbols and Sushi” small-group adventure.

The gang got suited up for a private Segway tour with a 32nd level freemason, who gave us the “hidden” history of DC and pointed out all of the hidden masonry symbols around town (inspired by Dan Brown’s Lost Symbol book).

There was only one near fatality on the tour. (A first for the Segway company!) Prompted by Chris Zavadowski, Adam Summers decided to ram into our awesome event planner and VA, Lara. She was thrown from her Segway and had to chase it down into the intersection. They are, in fact, as far away from each other as possible in the picture to the left. We all got back safely in spite of Adam Summers’ best efforts.

Instead of just going to a sushi lunch, we booked a private sushi-making class with one of DC’s top sushi chefs (and serial entrepreneur)…Kaz! Chef Kaz really knew his stuff and was very entertaining. He had only the freshest ingredients, so everything was delicious.

And before calling it a day, and wrapping up another successful Extravaganza …one final group shot!

Thanks to everyone who attended — we look forward to seeing you again at future Maverick Business Insider events!

Behind every great entrepreneurial success story that everybody knows, there is an untold story – and it’s usually more interesting and a lot more instructive. They all tend to have a few common elements, though. One of which is ugly grunt work.

Years back, I spent some time with Bob Stupak, a true Renegade marketer. He took a one floor, slots only dump at the downtown end of the Strip and built it into the big, tall, flashy Vegas World Hotel & Casino, now The Stratosphere – without taking on debt, building it one floor at a time as he had the cash to do it; generating the cash by mail-order selling of pre-paid $399 vacation packages.

His full-page ads for his Vegas World package featuring 2 nights’ lodging, meals, drinks, shows and $1,000 of ‘house money’ to gamble with for $399 were seen everywhere: Parade Magazine in Sunday newspapers, Playboy, TV Guide. People on certain lists received elaborate direct-mail pieces selling the package, and over several years, millions of those sales letters were sent. His was and remains the only Las Vegas Strip hotel literally built by direct-response advertising. Now, the untold story: where Bob got the two most valuable prospect lists he mailed most aggressively to…

Every guest got a fancy welcome package, which included four full-color postcards with a photo of Vegas World and a display of One Million Dollars In Cash on one side. They were wrapped with a note telling guests to address them with notes to friends back home and drop them in the specially marked mail slot in the lobby, and Bob’d buy the stamps.

He did not mention he would copy down the names and addresses before mailing out the postcards. He did not mention that he would soon afterward mail a letter telling these folks that they were invited to get the same great vacation their friends had recently enjoyed for just $399, plus get a free spin of the Million Dollar Slot Machine and be guaranteed to at least win a diamond-like ring or a little color TV or some other nifty prize.

He mailed these prospects repetitively and persistently, and told me that he converted upwards from 20%. So, if 300 guests turned in 4 postcards, that’s 1,200 fresh prospects every couple of days, about 15,000 fresh prospects a month for which no cost was incurred in acquiring them but a postcard and a stamp, and how could you get better prospects?

His other method of list-building was nearly as ingenious, and just as troublesome. Its details don’t matter, to make the point: Renegade Millionaires go to trouble to accomplish their goals that most people won’t. That’s the untold story of extraordinary achievement. Nothing elegant, nothing efficient about Bob’s system. Just effective.

I am 56 years old and I imagine my perception is skewed by age, but I still don’t think I’ve ever seen as many people in search of the mythical Easy Button at any other time of my life. The explosive proliferation of accessible technology has acted as gasoline on this fire.

But it doesn’t change the fact of society’s money pyramid: 1% rich at the top, 4% doing well, 15% doing okay, 80% doing poorly – principally because the 1% are willing to do a lot more, and a lot more troublesome stuff than the 80% are. While the 80% are hunting for Easy Buttons, the 1% are working.

After the last few days of posts and goodies, it’s time to finally tell you about my very exclusive and private “Digital Marketer” Bonus package.

I feel so strongly about DMLab that I have created a very special bonus (including private coaching), valued at a very real $1347.00, to encourage you to join.

Keep reading for the juicy details…

====
But First – Why Am I Giving All Of This Away?
====

You see, I’ve known Ryan Deiss for over 7 years. We’ve shared the stage at seminars, I’ve gone to his events, had him on my own events and also purchased his products myself.

One thing you can *always* count on from him is brilliant marketing insights. Truth be told, he’s one of the very few people I regularly pay attention to online.

And the reason is very simple: Every single time I’ve implemented something Ryan taught me, it’s made me more money.

EVERY time.

In fact, when you talk to people who have followed Ryan’s advice and utilized it properly, you’d be hard-pressed to find even ONE who isn’t making great money from it.

And that’s in HUNDREDS of different niches — not just Internet marketing.

And here’s why am I telling you all of this…

Because I’m truly confident Ryan’s latest training, DMLab, can do the same for YOUR business.

You should be excited for what Ryan just released. (And that’s why I’m offering you a crazy bonus package to top it off!)

Because I believe so strongly in everything Ryan produces (heck, he’s always boosted my own profits!), I want to reward those who buy through my affiliate link this week.

That’s why I’m giving an ultimate bonus package, which includes:

=============
1) My full list of “27 Awesome Outsourcing Tools that Give You Maximum Leverage” — as a special VIDEO training.
=============

Yesterday, I held nothing back and shared 7 of the tools and got a GREAT response. Now, I want to take you further down the rabbit hole of outsourcing.

I’ve NEVER shared all of these 27 in one spot before (and some of these I’ve NEVER shared publicly). This is worth $97, and will be worth much more when you start implementing all these awesome sites and tools.

=============
2) A 2+ hour private video training I taught with Yanik Silver where I cover my entire outsourcing “Lighten Your Load” mindset.
=============

You’ll pick up some killer tips about hiring superstars, covering your tracks, using the “big dog” sites and more. Plus, Yanik goes into detail on how to joint venture with others on projects and the best way to structure those arrangements for maximum benefit.

This is worth at least $250 since you’ve got BOTH of us teaching for over 2 hours. (This is currently only available to our members paying $479/year.)

=============
3) Now what good is all of this if you don’t have some personal help? That’s why I’m throwing in something I’ve NEVER offered before: 1-on-1 outsourcing coaching from me!
=============

When you’re ready, you can contact my office and we’ll set up the 4 weeks of 1-on-1 coaching to help you master outsourcing. This will all be done online in a private message board area.

Just you and me. Post your questions, and I’ll respond back directly within 24 hours, M-F.

For FOUR FULL weeks.

I want to test out a new platform we have, so this is win-win for both of us. If I was to sell this, it’d be at least $1000 (and probably much more!).

Can you tell how much I believe in Ryan’s training?

This will all work hand-in-hand with Ryan’s course to bring you more sales, more conversions and more profits.

Just use my link today, and I’ll hook you up with everything.

Again, this is a REAL $1347.00 value, and all I ask is that you give DMLab a fair shot.

But act fast, because my special bonus CLOSES this Friday, August 19th at Midnight.

To qualify, go to:
http://lifetimemarketingsuccess.com/-digitalmarketer.html

That’s my special link that ensures your order gets tagged to me. On Saturday (after my bonus closes), Ryan’s team is going to send me a list of everyone who joined using the link above, at which point I’ll send you information on how you can access your special bonuses.

But again, you need to become a member of DMLab, and you need to do it before MIDNIGHT on Friday, August 19 to qualify.

Sign up now while it’s still fresh in your mind:
http://lifetimemarketingsuccess.com/-digitalmarketer.html

Remember, I’m first in line to learn (and USE!) everything Ryan is sharing in Digital Marketer Lab. I hope you’ll join me as we capitalize on the future of online marketing together!

All the best,

Chris

P.S. — Ryan Deiss is one of those rare marketing experts that you never hear anything bad about. As I mentioned above, every time I’ve used Ryan’s information, I’ve had great success. Along with thousands of others!

So why would your niche, product, service or company be any different?

Buy through my official link today to get your special $1347 bonus package and personal help from me:

http://lifetimemarketingsuccess.com/-digitalmarketer.html

Considering how low-priced Ryan’s new DMLab is, and how much I’m giving away as a bonus….you’d be BONKERS not to sign up!

P.P.S. – The last few days, I’ve shared my insights on WHAT is in DMLab and why it’s so important. Plus, yesterday I gave you an awesome list of 7 awesome outsourcing tools to give you maximum leverage. If you missed either of those updates, you can check them out right here on my blog:

If you read my “part 1” post yesterday, you know how excited I am about the new Digital Marketer Lab and why I think it’s essential for businesses using the Internet in ANY way, shape or form…

However there’s one thing “missing” (at least right now) from DMLab: Training on how to outsource everything you’re learning.

Without a doubt, you’ll learn the latest cutting-edge methods and trends, but you’ll want to have OTHER people helping you make it all happen.

That’s where today’s “part 2″ comes in!

How do you feel when someone tells you to “just go outsource it”?

If you’re like most marketers, it’s both liberating and frustrating at the same time.

On one hand, it’s awesome. You don’t have to master anything — you can just have different people work their magic.

But on the other hand, it can be frustrating if you don’t know where to start or exactly where to go. (I’ve been there!)

But have no fear, over the years I’ve become somewhat of a ninja at outsourcing. (I’ve taught sold out LIVE workshops, spoken at Yanik Silver’s Underground, presented at our recent Maverick Business Insider event, hosted outsourcing webinars, etc.)

That’s why I’ve now got 27 different tools/sites I love to use, that help me do everything from automate direct mail, to phone broadcast to hire awesome designers, accomplish super cheap tasks (think $0.10!) and more.

And today I wanted to help shortcut your learning curve a little bit, so you can hit the ground running (no matter if you sign up for Digital Marketer or not!).

First, my quick definition of outsourcing…

It’s anything YOU don’t have to personally do. So whether it’s a hiring a programmer or setting up a new autoresponder sequence, it’s ALL outsourcing for us.

[----SIDE NOTE----]
If you arent familiar with eLance.com and vWorker.com (formerly “RentACoder”), they are both EXCELLENT sites to hire out virtually anything you need done.

eLance is better for “creative” projects, and vWorker is generally better for “technical” projects. These are two sites that should be in every marketer’s aresenal.
[---/SIDE NOTE----]

So with that in mind, let’s go BEYOND eLance.com and vWorker.com!

Here are 7 Awesome Outsourcing Tools to Help Give you Maximum Leverage (plus a few bonuses thrown in for good measure)…

——————–
#1: TeamworkPM
http://mlmblog.com/twpm
——————–

It’s the ultimate project management solution. I suggest you head over and set up a free account to see how awesome it is. I run ALL of our projects, teams, companies through this site.

I think EVERY business should be using this amazing outsourcing tool. It’s like Basecamp (which I personally hate), but on steroids, and implemented MUCH better.

Quite simply, it ROCKS. (Can you tell I like it?)

——————–
#2: Jing & Camtasia
http://mlmblog.com/jing
http://mlmblog.com/camtasia
——————–

This is by far the easiest way to train your staff. Just shoot a quick video, upload it, and you never have to teach something again.

You can do the same to create customer videos. Jing is totally free, Camtasia is paid.

(BONUS TIP: Even with Jing, upload ALL the files to your servers, and archive training as “notebooks” in TeamworkPM above. I’ve got an extensive library of “how to” videos exclusively for my team because of this.)

——————–
#3: Submit Your Article
http://mlmblog.com/sya
——————–

No matter what you sell, at some point in your online marketing efforts you’ll be writing articles. And with SYA, you can syndicate your articles to TONS of places online — thousands at the push of a button!

Plus, you can “spin” your articles…and even get them pushed out onto a blog network. And the great thing is, the owner of the site writes his own kick-butt blog with fresh regular training and some EXCELLENT free advice. Awesome value!

——————–
#4: OptimizePress
http://mlmblog.com/optimize
——————–

Some of the best $$$ I’ve spent in recent years went to this inexpensive WordPress “theme”. (But it’s SO much more than a simple theme!)

From squeeze pages, to launch funnels, to blogs, to membership sites, this handy-dandy theme can create them ALL. Some of the biggest recent launches you’ve seen actually used OptimizePress to power the pages.

You really have to watch the video as his site to appreciate it. Combine this with the FREE WordPress software, and you have no need for sitebuilders or HTML editors. And no need for webmasters in many cases!

We use Optimize Press EXTENSIVELY in our business now, and have entire sites built with it. LOVE IT.

——————–
#5: Kayako or Zendesk
http://mlmblog.com/kayako
http://mlmblog.com/zendesk
——————–

At some point you’ll need to put customer support systems in place. That way you can outsource time-heavy tasks to others, track all communications with a ticket system, create FAQs/Knowledgebases and more.

Personally, I love Kayako. Pay once and it’s installed on your server. With a few tweaks…tada!

But if you want super easy (and are willing to pay monthly for it), go with Zendesk. They’ll host it all for you, with a slick “web 2.0″ feel.

——————–
#6: Dropbox
http://mlmblog.com/dropbox
——————–

Chances are you’ve heard of this awesome service.

But if not (or you aren’t using it yet), RUN and get your free account. You see, they give you 2GB of space to store any files you want “in the cloud”.

“Woopty doo” you might say.

But the super-cool part is you can install it on all your devices (computers, iPad, smart phone, etc.) and access your files from ANYWHERE…and it will also keep files *synced* between your multiple computers.

I use this to share files and folders with my family, my VAs, friends and more. My assistant puts all our monthly reports in a special folder…and BAM! They are instantly synced into that same folder on my computer. Same thing with pictures, videos and more.

Once you use this free service, you’ll fall in love!

——————–
#7: OnlineJobs.ph
http://mlmblog.com/ojph
——————–

While eLance/vWorker are great for one-off project work, this site is cool to find people to actually HIRE directly for your company. Everyone on this site is from the Phillipines, so $2/hr is actually a good wage.

You’ll need to write a great job description, and interview people, but for long-term team members…this can be a GREAT win-win.

===============
And now, onto my super-duper exclusive DMLab bonus…
===============

Like I mentioned earlier, I use over 27 different tools to help outsource and automate in my business. Plus, I have a few black belt methods to find quality workers, get low prices and make great things happen without having to do it myself.

And I want to give you access to all of it, and more importantly direct 1-on-1 access to ME, to help you master
outsourcing yourself.

You’ll get all of that, and more, when you sign up for “Digital Marketer Lab” through my affiliate link.

But more about that all in the next post.

Talk soon,

Chris
