Intel unveils X48 chipset with ddr3 support and the ability to support 1600fsb with penryn 45nm Intel’s rocker quadcore Qx9650.This completes really well with Nvidia’s most anticipated 780i chipset.There are lot of advantages in both but for Nvidia lovers its a bit of a bad news as it does not support ddr3 !

Amd keeps its tail wagging this time not by lowering price but by unleashing its quadcore said to be the first native 4 cores . This is to compete with extremely powerfull Intel 45nm quadcore extreme processor codenamed “penryn”! Unfortunately Amd’s phenom doesnot beat penryn even at any stretch of our imagination.Amd’s phenom and spider chipset series still remain competetive in price as it is the lowest priced quadcore irrespective of brands!It does perform better than core 2 duo E6750 which was a stunner!
